I have spoke with the management several times in the past then contacted the N.C. corp office several times with my complaint. The waitresses stack dirty dishes on a table and continue until several tables are covered with dirty dishes. I don't eat there any more because of the unsanitary conditions. I have even had a waitress get food from another table on my receipt when she wrote her name on it. I eat at a place next door to them on occasion and that place has a parking lot that faces Golden Corral. I went there today and when I parked I could see dirty dishes stacked on the table by the window higher than the window sill. I wonder if the public area is that dirty what does the kitchen look like

Hi, My Name is Beverly Compton.. Me and my son Travis Compton 22 Yrs old ate at your establishment today for lunch about 1:06p. m. Do not normally go because it is so expensive to eat there but we wanted some real food today not junk. but that is what we got but just cost a whole lot more.. it cost me $25.72... to eat cold chicken hard rolls you could play drums with on the table and I did it for the waitress and she said sorry oh well that excuses it. after one today they still had breakfast out and that took up room for them to put any vegestables out there were none. the only thing I ate there was worth eating was the bannana pudding. even the apple pie was raw dough the apples were so hard you could not eat them I think they were still frozen. you see I am writing because I want a refund. I even spoke to the manager and guess what he did not care either. this is not right this ruined our whole day. for me and my son... me and my son actually left there hungry and that is not cool. my address is P. The issue I encounter was the following- I asked the mgr on duty for fresh fish/chicken, he kindly made it a point to ask a staff member named Ablina to refresh the food. When he returned to the cooking station, Ablina was extremely disrespectful by criticizing him making several personal comments towards him speaking "espanol" .. to make matters worse when I used a napkin to use the tonsils and reached for the chicken she brought out, she also criticized me with her co-workers. I simply walked-away and immediately adived the mgr on duty of her unacceptable behavior. The mgr on duty has always been very courteous and professional, there was NO NEED for her to be so crude and mean!

gagging on a plastic bag scene a no management response
Was eating barbecue when a 2 and 1/2 in plastic bag scene got caught in my throat I was able to dislodge it clean it up and handed it to a waitress named Sarah but was wearing Darsey name tag cuz she forgot her and gave her my business card and told her to have the Management contact me as I was unable to eat anything at all after that incident nobody contacted me so then I tried contacting corporate three phone calls and still no return call I believe I'm entitled to a refund not only for my meal but for my hubby's meal because he was unable to enjoy it after that incident and for about 24 hours my throat was very irritated
But your husband still kept eating even though he didn't enjoy it? I doubt they would give him a refund because of just that.

On 2/22/2018 I wrote to Golden Coral but haven't heard back.
Today 2/25/2018 I called Golden Coral in Milford, CT since I received the form the manager Shawn told I was supposed to get and fill out but it came to realized the form he sent me is an "Incident Report" that he was supposed to fill out not me.
I called at 10:55am this morning was told he was not in until 12pm. I called back at 12:30pm left a message for Shawn never heard from him. I just called again at 6:50pm has been on hold for over 15 minutes waiting for him.
I called again was told he was to busy, this is the 3rd call and the 2nd message I left him today and as of 7:06pm he has not spoken to me. I was told he will be calling me before the end of tonight. We will see if he does.
I need this issue to be solve and would appreciate someone to get back to me.

To Whom It May Concern:
On Sunday 2/18/2018 we visited the Golden Coral located in Milford, CT. To tell you the truth Golden Coral is one of our favorites restaurants but in this visit were are very disappointed.
The food was awful, salty, over cooked and dry just to mention few things. The place was dirty, the labels on the foods didn't match the foods under them, the soup station was awful dried and salty, the place was under and short of staff just to mention few of the things we saw.
We waited on line for over 20 minutes to find out there were plenty of empty tables and the person assigned to sit up people walked out because she was overwhelm. It was very sad seeing our waitress with one or two more waitress running around like a chicken with the head cut off since they were under staff, we have never seeing anything like that. She was not only the waitress, she was cleaning the tables etc., The bathroom didn't have toilet paper, there were not extra forks, knifes or spoons or plates to choose from.
I spoke to the manager about all of these but even the manager was over stress running around. On the ice cream station the gummie bears station was broken. I saw a kid putting her hands in it few times, that is unsanitary. Waiting for water, sugar, plates, utensils, paper towel etc., that never came in.
To top it all after leaving the restaurant my son and his girlfriend ended it in the emergency room with food poison.
I spoke to Shawn the manager on Monday and explained what took place. He is in the process on sending me papers to see if the restaurant pays for the ambulance and medical bills for my son and girlfriend since they got sick after eating there. They eat few things different that they eat and the doctor feels is what cause them to become sick.
I want to get back the $63.77 that we paid without the tip since the poor girl is not at fault. Besides paying the medical bills since eating at your restaurant cause them to get sick. The service, the food and the place was no worth it, we will never go there again.
I will wait to hear from someone about getting back to me in regards getting my money back for the $63.77 for now. Pending the medical bills.

rude customer service from hostess and manager
Went to Golden Corral spent 75 bucks for our family. It was busy they were seating people instead of letting people seat themselves which is understandable. However we didn't want the seat they tried to seat us at and I asked can we wait for the next available seat for our number of guests. The hostess huffed and puffed rolled her eyes and told us to move off to the side. She then proceeded to call other groups with our number of guests and seat them but bypassing us. I questioned her and she rudely stated "I told you it would take a while". Rolled her eyes and walked off. We spoke with the manager who was just as bad as the hostess and with no help from him we asked for our money back and left. This rudeness at this location has been the last few times we've gone and it makes me question even going back. Especially when you have managers who don't even care. Hostess name was Flor and manager was Chris.

I visited one of your stores on 2/8/2018 @ 4:00pm. I asked the young man if he could put some smaller peices of fried chicken out. He told me with a smirk on his face, that it would take 15 minutes. He then walked to the back and told another young man that I asked for some chicken, that young man then said " where do she think she's at Burger King"? I asked Mr. Polk a young man I knew worked there, to tell the young man that I knew very well where I was and I can ask for anything I please when I spend my money. The manger came over to me and asked to pay for my food and I told him No! I wasn't looking for a free meal. The manger never went to the back to talk to the young man or ANYTHING, he just saw a mad black woman and figured I would be okay with a "FREE MEAL" I am not your common Black Woman I give respect and I demand it back! If I wanted to go to Burger king then I would have gone there! That employee was rude and disrespectful. This was a place I frequently visited but today was the last day! Will not return!

I've been to my local golden corral a few times in the last couple months and I've noticed a few things in a couple places that are quite horrible in a business like golden corral where I would assume your employee to employee respect and integrity should be up to par, if not exceeding. I have noticed on many occasions that most of the staff have no issue arguing or getting generally nasty with each other in plain view of all customers. Its uncomfortable. The Farmington, NM Golden Corral would be better off closing than see anymore business in my city. I strongly feel that even with a new general manager your store is long past a point of return. I would not recommend anybody go to eat a simple salad there for the actual fear of seeing yet another disrespectful dispute between a night crew runner such a Lisa arguing with a manager on shift. Or witnessing a great server, who is very clearly pregnant, fired by manager named Mike sending a server/ manager in training instead of being respectful and doing the deed himself. All in all I find Golden Corral to be absolutely revolting to be in or near and I will do my best in this small city to make sure everyone knows this.

Having a brunch on Sundays and Rosie are priced at 1599 for lunch it's just a money making scheme and it's wrong to do to anybody that wants to go to Golden corral on a Sunday for brunch I think you should reconsider cutting your breakfast off at 11 on Sundays and extending until at least 1 o'clock when every normal American would expect to have lunch until please reconsider your policy took my whole family to Sunday brunch today at Golden corral and was disappointed to have to turn around

My name is lisa I went to the Burlington golden corral me and my husband after we just had a bad snow storm yesterday. All I wanted was to get out the house and I called around and they were the only restraunt that was open that I love going to. Me and my husband was greeted by a Wonderful server denise. I always go to the salad bar to first before I get anything. As I approached the bar there was a Caucasian lady ( employee) at the bar talking to another guest about the weather as their conversation ended I asked her did she have any fresh tomatoes. Her reply was waiting a second. She comes back out with them and slams them in the container on the bar. I got my tomatoes and finished dressing my salad and walked back down to my table to try to enjoy my salad. My husband was still in line at the bar. He finally finishes and comes to sit down with me. Well the lady at the bar didn't know he was with me. She was talking about me to another employee. Saying I should have took my a** to walmart across the street for some fresh tomatoes. She also said I don't see why these [censor] people want to come out in this weather knowing its going to [censor] freeze Crazy a** people Now what way is that to talk about anyone. I was ready to go at that point me and my husband. I was trying to speak with the manager bill but he was on the phone so me and my husband left and went home. I didn't even finish my meal. I don't see how you all have rude employees like her working for you all. I will never return to this golden corral I will travel to Greensboro from here on out.

I would always go to golden corral in Aberdeen but now I stopped going due to the owner prejudices and a server who ignored refilling my drinks on three occasions. I told her that she was very racist and unprofessional
I actually gave a tip to the other white waitress who I had to call on to refill my drinks. I asked to speak to the owner only yo have a white assistant manager tell me that I complain to much and I am no longer welcomed. If everything was so crappy and they were racist there then why did you keep going back over the course of 6 months? Most people wouldn't return after the 1st time let alone multiple times over a 6 month period. I am sure it was the same owner from the beginning, probably same management as well. Not sure if you feel entitled to something or just love to complain. I personally wouldn't return to the same place I felt unwelcome the first time. I was at Golden corral last night with my kids. My son was not feeling great he had a slice of pizza then I'd told him to take the rest with him sense already pay for it. And my daughter did the same thing. The servers name was rosi. She was rude and never ask if we need it a refill which we did. My kids had to hunt her down and waited 20 minutes to get one. When she brought the refills she was rude. When I paid for a To go box with food. Was leaving with my kids she rushed behind us saying we didn't pay for the food. How rude when she never was there when we need it her then she's gonna ask if we paid for my kids to go boxes? Really . I had to paid twice for the leftover my kids have in their boxes a slice of pizza and brownie and marshmallows. She don't need to be working there.

Donna Embery Rice backed into my vehicle and gave me expired insurance information. The insurance had been expired since October 16th for non payment. Ms Rice looked me dead in my eyes and apologized for hitting my vehicle and assured me her insurance company would take care of me. I've tried contacting her at work, social media and she hangs up on me and doesn't reply to messages. I'm done being nice! I refuse to put this on my insurance. Game on Lady!

My family and I went to dine at your location at 2328 South Semoran Blvd. Florida on Christmas day, While the food and the busser (table attendant) where great the staff at the register surely lacked professionalism. One young man asked me if I understood him when he asked if I knew what I wanted to drink I guess because I was speaking to my family in Spanish since they do not speak English. Before I answered he said you have to order something to drink if you want to eat here. The young lady at the register wasn't much better. When I asked about the senior early bird discount for my wife and myself she didn't say sorry it is not in effect today she simply said "You will have to take the 10% discount" no explanation. Even after that she only gave us one discounted meal. Their where 5 of us and we all enjoyed the meal but it was a terrible start. I am a retired restaurant manager and realize that today's workers are not what they should be but a little sensitive if no politeness would be nice.

My family and I have gathered at the location on 75th st in Kenosha Wis. every Christmas eve at 1 pm. for the past six years. The management was always very good to let us have the room in the back because we always have at least 25 people and have gifts to exchange. As the years have gone by, the family has grown and we come from crivitz area to illinois. This year was very disappointing and we will more than likely finding a different place to meet next year thanks to the rude manager and a server there. We were told they couldn't hold the room this year, it was a first come first serve deal. So we all arrived promptly at 1 and went back to the room. At this point we were stopped by a female server who told us we couldn't use the room. We were told we would all just have to sit around in the back. No one was using it and when we asked why she said, "it wasn't available." we then went to speak to the manager (Who was the only one without a name tag so we didn't get his name), but when we asked him why we couldn't use the room he very rudely said, they couldn't use up the room if only a few people were going to show up, it has happened before he said. We assured him that there would be at least 25 of us and we do this every year. He said, "it doesn't matter", he then said, "well go use it then" with a [censor] look on his face. I then told him that the servere had told us we couldn't, that the room was closed. He said she was probable holding for you guys and didn't realize it was your group. I said, do you have another group like this that comes in, I think she was just being rude as well, she didn't even bother to check. He then said, in a very sassy tone and with a nasty look on his face, then go use it! I have worked in the restaurant business for 32 years and if I had treated a customer like that, I would have been fired instantly! As a group, without the servers tip, we spent over $450.00 there. Our servers name was arnold and was a very good server with a pleasant and accommodating attitude. The manager there could learn a lot from him. We left at 3 p. M. And it was very empty for this time of year from what we have seen in the past, so you would think he would have welcomed us no matter where we sat! I also believed the heat in the room was deliberately turned up, the room was uncomfortably hot, more than it ever was in the past. I'm sure your corporation does quite well, but it will be almost 500 less at this establishment next year. Someone needs to inform there "manager" there he needs some lessons in customer service!

Went to eat at 7 30 pm and the food was dry unattended and nasty, told the cooks the salsa on salad bar was bad my wife had gotten some and it was sour I went to investigate and it was bubbling from the fomenting and a horrible smell, the salad bar had nothing left on it but what was left was wilted, for 43 minutes we were there no one attend it, the pasta on food bar was dried up and old when they refilled the dish they added to the old, the rest of the bar was lacking of any fresh food with nothing to identify what the dish was for the lack of place card, the floor was littered with food and trash, many tables went unclean for our entire visit as we also had to sit down at a dirty table, I also witness a man bringing supposed to be clean bowls and as he was stacking them he found a dirty few but instead of returning it to be rewashed he used his hand and finger nails to scrap the dried food off and returned it to the clean stack there was a small bit of food that was good but stopped eating as results of the countless things going on when I asked the cook if there was any rolls he never spoke but with rolling eyes walked away
From me also when I spoke to waitress about the sour salsa she said okay but never spoke to
anyone because 30 minutes later as we were leaving I removed the dish so no one else would try to eat it I have never seen such disregard for service and found this visit to be a complete waste of my money thank you and if you need to contact me feel free to call me [protected]
taste and quality of food (fried chicken)
I and my wife went to Golden Corral in Independence Missouri. We had to wait a long time with nobody in line ahead of us. This was Sunday approximately 4 to 5 pm. Once we sat down, we had to wait for a waitress to bring a highchair for my granddaddy.
I went to the buffet, to get some fried chicken, shrimp kabobs, and fish. The fish looked as though it was having some issues. The cook was only giving out one kabob, and that was after I waited almost five min. The fried chicken LOOKED nice, but when I bit into it, tasted like burnt grease. At that point, I was ready to go. My whole meal was done by then. I was too frustrated to talk to anyone. I come to this location with my family no less than four to five times a month. This was not acceptable.
