How pathetic can one be. We have been trying since Thursday last week to speak to a manager at Cell C. Each and every person picking up the phone transfers the calls to re tensions and colleagues. Not prepared to put the call through to a manager or to provide an email address where a complaint can be lodged. We will take this complaint to Hello Peter and Social Media if a call is not received from a manager at Cell C

I am not happy with the service I got from your call centre, spoke to Philile Xulu and Nompumelelo Zungu which both couldn't not assist on my contract sim for swim swap no [protected] when the asked me questions which supposed to be on my credit profile and but I dont have such things on my credit profile and one question was when did I buy property which they gave the address as well and I am sitting here renting and has never bought any property, Cellc is failing us with its poor service and now I am sitting with my second sim card no [protected] that I owe R197.00 emergency data because of their useless services they load data on my phone which I did not ask for and now they tell they are aware of the problem, I must not load airtime on my phone until when they dont know

I am a clientnof cell C for over 10 years. I took a second contract on my name. Everything went well and The cell phone was delivered fast.
After this it all went to wrong.
When I opened the phone and the sim card gave an error. I was informed that the sim card wasnt rica on my name..
I was informed to call back between 8 and 5. I called and a call was logged. After 48hours the phone was still not on. I called again and advised they will escalate... Another 24 hours and still no answer or feedback.
The managers also dont call back... So still no answers and a fustrated client and a dissapointed user...

On tuesday the 10th of september 2019 I bought a hurricane cellphone from the shop via a mr pollen nkuna. I bought the phone based on his words that it comes with a free 6month exchange no matter what happens to the phone.
I asked "even if the screen brakes"?
He said yes, no matter what, even if the screen brakes.
Friday the 13th (of all days) it fell out my pocket and I deed did crack the screen.
I went to the store the 14th to exchange it as per mr nkunas sales promise.
He was not in. The manager tumelo called him to verify my story which he denied, on speaker phone I asked if he is willing to undergo a polygraph test, as I am, to verify it... He refused.
I asked tumelo for the area managers no 3 times, he ignored me.
I also signaled my fiance to come into the shop who was sitting in the car.
She came in to the store where I introduced her by name to tumelo, who asked her what my words were when arriving home with the phone on tuesday, to which she replied"he (that's me) said he got this phone here at a great deal as he can return it anytime in 6months even of the screen brakes"

Tumelo said they will check the audio and video on the cameras monday. Monday after I conversed via whatsapp with tumelo.

Today I went to the store to find out what's cooking as i'm clearly being ignored.
The salesman in question, mr pollen nkuna (a manager) reacted aggresive towards me and came from behind the counter, past his colleague approaching me with a raised voice and started to clinch his hands making me feel I was about to get assaulted.
I asked him why is he getting so aggressive and shouting at me...
His colleague told me to remain calm and did not subdue mr pollen nkuna in any form and sided with mr pollen.
I would like my matter resolved without having to return there please.
I do not wish to be intimidated again and shall only go there with police presence.
I shall be reporting the matter to the sap.
Please see the footage of the store to verify this. I was there now. Just past 9am.
The manner which they accused me of "throwing" it on the floor this morning and attempted assault in my opinion is disgusting.

I have been looking at upgrading my cell phone contract with CellC for some time.
On 12/09/2019 I received a SMS message from CellC promising me a deal on a Hauwei Y9 Prime for R249. It promised me 1.5g of data as well as 3 hrs call time. This deal was valid for Friday 13th only.
I submitted my Rica documents to Cell C to enable them to process the contract. On collection of my phone at 17.00 I discovered that the 3 hrs call time was in fact 1hr to other networks and 2hrs to CellC network. I did however proceed with the transaction.
I feel that this is false advertising to enable CellC to garner extra clients andthat they have not delivered what they promised. This is aggravated by the fact that a person is not able, by just looking at a cell phone number, to know whether it is on a CellC network or another network.

My name is Seitlamo Ikaneng and I'm cell c client, On August 2019 i did change of ownership for 065 number and i was over charged with R520 more and I've been calling to get my refund i was told to wait for 7 days of which it has pass already...I'm really disappointed on how you guys do business because i must struggle to get my transport money that you guys took seriously if it was on your side you were going to call and send sms to me...your service is very poor and I'm going to take this further more if I do not get my money tomorrow.

cell c - contract cancelled, keep on deducting d/o, still waiting for refund
I have cancelled the last contract [protected]) that I have had with Cell C, 07/12/2018. The amount of the contract is R 500.00 p/month. Up to end of August the debit order was still taken off. I contacted cell c 01/08/2019, via email requesting a refund (not a credit to an account I will never use again). Emails and phone calls from another network (wasting all my airtime contacting cell c) back and forth, each with a different answer than the next. An email received 12/08/2019 confirming that refund is being processed. Friday 06/09/19, I was contacted by cell customer care and advised that there was a technical error (as refund was already processed 12/08/19) and the IT Department was investigating, I was also advise by Grace Tukule that she would phone me back by 09/09/2019 Monday, before close of business and provide me with when the refund will be made and when it will reflect in my bank account. Monday 09/09/19 came and no phone call or email received. Tuesday 10/09/19 I sent another email following up on feedback, no response. I received an email back 12/09/19 from Grace Tukule that the credit reflect on my account and refund has been processed and that the refund will reflect in my bank account by 16/09/2019 Monday latest.. No refund received, 2 call made and time wasted to call centre again 16/09/2019, 1st call not able to assist and someone would phone me back, 2nd call made I was advised that there was a credit processed on the account, but no refund made to my bank account... I did not ask for a credit on the account, I requested a refund from the first contact I have made. I have no more contracts with cell c what would I do with a credit on my account? The customer care, billing, legal departments are useless... no proper feedback is given and when feedback has been given the information is wrong. Is there anyone at cell c that knows what is going on, . Everytime a email get sent it is another 12-48 hrs before you will be contacted, when you call cell c, they "escalate" your query, and the that is also another 2 working days, this morning i was told another 7 working days, when i have already waiting 26 working days since 12/08/19 - when i was advise the refund will be processed. The only answer from cell c that never changes is that "we apologise for the inconvenience and understand your frustration", this seems to be the only thing cell c agents can agree on. I asked numerous times that the debit order date be moved. It was yet again not done. I was told that I am being penelized and I asked why as it is not my fault. It was said that cell c has the right to change the date as they see fit and I must read my contract and I can sue them. I asked if she is mad expecting me to sue them over this and she refuses to help me and said I am using vulgar language. I asked her name as she was rude, unprofessional and sarcastic not to mention unhelpful. She refused and said I can call again and complain. And encouraged me to complain. So maybe she was done as trained and Cell C condones her attitude. I don't think it is the first time and she clearly gets away with it, hence her encouragment to report it. I wish I don't have to do business with cell c anymore, but I am contractually bind. I will never recommend cell c to anyone after this. Please listen to the conversation.

This is not the first time but i've purchased data with a boost. My data balance doesn't show the boost but my airtime balance has been reduced indicating that I have paid for the Boost. This has occurred on more than two occasions. The first time it happened was over two months ago. I had taken a Contract from Cell C Lifestyle, Ballito with 10 Gig data + 10 Gig promotional data specifically to be able to ad more data if required.
When i require additional Data, i called into Cell C & was advised that i could not buy additional data on the package i had & was told i had to Migrate to another package that would allow this.
Kindli listen to the full call recording to hear that numerous times i specifically asked that if this was done, would the data on the package still remain the same, as this was my condition in agreeing with the suggested migration.
I was ensured that all will remain the same and will not lose any data not have different allocations.
To my shock, i only received 10 Gig data.
When i called in i was informed that due to the Migration i had lost my promotional data allocation of 10 Gig, but it will be escalated and i would be informed of the outcome.I was also informed that i could in fact buy additional data on the original package.
I requested all to be returned the way it was after Cell C gave me wrong information & wrongfully Migrated my package resulting in huge amounts of data losses over the period.
I never heard a word.
i called in again and had the same story.
I demand the promotional 10 Gig to be re-instated as well as all the months it was not allocated be allocated as well as this is the package i took out at 10 gig + 10 gig Promo.

I really am unhappy with cell c, I find out I've been listed for nonpayment, turns out the two bills overdue reflect no calls or data usage likely because the contract had been canceled. I've spoken to at least 6 or 7 people at cell c telling them to credit the last two bills and send me details of any balance owing, after two weeks I have still not had the bills credited.

I reported my father's passing to cell c secunda and they instructed me to bring documents proving his death and I did just that. They then lost all those documents claiming their colleague is mentally unstable. Then we were told to send the documents via email to the store and we did just that. Two years back we have applied for 20G data that was advertised in the Rapport news paper we have made the call and yes we have received the sim card with the data but no router/dongle.
So we decided to cancel this was a struggle as we went to the Cell c Store they gave a number we call to cancel and jet again no successes. We repeated the proses and nothing happened we made numerus calls there was a investigation and jet nothing happen so yes we are furious unhappy and not satisfied.
CELL C have deducted money from my account for more than 2 year and if Cell C will log in to the number you will see that we have not use any data as the sim was faulty. I can not believe that a company as big as Cell C have the nerf to question my integrity as from my side I have tried to cancel this and requested a pay back.
Your services is so pour and I will not recommend C CELL to any one I will also log a complaint on Hellopieter that is for sure.

I had 3 contracts with CellC (Fibre, iPhone and data line) and on the 5th July 2019, I called the CFibre customer care to cancel my fibre line contract but CellC customer representative deactivated all my lines including iPhone and data line.

It took your fibre contact centre 14 days to resolve this issue and during that period I had to run around doing banking and I lost a lot of business as I'm in sales business and my cellphone is used to run campaigns.
I have been offered R250 as a goodwill compensation and this sounds like an insult to me considering the inconvenience that has been caused by your negligence and I have been asking your representatives to give me the contacts for complaints department as I'm totally not happy about this and I don't get a straight answer but instead I'm being pressured to take this so called final offer.

I done a Upgrade telephonicaly In June, The agent confirmed i would receive 300 minutes, 2 GB of Data, and Sms, on the 19 July, my upgrade date, I received an SMS, Stating on a different package.

Cell C is one of the worst cellular network crooks i have ever come accross.I bought airtime and data and within that same day all my airtime is used up.When iI call the idiots they tell m e it shows that i was on the internet but the isiots cannot tell me whci sites i have been on. I am tired of cell c ripping us off with data and airtime.I have spent over R300 on airtime and data for them to just take it like that.I want all my airtime refunded that i have purchased for this month.I am not a stupid consumer where I will be told maybe my apps are running in the back ground. I have ensured that thare are no apps running in the background that I am not subscribed to any WASP services, that i do not send any sms to premium-rated numbers, have not done Airtime transfers that I am not aware of.So I am very curious as to know what [censored] data usage report they are going to send me about me being on the internet.

REFERENCE [protected] I purchased 40mb data from CellC on 17 August 2019. On 1 September I received my usual monthly minutes, messages and data, but the balance of 31mb data which remained on 31 August was not carried forward to September. The data which I bought in August is due to expire on 17 September. I phoned the Call Centre and spoke to an INCOMPETENT agent who logged the complaint. I also emailed CellC regarding the matter and was advised that the query would be resolved within 48 hours. To date, NOTHING HAS BEEN ADVISED TO ME! The customer service is NON-EXSISTANT!

I would like to lodge a complaint against you guys pathetic service. A few weeks ago I did a simple swop on my cellphone number [protected] SIM swop was successful. About 2 weeks after I used the aim to make calls to the customer service center SIM card worked. Today the 05/09/19 I tried to put the aim on and it refused to give me signal. When I contacted the customer service center with another cellc phone I was told that my simcard was permanently deactivated. Now my question to you guys is... How can you guys deactivate a number without proper authority from the client. I am a business man and that cell number is used for my banking. Today I am unable to do my banking as you guys deactivated my number. Who is going to compensate me for the running around to the bank and the time off from my business as I have few staff present today. I am really upset with the pathetic service received. I want my number back and I don't care how you guys do it. You guys have no right to deactivate my number which I purchased.
