Cell C cell c - contract cancelled, keep on deducting d/o, still waiting for refund

I have cancelled the last contract [protected]) that I have had with Cell C, 07/12/2018. The amount of the contract is R 500.00 p/month. Up to end of August the debit order was still taken off. I contacted cell c 01/08/2019, via email requesting a refund (not a credit to an account I will never use again). Emails and phone calls from another network (wasting all my airtime contacting cell c) back and forth, each with a different answer than the next. An email received 12/08/2019 confirming that refund is being processed. Friday 06/09/19, I was contacted by cell customer care and advised that there was a technical error (as refund was already processed 12/08/19) and the IT Department was investigating, I was also advise by Grace Tukule that she would phone me back by 09/09/2019 Monday, before close of business and provide me with when the refund will be made and when it will reflect in my bank account. Monday 09/09/19 came and no phone call or email received. Tuesday 10/09/19 I sent another email following up on feedback, no response. I received an email back 12/09/19 from Grace Tukule that the credit reflect on my account and refund has been processed and that the refund will reflect in my bank account by 16/09/2019 Monday latest.. No refund received, 2 call made and time wasted to call centre again 16/09/2019, 1st call not able to assist and someone would phone me back, 2nd call made I was advised that there was a credit processed on the account, but no refund made to my bank account... I did not ask for a credit on the account, I requested a refund from the first contact I have made. I have no more contracts with cell c what would I do with a credit on my account? The customer care, billing, legal departments are useless... no proper feedback is given and when feedback has been given the information is wrong. Is there anyone at cell c that knows what is going on, . Everytime a email get sent it is another 12-48 hrs before you will be contacted, when you call cell c, they "escalate" your query, and the that is also another 2 working days, this morning i was told another 7 working days, when i have already waiting 26 working days since 12/08/19 - when i was advise the refund will be processed. The only answer from cell c that never changes is that "we apologise for the inconvenience and understand your frustration", this seems to be the only thing cell c agents can agree on. The following only some of the reference numbers and interaction with cell c ref numbers, [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]. Incident ref numbers (emails) [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]. PLEASE PROCESS REFUND INTO BANK ACCOUNT AS REQUESTED 01/08/19... STILL WAITING...

Cell C call center agent

I asked numerous times that the debit order date be moved. It was yet again not done. I was told that I am being penelized and I asked why as it is not my fault. It was said that cell c has the right to change the date as they see fit and I must read my contract and I can sue them. I asked if she is mad expecting me to sue them over this and she refuses to help me and said I am using vulgar language. I asked her name as she was rude, unprofessional and sarcastic not to mention unhelpful. She refused and said I can call again and complain. And encouraged me to complain. So maybe she was done as trained and Cell C condones her attitude. I don't think it is the first time and she clearly gets away with it, hence her encouragment to report it. I wish I don't have to do business with cell c anymore, but I am contractually bind. I will never recommend cell c to anyone after this. Please listen to the conversation.

Cell C cell c data bundles

This is not the first time but i've purchased data with a boost. My data balance doesn't show the boost but my airtime balance has been reduced indicating that I have paid for the Boost. This has occurred on more than two occasions. The first time it happened was over two months ago. I don't find the time to submit complaints but the fact that i feel I have been robbed makes me complain. My number is [protected]. Thanks

Cell C cell c contract

I had taken a Contract from Cell C Lifestyle, Ballito with 10 Gig data + 10 Gig promotional data specifically to be able to ad more data if required.
When i require additional Data, i called into Cell C & was advised that i could not buy additional data on the package i had & was told i had to Migrate to another package that would allow this.
Kindli listen to the full call recording to hear that numerous times i specifically asked that if this was done, would the data on the package still remain the same, as this was my condition in agreeing with the suggested migration.
I was ensured that all will remain the same and will not lose any data not have different allocations.
To my shock, i only received 10 Gig data.
When i called in i was informed that due to the Migration i had lost my promotional data allocation of 10 Gig, but it will be escalated and i would be informed of the outcome.I was also informed that i could in fact buy additional data on the original package.
I requested all to be returned the way it was after Cell C gave me wrong information & wrongfully Migrated my package resulting in huge amounts of data losses over the period.
I never heard a word.
i called in again and had the same story.
I demand the promotional 10 Gig to be re-instated as well as all the months it was not allocated be allocated as well as this is the package i took out at 10 gig + 10 gig Promo.

Cell C question

I really am unhappy with cell c, I find out I've been listed for nonpayment, turns out the two bills overdue reflect no calls or data usage likely because the contract had been canceled. I've spoken to at least 6 or 7 people at cell c telling them to credit the last two bills and send me details of any balance owing, after two weeks I have still not had the bills credited.

Cell C's service is shocking their staff are absolutely useless

Good day
i am very unhappy with the service im receiving from you guys. Cell C data sim card

Good Day,

Two years back we have applied for 20G data that was advertised in the Rapport news paper we have made the call and yes we have received the sim card with the data but no router/dongle.

So we decided to cancel this was a struggle as we went to the Cell c Store they gave a number we call to cancel and jet again no successes. We repeated the proses and nothing happened we made numerus calls there was a investigation and jet nothing happen so yes we are furious unhappy and not satisfied.

CELL C have deducted money from my account for more than 2 year and if Cell C will log in to the number you will see that we have not use any data as the sim was faulty. I can not believe that a company as big as Cell C have the nerf to question my integrity as from my side I have tried to cancel this and requested a pay back.

Your services is so pour and I will not recommend C CELL to any one I will also log a complaint on Hellopieter that is for sure.

Cell C cell phone numbers deactivated without my permission

I had 3 contracts with CellC (Fibre, iPhone and data line) and on the 5th July 2019, I called the CFibre customer care to cancel my fibre line contract but CellC customer representative deactivated all my lines including iPhone and data line.
My sim card numbers:

It took your fibre contact centre 14 days to resolve this issue and during that period I had to run around doing banking and I lost a lot of business as I'm in sales business and my cellphone is used to run campaigns.

I have been offered R250 as a goodwill compensation and this sounds like an insult to me considering the inconvenience that has been caused by your negligence and I have been asking your representatives to give me the contacts for complaints department as I'm totally not happy about this and I don't get a straight answer but instead I'm being pressured to take this so called final offer.

This is becoming irritating now, I have been promised to be called and the person that called when I answer they drop the phone than the next thing I can an SMS that wants me to rate the service, what service? Is there any other way of resolving this without having to wait for phone call that never comes?

Hi

I'm not sure if did you understand my complain, because the Fibre Support Team is the same department that I'm complaining about.

I was hoping by sending this message this matter would be referred to a different department that actually deals with Cell C unhappy customers as the Fibre team believes that the R250 they are offering me is enough but to me it sounds like an insult.

Cell C cellphone contract upgrade

I done a Upgrade telephonicaly In June, The agent confirmed i would receive 300 minutes, 2 GB of Data, and Sms, on the 19 July, my upgrade date, I received an SMS, Stating on a different package.

I have Spoke to the agent and Manager, on numerous on occasions and opened many cases, and they have closed multiple cases without resolving my query... and me having to get back in contact the calll centre,

Now the agent is trying to negotiate a different Package, cause he manager is on leave.

Its been 50 days of trying to resolve this query, I am frustrated and unhappy with the service provided by CELL C

Cell C airtime and data disappearing again!!!

Cell C is one of the worst cellular network crooks i have ever come accross.I bought airtime and data and within that same day all my airtime is used up.When iI call the idiots they tell m e it shows that i was on the internet but the isiots cannot tell me whci sites i have been on. I am tired of cell c ripping us off with data and airtime.I have spent over R300 on airtime and data for them to just take it like that.I want all my airtime refunded that i have purchased for this month.I am not a stupid consumer where I will be told maybe my apps are running in the back ground. I have ensured that thare are no apps running in the background that I am not subscribed to any WASP services, that i do not send any sms to premium-rated numbers, have not done Airtime transfers that I am not aware of.So I am very curious as to know what [censored] data usage report they are going to send me about me being on the internet.

If they are going to tell me that its my fault I want you top tell me
What services am I being charged for?
Is there a company billing me for subscription services?
What is the name of the company or companies billing me?
Do you have a phone number for that company?
What sites I have on and for how long for my airtiem and data to just disapear like that.
I am gatvol.Sad thing is I have been using this network for years wher it has been the cheapest and you would get value for your money but now sadly everything is a money making scheme where you think people do not monitor things like this.

I want this issue to be resolved and I do not want your kak excuses of being on internet site.It is time Cell C either provides us with the services that we pay for, or if they feel they are imcompetant to do so, then they need to close down.

Cell C No response to my query lodged on 2 september 2019

REFERENCE [protected] I purchased 40mb data from CellC on 17 August 2019. On 1 September I received my usual monthly minutes, messages and data, but the balance of 31mb data which remained on 31 August was not carried forward to September. The data which I bought in August is due to expire on 17 September. I phoned the Call Centre and spoke to an INCOMPETENT agent who logged the complaint. I also emailed CellC regarding the matter and was advised that the query would be resolved within 48 hours. To date, NOTHING HAS BEEN ADVISED TO ME! The customer service is NON-EXSISTANT!

Cell C Deactivation of cell phone number

Good day.

I would like to lodge a complaint against you guys pathetic service. A few weeks ago I did a simple swop on my cellphone number [protected] SIM swop was successful. About 2 weeks after I used the aim to make calls to the customer service center SIM card worked. Today the 05/09/19 I tried to put the aim on and it refused to give me signal. When I contacted the customer service center with another cellc phone I was told that my simcard was permanently deactivated. Now my question to you guys is... How can you guys deactivate a number without proper authority from the client. I am a business man and that cell number is used for my banking. Today I am unable to do my banking as you guys deactivated my number. Who is going to compensate me for the running around to the bank and the time off from my business as I have few staff present today. I am really upset with the pathetic service received. I want my number back and I don't care how you guys do it. You guys have no right to deactivate my number which I purchased.

Cell C uncleared credit profile

Good day

I once had an account numbered [protected] with you but its still uncleared with the ITC and is showing that I have a balance of R199. This is really impacting negatively on my credit profile as it brings my score down.
Kindly clear my balance and provide me a letter stating that I no longer have any balance with you.

Cell C cancelled data contract

I had a data contract with Cell C since August 2017, for R299.00 (20GB night time & 20GB day time), then with the VAT increase the fees increased to R301.62, there was a R100 loaded for usage that went over the 20GB a month, which meant that of the R100 was used the debit order would never be more than R402.50. In July for some reason an amount of R418.49 was debited and then in August an amount of R402.50. I cancelled my contract effective 02/08/2019 which was confirmed by the call center and now another amount of R402.50 was debited from my account for my usage in August? There is no way in hell that I used all the data allocated in 2 days.

Can someone please contact me and explain how they came to this amount of R402.50 for August and the additional amount of R15.99 that was debited in July? I am aware that this is a small amount and I am sure I'm not the only client where an extra amount was debited.

Your urgent response will be appreciated.

Cell C packet wifi router

I find myself having to reboot my wife router every now and then for the past month.
After I have visited to cell c store I was informed you are working on the problem.
surprisingly you deducting the full premium and yet you are failing to provide the service you promised on the contract.
You must stop deducting premiums until you solve the problem alternatively allow us to cancel our contracts and go to other network operators who seems to know how the business is run unluck you.
In short what I want is you to release me from this contract.

Cell C Unauthorized debit order deduction from my account.

Hi

My name is Hermanus Stephanus Strydom, ID No :[protected] . I had a Cell C contract that I canceled at the end of the contract period in May 2019.

Cell C did not cancel my contract . Only after a visit to the Cell C shop in Cape Gate Center in June 2019 the contact were terminated .

They are still taking R155 per month via debit order from my ABSA account . The last debit order put through by them was on 25 August 2019 .

I tried calling them to no avail . If you get through to a person they give you the run around and say they cant help you . I have tried calling their legal department . They just do not answer the number provided . I have tried for five days, about two hours per day . No luck on speaking to someone .

Today I went back to the Cell C shop in Cape Gate Center . I spoke to the manager and the assistant manager . THEY JUST SAID THEY CANT HELP ME . i MUST PHONE THE LEGAL DEPARTMENT . THEY ALSO CALLED THE NUMBER PROVIDED AND GAVE UP AFTER HALF AN HOUR WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ANSWER THE PHONE .

This level of service is unacceptable . Who is going to help me to stop Cell C from stealing my money ?

Cell C upgrade

I was phone by Chamaine on the 12th August, she advised me that they were running a promotion and i qualify to get a new phone, yesterday i received an sms that i will get a delivery from 8-5, still today i haven't received anything. I find your service very disappointing as i have phoned now and one of your consultant said to me that, they cant see information regarding my upgrade on their system.I am very disappointed on the service that you are giving to your customers.

Cell C still being billed for cancelled contracts

Dear Cell C. It has been 7 months now since I cancelled a contract and I am still being billed for it every month. There is also a second wifi contract that was cancelled due to faulty routers that were supplied from the beginning of said contract. After numerous phone calls, e-mails and trips to the Cell C shop and empty promises I eventually received an e-mail stating that all my issues will be resolved on 29 August 2019. Long story short and to put it in as subtle a way possible, I have made it very clear that I am unhappy with the situation and it has not received any attention. I have proof and a paper trail of all the necessary documentation from my side. For a world class company like Cell C, I am dumbstruck to how they are able to open an account in 5 minutes, but take 7 months to cancel a contract. I know this is a long shot, but if Cell C has a person competent to explain to me how this fits in with their standars for customer service or alternatively sort out the matter, it would be much appreciated. Cell C sim number

My name is Emeka Sanctus Okoye and I have been using my sim for over 8 years and I travelled to Nigeria frequently using the same Sim while am out of south africa. Recently I am in Nigeria and my line was suspended. I spoke to the customer services and they referred me to Nerisha Gounden whom I sent an email and came back to me on email that i should send my passport copy which i did and also called her to confirm the email. She later then said my sim is not Rica d and that the line was suspended because there were too many calls going out of south africa to Nigeria and back from Nigeria to south africa. Which I said to her it is because am in nigeria and my line is a business line even though it's a prepaid it is the only way I can communicate with my clients while am out of the country and she didnt say any other thing again but I should wait until I return back from Nigeria to south africa before they can be able to review the line or help. So what happens then if I lose my business and clients while am out of the country ? Then what is the use of it? Please kindly see to this as it is not really fair to me and my business
