I took my 10 year old niece and my 12 year old son to Golden Corral on Friday the 6th to be told that the kids eat for 99 cents deal is only Monday thru Thursday but the ad does not reflect this and it is non sense. That is false advertising to get business and I will be going to the BBB on this. If your ad runs on TV and internet stating through July 22nd Kids eat for 99 cents then I should not have had to pay 8.99 per child that is ridiculous

I went to Golden Corral on Watt in Sacramento I was excited to go but not anymore they ruined it for me . I had a plate with fish red beans and rice corn corn bread and string beans . I took a bite at the fish and a couple bites of string beans and I lost my appetite . I then asked one of the servers about taking food home but they said I have to pay separately I explained my situation of losing my appetite she said to talk to the assistant manager so I went and talked to her and she told me the samething the waitress told me but she went and talk to the manager he said the samething . I called the manager unsatisfied unhappy cause all I wanted was something worth the 18 dollars I've waisted they did absolutely nothing didn't look like they cared at all long as they had they money nothing I said mattered . I'm very upset about my 18 dollars of nothing .

The ownership of this restaurant seems to not be trained on how to treat their employees and are working them out of class and will not pay them their worth! There maybe some sensitivity training needed for the owners as they may have some prejudice against people of different race or sexual preference.
To put management responsibilities on a $11.50 an hour employee and then call them on their off time to complain about things at the restaurant, is harassment! I see a lawsuit coming to the franchise and Golden Coral Corporate for allowing such practices.
Such a great up and coming restaurant to have a franchise being manage like this is unbelievable this isn't a third world country. I understand they water down the hand-sanitizer and are paying their employees on a holiday with a paper check. What a morale booster.
All it takes is one location with employment practices like this to ruin you name in the industry. I suggest you investigate this soon!

Went to the golden corral located on hiway 183. It was stifling on one side of the restaurant. Complained and of course nothing was said or done. Also put the yellow packet sweetener in my tea, and my mouth felt really gritty, whatever was in was bad. I use that sweetener all the time. Yesterday was my birthday, I won't be returning. People like to be comfortable when they go out to eat. Types of food were not marked to show the type of food that was there. The person ( servant) that was refilling tea and such, disappeared for over 30 min. He made sure the Hispanic people got the service. This place needs new management. Dessert should have more variety. Ice cream machine was down. Wish I would have gone to a another restaurant.
The bathrooms are always nasty. They don't care about the customers. Never see any managers. They are hiding in the office

Dangerously undercooked chicken legs, watery cheese sauce, steak was more fat &grizzle, cold and no new steaks were put on the grill. A stack of cooked steaks were put on a pile next to the grill, and guests were served those cold pieces. Fried ravioli been sitting there for the better part of the day, (unchewable, very crunchy) along with some round hushpuppies that were split open, had dried out. The fajitas were all vegetables, definitely not as pictured. Chips were burned, carrots dried out, it was an insult and a waste of food. Way less selections than other Golden Corrals. I spent $93 for 5 and I would have left immediately but my guests (2 kids and 2 adults) were hungry so I stayed. Complained to manager who gave me a coupon for 1 buffet. One of the cooks called me Mama which is a Haitians way of addressing their people, which ticked me off even further. Close this place down or get a manager who doesnt skimp and knows how to run this place. Location: 11701 International Drive.

I visited the Golden Corral in Rosenberg, TX on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. My pregnant daughter and two grandchildren also were with me. We went in about 6:00 p.m. Upon arriving we went to fix our plates. The baked potatoes were cold and one of them was moldy looking. We asked at that time for some more potatoes. Several people were also looking for baked potatoes. After about an hour being there, no potatoes were placed on the spot. Also, my daughter asked about the chicken. It was cold. There was no fresh chicken placed out within the hour span. I kept checking. I ate the chicken as I don't eat beef or pork. No baked chicken. I was very disappointed with the service and the product. I ate the food that was available. A few hours later my granddaughter and myself became ill. We are still not feeling well and today is June 28, 2018. The food was not replenished properly and even after asking we were not told they were not replacing the potatoes. That is a new location. I have been twice and both times the quality of food is not your standard delicious Golden Corral food. I will not return. I used to drive to Houston on Highway 6 location. It is always excellent. I called this morning to complain and left a message to the Texas Office. I haven't received a call as of yet. I spent $31.00 and am absolutely frustrated and upset. Please resolve. We went to Golden corral on a Saturday and we got there at 9:30 and we had a big party that was attending and the lady told me that we would get the breakfast price as long as everyone was there before 11 which everybody was and then when we tried to go pay she did not charge us a breakfast price, she charged us the lunch price and she was very rude she didn't wanna talk to me she tried to ignore me and the general manager that was there was just as rude and he refused to honor what the lady told me about us getting the breakfast price and he even threatened to call the cops on me.

I came in a little after 8pm with my uncle who has never been. For the 2 of us my bill 30.83. One senior and one adult with 2 waters. I was seated and eating around 8:45 when I had to ask my server for water. The second time I just got up and asked for it myself. I was eating the meat with rice but it had no juice or gravy in the lan so it was dry. I asked the lady behind the area for gravy, and she replied in poor broken English that she didnt cook it and she proceeded to walk away. She never said let me get someone. Another customer commented that she had asked her about the pot roast and that she mumbled something and walked away. Anyway the manager came and made some gravy with some hesitation because it was near closing time. He said some people make it with too much gravy. Ok so the answer is no gravy. So he gives me some and it is too strong. Then he tells me yes because it cooks for 30 to 45 minutes. Then why the hell would you give to me after warming it for 5 minutes. Then my server reaches over my plate to refill the sugar after he been cleaning tables. No excuse me or nothing. I don't know what he dropped in my plate. I stopped eating at that point. The ham was beautiful but the lady didnt know how to cut it cause it was so damn tough. The steak smelled so good but I didn't know well done meant burnt. It was black as an ace of spade. The corn was hairy then, well it was hair. So others weren't. The corn was good and tender the way I like it. The day after a holiday is the worst day to eat out. I could have cooked and out 30.00 in my car for gas. I will not it again. Hire more cooks and people who speak English. I am all for everyone but damn be able to say something. The manager is Juan and the lady name is maybe Inez.

I went to golden corrall for my birthday on may 26 2018 and they charged ne extra money for over ten people really this is out if order abd I want my money back every time I go the bathrooms are fifry and food is too salty. Stop serving that big chicken brest and pit some legs and wings in please. I also had a worker scream at me abd my friend like we were kids bad business people. It would be righr to do right by people. Don't nake a difference in color if you dont like me then quit the job. Stop decriminating against people. If I had did that I wouldnt have a job.

Me and my family went to the Golden Corral in Bensalem.It was Sunday May 20 I had my three year old with me. The waitresses had was horrible I said to her I needed a plate that wasn't so hot like the plates was extremely hot where I couldn't hold it take in mind I had two plates because I was getting the baby food she never brought our dromkdytil almost 35 minutes into the lunch so I know she wasn't omg gimme back fir refills a guy who was cleaning up the tables went out of his way to get us refills that was my first time there I just feel like your personal conversation should not be so loud that u couldn't wait on your customer horrible service

Last night (March 21, 2018) me and my fiancé arrived at the restaurant to eat. We were charged 13.99 for our food and 2.29 per drink each. After sitting and eating our first plate we talked about how lovely the atmosphere was. I am currently pregnant and was starving when I entered the restaurant. Feeling a little upset in the stomach I swiftly walked to the restroom to vomit. On my way back to my table I walked past a female worker who seemed upset. I continued walking and looked over at the food bar to see what I would fix on my next plate. Since I had just lost all of my previous food, I was hungry again. I noticed missing items. I sat down and my fiancé informed me that a gentleman who had come to have a family dinner was upset. He was upset because he paid $53 and the food bar was being broken down. When he confronted the first lady, they told him they will cook his food fresh and that was why is was being done. He noticed that the "fresh" food was the same food that had been recently taken away. Who knows where that came from? I noticed the bar being broken down before going to the restroom. I told my fiancé that I was sure they weren't supposed to do that until the last customer is gone. He told me the man questioned the behavior and stated he didn't pay so much for half a bar. My fiancé went to get another plate of food, but was not satisfied because he wanted something that was taken. There were employees on the phone and seeming to breakdown the ice cream machine. Employees where walking around with to-go plates getting food and eating before I had even went to the restroom. This behavior I have never seen. The nice fella had asked for a manager twice. No manager came to see what was going on. Eventually my fiancé asked an employee by the name of Jason if they were going to get him an manager. The fella said he was just going to see how long it would take for a manager to come. Jason replied he went to get a manager. My fiancé and I left after being so upset. We had been lied to. We watched Jason after the encounter with the very patient man. He talked to a cook, no manager. That second plate I fixed to replace my first, didn't have what I craved to eat. Because it was taken, the second plate was left barely touched.

My husband and I went to a family get together, our waitress Dianne or Diane was very rude, she kept putting her hands on my husband, on his shoulders, my husband had his arm around me, that should of been her first clue we are married, then my husband is bent over tiring his shoe, she put both her hands on the middle of his back an leaned over him, all I could think is wtf, I was completely speechless..again my husband said to me wtf is her issues...right before we are ready to leave she was none stop putting her hands on me and my husband, I said get your dam hands off of me and my husband, your too touchy feel on us so back off, she said, , what ever...omg..now I’m smoking mad I reported her to the manager told him this is completely unprofessional behavior, she is flirting with my husband, then I ended up in an augment with my husband sister who condone it, I told her where to go... plus when she would bring drinks to the table, she pushed her way in, rather then say excuse me...this is completely and totally unprofessional behavior...she definitely is older and knows right from wrong, husband said she is a dog!

went to golden corral in queensbury new york on 5/18/ 2018 the food was dried out asked for more bourbon chicken because it was dried out and burnt added more to the same pan, food wasn't fit for a dog to eat, changed from pepsi to coke and the prices went up almost $40 for 2 people when it use to be around $30 crazy we have been to this golden corral a few time and this was the worst food ever

Last night on Saturday May 12th I visited the Golden corral on gun barrel in Chattanooga Tennessee it was about 9:30 pm. I knew it was late and there was a big group of us so I entered the restaurant first to make sure that it would be okay for us to eat and that all food would be available before we all entered and I was assured yes. So, we all enter and tell the lady our drink order. We need 8 cokes. She tells me "Oh I was taking apart the soda machine" I apologized and told her sorry. So we proceeded to go find a place to sit and we were approached stating we can only sit in a certain section. Well there was only one large table and it was dirty. They acted like they didn't want to clean it off. I had to say excuse me we are a large group and we would like to sit together. So with an attitudes the guy proceeds to clean off the table. As we go to get our food a Spanish lady proceeds to put a steak and a piece of chicken on the grill for us and the grill operator tells her no he will not be cooking anymore. So we paid the price of the buffet with steak and grill foods but were not allowed to eat it. As I walk to the other end I realize that all of the salad and fruit bar was put up and we also were not able to eat that. So we make our plates with the available food
which was cold. As we are eating the manager approaches us and asks us if we are finished with hot food. We tell her No! So 5 minutes later she returns and asks me the same question again so even though we weren't finished eating at this point I was feeling uncomfortable and starting to feel like we weren't wanted there so I told her yes! So we scarf down the food on our plates and left. I asked before all of us eating if it was a problem that they closed in 30 minutes and if all the food would be available and I was assured yes and I asked because I was trying to avoid this. This was very bad customer service and I am really upset that I had to pay for food I couldn't even eat! They should have just told us that it was late and they were taking down the buffet! Instead I wasted $110 on food we barely got to eat!

Service was bad no napkins or utensils on the table table wasn't cleaned server never came back to refill drinks food was cold veggies were dried to the serving pans food on the floor a mess everywhere. Will never go there again or recommend it to anyone. Terrible service. Customer service wasn't very good. Couldn't find another person to help. Management wasn't around and no one knew where they were. No happy with the service of this place. Close it down. With 17 violations it should be closed.

Romelia (sp?) Took a deviled egg from the salad bar and ate it with her plastic gloves on. After she noticed me watching her, she removed her plastic gloves and washed her hands. Later tongs fell off the breakfast food line . A customer handed Romelia the tongs. She laid them on the silver food prep table where another worker was preparing food.
I wish the complaint board would stop sending me emails to tell me that this is too short. Where is the complaint section to complain about the complaint board. I have explained the situation. I have also contacted the restaurants manager.

Sat down to eat food I took only a few bites noticed hair on my plate told the waitress she said sorry then I told mtg he said sorry but didn't even come look or give my money back we eat there all the time I am disappointed cause I didn't even eat after that I lost my appetite anyway I feel like they should have refunded my dinner if they r any kind of company they would have resolved it I feel they should send me a coupon for a free dinner cause that was my hard earned money

My husband and I and my grandson 8 at your restaurant in Burlington North Carolina Huffman Mill Road Saturday evening April 21st 2018 around 8 o clock in the evening. We paid $51.08 to eat there and as we proceeded to get our food let me tell you it was the nastiest looking food I ever saw the only thing fresh that they brought out while we were there was fried chicken the mashed potatoes Chinese food the Mexican food the barbecue they had pulled barbecue they were all dried up and nasty the salad bar was unacceptable it was disgusting looking. We ate there about 2 years ago and I swore would never go back there to eat because it was nasty then I said well let's go and the experience was worse than the other time so I won't be back. You really need to check on your restaurants because they are really nasty they don't change the food out they are not clean the kitchen was nasty you could see in the kitchen it was just nasty you're the people that were preparing a food were not pleasant at all they're just nasty I'm sorry you need to really check on your restaurants! The only good thing about that restaurant was our waiter he was very pleasant his name was Jorge. Went there w 4 adults an 2 kids...food on buffet was cold an overcooked. Had been setting there for awhile. Ordered a steak an had to return it twice because meat was so tuff...chicken i got was pink in the middle an not cooked completely. .got no refill on drinks..ask for a manager an never seen one...bill was over 65.00..pd an left having a awful experience. .will not go back an we went there quiet often...customers lost because of bad service

Our family went to Golden Corral in April 2018. Three out of four of our family members were hungry and were going to eat. One family member had just eaten and wanted to sit with the family, as families do at any restaurant. We were buying four drinks. We were told at the register that our one family member could not enter the restaurant without food purchased. We were told that the family member had to buy at least a to go meal in order to enter.
I am file this complaint because all restaurants allow a person to come in and be with their family member without a food purchase. We at least purchased a drink. This is poor customer service. Our family has been soliciting Golden Corral for as long as we can remember, moving into the community in 2008, for over 10 years! We will have to reconsider using this establishment in the future and will let others know.
