Cell C 50GB data sim card contract
I opened a contract online with cell c last year for a data sim of 50gb for R249.00 p/month over 24 months period, now today the 30th April 2022 they deducted R318.97 really unhappy about this makes me want to terminate this and take telkom 80gb. Next time if you increase your price notification us so we know.
Desired outcome: Please sort it out, or else I'm terminating this deal CELL C. And using alternative provider.

Please note that on tuesday the 19th of april 2022 i applyed for a new line with cell c they approved it they said they will deliver on friday...friday i called they said monday...today is monday i called only to find out the courier went to deliver my phone at rustenburg whrelse i asked the agent who was heping me to deliver at my workplace at sandton.now i have to wait again for more days wen i call cell c they put me on hold they drop the call...i called again they dd the same thing put me on hold and drop my call...they said they will call me back within 10 minutes now its been 2hours no call nothing

I approached cell c for a contract in 2020. Customer service contacted me and a consultant assisted me. The
Phone and sim was delivered to my house. The phone and sim card was returned within week of delivery as the phone had no charger. I am harassed daily for something I dont have. Proof eas submitted to cellc @csssolutions with proof. This is affecting mg credit rating.
Desired outcome: Issue resolved. Harrasment ended. Taken off blacklist.

I been calling and email to cellc and requesting for paid up letter sins last year November I paid my account via their lawyers n wen I asked for the paid up letter they say said it will take em 30 days to give me after that 30 days they told me all the money was paid to cellc n i should request it from them they can't help me because cellc took the account till today I been emailing and calling cellc no help

Failure to update my account for three months

I took out a contract with cell c and at one stage lost my job couldnt make payment.after getting a job i had made payment arrangement and was send the exact balance to pay off,and i paid a total of R14000-00.since jan i have been asking cell c to update the acc,but they have failed dismally.all they do is give case ref no: all the time.they dont give u a call.when u call to make a follow up,u are told they will escalate to legal department.5 weeks later still the same thing.i. fruatrated and need help resolving my issue.
Desired outcome: I want the account updated and a letter stating the balance and that the account is upto date

Blacklisting a stolen mobile phone
My mobile phone was stolen on the 23rd of March 2022. I was told by SAPS that I need an ITC number to open a case which in turn is needed to claim from my insurance. I reported the theft to Cell C since the phone was stolen with my Cell C line. I was told that the process takes 24 to 48 hours and they also asked me to complete and email back the blacklisting form together with a copy if identification document of which I did.
After calling numerous times, I received an email requesting me to send the very documents I had submitted of which I did again. On the 4th of April I received and email informing me that my request had been passed on for blacklisting and the people will get hold of me within 48 hours and it hasn't happened to this day. I have been calling their customer centre and now no one can explain to me why three weeks later I am still waiting for this ITC number.
Why is it difficult for Cell C to treat their customers with respect and assist us when we need them to?! I am very disappointed! To this day, I cannot do my work as I need a mobile device with certain specs and I can't claim from insurance either until I get that ITC number

Cannot do a sim swop
I was advised by CellC customer care to do a sim swop after discovering that my data sim has been damaged.
I've called CellC customer care on 2 different days to try and conduct a sim swop.
Day 1, I could not receive the OTP, possibly due to poor network, in fact one OTP came 15 minutes later. The second did not arrive.
Today, I tried again and failed the second authentication twice and now I'm blocked and can only call back after 2 days.
I do not understand how this authentication works because I have answered the questions correctly according to my knowledge, yet this happens.
I am paying for data which is not being used and customer care has failed to assist me.

Repairs department not willing to release my contract phone

I currently have 3 active cellphone contracts with cell c over a 36 month period each which I entered into agreement about last year feb 2021. however 1 of my cellphones from the 3 contracts got damaged in June or so and I sent it for repairs, unfortunately the amount required was a heavy R2000.00 which I did not have. so like a trusting person I thought the safest place for it to be is with the contractee until I get money to fix it.
early in march I contacted the repairs department and they told me that the phone is now property of cell c and I could not get it back as they where going to sell parts from it. I still have over 20 months of payments due on this however cell c informed me that the phone can never be returned to me which confuses me as I am still paying cell c for the phone which they now have in their possession and will benefit financially from it while I just suck it up.
please assist me as I am not pleased by the level of service and feedback provided by cell c

Damaged sim card
I did a sim swap in last year due to a "damaged sim card", which was never removed from my cellphone, so I still don't understand how a sim can get damaged by remaining where it is!
My sim swap was successful and the new sim had been working perfectly fine until monday 11-04-2022... I refuse to believe that it is a damaged sim and I will not purchase a new one untill someone can give me a proper explanation as to what the actual problem is. Even though it's a prepaid sim!
Anything that remains in a single place and not exposed to anything harmful cannot just get damaged cause that is what your agents are saying to me and I refuse to believe that. Its not just happening to me, the same thing happened to my boyfriend last year and again last week and he had do buy another card for the 3rd time and do a sim swop.
You guys really have to sort this nonsense out with my existing sim or deliver a new one at my residence! I will not and cannot afford to travel km's away from home, just to purchase a damn sim; and still every two weeks! Not going to happen!
I am annoyed, irritated and so upset because I actually thought the change I made from mtn to cell c would be much better but it actually sucks. How many sim swops does one have to do in one year cause of damaged sims! And than nicest part of all you don't get any response so sad

I have a cell c fiber account and every month I have to struggle to get my fiber on it says : Connected but no internet access.
Then I need to phone in to get help it cost me every month about R200 airtime just to get my fiber on.
So after 2 years I had enough and canceled my contract.
This month is my 30 day notice month I struggle to get my fiber up and going again so in total I phoned 6 times spoke to 2 managers and logged complaints but still get no response my airtime bill is at R600 this month for cell c.
I got ticked numbers for food frog to come out and I'm still waiting.

I can really say the staff that tried to help when I phone in is at least trying to be helpful but the last 2 managers that I spoke to should not be in the position they are in the are more then usles and do not seen to help me anyway!
I feel I sit without fiber for 6 days now why should I pay my last bill month end I absolutely revuse!
Desired outcome: To stop my contract immediatelyAnd cancel my 30 days notice and make my notices with immediate effect so I do not have to struggle with cell c anymore and they do not ecspect me to pay the account month end.

Airtime recharged on an older number
Hey apparently I got this situation on the 27nth March I recharged my older cell c number instead of the new number that m using so after that I realise I recharged old number I called customer care and they told me to buy a sim and do a sim swab I bought it and I failed to answer their questions they advise me to go to cell c shop when I go to Wonderpark mall at cell c they said they can't do a sim swab for me n they told me that number is given to another person if it was given to somebody why first day when I called they say I must du a sim swab n in that sim I had R200 airtime and R900 minutes please help me out before escalating this situation

Pinnacle 10gb month-to-month changes
I was phoned in November 2020 by Cell C. The consultant offered me a Black Friday month-to-month deal without a device on the Pinnacle 10gb I was on.
I went o Cell C at the beginning of April 2022 to cancel this month to month "contract". I was then informed that I would need to pay a commitment fee of about R 4600 as my "contract" was only coming to an end in January 2023. When I said I never signed a 24 month contract and that I was told it was a month-to-month contract and that I could cancel at any time, the consultant said that the month-to-month contracts all changed in February 2022. I never agreed to a 24 month contract.
Please assist in cancelling my month-to-month and make my number available on prepaid so that it can be ported to another network. I am done with Cell C!

A datacrontact issued in an area where Cell C have little/no data coverage
I live in a remote area and needed internet access to perform my duties linked to my profession - teaching.
Pietermaritzburg, CellC in Victoria Road is the convenient store close to us (and it is already 120 km one way).
Cell C offered me a contract for internet / wifi access.
After 2 weeks of constant phoning and reporting and trying to sort out the not being able to pick up any signal, the store manager (Mr Musa [protected]) advised that the equipment being returned and the contract cancelled as there appear to be no coverage from Cell C to the area. This was done.
After 6 months a credit bureau contacted me suing for the outstanding amount. I contacted the store manager and the answer was given that he will contact his authorities and sort the matter out.
Doing a credit check I have a Nimble account type F that is 9 months in arrear. Opening the document it is Cell C.
I contacted Mr Musa again and he would look into the matter. I am at the stage that none of my calls to the store manager nor the store itself is answered. messages have been left without any reaction from Cell C.
Desired outcome: I would like Cell C to clear the credit check so that I can have a contract with another company in order to continue with my career.I thank [protected]@gmail.com

Sim card issue
Good day!
I did a SIM swap recently due to a "damaged SIM card", which was never removed from my cellphone, so I still don't understand how a SIM can get damaged by remaining where it is!
My SIM swap was successful and the NEW SIM had been working perfectly fine until last night (07 Apr 2022)... IT IS NOW ON "EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY" AGAIN! I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT IT IS A DAMAGED SIM AND I WILL NOT PURCHASE A NEW ONE, EVEN THOUGH IT'S A PREPAID SIM!
ANYTHING THAT REMAINS IN A SINGLE PLACE AND NOT EXPOSED TO ANYTHING HARMFUL CANNOT JUST GET DAMAGED!

The same thing is happening to me and none of the agents can assist or give me an explanation as to what the actual problem is, I have sent e-mails with no luck at all. On the 31 March I have called C cell regarding a upgrade.
I have upgraded 3 x phones.
When the terms and conditions was read to me I was advised that it will take 3-5 working days for my order.
When I called today which is the 7th working day the consultant advised that there is a stock issue.
I have been a client with Cell C for more then 7 years.
This is the first time I had to follow up on my upgrade and then I asked to speak to a manager and then the call got cut off.
Please check your recordings regarding my upgrade.

Contract service that was sold to me under incorrect details
On the 26/04/2021 I contacted Cellc to cancel my existing contract which was ending, the consultant then convinced to to cancel but at least take up a month to month data package without a device also mentioned that in the even that I would like to sign all that will be required from me is a 30 days cancellation notice. I agreed to the month to month contract, on the 2nd of March 2022 I contacted Cellc to give a 30 days notice cancellation for my current contract to my surprised I was then told that it's a 2 years contract so I would have to pay a cancellation fee in order to cancel. I explained to the consultant that this was sold to me as a month to month contract. Had this information been disclosed to me prior I wouldn't allowed for a 2 year data contract.
Desired outcome: I would prefer for Cellc to offer services that they sell to people exactly as they are without any misleading information especially where finances are concerned
Debit order
Since 3 months now I have been struggling with this people over phone customer service and at the Somerset west branch, they cant seem to see why they don't debit my monthly instalment so now currently I'm paying extra money which they say is never money in my account, m so fed up with this people, so I'm equally paying for something that's was not even my fault, so now every month im doing an eft and still they penalties me for the debit order that does not go off, but nobody seems to sort this matter out
