To whom it may concern,
I recently took up a laptop contract with you guys with an agent names Lwazi Nguqu.
On the initial sales call I asked Lwazi if the laptop came with a laptop bag and he assured me it did. It was one of the requirements for taking the laptop, was the fact that it came with a bag to house the appliance in.
He then called me a few days later asking for my 3 months bank statement and copy of my ID which I gave him immediately. I emailed it to his email address at Cell C.
I then waited 10 working days for feedback regarding my order and heard nothing. After the 10 days I called in asking what's happening with my order only to find out that my order was not processed due to Lwazi not receiving the requested documents.
I then called Lwazi and was advised that there was a problem with him email address and that he would fast track my order this time as to make up for the error on his part. On the 2nd call I again asked Lwazi if the laptop came with a laptop bag and he assured me that it did.
My order was then processed the 2nd time around and I received it within a few days. Imagine my surprise when the laptop came without a bag. I called Lwazi immediately again and asked where the bag was as that was a requirement for taking the laptop and he advised me that he was looking into it and would get back to me. We have had a lot of back and forth but still no bag.
Its been over 2 weeks since he emailed me and said that he would get back to me and I'm still waiting for him to get back to me.
I am extremely upset as I feel I am being given the run around and I want what I asked for. I am laying a formal complaint and want this resolved or I am not going to pay for the appliance! I have been employed at an international call centre for the past 18yrs so I know my way around complaints and the Ombudsman.
I will take it up that far if I have to. I expect a reply to my email in the next day or so.
