5-6 weeks ago three people quit at this store, including the managers. Since then there have been three employees who took up the slack and had to start closing the store at 3:00. Your negligence in dealing with this is astounding. Now one of those employees is on vacation. There has been no additional help provided and as far as I can see, no attempt to get any. At $13 an hour, I can't imagine anyone could afford to work there but the fact that you are not supporting the dedicated employees who continue to be abused and still show up does not look good for you. The message being sent is that you don't care. Clearly obvious, because no one seems to know what will be done about it. They were told you were training people at another store, which makes no sense to me.
This is a busy store and you are losing a lot of business.
Today there was a woman shopping with a cart and a cane and the aisles were not clear for her to get through. I could call the fire department and have you sited for blocking egress's and a fire hazard but I don't think closing down the store is the answer. My suggestion is that you get your [censored] together, get someone in that store to help, and pay those dedicated workers a salary that they can live on. Or SOMETHING!
I am in there almost everyday and have started helping clear the aisles for people to get through like the elderly with a cane. Someone falls in there you will SO be Liable.
I really can't stand this Howard is a class act example of the people running Dollar General Rude! Always is! Very belittling!
Carts and pallets are permanent fixtures in a Dollar General they never [censored]ing move them! 🤣
