Rica moving number to prepaid
On the 2nd of march i sent an email to cellc to inform them about the passing of my mother who had a contract with cell c, the contract was in her name but the number was used by me has she took the phone for me while i was still at school, i have asked cell c to move the number to prepaid so i can still keep the number, i have been calling and it seems NO ONE in that department has any idea on what to do next, i was told to get a new sim card and rica it, they told me to give in the new SERIAL number and the line would be open.
i did that but they keep telling me to resend the documents and wait for them to give me a call.
i have a huge problem becasue now i am unable to make any calls or anything

The amount on my statement keep increasing
I bought Huawei P20 in 2018 and I was all happy about the service the phone I got from Cell C, but now I'm not happy about the service at all, disgusting service I will not recommend to anyone . Since 2018 June when I needed to check my account and make queries about my statement of account everything was in order and after some few months I decided to increase my monthly fee to R390 instate of R299 the balance on my contract kept increasing and I made follow ups about it and my account was sorted out.
First of December 2019 my statement balance was R1499.75 and on the 27 of December an amount of 390 was deducted on my Absa account, first of January my statement was R1249.79 instate of R1109.75, I tried calling Cell C to enquirer about that and never got any help they kept telling me that I don't get security checks right but those security checks I was answering all along and I got them right. I'm really disgusted about the service because I can't get any help but I get calls from Cell C wanting to give me upgrade I do not want.This month I'm supposed to end my contract with Cell C but they say I owe them R749.87 which I do not know where is coming from .

My mother passed away and I went to Cell C Bluff in Durban to cancel her contract. I took her ID and Death Certificate and was told the process would take 24 hours. Well, I got no response so I went back and was then told it takes 48 hours. It is now almost a week and still no response. Disgusting service I will never recommend them to anyone.

Refusal to upgrade
I have a current and active line with cellc and was due for upgrade in December 2019. I called the call centre and did the whole process. Phone was to be delivered. Few days later i called to follow up only to be told it was declined due to an account in legal which is the first i heard about this. Never the less i paid the 800 plus owing and tried again. I get told again there is still a legal status on my name and get told about another account which is over 2500? I have been a cell c client for years, i have an active account and not once have i heard about this other account. Never the less this is from 2015 and we are now in 2020 so debt has prescribed but cellc is refusing to remove the status so i am unable to upgrade an account i pay for every single month. Went from pillar to post to sort this out and still no joy as i was told by a consultant the status will remain forever. Firstly cellc does not know the law as this debt is very old and has nothing to do with my current line which i am trying to upgrade. I have even consulted a lawyer who advised that this debt has prescribed as well. Yet cell c is refusing to remove this. How did i get an upgrade 2yrs ago if there was accounts outstanding. The old accounts has nothing to do with my current line but cellc is refusing to understand this. Staff are incompetent and cannot assist and do not know what they are doing. I actually want to cancel my contract and find a better service provider and that includes my whole family as well...then cellc can go bankcrupt as they will lose many customerd because of their incompetence. I have asked consultants for a managers contact details and they blatantly ignored my request. I would like this legal status removed immediately as it has nothing to do with my current account and the debt has prescribed. It seems cell c only wants to get money out of customers.

Terrible service
Cell c has been stealing money from me in 2017 there was fraud in my account and they couldn't debit it was resolved and they continues debuting my account without but I didn't get airtime or data from them as per contract agreement in June 2019 I went to cell c Bedfordview to get answered about my issue I was told it's too late they won't credit me where was I all this time basically they took my money for nothing and they won't do anything about it I requested they cancel my account they didn't and I changed bank accounts they couldn't get money from me anymore. Now they handed my account over and when I call them their agents are rude and defensive no one is willing to listen to my problem I've sent hello Peter complaints I'm ignored I sent emails to their detentions department I'm ignored I don't know what to do anymore my number [protected] contract number with cell c [protected]

I have 3 contracts with Cell all due to expire this year but at different months. From January this year i have been inudated with calls from your call centre and i have been telling them all contracts need to be cancelled, however instead of cancelling they continue to call me and make all different offers which is I am not interested in. Today called in to cancel the contracts ...today is the 4th March .. i was told by Clive from cancellations dept that they will only be cancelled at the end of April and tha that i will still be debited at the end of april... my question arises from the 4th March to 30th April is that 30 days?
when we sigining up contracts we dont wait 3 days do we?
This is one of the reasons why i wont deal with you people ...rude incomptetent staff ...

Fraud claim
Good Day
Please note that R200 was deducted from my Standard Bank account in December. I reversed this transaction as I have no contracts with Cell C.
Today I have applied for an overdraft with Standard Bank however as there was this activity on my account I need Cell C to take this up as I cannot apply for anything on my Standard Bank account. The South African Fraud department have noted to Standard Bank that Cell C need to sort this out as it was their activity.
I have been given 2 numbers which no one is answering and I need this resolved in the next 24 hours.
I would appreciate your prompt reply on this as this is affecting me and it was Cell C who deducted the money without my knowledge until it had come out of my account.
I would like this to be dealt with as a matter of urgency.

Fraudulent Contract
Good day
On the 31 January a transaction of R400 went off on my account, it was from Cell C. I then went to the nearest store to inquire what the transaction was all about. i was told that my details were used to take out two cellphone contracts at a cell c store by a consultant named Hendrick Sello. I then contacted cell c support so that they can assist me. I gave them all the details they requested, but till this day the issue has not been resolved, today another transaction of R1300 went off from Cell C.
I am therefore thinking that opening a fraud case with the police would assist me and taking further legal actions such as defamation of character and suing the company as this is damaging my credit report.

Cell C Insurance
I had a very bad experience with the cell c device insurance. My claim was made on the 30th January 2020. The service received was extremely bad I have to constantly call for updates and the agents are rude and not helpful. I was informed that a replacement device was ordered on the 18th February 2020 and delivery to my selected store would take up to 7 working days. I was told to wait for a tracking number and follow up today. This morning at 09:00 agents by the name of Lehlohonolo and Lindiwe refused to transfer my call to their team leader and hung up on me on both occasions. I requested telephone recordings of the conversations to lay a formal complaint and still haven't received any feedback. The 7 days waiting period has passed and I still have NO device.

Good day, i am discussed with the service i am receiving from cell c at this moment.
Lets start from the beginning, last year the 23rd of October 2019 i booked my Huawei mate 20 lite in to repair my screen, i still have not received my phone back.
After going back and forth with emails and phone calls i received an email on the 3rd of February 2020 that my claim has been approved by the claims department and will go into repairs now and that it will take another 7-14 working days for the repairs.
I phoned cell c repairs today(25 February 2020) to find out whats going on with the repair of my phone, the lady from cell c repair said that the system or status of approval was only given this morning and that it will take another 5-7 working days before my phone will be done.
It has been 4 to 5 months that i have not had my phone and keep on paying for the device, i have more than one contract with cell c and think that this is unacceptable.

I took a contract with cell C in 2005/2006 and I also had full insurance, I've claimed twice with the insurance already in 2006, unfortunately my company closed in 2008 and I notified cell C upon which I was advised to send through my documents and it would be covered under insurance and that I did. Last year 2019 I discovered that I could not qualify for a cellphone contract.I called cell C and was told I owe +R2000 and I never had insurance, how did I claim twice if I didn't have insurance.As a consumer this is bridge of contract and unfair practice. I have asked a simple question, made it clear what I require and it was said that my request should not be a problem and that the person who assisted me would be able to help me. sim swap
Hi i am John Macwili cell no [protected] and my email address is john.[protected]@gmail.com i was using cell c for the past 5 years and now i lost my phone on monday the 3rd February 2020. i have been calling cell c customer care for several times without success. the consultants there looks they do not know what they doing let alone the cell c outlet in Randburg Square the guys there did not want to help me at all as i went there 3 times without being helped. Reason they say the sim card is not registered under my name though i was using it for more than 5 years. if you call the customer care they will tell you that you failed the security questions they cant help you . you are my last hope i want to use my no as i have been using this no for years and now it looks like i will not be able to use it again. Cell c service in general is disgusting, i was told to go to any Police Station to do an affidavit and take it to any cell c outlet so they can help me, to my surprise when i got there i was told that they dont accept any affidavits . so its back and forth please help me.

Fraudulent account
My name is Reginah ID no [protected]. My email address is [protected]@gmail.com. I made request on my credit report. When I got the report it shows that I opened 2 contracts with glocell pty ltd 2018 0ctober of which is not true. I called last year November after finding out and the person I spoke to confirmed that it was a fraudulent account and they will clear my name within 21 days till today they haven't resolved my problem and I can't open any account now since I'm blacklisted. Can someone please help me where I can report this company.

2 - Was the debit order reduced because there was no activity on the sim?
If not

I have paid up my cellc contract, but now it seems that it appears on my credit report, I requested a paid up letter on monday 27th of jan, and today I phone as I have not recieved it, just to find out that my request was not done and it has to be done again, and I have to wait another 48 hours, and I really need the paid up letter as in today.

Good day,
I have downloaded the Cell C app on my phone.
And something has been bothering me. I have bought airtime and data
On the App as advertised on the 30 day Double up.
Your App specifies Nite Data. My normal data is being used after 19hoo in the evening, as that was what it was previously.
I would expect Nite date to be from 19h00(In the evening -06h00(morning)
Which is a total of 11 Hours to spend on Nite data.
So what it comes down to is that most months my 30 day Nite day expires without being used. And my normal date has been used up.
Please reimburse for expenses incurred on Cell C App.

paid up letter
My is bafana mlambo and I used to have a contract with cell c.
When my initial contract ended I wanted to cancel with them they offered me some contract for airtime and data then I lost my sim card and they failed to assist me with sim swap as I could not remember the people I called.
I just want my paid up letter so that I can purchase a property because apparently I was blacklisted by you guys and this hinders my progress.

faulty laptop
8 days later and after numerous follow ups my laptop still has not been collected. Received a faulty laptop on contract 2019 June. My warranty with hp has apparently expired leaving me with no option but to unfortunately refer the laptop back to cell c. Every follow up is the same feedback, 'i will escalate with the courier company'. Spoke to an apparent manager by they name of Bongani who is as useless as the call centre consultants. I will no longer make a single payment to cell c until that laptop is collected and repaired accordingly.
