Church's Chicken service and food

Went to Church's Chicken on Wed. around 8pm.
The young lady took my order, took my money, walking away as she chewed gum, . I order the shrimp and fries with tea for $4.99. Well, I received 10 shrimps (tasted like chicken )the size of a dime, fries cold and old, along with peices of okra in fries which I did not order. Very disappointed. Food did not look like the picture that was present in store. Why pay for food that's not worth it. I know prices going up, but give me what I pay for.

I ordered two 3pc and small cajun rice and i guess i got confused with other stuff that comes with the side so when the woman repeated the order and the price and she actually order the wrong stuff and price was a lot more than normal so I said that's not the right stuff. then she started to rolling her eyes, snapping her fingers and loud with me!...

Church's Chicken varied

First time I visited this place. Stopped 10 minutes before walk-in closed, tried to go inside so I could check the menu out. Doors locked, manager waves us to drive-thru. Attempted to to order the 7.99 special on the windows, and was subjected to a series of questions about white/dark meat. Finally drove thru, and was charged $3 extra. When I asked why, it was another white/dark meat controversy. Said "FORGET IT. Just give me what's advertised" Was then told they didn't have it. All they had was what they were giving us. (So WHY did they put me thru that hell?) Since it was only attitude I was receiving, asked for corporate #. Upon calling, my call was dropped twice, and the last person I spoke to had a bigger attitude than the original people I was complaining about!

I will never patronize this establishment again, and as this was my first attempt, I pity all who do.

Church's Chicken rude, didn't accept coupons and would not fix the cob the way I wanted

I had received coupons from your store and the person taking order said they didn't carry the bone-in wings. My uncle wanted a COB with lettuce and tomatoes the come back was we don't serve them that way. I asked for corp. phone # and she gave me [protected] store #. I told her i didn't want store # i wanted to talk to someone else. She said the store takes care of their own. it wasn't just the wing issue i changed my order to chicken strips combo and teol her i had a $1.oo off any combo meal she said its not good for that. i did purchase the COB for uncle but i didn't get anything from there.

I AGREE WE ARE NEVER GOING BACK. THEY RAISE THEIR PRICES AND THE MENU THAT SAYS VALUE DEAL NEVER IS. IF THE MENU PRICE SAYS 10 PIECES FOR 9.99 PLUS TAX. THEY SHOULD HONOR IT. WE RECEIVED 7 PIECES FOR THAT PRICE. WHEN I QUESTIONS ABOUT THE DIFFERANCE THE MANAGER SAID, " WE CAN CHANGE OUR PRICES". I SAY WHY DOES IT SAY ONE PRICE AND AFTER I ORDER THEY CHEAT ME OUT OF 3 PIECES. IT IS NOT RIGHT. I WILL GO TO KENTUCKY FRIED CHICHEN, AT LEAST THEY WILL MAKE GOOD THEIR MENU PRICE.

Church's Chicken service

The woman at the drive thru (8/5/2011 12pm) was very unfriendly, we waited in the drive thru for 12 minutes without being told it would take that long. We finally got our food.. Then was charged.54 cents for ranch, if there is to be a charge on condiments it should at least be posted on the window as a courtesy. I got home and opened my southern chicken sandwich, it was burnt black. I went back to get my money refunded to me, there were no apologies or any compensation whatsoever. I will never eat churches chicken in el centro again.

Church's Chicken poor health practices

On 11/18/10 at aroumd 9:00 -9:30pm i stoped at Churches chicken store#775 in Tulsa Ok. After placing my order at the drive thru window i had to pull around front and wait for my food, not a problem but what i witnessed while waiting was flat out wrong. First a female worker put a ciggeret in her mouth while in the kitchen, then a male worker comes in the kitchenwith a lit ciggerate in his mouth! As if this was not enough another worker who came outside to confirm my order because the person who took my order walked off went back inside to box up my food without washing her hands! I am a cook by trade and to see something like that going on in a restaurant is a embarrassment! Please some one do something about this kind of behavior!

Church's Chicken poor quality of food

Drive thru orders are worng most of the time. I went by today and I ordered one of my favorite side orders, "Jalapeño Bombers". To my surprise, I got two of the bombers burnt, what a disatisfaction!
Instead of enjoying my meal, I got so disappointed. Aviously I went back, this time I got down and went inside. The employee kinda knew right away that I was there to complain of someting. Employee did not say a word nor apologized for the inconvenience, all he did was give me some more bombers and dumped the others in the trash.
Little do they know that customer satisfaction is a must. I give Church's Chicken an "F". What a shame! This restaurant need to comitt to better service and better customer service. By the way, this is not the first time, last time I got a biscuit burt, cold hard fries too. Then employee make faces at you, instead of giving you good quality food in the first place.

Church's Chicken store manager

i have been their several times. Its a weekly stop so i got to know the managers. Plus i like the cashiers so i'm their quite often. When i see the store manager outside sitting in her car smoking weed or either in the back behind the dumpster smoking weed. Believe me when i tell you and she does it with another employee. i know this cause i pulled up 2 cars away and was walking to the churchs and i smelled it several times. Then i was trying to catch the drive thru one night and i was waiting to give my order when i saw them walk back there. Then as i was pulling to the window you can smell it strong but i couldnt see them because they was behind the dumpster. Also she steals money from the owner because shes cool with a lady and she tell her alot of thieving events for example she would get the dinner meals and ring up then delete it later and take the money especially if they pay exact change. she has other tricks but she would put it out like the cashiers was stealing and it her thats how she stay in good with the owners. That store manager is no good.Last year she was telling the employees mr.and mrs.G was paying for her x-mas this year and they dont even know it It was a joke to her. If everyone told the owners the truth about how she be steals They can get someone trusting to be in there to manage. I

well the new spicier chicken is a fake. its nothing new about it. Its the same old spicy chicken i know since i work there . thats wrong

I came into the belton store today and was not satisfied at all. I bought the 16 pc chicken dinner. When the order was done, I asked where the Ice tea was that I was informed came with the meal. This other employee said "no, it doesnt come with the dinner" and he informed me that they were out of it. I chose 3 sides, but was informed they were out of one side, so I had to pick something else. I chose corn on the cob, and got 2. The other side I ordered was mashed potatoes with extra gravy. I get home to discover I didnt get the mashed pototoes at all. The "extra gravy" I paid for was in a very small container that was only about 1/4 full. It was ridiculous as other customers also thought when I went back & complained. They give me the mashed potatoes & extra gravy that was full this time. I leave & get home & as we opened the chicken to finally eat, there wasnt even 1 chicken breast in this 16 pc chicken, and there was only 13 pc instead of 16. I paid $32.56 & wasnt happy or satisfied. Even after returning to the store unhappy, they did nothing to make it right.

Church's Chicken long wait & bad customer service

I visited the Church's Chicken on S. Keystone and waited 48 mins for my order to get done. We were in town for the Indiana High School Boys State Basketball Championship game & to visit friends in the area. We were almost late for the game waiting for Dee-in a blue shirt to get our order done. We ordered the 15 piece family dinner with 3 sides (rice, mashed potatoes, & okra), plus 8 bombers, biscuits and extra napkins, hot sauce & plates. We wanted the chicken half regular & half spicy. Dee said it would take 15 mins for the spicy to get done since they just put a batch down to be fried. 15 mins went by & I asked about the order & she had the nerve to say it was going to take another 20 mins. Meanwhile she was frying up several trays of regular chicken and we waited another 20 mins making it 35 mins. Never did any of the staff including Blue shirt Dee say I'm sorry it's taking so long or it will be a while longer or offer a complimentary drink or pie or nothing. When I asked about the order again, Dee got real nasty & started talking loud. I was not going to go down to her level but I let her know what I thought. I felt very dissatisfied with what happened & asked for our money back (close to $30). After another 10 mins past a gentleman from the back came out and asked if we wanted our order or our money since the spicy chicken still wasn't done. We took the order but since the fixed the sides & bombers earlier they were cold by the time we got them plus we had to eat all regular chicken. A simple explaination from Blue shirt Dee, who I assumed was the supervisor would have done alot. I probably won't visit that place again. We live where there are no Church's Chicken & enjoy buying some when we are near one. It is sad that you can't get what you order when you spend hard earned money. No one said sorry except the gentleman who finally gave us our order. I am very disappointed in Church's Chicken.

i agree with that because some of the employee are rude and somethings they do not want to make the store better. they feel like that they have better things to do with their time.

I called and got a validation # for my free chicken if I bought a drink and a side. Well the cashier said "you only have 7 days after they give you that #. Firt of all, she doesn't know when I got the #, 2nd of all, the recordings doesn't say you only have 7 days. I was so upset!!! What's the point in giving validation numbers if they aren't honored??????

Church's Chicken rude employee/manager

I had went into church's chicken and ordered food I was not happy with my order so I wanted something different and the manager said since it was already made I could not change my order or get a refund and I said if a customer is unsatified with the product you have to exchange their food or refund them their money and he would not do it, also I paid by debit/credit card and didnt recieve a reciept. I asked the manager can I get a corporart number or someone above him and he gave me the store number. My experience was horrible I made a complaint on their website and have not gotten any responses.

Was there something wrong with the original order, or did you just not like the food? Not every fast food place has a satisfaction guarentee, so the manager may have been correct. Don't get me wrong, he should not have been rude and should have done the right thing if the order was wrong or if the food was undercooked.

Church's Chicken debris in my drink

Saturday night I stopped to get something to eat on the way home, it took forever to get to the mic to place my order, then I had to repeat it 4-5 times get to the window she immediately asked for payment gave her my card. After about 5 min I still didnt have my card back so I tapped on the window to ask for my card. A different cashier had it (why?) but not my reciept. Get my food 7 min later. Get home get the kids settled with their food sit down to eat mine, halfway through I open the drink take a sip and feel something in my mouth I spit it out, looked in my cup and there is this clump of debris (no idea what it was) floating in my drink and under the ice in the cup. I gagged and had to run to the bathroom. I took the drink back to them showed it to the lady who insisted she was the manager her response was "I suppose you want another tea." I told her no but I would take another order of my chicken which was feeding the algae at the treatment plant now. She sighed and rolled her eyes but gave it to me and gave me my money back for the drink. I stepped back to the back of the line to order some potatoes which on of my kids had just called and asked me for. I am not tall and there was a bunch of people in front of me so she begins talking about me saying I probably put that in there, I was just trying to get my money back on the whole order(which I never even suggested), Laughing and making racial comments with one of the customers at the counter( I am not of the popular race in this area) I stepped from behind the gentleman in front of me and proceeded to tell her that was a bunch of crap I had no need to do such a thing and that it would have been a waste of my time to do so. But that after having been her drive thru for over 10 min I should be able to enjoy my meal. She was still commenting that I should have just dumped it out and that I just put it in there. I left but this store is a disgrace to any churchs chicken.

Church's Chicken damyankees

I grew up in San Antonio, where Church's was founded, and have remained a loyal customer for about 60 years. While I am pleased to be able to order it even in the Puebla Mexico bus station, the damyankees who run the place now have a lot of gall to market it under the corporate banner of Texas Chicken.

I only grumbled when they discontinued the pineapple fried pies a generation ago. Now my local Church's says the main office has discontinued the honey packets. How un-Texan! No honey with my fried chicken! The fried okra isn't on the menu anymore but it is still served here and people behind me have ordered it after seeing me get it. The chicken is getting pricier too. I may have to abandon Church's for Pollo Campero and, honestly, Pollo Loco is already getting more of my business.

Well, I can still order in Spanish and that gratifies my South Texas soul. (Take that!... you racist, mean-spirited poster above.) But if the okra goes, so do I... for good.

Church's Chicken rude/ignorant/drive through service? no service!!

At 4:40 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010 I pulled into the drive through to order
food at Church's Chicken, located at 7900 S. Damen, Chicago, IL. I waited to place my order at the menu/mic at 4:50 p.m. and At 4:58 p.m. and NO one acknowledged me or answered as I said H E L L O ? I drove around the window and sat at the window until 5:09 p.m. as Two black females waited on one customer inside. They looked at me as if I was not there and had the most I don'T Give A F---k look. Finally another black female came to the window I'll call her number THREE and took my order. Not only did they not have what I wanted to order ready, there was no I'm sorry, or NOTHING> JUST DUMB, NO CLASS, GIVE A CARE PEOPLE. I hope the are fired, and have to walk the street looking for another job. I believe they have the level of maturity of Fifth Graders.

Whoever own's this Church's Chicken need's to come in and clean house. Better yet,
CLOSE. We don't need a business in our community like this one.
p.s. I should have followed my first mind, I rarely purchase anything from this location, I
KNOW BETTER!

Church's Chicken poor service

This is a newly opened Churches Chicken, and the only one I know of in McDonough, on Highway 81. I have patronized this place 3 times, the first time I only received about 1/2 my order, the second time, afer using the drive-thru and waiting about 5 minutes I was aked to please wait and they would get back with me. About 5 minutes later out of anger I left, but as I drove by the place I saw that no customers were in the place and 2 workers were standing behind the counter, one was on his cell phone and a young girl was just standing there as if in a trance. Today I went back and this time went inside. And was the only customer. I placed my order, had to wait about 10 minutes for the fries to cook, and finally left, only to discover that 2 orders of cole slaw was missing. This restaurant employs only blacks, and I feel that their service is intentional to keep whites away. If that is truly their plan t has worked, for I shall never go there again.

Church's Chicken service/food

Waited ten minutes in lobby before being acknowledged, then another ten before my order was taking. The young lady who finally waited on me wasn't helpful in placing my order value wise after stating to her what I wanted. Then had to wait on some food to get cooked. She packaged teh rest and bagged it. so it waas cold. THen she was so worried about making it she put extras in bag but left half of orginal order out. She spoke in slang. We went to go sit and wait for food at a table but not a clean one in the dining room. About 15 min. later food was ready. Another manager was wondering around I assume trying to close day out and didn't offer any help. Experiance was just horrible.

my mother and i where at the churches chicken store # 1060 on 4/18/12 at 8:48 pm. order number 23279 cashier was amber. first off the store had a aweful odor that was a sour smell with trash smell. looked around and seen the trash was full in back where they cook the food.. then they didnt have no corn and chicken cooked. we had to wait 20 minutes for are food. then we get home and we are missing the mashed pototoes have the bombers and chicken we waited for. when i called the cashier amber answered and was very polite and apoligized several times, but the manger wasnt at all nice. then said for us to come get the stuff. we went back and got the rest of the food. amber again when we walked in was very pleasent. and when i called she knew who i was. she said the lady with her mom in the truck. very nice girl.. but the food tasted stale and had a oder to it. so we didnt eat the food. it was dry and the bombers and the ocra was burned. we well not be back to churches chicken again.. i like there food but not after this.. i live in bonne terre mo and was looking so forward to this food to only be dissapointed...

Church's Chicken everything

Let me tell you about a couple of my experiences. Here in Marshall, Texas, the economy sucks pretty bad, so you'd think business owners would go the extra distance, to keep their customers satisfied. not so. I guess these people are so rich, they don't need the money? Awhile back, at about 7pm, my family went to Church's, to get some dinner, & the restaurant's doors, were already locked. no kidding. & the employees were only letting their friends in. I was flabbergasted. On another occasion, my husband & 7 year old daughter were at the gas station, next door, heard a commotion, looked up & saw every Church's employee, customer, & then some, duking it out in the parking lot. People were driving up, jumping out of their cars, & joining in the fun. The cops showed up, but I never heard if they made any arrests. How could they be expected to sort through that mess? Now, my daughter is scared to eat Church's chicken. How's that for a phobia? I guess she doesn't want her lights punched out, or have to fight for her dinner, lol. & even though I'm laughing a little, the chain really needs to check into this store.

no, you get over it You weren't here, & don't know what you're talking about. The only private function they were holding, is the employees decided to close down & go to the house early. & for the record, I was much more worried with the parking lot brawl.

no. there would've been a sign up. also, a guy walked up, & I told him the store was closed, & he said they'd let him in. he walked up, they let him in, & they relocked the doors. no explanation to those of us, outside.

no, the store wasn't closed. it was 7pm on a Friday night, which is not a closed time. & I never said I didn't like the chicken, duhh...that's why we keep trying, lol. & we get out in this town a lot, & although it's pretty laid back, whatever, that's the only mass fight my family has ever witnessed. so no, I don't think that's common behavior. it wasn't an argument...it was a free for all, beat the crap out of each other, punch fest.

I work at the Church's Chicken in Kannapolis and my location has shut down early. It probably wasn't a private function because it wasn't at my location either. Ours shut down on Mother's Day because we ran out of too many things. It has also shut down at 8:30 pm because the team leader wanted to go home. I am happy that we have only had 1 fight in the parking lot since I started there 3 months ago. I am used to fights near me because I have lived in some rough neighborhoods so it didn't really bother me. It was an employee and his ex-girlfriend's current boyfriend. It was interesting but unprofessional and probably not appropriate for kids to be watching since they were chasing eachother around the parking lot with tire irons and other heavy things.

Church's Chicken employee rudeness

I went to the drive thru on 6-03-10 and a girl said "can I help you?" before my car was even stopped or my window down. I asked the two twelve-year old girls with me what they wanted and then said "hello" to make sure the person was still there to take my order. She said " I SAID "can I help you"! very loud and rude. I asked for 6 chicken tenders, she told me the charge and I drove up to the window where I waited at least 15 minutes and she handed me a bag with 6 foil bags in it. I asked if she wrapped the tenders individually and she said "yes". I said " they look like sandwiches" she said they were. I said I asked for tenders. She proceeded to argue with me that she repeated back my order to me and I ordered sandwiches. Then I was told to give back my receipt and debit card and the tenders would be eleven dollars so I asked for two tender meals instead because it would be much less expensive so she refunded my whole order and rudely told me to "have a nice day and that she was not going to give me anything. I will NEVER spend another dime of my money at that Church's chicken or any other. Her name on the receipt was Elizabeth. She actually argued with me much longer and much ruder but you get the picture.
