Frigidaire 13 inch refrigerator freezer
March 26, 2022 I received a delivery ofFrigidaire 13 inch refrigerator freezer within 10 days it stopped refrigerating and freezing and all my food was spoiled I was told by Frigidaire it would take a week for a technician to come out yesterday he came out and cleared the unit unrepairable it was leaking gas when I spoke to Frigidaire this morning they said I would receive an email from the corporate office within 10 business days I said that’s unacceptable you sold me a lemon do you realize that if I weren’t in a wheelchair and had bought this at a store instead of online they would’ve replaced it immediately I have a warranty why do I have to wait for approval
Desired outcome: I want the unit replaced immediately
Frigidaire Refrigerator/Freezer Model FFTR1821TW
Don't know where to begin to be honest. Don't know what is worse - the Frigidaire appliance itself or Electrolux/Frigidaire Customer Service. Actually, a toss-up; equally bad. Bought a new refrigerator/freezer. Shortly after purchase, noticed items in freezer compartment were thawing. Thought, maybe have too much in freezer; so, cut down how much was inside. Didn't help. Put two freezer thermometers in freezer compartment. Tried them both out on our other appliance first to ensure they worked properly. No problem. When placed them in the freezer compartment of our new Frigidaire, realized what the problem was. The temperature in the freezer compartment swings wildly. Since the unit is less than 3 months old, reached out to Frigidaire. Appointment scheduled. Technician assigned. Even received confirmation email. Given day, date, and time. No show. Not happy to burn 1/2 a day waiting for no one. Called. Frigidaire blamed it on local 3-party contractor. Rescheduled. Spoke with supervisor. Ensured would send out a Senior Tech for first appointment in morning the following week. Again, appointment scheduled. Technician assigned. Even received confirmation email. Given day, date, and time. Morning came and went. Called. While on phone with Frigidaire, service technician shows up - around 11:00AM. Spends about an hour or more diagnosing issue. When service technician attempts to order part, is told appointment has been cancelled. Wait, What!? Assures me not a problem. Will have supervisor retrieve his notes and will come back out next week to new temperature controller. Call. Told new appointment will need to be scheduled. Day before/day of scheduled appointment, a different service technician calls. Says he has been assigned the case. When comes out, he asks what the issue is. Really!? Tries to up-sell me on protection plan. Ask for him to check to make sure nothing is wrong creating the controller to short. Does not. Still have same problem. Freezer temperature swings from -20 to +32 F. Call. Request Senior Technician who came out initially. Again, request first appointment. Senior Technician arrives. Again, around 11:00AM. Calls Frigidaire. Frigidaire does not seem interested in issue. Says is because unit is in the garage. Says temperature is too cold in garage - though outside temperature is 65 F. Recommends a garage heater be installed. So, another visit is scheduled. Request same Senior Tech. And, to test the hypothesis, move unit from garage into house. Temperature continues to swing wildly even in house. So much for thought that issue was due to unit being in garage. Yet another technician comes out to install garage heater. Weeks have turned into months. Unit is now in the house. Despite having having in house and now with new temperature controller and also a garage heater, temperature continues to not be stable. In the meantime, have reached out to Frigidaire MANY, MANY, times. Have been hung up on. Transferred to survey queues when ask to speak to supervisors. Email corporate leadership with both Electrolux/Frigidaire and the 3rd-party service technicians. Given dedicated person to serve as liaison. Inform them issue still persists. Crickets. It is really like they hope I will go away. Basically, we have an 18 cubic foot piece of furniture I am reluctant to use because don't want to risk food spoilage due to unresolved temperature instability issue. Look at other reviews. See a lot that describe similar, if not identical, issues. Even try posting a review. Rejected even though comply with all their requirements.
Desired outcome: Given up trying to get this lemon fixed. Electrolux/Frigidaire needs to stand by their product. They are not. Outcome, a refund and compensation for our time would be a good start.
Model number: gcrg3060af gas range
Since day one this range has had a toxic smell. Like epoxy or plastic.
We bought it right before pandemic and then could not get service.
When we try to use oven it make my wife and I have headache and feel nausea.
Its far worse than words can describe. We even out of desperation went on twitter and posted on fridgidaires page. Of course they yesed us and said they would be happy to help use. Then other people seeing the post commented yes they just bought that model and are getting sick with the oder. Magicly all posting was deleted. Im so angry I bought all new appliances from them and get no service or help.
Desired outcome: I want a replacement ,just give me a oven that wont make us sick.
Agreed JeffD888.Mr helpful looks like he has no clue and or is a dishonest shill .I will never in my life time buy that brand ever again.
Dishwasher
I purchased a dishwasher on January 9, 202, the serial number is KH94321081 and model number is FGID2479SF5A. In late February of 2022, the dishwasher stopped working. There were numerous times that I called customer service but nobody seemed to want to help me. I called March 4th, 47 minutes on the phone, the customer service rep gave me the number for RGC Appliance and told me that I can call them to come and repair the dishwasher, however RGC Appliance did not receive a work order and they told me to call Frigidaire back. I called Frigidaire back on March 7, 25 minutes on the phone, the customer service rep told me that the warranty had expire and gave me another number of a company to call to come and fix my dishwasher but I would have to pay. Both this calls were directed to a contact center in the Philippines. On March 7th, I called Frigidaire again, I was trying to escalate my complaint, 1 hour and 34 minutes on the phone, I spoke to someone in USA, she was the most helpful but she said that because the warranty has expired, they would only give me a discount on any replacement parts. On March 8, 2022, I sent an email to customer service explaining my situation, however I have not yet received a response. I called on March 29, 7 minutes on the phone, the customer service rep said that he was going to call me back that day, as expected he did not. His English was very poor, he couldn't or wouldn't even spell his name for me. The thing is, I did not only purchase the dishwasher, I also purchased a refrigerator, a stove and a over the counter microwave. I could have purchased any other make but chose Frigidaire because I had purchased appliances from them previously that had lasted me over 15 years and I believed that they were a good company.
Desired outcome: For Frigidaire to pay for repairs to dishwasher
Refrigerator needed new compressor after only 18 months
We purchased a Frigidaire side-by-side Model JSI23 on 8/28/2020 from Lowe's Home Center, 1801 Fordham Boulevard, Chapel Hill, NC. The unit was delivered and installed on 9/11/2020. Just 18 months later, on 3/7/2022, the warning buzzer and temperature indicators let us know that the unit was not functioning properly. A serviceman identified the problem as the compressor, which would need to be replaced - at a cost of 70% of the original cost of the refrigerator. We would, in addition, need to purchase a warranty at $99 per year because we could not depend on the reliability of the appliance. Such early failure is unacceptable when the expected average life of a new unit, though not what it once was, is still at minimum 10 years. At the very least, we ought to be reimbursed for the three-year warranty, and even with that I'm not sure we will have the confidence to buy or recommend Frigidaire in the future.
Desired outcome: Detailed above, with some assurance that we won't run into the same issue again.
Frigidaire range model #lfef3054tfk
On 10/27/2020 I bought the range listed above and a 3 year warranty from Lowe’s on Sept 2021 the range was not working right the lights on the back flashes the stove would not work I unplugged the stove plugged it back in the next day turned oven on it started smoking. I call Frigidaire the following week they had Capital appliance come and check it out they put a new panel on it and said it was fix it done the same thing was still under warranty I called Frigidaire again they sent capital appliances out again was told nothing was wrong with it. I used the stove that night and the lights started blinking and the stove went blank by this time Frigidaire would not help me I had to go thru Lowe’s warranty. I had made six calls to them the last call they scheduled At home company to come out the no showed that was 11/22/21 called back Capital appliance came out they said I would have to time how long it takes the stove to act out and go through the warranty to schedule another appointment and when they arrive the stove needs to be acting up. I was defeated at that point. I went thru thanksgiving and Christmas without a stove I sent a letter on 2/7/22 to Frigidaire have not got a reply. So my range is setting in the back room not working. I paid 878.00 for the range and warranty. I don’t know what else to do can you help me or give me direction? I tried to upload a video it kept saying loading error
Desired outcome: I would like a new stove or a refund.
Frigidaire galaxy freezing on back of the Refrigerator
Good afternoon I have reached out to Frigidaire on Number occasions concerning my refrigerator it’s freezing on the back of the refrigerator only had it for seven years and they told me they will not replace my refrigerator because I have had it as they say eight years in my refrigerator is freezing in the inside of the refrigerator they said it was a manufactures defect at the end of the day I do not appreciate how I’ve been treated concerning this matter and they saying that they will not replace it so if anyone having the same problem please leave a review concerning your refrigerator thank you and be blessed and I will never buy another one of your products sincerely Yvette Coney
Gas range
Gas range came defective. Got into a shouting match with customer service. Worst service ever piece of crap range. No one at Frigidaire cares and on one at Home Depot cares. Will never buy from either again! Delivered on February 15th. Bake does not work! Faulty wires. Repair guy could fix and nothing is being done.
Desired outcome: New range
Stainless steel gas range
I bought a stainless steel gas range at home depot in the 850.00 range. I stuck with frigidare as i still have a basement freezer for over 20 years that is still running fine, a side by side refridgerator that still runs after 18 years .
I would love to meet the designer of this stove that thought it would be a great idea to have the stovetop black. No matter how you clean it it looks filthy dirty, you cant use brillo or it will scratch. Have tried everything .It is stained and looks like crap. I like having a clean kitchen, but the stove always looks filty with smudges. Some times i have to soak the top in boiling water. What in gods name were you thinking when yoiu chose a blacktop rather than stainless steel?. I will bet every penny i own a man designed this. Nice you used something inferior for your bottom line rather than your customer. Really unhappy with your product, oh and god forbid water touches the side of the burner, it takes 2 days to dry out and work again.
Not a happy camper

Desired outcome: Would love to speak to the person who designed this stove

My name is Marie Felix-Shannon. My email is [protected]@gmail.com. This is the first and last time I will purchase a product from your company. To say that I am disappointed is a farfetched understatement. I purchased this upright freezer brand new off the website. The only thing that has gone right since it was ordered is that arrived on time. 2/26/22. The delivery gentleman plugged it in, and it turned on as it should however never ever froze anything. I followed the manuals instruction bumping up the dial until I've reached a desired setting and after 4 days it still wasn't freezing. I called and had a service tech come out. That took 3 days. He came out on 3/3/22 and diagnosed it with having a bad compressor. I called back to your company who stated all they could do was send another tech out. They refused to replace it. I didn't buy a scratch and dent. I didn't buy a used one. IT WAS BRAND NEW! it arrived defective. I called Home Depot to see if they would return the product and they wouldn't take it back either! They have a 2 day return policy. It took longer than that just to run thru the manuals trouble shooting. At this point I was extremely frustrated. I reached out to the service tech that had arrived earlier in the day (Edgar). It went to VM but that was full so I called your company back on that same day having felt completely defeated knowing I'm stuck with this $900 freezer that doesn't even work. I spoke to another representative who I asked to just order the compressor so I can get this thing working. She assured me she did and that they would reach out to make another appointment to install it. I received a text message with an appointment for 3/9/22. I get a call this morning from the service tech asking me if i had the part! No, I don't have the part. They were supposed to order it. He said he is going to order it and had to reschedule until NEXT week now. I bought this on 2/16/22 and I still cannot use it. I am at this point in tears with total frustration. I waited over a year to buy one of these so I could do some research. This model had great reviews. I have never been more disappointed with a product, company or customer service in all my life. This is a horrible way to treat your customers. I am now stuck with this piece of junk that I saved up for and doesn't work. almost a month after ordering and 2 weeks after arrival. I won't ever be recommending your products to anyone because I wouldn't want someone to have this same experience I am currently having. At the very least I would have been happy with an exact exchange and was denied by both your company and the Home Depot where it was purchased online. I paid for a new product not a defective one.
Frigidaire French Door refrigerator freezer.
Purchased Refrigerator freezer with top compartment icemaker which has never produced adequate ice in 24 hours, 48 hours or even more.
Have contacted them 3 times or more and competant local service rep. came twice and recommended that Frigidaire provide bottom drawer ice maker to no avail!
Subsequent inquires informed us that serv. rep from Myrtle Beach would come to assess situation.
NEVER CONTACTED US!
1ST REP. CHANGED parts including freezer plate mechanism, still no satisfactory response from manufacturer.
This is a run-around to avoid making good on an express and implied warranty of merchantability.
Outside surface already showing corrosion and rust.
Rubber gasket for freezer is ill-fitting and pulled away such that it has never made proper closure and seal.
In addition there are areas of the internal componenets of the cabinet(s) that have cracked early on.
Still no satisfaction nor reasonable response.
What a sham! Manufacturer seems to be trying to out wait us on the warranty period.
This will also be reported to the South Carolina Dept. of Consumer Affairs.
D. Fripp Ducker.
Feel free to contact me @@[protected].
Desired outcome: Replace with product suitable for merchantability, or full refund from manufacturer and vendor.(Home Depot, Florence, S.C.).
Frigidaire Freezer
Ive been trying to get a warranty replacment for over a month. Ive been given wrong PO numbers Ive been give false information and supposedly its having to be sent to the back office for the third time. Information provided to me by FRIGIDAIRE ive been asked where did you get that information by the next rep I speak too. YOU guys gave it to me, Ive been told thats not true.Spoke with a supervisor this morning who was rude and absolutely no help. 73 calls to Frigidaire (all documented) and 11 chat sessions with no resolve! Ibe asked to speak to another supervisor and was told in 1-2 days i would get a call. I would like a call NOW, ive waited long enough. [protected]. Ive been a loyal Frigidaire customer for a long while and im considering moving on after this.
Desired outcome: A phone call and warranty replacement
Frigidaire Gallery Fridge
Bought a Frigidaire top fridge bottom freezer 7 years ago and now a big rust spot has shown up on back. We are afraid will rust through and leak. We have had ice dispenser fixed twice. Will never buy another Frigidaire product!
Desired outcome: Letting people know Frigidaire products are crap.
Refrigerator side by side
This refrigerator has completely stopped working twice because of poor design. The first time I ended up paying for an extended warranty and the fridge was not even a year old. The tube that fills the ice trays spills off due to hard water and ice forms on the fan that blows the cold air. If you don't replace the water filter every couple of months this is what happens. Extremely frustrated and just want to throw it out.
Desired outcome: A new refrigerator would be nice don't want to have to do this every year.
Freezer defective door
Door severely leaking air from day 1. Repair person sent out and discovered the door was molded with a severe dip in the actual door inside along the top right under the seal so no way it will seal properly. No problem right... Under warranty and a manufacturing defect... They call back and are going to send a new door. But... It will be 4-6 months to get the door on a brand new freezer. So I say that's too long and our frozen item are being ruined and the electric bill has gone up because it's running all the time. Plus it's not good for the freezer to run like that and we have too much frozen stuff to fit in out fridge freezer so can you just replace the whole unit? Nope. Multiple calls to frigidaire with no other resolution except a 4-6 month wait. So our only recourse is to contact a class action attorney and hope we can get a class action going because we found out they sold a bunch of these freezers knowing the doors were defective. I have always bought frigidaire freezers but never again. Frigidaire should have pulled these defective freezers off shelves until door replacements could be made at the sellers before sending them on to consumers all over the country.
Desired outcome: Frigidaire needs to replace the whole unit. But I think it will take a class action suit to wake them up when they have to pay for replacements and loss of frozen items plus excessive electric bills.
Freezer
We purchased a new freezer in Nov. 2020. Four months later, in March of 2021 the motor quit and was replaced because of the warranty. Last month in Jan. 2022 the motor went out again, causing us to lose large amounts of thawed meat again! Frigidaire did just replace the motor again, last week, however it took so long to replace that we have spent over...

Microwave FPBM307NTF
Blowing breaker in circuit box after 2 years. Repair cost to replace 2 switches and door latch was $250. Just over a year later, same thing happened. Response to my Email to Frigidaire customer service was an automatic reply with their customer service number. Customer service answered with recording that they can't take my call. This is a high priced microwave that I am not willing to spend $250 annually on. I will be buying a new microwave from a different company.
Desired outcome: Repair at no cost this time
I am complaining about one year Warranty in effect
On February 12, 2022, I noticed my freezer has stopped working and my food had started defrosting.
I purchased this freezer (Frigidaire 20 cu upright Freezer on March10th, 2021, with a one year warranty, plus a 5 year protection Plan).
I contact Home Depot customer support [protected]) where I purchased the Freezer (order # WJ3132676). I was sent to the 5 year protection Plan Department [protected]). Since I was still under warranty (one month) I was told to contact [protected]) They were closed on the weekend. I contacted The protection department again, and They tried to contact Frigidaire Warranty department. It was suggested that I get a company that fix frigidaire, in which I did. I had to get an outside contractor (PUS, email [protected]@puls.com). They fixed the problem (Motor Replacement & Parts) for $381.80. The protection Plan department informed me to contact the warranty department on Monday, Feb 14th. I did, the agent told me they could not reimbursement. I need your help in resolving this problem.
Desired outcome: Reimburse for service rendered by Pus.

Frigidaire 27 inch Double Oven
My name is Jefferson Davis, Serial # AF14502429, Model# FFET2726TS. I purchased a Friigdaire Double Oven, and a Frigidaire Dishwasher on November 10, 2021, at Home Depot in Morrow. At the end of January the upper oven stop working, so I called and spoke to one of your representative, and explained to her the situation, and she hung on me. I then called back and received another representative by the name of Anna, so she said. I then proceeded to explained to her that the oven was not working, she then called B & H Appliance, and made a appointment for 2-7-2022, between the hours of 8-12pm. She also stated that I had to call them to verify the appointment which I did. When 11:00 A.M. came i called B & H Appliance, and asked were they still coming, because it 11:00. He then proceeded to ya ya they coming. 2:00 P.M. came and no one has showed up, I then call home Deport to file a complaint, because that's where I bought the products, and was the told that I could not file a complaint to them, but to Frigidaire, but they would call. I held for 30 to 45 minutes, and was disconnected, probably purposefuly. Has I writing this complaint I am still holding at 3:33 P.M. My oven is still not working, and B & H Appliance has still not called.
