Family Dollar CP that was purchased n a ride n disrespectful

I purchased a cp from A T&T that was packaged,it would not work so I called there n they said that the manager would be in at certain times n everytime I came there they said that various ones were the manager n some of them said that he wasn't there n gave a multitude of different times!I was very badly injured n everytime I came I fell this time I dropped the receipt n someone picked it up!They were laughing n when I asked for there names everyone of them said that they didn't know one another's name,I must have come in that store 20 times between May 31 n June 30,2022,I'm still hurt n out of approximately $44.00 I was never able to find the appropriate person to go to! What a mean n hateful bunch of female people!

Desired outcome: I was like someone in charge over top them to calle please!

Family Dollar Store # 05227

I went shopping with the business tax exempt form and the manager refused to accept it. She refused to accept the tax exempt from the email, the print out, or the family dollar business account. I showed her the instructions on the family dollar website and she still would not accept it. She would not allow me to call the last store we had been in to give her instructions on how to process it and she would not contact anyone for assistance. She took my items back to the shelf and checked my barcodes like the original tags weren't good enough. She was extremely rude to the point that I had to send my daughter out of the store with my family. I can't believe that a woman that lacks customer service skills could possibly be a manager. You guys would do much better starting over. I have left my review on Google as well as told all of my friends, family, and local business owners not to bother shopping there as our tax exempt and our business is not wanted.

I have never been treated so badly by an associate in my life.

Desired outcome: I would like that manager to be retrained properly. I would like a phone call from anyone in the world that is not her to provide an explanation as to why this treatment is allowed.

I truly empathize with you. Unfortunately, we live in a society where some citizens believe that their livelihood is the only one that matters. It is so sad to see individuals working in organizations competing for approval from the higher upper levels and so blinded by this that they lose sight of themselves, everything one person does, affects another, and reputations are at stake among organizations that are not in unity from top to bottom, every aspect is of importance, and to say the least, they are setting the entire organization up for a major takeover because, consumers, all stakeholders are a part of its survival. Therefore, please do not be dismayed by the negligence of others, they are the ones who are in need of empathy, because they are blinded and do not recognize themselves.

Family Dollar Customer service

Family Dollar located at 265 West Ferry Street, Buffalo, NY 14214, this store location hires rude and ignorant employees. If it wasn't for the fact that -this location is convenient, I wouldn't patronize this store. Throughout my recent visit, I could here the employees gathering at the front near the registers cursing and talking loud. Since they were not paying attention a man that must have been stealing ran out of the store and you could here the employees screaming.. It was at that moment I knew it was time for me to leave and cash out. As I approached the counter I thought that the employees at the registers would've have some type of respect and stop cursing. But, no these savages did not. They continued. I then asked them could they refrain from cursing because I didn't want to here that. The male said that he is the manager of the store and

"I" was rude for telling grown people what to do? And I ain't got to shop here. I couldn't believe it. He continued to talking as I ignored him. It felt like it took for ever for the cashier to ring me out.

Overall, I think that it for the best interest of the store to request that the District Manager to train these employees on good customer service.

Desired outcome: RETRAIN, MONTOR EMPLOYEES, ASK FOR CUSTOMER FEED BACK.

Interestingly enough, you're not alone. as a matter of fact, I've experienced the same at a Family Dollar store in my neighborhood. Surprisingly, most of the DMs are lacking in the areas of competence, some more than others. The bottom line, it remains the same. There will not ever, ever be signs of quality assurance amongst the Family Dollar stores, and fortunately for us, as stakeholders, and consumers, the entire chain of Family Dollar stores will cease to exist. As long as the CEOs and upper levels of the organization continue to prove themselves incompetent, the same measure of expectancies will follow down the chain until it hits bottom. It's just a matter of time.

Family Dollar I was told that I was banned and not come back

was sunday 3/12/23 at about 1:15-1:45, i bout a red bull and hit cash back and needed 50$ back. They didnt have it and it was no sign up saying no cash back. They told me to come back to get my money. I cant cause i have to work so i asked them to call police to cover my self and so police will know they owe me money. they got mad, and gave me my 50 dollars and told me i couldnt come back to the store. i did nothing wrong and this the second time the same store acted like that because im a african american. Im calling my lawyer after this so you will be hearing from me again it should all be on camera. im wearing all black

Thanks for sharing your uncomfortable experience as a person, attempting to be a consumer of goods at Family Dollar stores. It's outrageous, nevertheless, I wouldn't say it's a racial incident. Perhaps if they'd had used a more proper level of communication skills, the encounter would've turned out differently for every. Especially if they knew they didn't have the proper change to give you for the purchase. Rather than make a decision to cheat you, you could've easily gone somewhere else, get the change, and come back to the store. On the other hand, had the cashier noticed that you were already intoxicated, they should've never taken your money in the first place, likewise, if they hadn't asked for your ID, for selling you the alcoholic beverage, they were non-compliant in the first place when you asked them to call the authorities, it angered them, thereby, they had no right to ban you from the store. They are totally negligent and against compliance with state and federal licensure.

I went to family dollar 110 S Kirkman rd on 3/9 at 8:30 pm. The store closes at 10 pm and the cashier had already closed the tobacco station claiming that it close at 8 pm, I know this is untrue. The new staff there is horrible, they are truly running the store down with poor customer service, dishonoring of policy and procedures and losing company money. They also open the store late and hang outside like they aren't at work.

Family Dollar Jackie supervisor at 1715 Yosemite Parkway Merced California 95340

She automatically accused me of stealing even tho I walked in with the receipt and item I had purchased that I wanted to exchange the lady before me walked out with a handful of makeup and did not pay and yet I still got accused for it she automatically started asking questions without even asking the cashier was sticking up for me as far as me being the customer and letting the boss lady supervisor Jackie no that we were not the criminals we had a receipt in hand with the product we had just purchased without leaving the parking lot she was rude disrespectful inconsiderate and totally out of the way as far as accusing automatically and not even asking questions she did not stop the lady before us that had walked out with a handful of makeup that she had definitely stolen but yet turn the attention to us for no apparent reason this lady needs to be fired she needs to be reprimanded as a supervisor and put down to her actual rank this woman should not be working at the facility and I and the rest of my friends will boycott your facility until she is gone

Interesting. As you mentioned, " before leaving the parking lot", is very interesting, because if the manager and/or any other of the employees followed you outside of the store, aggressively confronting you, whether you were guilty or not, they were in violation of OSHA, safety rules, at no time should employees become aggressive, follow customers out of the store even if they think the customer is a shoplifter, never, ever should a manager nor associate behave in a manner that could potentially cause harm to themselves or other customers that are in the store. Even though FD is not accredited by the BBB, it doesn't make them exempt from the following compliance, adhering to federal/state regulatory agencies.

All the more reason for immediate actions to be taken place for the government to take over the chain of FD organizations. It is one thing to find indications of negligence in one store location, but it is a bigger picture to obtain a larger quantity of consumer complaints against one corporation across the nation with all complaints in similarities. Unless there is an oversight in policies allowing these mishaps to happen, time will reveal all.

Family Dollar phone service or contact

We have been calling the store for 3 weeks in a roll daily and no one answer the phones.

I think this is very unprofessional. It doesn't matter the time of the day.

This is for the store in 46 Washington Ave, Belleville, NJ 07109.

I can't believe the manager, or an associate can't answer the telephone.

When you go in person to speak to the manager. The associates say they are not in.

A very disappointed and unsatisfied customer.

Family Dollar Associate accused me of stealing.

I was in your Family dollar location on March 8 2023. The time was 1:29. I came to the location to buy plastic utensils and ramen noodles for my students. When I realized the store didn’t have the Ramen noodles my students liked, I walked back over to the aisle I got the plastic utensils from. Then I proceeded to leave. Once I got to the door I was approached by an associate named Anthony. He stated that I needed to put back the item I stole. I explained to him that I had not taken anything. Anthony then proceeded to tell me then go get the item I had with me the first time. I explained to him that I would not, and that your company had working cameras, and he could see that I’ve taken nothing. Anthony then said that would take to long for him to look at, and I need to just go grad the item and show him. After Anthony continue to humiliate me by asking to go get the item he saw me have, I told him I would like to speak to him supervisor. Anthony then said he was the supervisor, and that I needed to leave. I told Anthony I would leave as soon as I talk to someone from corporate. He then told me he was over the situation, and if I didn’t buy anything I was trespassing and need to leave. When another customer came to the register he proceeded to tell that customer I was tripping. The customer then sided with Anthony and said did he want him to call someone to make me leave. I continue to tell Anthony that I’ve done nothing wrong and I wanted to wait to talk to another supervisor to tell them the situation. Anthony then went towards to back to grad another associate name Dana and tell her I was tripping. I also let her know the situation, and explained that I was trying to get a hold of a supervisor by phone to tell them the situation. Anthony then became even more irate and demanded that I leave very aggressively. I would like to talk to someone immediately about the situation that has taken place at your store. This experience has called me great stress and your store. I also have some video of how Anthony was speaking to me. The location of this store is located at :

Family Dollar My son stroller that was taken out of the store.

On 03/07/2023 at 5:30 pm at the family dollar on 91st and Commercial Ave.I entered the store to do some shopping with my son and his stroller.I were told I had to leave the stroller at the door.I finish shopping went to get the stroller to put the bags in the stroller was gone.The store employees said a lady walked out with the stroller she come in here everyday.They described the young lady to me and she lived not far from me.The manager told my daddy that she told the young lady she could have the stroller, because she's not babysitting no stroller. Knowing that the stroller didn't belong to the other young lady.That is so unprofessional of your store manager on all levels.So from now on I'm not leaving anything at the front door anymore.I'm taking everything with me through the store.Because if we can't trust your manager, then who can you trust in the store to watch your belongings.

Family Dollar An employee

My son was in the store on 03/05/2023 and was looking for what he wanted to purchase. An employee of yours walked up to him and asked him if he needed help he said he didnt not. She then followed him on three aisle staring at him and then told him to get out he looked suspicious. We live directly across from this store and my son is in this store if not everyday he is in there every other day. My son did not have on anything that would make him look suspicious, he had shorts and a shirt with sandles. I am extremely disappointed and would like for you all to pull the camera and reprimand her on how to treat customers. He has a right to look and make up his mind on what he wants to purchase. Not to mention it was harrassment. The employee name is Mercedes Clause and the address is 1220 Dell Dale Channelview, TX 77530.

Desired outcome: I want an apology to my son because he was embarrassed as well as mistreated due to a suspicion that I am still trying to understand. I have a video of when I returned and she gave me the same excuse

Family Dollar Invasion of Privacy

My Wife was working in the machias Maine store. She had to take off 4 days after a procedure. She brought in a doctors not but that one wasn't good enough so she had to get another notes. When she went back she was suspended for 2 days because she took too much time off. She had taken 1 day where she couldn't get out of our driveway and they sent her home one day. The store manger there [edited] makes every find their OWN replacements and forces everybody to share contact information, not legal by any means. Your manager knows about many issues in that store including all the people who are smoking pot in the bathroom but she is buddy buddy with them so it's ok.

My Wife decided not to go back because [edited] was going to fire her anyway. We will be looking into a lawyer to investigate this matter. You have a manger who can't even be there by himself because he isn't old enough to sell tobacco or beer..are you kidding me?

Family Dollar Managers. Employees

Being a costumer.i needed card board boxes .since moving etc , since had to go in they're dumpster by store .what. Gets to me is the stuff in the trash .like this store would be loosing money if employees bor the manager did this .like three brand-new boxes of white clear trash bags .also balloons nothing wrong with

Also theft tape it says FD on it trashed unopened X2 times 1 wheel of theft tape for meats trashed still in plastic .

Also food items that are not expired Ritz crackers .and potted meat in can with an expiration date of 2024 seriously? Also a quite amount of light bulbs nothing wrong with them besides being thrown in a dumpster broken that way .were talking wart of 75.60 flood lights .

Again ..this family dollar loosing money because managers and everything employees just tossing these items .also. stick on wall soap dispensers brand new nothing wrong .and I tried emailing .no answer no reply .

The biggest thing in the trash was a plastic bank bag that had two drivers licenses and three medicaid type insurance cards .this really ticks me off.seeing a driver's licenses still valid ..and someone that works for this FD just threw away someone's life .wether plastic or not

Family Dollar Coupons

I want coupons sent to me by US mail or I want the cash registers at the store I go to have automatic computer to scan an item for use of coupon. I don't have a phone to use. Put phones to use at the counter and allow customers to use them for coupons and return the phone after coupons are used. Do something to help us. We don't all own smart phones or printers at home. Provide me with paper coupons mailed to me through US Mail SYSTEM.

Desired outcome: Send me paper coupons in the US mail to use in the store.

#5860 store number sam Houston Victoria Texas manager said she could not take back the can opener without a box we had the receipt she said call 1800 number so we called with no outcome. Family Dollar Attempted assault

On February 26, 2023, at approximately 4:11pm, I purchased items from a Family Dollar store located at 3414 North Main Street in Columbia, South Carolina.

After exiting the store and proceeding across the street, a young Black male driving a White colored SUV, license tag number QVC-657, at a high rate of speed, stopped ahead of me and, without identifying himself, approached me in a menacing manner and demanded I surrender my bag to him for reasons unknown. I refused. The male, again, without identifying himself, demanded I surrender my bag to him and threatened, or "I'll run your a** over".

I proceeded to walk back toward the Family Dollar, at which time, the male pursued me in his vehicle, off the road and at a high rate of speed.

I proceeded to run to the parking lot of Auto Money Title Loans company on the corner of North Main Street and Sunset Drive. The male continued to pursue me at a high rate of speed through the title loan company parking lot, prompting me to run across the street to the Family Dollar parking lot, where a Black female, wearing a red colored jacket, presumably the store manager, was standing with her hands on her hips.

The male drove adjacent to the woman, who stated, [Y]oure good, at which time both individuals entered the store. [Area surveillance footage would support my complaint.]

I called the Columbia Police Department from a location at 2830 North Main Street, which dispatched two officers, a White female, Badge Number 26297 and a Black male, Badge Number 25278. Both officers proceeded to the Family Dollar store and returned shortly to inform me that the matter was a mere miscommunication and that no further action would be forthcoming from the police.

Because the male failed to identify himself, while demanding I surrender my property to him, and subsequently threatening to assault me with his vehicle, I construed the matter as an attempted robbery and attempted vehicular assault, causing me extreme emotional distress.

Therefore, this matter is being referred to both an attorney and the local prosecutor's office. Additionally, this report will be widely disseminated to the public domain.

Let this be a lesson to you if someone attempts to rob you and assault you with a vehicle. It's a mere miscommunication.
