contract that was cancelled
My cell c contract came to an end in March 2018. I phoned the call centre and cancelled the contract with cancellations department. The lady informed me that the last debit would go off on 1 April. For the last two months I have been receiving airtime from cell c (which I did not want). I phoned cell c end of May and they informed me that contract is not cancelled. My reference for my complaint is [protected]. The lady Brigid informed me on 8 June that I have to give a months notice and that my contract will end July. I am not happy and I do not want to give cell c another cent. Please can I get assistance with my complaint.

I am in precise the same situation. Contract expired end of March, called in May to cancel, and were told I have to pay 2 more months before the contract will be cancelled by end July. I have 3 contracts with CellC, and I am cancelling all 3 as their services are so POOR! 2 years is enough for me with Cell C thank you!
upgrade! bad service! broken device! no feedback from cell c
I applied for an upgrade 25 may 2018. 26 may 2018 returned the device to the store as it heated up. I was turned away and told to come back the monday 28 may 2018 which i did and returned the device. Was told that it needs to be sent away. I booked the phone in and was advised it will reach jhb thursday 21 may 2018. I called headoffice on the 4th june 2018 and spoke to Gary and was advised that according to their system no device was booked in and that i still had the device he said he will email the store to have it delivered urgently. I called retentions and spoke to siphokazi a manager who advised they will cancel effect 4 july 2018 and that the n1 city store manager should call and update their system. Anele advised they had a problem with ram couriers and the device was returned to the shop. I told the manager anele that i dont care they messed up. He said he will contact his manager darryl or david skylar to confirm if he can cancel and if he cant a new device will be given to me. I gave him until the 5 june 2018 and was then advised he cant cancel nor can replace the device as it needs to be tested. He promised that he will send me rams tracking number but till today i have not heard anything from him. He said i will not be liable for any charges and i will not be charged as i dont have the device and have never used the sim. I complained on hello peter and spoke to moses who promised he will monitor and provide me with feedback but i still have not heard anything. I have call recording and voice recordings of all interactions with cellc and will be taking this matter further. Promises were made and not honoured. Not a single manager can assist. I want to cancel. I dont want anything i just want to cancel according to 2 managers at cell c anele and siphokazi i can cancel this pathetic service!

service and accounts
i have been struggling with cell c for over 2 months to get my accounts sorted. it started when a cell c agent contacted me to do an upgrade on my one line in April, on the same day i phoned back to cancel the upgrade as i did not want to wait 7 days for the device to be delivered, i advised the agent that i will go in store to do the upgrade, they advice me that the cancellation on the contract upgrade will take 48 hr, which i understand, this took 2 weeks to get the upgraded contract back to the way it was supposed to be. Pinicale 600 top up line. the upgrade was done to an open line and i was charged for the date and so forth used, which i understand, but this was not suppose to be an open line, as i said i struggled 2 weeks just for them to change it back to the top up line as there was delays upon delays at the service end which they could never tell me why, every time i phone in a new request it sent in which takes another 48hr, this is unexceptionable, i also requested on numinous times for a manager to call be back which till today has not happened. eventually after the line was fixed i get an account for almost double the contract amount i usually pay, and there excuse is that its a prorated amount for the upgrade that was done, which i cancelled on the same day i did the upgrade, i dont understand how i need to be charged for something i was constantly trying to fix but the fault was on cell c side. i also cancelled 3 contracts on the 12/5/2018, and was told the contract amount for June will only be a prorated amount as the contract is obviously not running a full month, now i get a statement and all the contracts are being charged the full amount? how is this possible if the contracts where cancelled and i was advised the contract will only be charged prorated amount as they are ending on the 12/6/2018, why am i paying the full contract amount if im not using the contract for a full month? this is unacceptable. when i spoke to an agent this morning i was very rudely "helped" with an attitude, and every time i said something she did not agree with she just said uhm uhm... who is this professional service? and again the manger is busy? how is this possible, that there is only 1 manege every time and is always unavailable. i want to know how this will be fixed and when. the way i see it cell c is stealing money
after sale customer service
It disappoints to see how inconsistent companies, who basically holds manoplies in our economy are when it comes to "Treating customers fairly".. I realise that mobile giants promises transparency in their company, yet they fail to deliver..
Incompetent staff
Unhelpful staff
Unfriendly staff
False promises
Unrealistic timelines
The incapability to communicate
And bad after sales services
To name only a few of my personal experiences..
What's truly sad is, as a individual these giants make you feel replaceable and unimportant in their gigantic pool of a customer base..
I will never do any business with CellC again as they in my opinion strive to disappoint without remorse or consequence..
The CellC in Mooirivier Mall - Potchefstroom grately contributed to the overall bad experience..
CellC's slogan might read "Connect your way", but that wide range of possibilities most definitely does not include connecting with respect, reasonable timelines, good communication or going the extra mile..

Cancellation of contract
Good day
I have tried canceling contract for [protected] many many times.
I was told to call today the 1June in order to be assisted.
I called numerous times! Only to be out back on hold several times till eventually the contact center closed after 5pm.
Glocell does this deliberately so that we have no choice but to continue with them, please help!
I want this contract cancelled.

cell c fibre
Hi
I signed up for Cell C Fibre last year 1 April 2017, where I was told that the charges for my free router and installation will be inclusive in my monthly charge for a year. This was not the case I am now told this router and installation charge is paid over 2 years. This was totally misleading on the agents part and I would like this followed up.

My second complaint is that I am now being over billed for my C- fiber contract. There was an offer with my fibre contract that entailed I would receive a sim card with 1gb of data for 12 months. That sim card should have cancelled after the 12 months but I am still being billed on a pay as you go basis for the sim card. This has drastically inflated my fibre subscription from 849p/m to 939p/m. I have called in many times to have this sorted out but it has continued.
I have also called in to CANCEL my fibre contract but this has not been done. Please help.

sim swap
I called the cell C customer service on 30 May 2018 for a sim swap where i was asked what happpend to my previous sim card. When i alerted that my cellphone was stolen i was then asked questions like "what were the last two dialed numbers and what was the most dialed number?"
Logically i don't see how that makes sense when the numbers used were stored on my stolen phone. What normal person knows every number they dial off by heart? Is this not the purpose of having a contacts list on your phone?
It is disgusting that even after having my sim card registered according to RICA i still have to be asked stupid questions. at the end of the day i am a customer who has been loyal t the brand however it is an issue to retrieve my number.

debit order for cell c contract cancelled
I contacted Cell C on the 4th of April 2018 to inform them that I am cancelling my contract/s with them. They then also sent me a confirmation SMS to inform me that my request has been received and that my contract/s will be terminated on the 4th of May 2018.
I then got debited again for an amount of R564-08 on the 25th of May 2018 on contract/s
- Firstly that was cancelled more than a month ago
- Secondly on contracts who's sim cards was entirely removed from the air.
- Thirdly after the customer care agent explicitly told me that my last debit order will go
of on the 25th of April 2018
I have sent Cell a email to inform them of it and have not received any feedback from them yet.

Cancel contract account number: ap-0002551
I am very disappointed in the service I received at the Cell C Store @ The Bridge.
I have been given a Nokia 8 and wanted to put new SIM card into phone.
I was informed that I cannot do that at the Cell C store because I went through Glo-cell. Thursday 24 May
They have no office in Port Elizabeth and no contact email or phone number (that ever gets answered
I find it difficult to believe that I cannot get a new SIM with a Cell C number @ a Cell C store.
I would like to cancel my contract (with no penalty) and move to Vodacom because my sister has a contract for 2 phones there and because of the atrocious service I have endured since Glocell took over Autopage/Alcatech/ Cell C.
I would like to retain my number because I have been with cell c for many years but I cannot continue a contract that has no service provider in Port Elizabeth.
My contract ends 21st November 2018
In addition we received upgrade phones Samsung J1 which is by far the worst phone I have ever used and have been unable to contact anyone to help.
The customer service email address does not exist and the number and email Ndimphiwe. [protected]@Glocell.co.za +27 10 786 0254I was given to call does not exist.
Please advise.
repair charged
I would like to know why I need to pay for my repair to my S6 ref ECPOR261800? Also would like to see the page I "signed" saying it was damaged/scratched etc. As this scratching etc was the reason I was told they will not repair it. And even if there was scratches or damage why do I need to pay when that isn't even the reason it isn't working. Unless u can prove that. Which I doubt repair centre can. So this also means that no one will ever be able to these repair as most ppl have those damages.

cell c harassment
Hi
At least twice a week I receive a call, either on my work phone number, or my cell number from Cell C. Despite constantly requesting that I get removed from the Cell C calls lists permanently, this has still not happened. Today when I asked to speak to someone more senior, they hung up on me.
I would like to know what else I can do to get these people to leave me alone?

citrus tablet
I have upgraded all my contracts to the Citrus tablets that was on offer. Currently all 3 tablets are lying in drawers as I cannot use it. It freezes randomly and then starts vibrating and does not stop. I have done 3 factory resets and looses all information on it. I took one for my daughter as well as she is currently at university and needed it to store her work, but had to buy a laptop instead.
My contract numbers are [protected], [protected] and [protected] that these tablets are upgraded on.
I cannot cancel the contracts as it is too new.
Is there any solution?

repairs to hurricane blast tablet
We handed in my Hurricane Blast for repairs at Ackermans on the 9th May 2018. We were informed by Cell C repairs department that our warranty has expired. My tax invoice indicate that I have a 24 month manufacturer warranty. I purchased the tablet on the 12th April 2017. The Cell C repair department said that I must take this up with Ackermans because they only have a 12 month warranty.
contract breach/moneys paid but no start of service
We decided to switch over from one fibre service provider to CellC Fibre. It took more than 2 months to change over the configuration after we signed the contract. And when that was sorted out, we were billed for a month we didn't even have service yet. We were also promised one month free and we didn't get that. So now both ladies we had contact with just disappeared. I can't get hold of either one, the numbers don't exist anymore.
I can't get hold of anyone that can help me and everyone that sent a mail is just not replying.

unhappy with your consultant service - simphiwe
A consultant at Cell C South Africa with a name Simphiwe is pathetic to say the least. On the 20/05/2018 at about 11 h 37. I spoke to him requesting him to load data on my account Cell No. [protected] . Simphiwe was so irritated with me when i was trying to understand the process, nevertheless I continued asking questions since I wanted to understand more. He spoke to me as if he was speaking to some stupid old lady, I guess, because he saw my ID number and he could pick up that I am black, he immediately came to a conclusion that he is much better and clever than I am, hence I will never understand him but just accept what he is saying.
Amazingly when I started telling him how unhappy I am with his service he just kept quite without putting the phone down thus making sure that I do not rate his service, i also waited to rate the services in vain .
Since I did not get his name, I called back immediately and spoke to Silindile who gave me his name. I can tell Silindile was very professional.
Well, my desirable solution from this, is a call from Cell C. Management need to listen to the recording and send it to me as I am intending using if going forward should this not be resolved timely. I also need to find out at which stage did our conversation stopped recording.
I asked him for the reference number, he said its a date and time, that's all.
Well the date was 20/05/18 Time 11H37
Kind regards
Busisiwe Khuzwayo-Smith
