Not giving class so many days
Hi, I am facing difficulties with EDI driving center. I took a fixed package but 90% of the money was taken from the customer. EDI doesn’t care about customers, as. Concern-
EDI not giving class
-after several times calling in the call center, they just give me assurance that someone will call, but after 3 weeks later, they didn’t call
-after I complained through the EDI call center, they gave me 2 days of class
-after that, no one called me for class
-more than 7 times I called EDI but after 1 month passed, no one called
-again I complained through EDI but no one responded or gave me feedback-it
looks like EDI is a cheater company, taking money from customers and hanging around for a long time to maintain their permanent income.
I want my money back and because wasting my time that many days i want compensation as well.

RTA final road test
I thought by going to top school for driving in Dubai that I will get value for money. Here is my experience with Al Quoz branch:
1- 5 weeks waiting till my first class
2- instructors not professionals no mask no seat belt, each instructor is contradicting with the other one with regards to best practices and road rules (example change lane 1 lane at a time and examiner say go fast and cross all 4 lanes)
3- RTA test examiners super intolerant super racist and arrogant and unfair. Failed twice while I drive back home from 22 years and not been involved in single accident. Examiner will keep pressuring you till you slip then find any opportunity to hit the break or put his hand on the steering to give you a major comment. I have been in a car with 2 other students he failed the 3 of us. I cant complain or argue with them for fear of retaliation.

Theory test
My complaint is about Emirates driving school branch in burjuman Mall.
The representative there is not picking up the calls. I have tried multiple times since last friday to ask some query regarding my theory test but he is not picking up the phone. I had to go there to talk to him.
Very unproffessional behaviour.

Classes not allotted
I have taken unlimited attempts package with EDI. Below are few of the major issues I faced
1. Non experienced driver is allotted 40 hrs . I was allotted only 20 hrs because I had license from my home country. I did terribly on my evaluation and yet only 20hrs were allotted
2. In my 1st class the instructor banged the car door in frustration because I did not drive properly. Naturally I changed my instructor
3. After 20hrs I was asked to proceed with internal parking test inspite of having no training in parking . Their response was to fail the test and take the classes
4. After failing the test I have to call EDI multiple times to book practical classes
5 . I have my next test scheduled day after tomorrow and still no call from the institute. I have called 3 so far . The call centre has asked me to expect the call in the next 48 hrs and my test is in the next 40hrs. I won’t be attending a 4hrs classes at stretch just because EDI forgets to allot classes
My colleagues and friends went to other institutes and they haven’t faced any such issues

Schedule of training delay
I registered and pay full payment since March 15, 2022 ,I finish my theory test and simulator training. from the begining they are saying waiting period 14 days to start my driving classes. But until now no one call to schedule my training. it's been almost 1 month..I call them 2 times .but they're saying waiting. until when? The file last 3 months, and needs to renew and pay again. that's why I chose to enrolled in your school for urgent process. but what's happening, so delay. Almost 1 month still I didn't start. I'm so disappointed.

I would like to express my disappointment from your unsatisfactory level of service. I expected much more from EDI. I cant help but to raise a complaint ragarding your waiting time to provide a training schedule, Hoping a fast and adequate resolution.

Delay in scheduling practical class for more than 4 weeks
This is the worst service I have ever experienced. EDI takes students for granted. We invest our time and money with certain expectations but their service levels are pathetic. They don't abide by their commitments
I enrolled in EDI in February and was informed that the waiting period for practical class is 1 week after completing the RTA theory test.
It has been more than 4 weeks now but I haven't received a single call from them. I called your their center twice and they assured me that it has been escalated and I will get a call back. but there is no response from their side.
even their call center has a waiting period of 10 minutes and it is so pain taking
to get in touch with them.
If they do not have slots then why do they accept admissions and make our life miserable.
My RTA permit is also going to expire in May and they should bear the charge for it as the delay is from their end.

Waiting too long for independent road test
My RTA parking test has been passed last month. I am waiting for independent road trip training for one month it will be complete this week. I have been keep calling and following up my schedule to the customer service every week . They always say will call back within one week. Even i filed the complain No. [protected], nothing happen till now. One of my friend got already license at another institute. We learnt same time with different institute but i am still under progress. How annoying ?

Schedule of class
I've opened the File in EDI by January and i'm fully paid.
They said that my Class will be scheduled within two weeks of Theory test.
I've done my theory test on March 30. And still now after 2 weeks there is no response from EDI.
No follow up from EDI.
Even their customer care numbers are not reachable.
My RTA learning permit will expiry next week even, and i've to pay 130 AED to renew again.

Always delaying in scheduling
I am in full upfront paid package and its upsetting how I'm facing delay in getting my classes scheduled. I am the one who paid and I am the one who has been following up for schedule and every single time they just keep telling "as soon as possible". I joined this institute based on its spread towards middle-east. But Now compared to other school I'm so behind the timeline. Please someone help me get this message to concerned person in EDI as whenever I ask them to give me a supervisor on call or email address of concerned person and they denied. I stand at their counters for scheduling no one cares about schedule they just asked me to go home and do it by calling customer care

Training schedule wait time
Already registered ( [protected] )and theory test clear waiting for further process. During registration was told 10 days but my mistake they put 10 weeks which i already informed and told them to resolve it and let my training start on schedule time after theory test clear. Many times called in call center and explained still no one called .

I have registered for my EDI driving classes on Feb 2022 and I completed my RTA theory test on March 1st 2022 and simulator test on March 3 rd 2022.
After a week I had called the customer care and they told me to wait for another week I waited waited waited and no response .From March 15 th I am calling them every day regarding to start my practical classes and they say there are no Malayalam/Filipino instructors available .And on the April 3 rd 2022 I called the call centre and they say that they are following up and stories up and they have given a complaint blah etc .
I paid for the unlimited package and when you guys get the money from us why can’t you all tell that you don’t have anyone instructors on your side .I call them every day and no response other than telling we are following up .If I had known this I would have chose other driving school .Very bad service Edi has .I regret for joining this institute.

Unable to schedule classes for training for more than 2 weeks now
It is a pain to get your schedule booked once you paid to EDI. I am on unlimited plan with EDI. So it looks like they are least bothered to cater to customer. Since the maximum amount has been and now they can make money by applying the renewal fee of AED130/- when called the customer service they have least empathy and are least bothered and just ask to wait or visit their premises to meet supervisor. If that’s the case then why have they employed customer care. Just waste of resources as they are not even raising the concern raised by customer. There is no standard procedure of training by trainers as well. Every trainer has their own preferences and procedures and which has to be beat by us while giving the test. The instructor will fail saying you need more practice and for that they don’t have classes available. Regret taking admission in EDI. Should have gone for another training school. No value for money or time that I have spent so far!

Unprofessional and Negligence
I am at a stage where I have to take an independent highway class before booking the final road test. I have raised the request almost 2 weeks ago but nothing is scheduled yet. I have been trying to reach out to customer care almost on a daily basis. Each time they give me false assurance saying that I will get the call by the end of the day. Last week they tried to connect me to the scheduling department but apparently nobody was at their desk.
I even tried to reach customer care a while ago and they responded to me saying I "might" get the call in the "next couple of days"
I feel this is unfair, I have to wait for almost a month just to schedule "One Class". I am almost at the end of my course and this is a major roadblock for me. I am not sure if anybody takes customer grievances seriously.
Desired outcome: Either schedule the classes for me on time or Initiate a refund so that I can move on to any other driving institiute.

Regarding training classes
I am completely disappointed with the organization and customer service of EDI. While I am taking the admission your executive told me that once I clear the theory test I have to wait for two weeks to start my practice classes, I cleared the theory test on 7th March still I didn't get any call. Whenever I call customer care only response is someone will call me back soon. I feel that this is a complete waste of time and money.
Why it is like that if you have more students hire more trainers why to waste our time and money, why to give false promises. It's almost one month passed without any training, again we need to pay money for renewals every three months.
Please don't take admission if you don't have sufficient trainers to schedule classes as you promise at the time of admission. Please solve my issue ASAP.

Didnt get my driving license
I passed my road test finally on my 3rd attempt in 2022. Upon collecting my license, they told me i had pending payments in 2020. In 2020, i failed my road test . If i have pending payments , how did i even go for my road test and failed it ?
Still waiting for the response. Unacceptable. I transferred the file from al quoz to al qusais in 2022. I even went to driving school to know that my instructor is not there when i was still doing the driving class back then. No communications whatsoever. Spend a lot of money on taxis too. Please resolve this matter effectively.

What's going on EDI Dubai. . I'm extremely disappointed with their service. Had finished my RTA theory last 6th of April 2022.. it's been 33 days already and didn't get a call from them . I called 5 of their customer service staff and all they can do is lying. . They don't care anymore about the service of their applicants.. they're focusing on getting more people and get their money. After all kaliwali! How can i recommend this to my colleagues who's planning to have driving license from you (EDI)!
