The store is poorly stocked. There are a lot of empty shelf's especially the water and soda. Most of the time I go there to buy anything I have to go to another store because the shelf is empty. Also, a lot of the packaging is destroyed or dirty. The $1 box of honeybuns were all smashed, the juice jugs were all smashed, the pop cartons were filthy and falling apart.

The store was a disaster on Saturday the 26th! Starts when me & my son step in the store, not one cart was available for customer use, and I went there to buy heavy bottles of bleach, ect... Then the clearance area is just a pile of crap, and if you take the time to dig you find most things are Not priced at all. I found 2 items I thought were worth buying, both being priced at.50 cents each. I'm walking through the store arms full & seeing where all the carts are, the employees are using them for inventory. With arms full, wanting to shop more, but one of the clearance items was a spray that was leaking down my arm. So off to check out. Watching closley to see I got the clearance prices, sure enough, they rung up full price. One item was a small note book, with a grease stain on the back cardboard, and the cashier tells me the original price was $2.? so no way was it.50 cents & the leaking spray cleaner? Originally $4.? so again no clearance. Needless to say, it was the worst Family Dollar Store experience I've ever encountered, and not sure I will be back anytime soon, at least not the Penn Ave Store. This is not my first complaint of this store, and the way things have been looks like it won't be the last.

I purchased a bag of Caramel M &M's and could not believe that they were so badly crushed and broken. I buy at least 6 to 8 bags a week, I love them, I was extremely upset and you should know that it's a reflection on your company that this establishment would sell them like this. I took photos of the candy and the receipt from where I purchased them. I obviously will not eat this bag, I am definitely throwing them in the trash.

I tried returning the unopened' unused product with my reciept Thursday morning only to be told they do not accept returns on over the counter medications. Im complaining about the management there his name is Marcus he had me do the hire application once completed he told me to come to work on Wednesday well I did but was sent home because his manager had to do another form on me and it said my identity couldnt be confirmed and It wouldn't let them call the number. I went today and purchased some cheese packets of the shelf and they were expired since 2018 we are 10/20/19 today and my son grabbed some marshmallows and they were expired since July 2019 I do not understand why would yall have expired food on the shelfs...
