I went in to purchase a bag of dog food (Heartland farms tender and crunchy beef n bacon bits). There was only one bag and it was open at one of the corners of the bag. This is the only kind of dog food my dog likes. Also this is not the first time this has happened to me. The last time it happened the lady who was checking me out gave me half off the price of the dog food. Today, however, all they did was tape up the bag. I'm not very happy. My name is Cassie Davis. Heartland farms dog food is killing dogs it killed my 3mth old puppy and that's just one of many dogs that have died from this dog food
This brand of dog food or the treats are very very bad I am currently talking to a lawyer cause of what they did to my fur baby this has been on going for over a year because of their treats that are junk in and out of the vet for a year straight and enema after enema they messed her gastrointestinal system up now because of these assorted dog biscuits my poor baby has to be on medicine for life and special food ! I do not know how to contact these ppl or I would ! Remove these treats and dog food it's killing

I just bought my puppy heartland farms savory chicken for pups and Cock roaches came out ! Now I'm freaking a bit! That bag is going in the dumpster right now at a gas station far from my house
I bought my dog a 31 lb bag of Heartland Farms Grilled Favorites beef, chicken, and cheese. Since the first time I fed it to her she's been extremely gassy, has lost weight, and for the last several days has started throwing up every time she eats it. I thought it was just changing her food, but now I've got my doubts. I now am having to figure out how I'm gonna be able to afford to buy her something different as I'm just getting out of an abusive relationship, starting out in a new place, and spent the rest of what I had to make sure no matter what happens she would be able to eat. Now what?!?!
River Run is an affordable dog food with high nutritional value and I bought it for 25 dollars for 50lb bag.
As a route driver, I always keep a box of doggie biscuits in my van. The treats I bought the other day were the Heartland Farms Glazed biscuits. They were all stuck together probably because of the glaze. Believe it or not, I took a screw driver and hammer and separated all of them.
This is not a big deal...and I'm not trying to get a free box...I'm just not going to get those types of doggie treats anymore. Just carry normal treats. Keep in mine the store across the street is a dollar store and I could have got them for a buck.
Please do not feed this product to anyone's let. This product killed my Hank and several other peoples pets.
This dog food also badly affected my dog and he lost weight. Within a week or two ribs were showing, and backbone. Switched to River Run and rice every other day with food and he gained weight back. I would never buy this again.
I gave my dogs the heartland farms gravy covered biscuits last night before they went to bed. My pitt bull woke up this morning with welts everywhere and completely swollen! My other dog is ok so far...but I will not be buying these again! My poor girl has scratched open her hives and has been bleeding! I had to take her to the vet and pay a $200 vet bill for special meds to get her allergic reaction to stop!

My mom bought this dog food puppy heartland chicken flavor her dog started to throw up everywhere later that night, after that she got so weak she didn't move she laid there life less an the next morning she woke up to her dead under the bed. I don't recommend this dog food it needs to be recall for some kind if dog poisoning food. This company needs to be sued an not to be selling any other dog food products. IT NEEDS TO BE RECALLED OFF OF STORES SHELFS.

Just killed my sisters English bulldog! Within 7 hours
I fed my very healthy 11 year old dog Hank the Heartland Farms dog biscuits/treats. The next morning he had gotten sick all over the house and couldn't keep anything down. We had a vet appointment for him the next morning but sadly he passed away that evening. He was completely fine before having the treats and then passed within 24 hours of eating them.
I called DG and Heartland and could not get any help. If this has happened to anyone else, please comment or email me kimberley.magness@yahoo.com and comment below if you are able to. they can't keep killing and harming our sweet loving healthy dogs.
Fed it to my dog yesterday. A healthy 6 year old English bulldog. She threw up all night and died this morning.

I gave my six year old female fur baby the heartland Farms dog biscuits all of a sudden she started having gastrointestinal issues crying and grunting very loud so we took her to the vet and she is still not right still going to the vet to this day over this brand! I’m not happy at all and people need to be warned over this brand period it is making fur babies sick and even causing death ! Pull it off the shelves ! I filed a complaint on this brand also cause I don’t want anyone going through this horrible agonizing pain watching what I have to watch my put fur baby go through

My granddog has been eating this for better than a year. No problems at all, except when I can't find any and have to buy something else. She really likes this, and it's worse than trying to herd cats than get her to eat anything else!
I watched my one year old pup choke on dg sticks. I'm glad I was able to pull it out of the roof of his mouth!
