Several weeks ago I ordered a pair of huarachas and paid for them. I have never received them but, was emailed to comment on their product. I don't know how to contact them and find out about my order. I really do want them so please find out about it for me. If you need my mailing address again, I'll be happy to give it to you. Thank you very much
Desired outcome: Hope to get them SON!!!
Class action against etsy for their unfair, fascist and discriminatory conduct.
We are looking for other users willing to sue Etsy for their unfair contract signing and unreasonable suspensions, most of which come without even explanations. It is written on the contract with sellers, innit? True, And it's just that the keystone of a lawsuit against Etsy… we are not under Fascism or Nazism, and a contract discussing work relationship...

I have been a seller on Etsy since 2008.
I am doing quite well, but I am totally pissed off with Etsy now and the direction this company has taken.
Absolutely NO customer service what so ever anymore?!
The only thing they focus on is creating new, time consuming business modules and asking for more and more fees.
That is what they call service, creating something we as sellers have not asked for?
I can go on and on...
Desired outcome: That SOMEONE from Etsy get in touch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfair attitude towards our Etsy shop
We have been selling handbag organizers compatible with speicific brand of bags for almost 8 years. Etsy started to deactive our listings. I am in contact with their so called "market integrity team" and they claim that we sell imitation bags. That's ridicolous!
We have to tell our customers that our bag organizers are compatible with their specific brand of bags and we do it by telling them the organizer fits in x brand or x model of bag. We are aware that we can not use any brand names and we try our best not to use the bag brands. We have been selling for years and we have many other competitiors selling in the same way as we do.
We are trying to update the products, but once we try it, the listing is deactivated automatically. They get back to us very late and doesn't resolve any of our problems.
Our regular handmade goods are even deactivated by Etsy without a reason.
We are disappointed as we are one of the top sellers and we are in good faith with our labour and work.
Our hands are tied, we can do nothing.
Desired outcome: Resolving our issues
Item arrived broken.
My complaint is against Home and Garden Gifts owned by Nat Poly.
I sent payment for a British shorthair grey cat laying down. It arrived with the front right pay broken off, the paw was not in the package. It had to have been broken when it was packed since it was tightly wrapped with clear paper which showed the broken paw. The seller wants to blame the USPS but the box was undamaged and there was a lot of packing material so it was not the fault of mailing. Owner ask me to file a complaint for damaged package but it was not appropriate. She emailed me to tell me that the item had been delivered to my front porch and wanted me to get it and open it. She then told me something very telling. She ask me not to file a complaint but to contact her and she would make it right. She knew it was defective or she would not have even mentioned a complaint. I have contacted the seller several times and she has not wanted to help me at all.
Desired outcome: I want a full refund.
I want a full refund or, if possible I want the seller to send me a paw from the same mold and I could attach it to my broken leg of the cat.

Item was broken when shipped and I know this because it was tightly wrapped with clear stretch paper. British Shorthair grey cat, laying down arrived without a front right paw. It was broken off. Seller says USPS is responsible. That cannot be unless they wrapped a broken item with clear stretch paper. After several contacts with seller, she has completely denied that it could have been broken when packed. I want a full refund. It is a beautiful statue so I would be happy if the seller would just send me a front right paw that I can a fix to broken paw/leg. I want the cat but I also want the paw.

Customer service
Ordered something from a seller that turned out to be defective. Customer service was no help. So I'm stuck with $450 wallpaper. Do not order with Etsy if you depend on customer service support.
The seller offered to look at the item and told me I had to send it back to the Ukraine at my cost! Customer service would not do a thing foe me.
I will not be ordering with Etsy again. I would send all my purchases back if I could too.
Desired outcome: for all to know the service is bad

Outdoor chairs and coffee table
Etsy sellers 1ofakind live edge tables took $13, 800 from us on September 20, 2020 via an Etsy transaction. The table was $8, 000 and the 14 chairs were $5, 000 plus some tax. We received the table today after 9 months and still no chairs. We have had to purchase 14 new chairs on our own to have a place to sit this summer after waiting nine months. Further, the sellers on Etsy led us to believe that transacting off of Etsy is acceptable and promoted. They charged us an additional $2, 800 for the chairs after holding our money for four months telling us we needed to pay that to get our chairs. We felt hostage so we paid 1/2 ($1, 400) for a total cash outlay at this point of $6, 400 toward chairs. Etsy has told us that their policy states that any transactions made outside of Etsy they are not responsible for. The problem with that is we transacted and trusted the Etsy sellers who were guiding us towards paying the additional monies via Venmo. Finally, we purchased a $4, 500 outdoor coffee table via Venmo because the sellers told us to. They also told us its easiest to converse via text messages as opposed to the Etsy message board which we started doing per the sellers request after October 2020. We used Etsy because we felt protected and are now realizing that may not be the case.
Desired outcome: $10,900 returned to us ($5,000 original purchase via Etsy + $1,400 additional paid towards chairs via Venmo + $4,500 paid via Venmo towards outdoor coffee table
Walking stick
On or about June 11, 2021 I ordered a walking stick from the Esty website, I was charged $34.74 for the walking stick, shipping, handling, and tax included. Then another $.26 separately, I am guessing to verify my account I used to pay for the purchase. The money was immediately taken out of my account. All this seems normal, well kind of. On June 15, 2021 I received 2 emails, one from Etsy stating I would be receiving a refund for the $34.74 in 5-7 business days, the other from the alleged seller of the walking stick claiming it was damaged. So all that has occurred is Etsy has my account information and can clearly remove amounts of money from my account, when they feel like it, which was not my intent. And the alleged seller, didn't have a replacement for the alleged damaged walking stick? I guess all the other walking sticks they sell we damaged also, and they ran out of saplings and or trees to make new ones?
Desired outcome: I would like the paid for walking stick in good working order, then all is well, or Etsy should distance themselves form this seller.
A follow up, as of June 16, 2021 I received my refund of $34.74, but not the mysterious $.26 charge. The alleged company Timberfluxshop whose rep is supposedly Noah, did not respond to my inquiry to why there wasn't a replacement walking stick offered. Trust me when I say I would have rather be saying what a great walking stick I received, instead of not being able to find a web sight for the alleged Timberfluxshop when I made my initial effort to find out where and whom they are supposed to be. So I am still not a happy camper first in not getting what I paid for, and I do not think it is cool that Etsy can take $.26 or any amount they chose out of my account without an explanation. In the past two years they join at least two other company's, who took if upon themselves to remove money from one or more of my accounts without my permission, and in a couple cases, money I did not even own the company.
Scam, seller took my money and refuses to ship the item.
May 29, 2021. Ordered an item. Paid the seller in full. Seller has lied to me several times during the past five days saying that the order was shipped and that he will send me a tracking number. Seller never shipped item and never gave me a tracking number. I requested a cancellation. Seller refused to refund my money. Seller stole my money and refuses to ship the item and has lied to me several times about my order.

Cinnamon bark essential oil
I ordered a bottle of cinnamon bark essential oil from the Georgia-Herbal shop on Etsy. I'm a trained and certified aromatherapist, and have worked for ten years with essential oils. The oil I received is not cinnamon bark oil at all-it smells terrible, and does not even smell or taste at all like cinnamon bark essential oil. I tried to apply for a return, but the Etsy site will not let you submit your request without a photo. When I tried to download a photo the site kept freezing. In addition to that, photos can NOT always show what is wrong with a product. You have to smell and taste an essential oil to know if it is genuine or not, and this essential oil is fake.
Desired outcome: Return item for a refund
I have paid Norwegian VAT twice
Order " [protected] per Mar 31, 2021 Seller Stephen Willette
I have paid tax to Norwegian authorities twice,
1) when I paid to Etsy`s pre-collected Sales tax,
2) when I picked up the package at the post office.
The seller informs me that the package had a label saying "VAT Collected", but Norwegian Posten has put their stickers on top of this (se enclosed photo).
I also enclose photos of the invoice and receipes of the double paid tax .
No labels show the VOEC number.
I have informed the seller about the use of the VOECnumber, as this was not known for them.
Best regards,
Kristi Nilsen
Desired outcome: I ask kindly for a refund of the tax amount.
non handmade
Etsy advertizes itself as a unique, handmade market place, this is fiction. You can buy mars bars, kit kats, obviously manufactured items etc. You can even buy trader joe's products. I want to see monitoring, complaints answered in a timely fashion, instead of this waste of time marketplace. This company is not what it claims to be and so I will be reporting itto the Better Business Bureau.
Desired outcome: response and desire to change
Paid "Sales tax/VAT" more than one time
I bought goods the 29th of March 2021 from "Niddy Noddy UK" owner Neil Whiteley, where the seller included the Norwegian VAT (£64.93) in his invoice (enclosed), Etsy also claims NOK 812, 64 in "Sales tax" (ecclosed), and the Norwegian Posten claims also NOK 898, - for VAT.
So I have paid taxes three times.
The company "Niddy Noddy UK" has correctly added NOK VAT and this is fully paid be me.
Norwegian Posten has promised today to refund to me the wrongly additional VAT from them.
Now I request Etsy to refund NOK 812, 64 to my account for these taxes I already has paid to the seller.
I also want Etsy to explain why "Sales tax" is added each time I buy something.
I will give my bank account number as soon as Etsy responds to my complaint.
Best regards,
Kristi Nilsen
Registration
Etsy has very poor Trust and Safety policy and irrelevant accusations! I just registered to this platform, it took me long hours to create the best thumbnail for my listing and without notice or reason you permanently deleted my account! I did not even receive any email regarding the issue!
Billing
I recieved two billings after closing my Etsy account. I understand the first billing that came after closing my account was for the previous month my account was open. But this last billing came after that, 4.28 was withdrawn from my account. If this happens again Etsy, I will instruct my bank to refuse payment to you! I refuse to pay for an account that is CLOSED.
Outside advertising fees
I was charged for this Order for outside advertising fees. This order was a Custom order between the buyer and myself. I feel like I have been charged and incorrect billing. The order number is this. Please check into this as what he is getting I don't even have on my site. I would expect a prompt reply. And prompt refund.

GLAMCOSMETICSBySuggs
I bought an apparently new Duralit Kettle on ETSY on the 13/03/2021 from GLAMCOSMETICSBySuggs at a cost of £40. The parcel arrived damaged and I took photographs. When I tried the kettle it would not switch off. I contacted the seller and we exchanged emails. She asked me to send photographs, which I did, but the video I sent she couldn't access. She suggested I returned the item, but now states that I broke the switch - which I did not, in fact why would I break something that was already broken. I tracked the item and after 7 days of no refund, I tried to get in touch with her but she would not respond. After I mentioned escalating the case she because threatening. I have today, 3.4.2021 received 7 emails, at 09:27; 09.38; 12:18 and 14:24 to which I have sent a couple of responses. However, the ones which have now come through, I haven't opened, one at 15:10; 15:15 and 15:17. This is harrassment.
All I want is a refund. Your assistance would be appreciated.
Desired outcome: Full refund
I am complaining about a sterling silver chain that I purchased.
On the 3/25/21 I purchased a sterling silver curb chain. The money was taken out from my checking account. A total of $66.00. I never received a confirmation email or anything. I would like a refund. Thank you John
