Green Dot green dot customer representative complaint

Hi. I booked a hotel on hotwire June 13 2017. The website messed up my reservation somehow so hotwire refunded me and said it could take 7 days. I told them i couldn't wait that long because my children and i need a place to stay tomorrow. So they said your bank can expedite it. So i called customer service at first he did tell me that he couldnt do it but he started to look for the amount and it had not posted yet he told me that the transaction need to be on your account before he can reverse it. He told me to keep checking it to see if it post and call him back at he will reverse it. So i could have been looking for another option but i waited and when i checked my account it was now showing as negative as it had been withdrawn. So i called Greendot and told the other person that i was advised to wait until the money shown on my account as negative and he would reverse. The new person told me that was impossible but now his inconvenienced caused me and my children to not have anywhere to stay tomorrow.

Green Dot very unhappy customer

I would have never purchased a green dot card the only reason why I did is because the currency exchange I cash my checks at carry this piece of crap card first off I've filed a dispute and did everything I was supposed to do and they tell you ten days we'll let me tell you it's been two weeks still no answers then on top of that they charged me for a new card when I never asked for one and then to top it off my account is negative $10.09 how is this possible and it's pre paid card I have zero transaction for that amount on my transaction history I call them and they're just as clueless as I am all I can say is I'm very unhappy with this card I'm going back to net spend

Green Dot customer service/ holding funds

My funds are being held due to a block on my card which the corporate manager said it was no fault of my own.. i submited excatly what was asked for which was my idenfication card.. All the supervisors as well as corporate manager were all very rude hung up in my face more than twice on several different occasions. This is a pre paid card and funds on that card are mine and were not giving to me by green dot...This place is sad and really put people through alot just to get there funds..

Green Dot green dot card

I purchased a green Dot card for my son in April. He was so excited to use his card. When he tried to use it for the 3rd time today he had a negative balance. We wasn't sure why until I called and it said he was charge a monthly fee for May and June. I was unaware of a monthly charge when I purchase the card. My son is so hurt that he can't use his card. I will never use this card again!

Green Dot prepaid card

Purchased 3 pre-paid cards for $395.00 each. One of the cards scratch off number was unreadable. I am unable to process a refund with them unless I have that number, which is now useless. The (800) number does not work. Please file a complain and any help you may provide in getting the refund for $395.00

Green Dot green dot card

My card was hacked and I had $300 stolen from me. When I reported it, the rep only wanted to disputed 2 transactions only coming out to about $80. I was told I didn't need my card anymore cause it was locked and they would send me a new one. I can not get ahold of customer care unless I have the card number and they never sent me a new one. I had $50 left on the old card but since the card is locked, gone & I didn't get a new one I got screwed out of money. I'm very unhappy with the customer service with green dot and would like a call immediately to resolve this issue. [protected]

Green Dot where is my refund check

I purchased several (8) Visa cards at local Walmart for week long trip. Tried to get gas at the same walmart for the cards were purchased at (after activating cards) ALL cards were declined... went back into the Walmart store was told there wasn't anything they could do about it. I called the [protected] every 20 to 25 days since 09/16/2016 the day I purchased the cards... I'm only able to speak with people in the Philippines, although the company is based out of California... I feel that this company not to be shut down.

Green Dot green dot service is excellent. representative is questionable

I love my Green Dot card but I cannot stand seeing the face of Steve Harvey as your representative! Unkind individual. Have you read the reviews on him? So what he has TV shows? He's a bafoon who degrades people disquised as humor. This individual should be researched thoroughly. You may reconsider having him as a Rep. He is rude to people. He has kept the mother of his child in poverty after cheating on her. He forced her signature on the divorce papers after having her locked up first for no apparent reason other than he's wealthy and can pay people to do it for him. This is all public knowledge, not heresay or gossip. He just recently fired his staff without warning but had someone else do it for him instead of being a real leader. There is an investigation being launched into the forged signature and people being paid to engage in unscrupulous acts. He was ordered by a judge to take anger management classes but refused to follow those orders, probably because he has money and thinks he is above the law, as usually is the case. This is simply not an individual you want representing a wonderful company like Green Dot. I do not know him personally and don't care to, so I have no vested interest in this individual nor am I writing out of spite. It is more so as a warning. Again, please research what has been happening surrounding his life and decide accordingly. Thank you.

Green Dot walmart prepaid visa

Green dot is a terrible company that does not listen to their customers because they have no respect or appreciation for them. I had a Wal-Mart prepaid visa card for over 4 yrs and direct deposited my paychecks e/o week. I used the card for everything. I originally got it because of less than perfect credit but even after credit was cleaned up I continued to use it out of convenience. A few weeks ago i got scammed online by La' Cell. I ordered a free trial of their skin cream and agreed to pay $4.95 for shipping. After giving my card info the website added a free trial of eye cream to my cart and charged me $4.95 shipping for that without my permission. I called Walmart visa(green dot) and was going to dipute the charges until the csr told me my card would be cancelled and I would have to wait 7-10 days to receive a new one. I let her know I could not have my card cancelled because I had auto payments coming up along with a direct deposit to my card and bills to pay. I told her I would think about what to do and call back. This was 4/25/17. On Sat 5/6/17 I called the automated system for my card and was told it was an invalid card #. It prompted me for my ssn and then told me my dispute was denied. It said once the balance on my card was spent it would be cancelled and I could not get a new one! Wtf? After being on hold for 2 hrs I got thru to a csr and then a supervisor who told me there was nothing they could do. They said they would have Corporate call me Monday. I eventually talked to Michael at "Corporate". I explained my entire situation to him and that a dispute was filed in error after I told them not to file it. I asked him to pull the call to verify. I told him i wanted my card reinstated. He placed me on hold...he came back and said the dispute was denied and my card will be cancelled and there wasnt anything they were gonna do about it! I told him again I DID NOT FILE A DISPUTE...YOU GUYS DID IT BY MISTAKE. He did not care and was not listening to me. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said he was the highest up there is. I was so mad! This was at [protected]. So ungrateful and unprofessional. What a terrible company! That's ok P1FCU here I come!

Green Dot unauthorized credit card charges

I put 150.00 on my card on the 2nd paved cable of 100.00 an now it is saying I have 3.00 dollars on my card where did the 50.00 go I did not make any other purchases an money was taken off I want my money returned I work hard for my money an would like it returned.This is the 2 and time this has happened.This could cause me jail time that was my fine money.it happened on 05-03-17 I would like a refund of my money I don't understand how this could happen.I was assured that this was a good and safe card when I bought it and activated it by your representatives .So now I am having to go through all this hassle over charges I never OK'd

Green Dot my tax refund

I was suppose to receive 1576, on my tax green dot card. I received $1160? Where's my money. I just talked to my tax preparer whole amount was $1978, I should've received $1576 on my card. Also signed up for direct deposit when he completed my taxes, I didn't receive the $25 for direct deposit of taxes.😠. I'm missing a whole $[protected]@something dollars.

Green Dot greendot mastercard prepaid

I called to activate my greendot card with automated system. The system was slow or lagging during the call. It asked for a birthday my daughter entered hers not mine. The system stopped nothing was said to confirm the entered date. I called [protected] to give a address with the card. Because I have had many of these cards and knew I had to have a address with the card. They said they couldn't enter a address because the birthday entered was under 18. I told him it never gave a option to enter the correct date he just said he couldn't change it. The card could only be used in-store. And no withdraws. I will never purchase another greendot card again. When I buy a prepaid debit card almost alway Is for online purchase. And this card cant be used online.I will tell everyone not to purchase a greendot card. There are other cards that can be used, but greendot is not the way to go!

Green Dot prepaid card

Im making a complaint for a prepaid card i bought a few days ago. I mistakingly left my normal card home and purchased another to use lift rides. I completed all information but the card has a hold on it due to my name change over a year ago. The customer line said to submit my id to greendot download online but there is no such sight. Anytime i call back to customer service they place me on hold for over an hour. It just 40dollars give ME MY money back keep your card.

Green Dot green dot visa

I bought a $50.00 Green Dot Visa debit card today (4.14.17) for a $51.00 at Dollar Tree. When I got it home, I noticed it said you had to register it, and it would deduct $9.95 before any other transaction. So, I decided I didn't want the card. Dollar Tree's receipt gave a number to call for a refund (not Dollar Tree) at [protected].

I have spent the last 2 hours repeatedly calling that number, numbers for VISA, then the Green Dot corporate office that the lady at VISA at [protected] confirmed would help me. I called [protected], the number she gave me, and it gave me a machine message over and over, noting that they would be answering.

I have yet to speak with someone who will help me.

I truly would like my full $51.00 back. I definitely cannot recommend Dollar Tree, Visa or Green Dot after this scenario.

I called my card in stolen and my card was left open for another week.
All the transactions done on my account were unauthorized. I filed a police report and filled out dispute forms for the bank and emailed them within the time the bank allowed. The bank never held up the cardholder aggreement at all. They never contacted me about what was going on with my account of if they needed any other information. I called and talked to customer service and they were very unhelpful. They insulted me and accused me of fraud! I am now getting a lawyer and having the law handle the bank.

IS Green Dot Funding Terrorism ? There are NO safe zones ON the Internet in which one is able to use a Credit Card. It's amazing how far ahead the Scammers and Skimmers are in technology and anticipation of future technology. The security systems don't car - That's how they make money, keeping us buying safe guards and firewalls. I wonder how much of this technology is actually given to the scammers OR, as has been found before, some employees are scammers themselves. My ex was my Clinic Manager and after having the first two bank cards drained, we went with a low limit - meaning anytime we needed emergency supplies or new equipment to bring us up to the Standard of Care, she had to make a call to the main bank to alert them of the purchase and the amount. She even had to explain what it was to be used for and other details that wasn't there business. It would often consume as much as an hour to get access to our own money! The alternative was to call have a bill faxed then write a check and send back, wait for it to clear, then wait for delivery - maybe 3 to 4 weeks if we were lucky. Racks of PRE-PAID Debit Cards began to show up in the pharmacies and on to most retail outlets. I didn't give them any thought, so many gimmicks come and go, to me this was just another. My ex convinced me to try one for emergency items that was needed NOW ! We bought a Green dot Card and found no matter the amount their was a $4 + fee, which I NAIVELY thought, was how they made their money. Our accountant brought to our attention that there were several tag along fees to many purchases, every time the card was used. Inquires were made and they were FORIEGN Companies that we were told had a legitimate business interest in the transaction. No on ever would or could tell us what these four companies wanted with .32 cents per use and we were refused information about these companies. It is the art of Skimming, but must be in agreement with the Umbrella Company. When I asked if Green Dot might somehow be evolved is when my card was drained over and over. The would connect me to a call center in Bangla, India and the person handling my complaint labeled it as a dispute. They then canceled my card and sent a new one in 3 to 4 weeks. My accountant cautioned us to carry NO MORE than $100 dollars on any store bought debit card. It was possible that this was the most disguised SCAM devised yet. NOW they routinely SKIM you every month without the need for a purchace - all perfectly legal according towhat I could barely understand over the Phone. Following a bitter divorce I simply sold and moved. I kept the card and when I went to use it, of course it was drained. I called and received a new card about the usual month's wait. Then I received a rather poorly worded an somewhat hateful letter, I called to find out what was it they were actually trying to communicate to me - I only know English and a smattering of European phrases. I was directed to a robot voice that stated I was BANNED from EVER using a Green Dot CARD. Again with the calls and again with heavily accented voices telling me it was company policy. WHAT EVER THAT IS ! I calmed down and looked at the volumes of complaints - too much to take in as it was for the BBB who refuses to take them at all. I felt better and thought about it . Amazon can't be bothered, they are just too big to be bothered by people using an alternative method of payment. So now, I spend about 15 minutes to find the item elsewhere that is legit and has a phone/ address/and prior history of use. Just like going down the virtual block until I find someone that does want to make a fair exchange of goods and services for money. Like Everyone that has a Green Dot card either is new or doesn't review their statement ( found only online). I too lend my Voice to those that PLEAD with you DO NOT USE GREEN DOT PRE-PAID CARDS. Its hard to know who is SKIMMING your card and if Green Dot does anything about it OR do they know? I' don't let things go that are Un-American - Too much time and personal suffering in the Service to let this pass. I paid my DUES as an AMERICAN. I'm not about to let some Swammy cheat me - TIME is on my SIDE. A small issue to be sure, but one that I can bite off and chew. With attorneys in the family and a Pro- USA president, I intend to track these CRIMINALS down, as I stated in my OATH - Both Foreign and Domestic. If allowed I will start with a basic FB or other social media service and open up a page similar to this forum. Question Are we duped shepeople funding Terrorism with this - I'd like to know !

Green Dot my green dot card nascar

I pur $30.00 on it and unable to use the card when you call can't get ahold of no one .then when I did get to talk the lady told me I could use my card in a store and when I did try it the card was decline. Well then I went to purchase. Another card I got a gold debit visa card $25.00and can't use it either can't talk with no one .so I think I will be getting me a lawyer.

Green Dot prepaid walmart visa card

Green dot cancled and closed my account without reason or warning. I had a ballance of 299 that I no longer has access to. This is theft. I use this card for my gas, food and phone service. I've had the card over three years and without reason or warning they block and ban me from their service and steal 300 dollars. This is a horrible business to do this. If I was away on work when they did this, I would have been stranded . The sad thing is visa will do nothing to help, the logo means nothing. Stay away from this company unless you want your money stolen.

Green Dot my remaining irs refund

I have been trying to log into my account several times for the last two wks and I have requested passwords back to back. I really need sum info on why havent I recieved my remaining balance on my card yet, its been over two wks since i recieved a text saying that my remaining IRS refund will be direct deposited to my account within 24 to 48 hrs and i check the card everyday and its not posted on my card (the same card that posted my tax refund) whats goin on im lost please get back to me asap about whats going on. Green Dot one time password

I've been trying to login to my account to get my statements because I think I was charged for something and all my money is missing! I can't login to my account because every time I do it says one time password used and won't let me login in! I need my statement because my card has been charged numerous times! I had a balance of over 900 this morning from my direct deposit and now I only have 87 dollars. I keep getting notifications from amazon that they charged my card but not sure on what! I need to get into my account to see my transactions. Please help me
