I cancelled my contract with cell c on the 18th of march, paid the committed amount of R3424.49 and called cell c a couple of times after paying that amount to find out if there's anything I owe because I knew that I had a missing installment but I was told that I don't owe anything.
On the 25th of April, Cell c tried to debit R3423.39 from my account, which was an amount that was not supposed to be debited since I had already paid that amount in full. When I laid a query about that, I was then told that I owe an amount of R762.68, I paid that amount on Monday 8 may, and then requested a paid up letter that same day since I paid all the amount I owed and also need to apply for credit but I can't since cell c tried to debit a huge amount from my account and also placed my account as "in arrears" on the credit bureau. I have not received the letter till today, when I was told that it's going to take two working days. My life is on hold right now since Cell c does not want to provide me with that letter. I logged countless requests for the letter yet I receive no response whatsoever from Cell c.

I'm tired of calling cell c all the time and my call would be transferred to one person to the other, asking for my paid up letter. All they could tell me is that I'll receive it within 7 working hours till I haven't received my paid up letter. When I check on my clear score it says I owe cell c R384 and my contract with cell c got expired, I've also canceled it. Their service is very, very bad. I want my paid up letter

Im johanna from bochum im currently having the same situation iv paid what they said i owe them i emailed them proof of payment, they dont want to talk to me anymore i failed to apply for credit at the bank because of them. I had enough of cell c. I went to the branch the lady shame tried her best to assist but nothing happened. Even now im still waiting in darkness psew im helpless cell c. Paid up letter, they even drop the phones. All i need is a paid up letter or ill follow the legal route maybe they can open their ears.

Dont waste your time with Cell C, this people are dirty to the core , heres my story
Had 2 contracts with them , due to covid hit in 2020 iwas retranched at work , I went to the branch to inform them about the Metter n I told them once I get the covid relief fund I'll settle my account only to find out the money wasn't enough for a settlement, well I got an account at wesbank they understood n they never came to take my vehicle , I got a home loan , they never came to take it off nor judgements fokol cell c told me they will hand over my account since then nobody called nor email came through fast forward I got back to work this year I then went to them to tell them I'm back at work i wanna settle my account I was told the account doesn't exist anymore n it has been prescribed, and the law says if an account has been prescribed it must be taken off from your credit profile but instead they putted me under defaults ...I was advised to dispute this , iwouldnt wish someone to go through this ...

I am a very unhappy cellc customer. Firstly you guys are bad in Ur service because no one can help me with my queries. You don't deduct on time which makes me go in to an arrears that I'm not even aware of because u failed to communicate...secondly I'm waiting on a paid up letter from u guys for more then 3months nd no one's getting back to me about it...I've called TransUnion over 4times still no response whatsoever.
On 2021 I paid up the balance that in was owing but cell c didn't send me paid up letter I tried to text them on WhatsApp they not replying to my messages
