Rude employee
Hi I was at H-E-B on south port on April 25,2023 everything was completely Awesome store had everything I needed and very organized. When I checked out your employee Diasy was very rude and disrespectful. She didn't greet me or say anything. She forgot a bag I was very upset I had to drive back to the store. She didn't apologize she said oh I gave it to another customer haha.
Desired outcome: Just want to check out with a friendly employee!
Lack of sitting benches for older customers
The HEB store in Beeville, TX 78102 removed it's bench for older customers to sit and rest while waiting for family members while shopping. This bench was used by older customers like myself who are elderly and unable to stand and/or walk for any length of time. Approximately two weeks ago, I complained because the staff removed the only bench available for us according to a manager at the request of a customer disregarding the needs of elderly customer s. I am here today sitting in the pharmacy waiting because, my wife takes over an hour to do her shopping and it is too hot outside to wait in the car or the bench outside. Most major stores now provide benches at the inside front entrance for customers such as myself (74years). I am sure that HEB can surely provide such a service for it's elderly. Thank you for reviewing my concern.
Desired outcome: Sitting area for elderly that don't want to sit at home while their significant other is away for hours to shop at HEB.
Home made, Tortillas
. The plastic liing in between the flour tortillas are almost always wrinkle or twisted not flat, therefore the tortillas stick one to another creating a soggy tortilla. another thing about your tortillas they are not a consistan round shape, they are oval, half oval or most of them uneven, therefore unusable to make tacos or burritos. This been a problem for a long time and, 1 out of 5 packs of 20 count I had a problem. Please take care of this issue as an elderly in a fix income I cannot afford to waste money in food. Thank you for your time and effort To resolve this issue.
Not getting all products on multiple occasions
I’m completely fed up with H‑E‑B in San Angelo, Tx. There has been several occasions where they have not given us everything we paid for. They have also given us molded produce on numerous occasions as well.
Last night, 4/10/23, we picked up our order and we had molded strawberries, molded bell peppers, they did not give us our bread or our bagels.
This is definitely not the first time they have not given us all of our items and we have called and had to ask for refunds and half the time they don’t. It has gotten out of hand and it needs to be looked into, because I’m sure it’s happening to other people. it’s theft.
Desired outcome: Fix it and reimburse us for all the things we have been shorted over the last year and a half.
Hcf hickory smoked spiral ham
Purchased spiral ham on 4/6/23 12:53. On 4/8, cut netting, plastic wrap, to discover a deep/huge l-shape chunk missing which covered by packaged seasoning. I'm extremely disappointed and several guests asked if i had cut the chunk out to season another dish. I took pictures of the ham as well as the label and bar code. I also saved my receipt.

Trimmier Door people
I have been shopping at the trimmier store since it opened. I became handicapped about ten years ago. In the past up till a few months ago the door person would be looking around see me and bring me an electric cart (which is required as I only have one leg). Recently the only individuals on the doors have been young ZOMBIES. They stand at the door in a trance. Lack of quality customer service means a lot to me and other mature handicap individuals.
Desired outcome: Please put a helpful person on the doors, keep your zombies for staring at something the needs staring.
Return policy of merchandise!
Elderly are the fragile part of sociey, need to be respected NOT marginalized by store management! When it comes to having to give receipts it comes in a bag with HEB on it they take it to extremes! When you reach 70s in the machine spit out your receipts in the floor behind the registers is it your fault you didn’t get one? When they bag your groceries an a bottles leak on the receipt and there’s nothing there to read is it your fault all of the stores?
You should error’s on the customer’s side! Isn’t The customer paying your salary? What he buys from your store and not somebody else’s! Doesn’t your paycheck come from the sales of merchandise?
Bible says Honor the gray haired for they came before to prepare for what you have today.
(We built the country that’s what I understand.) I’m 70 now!
So why do I feel ignored humiliated and betrayed by the people that I have bought from over the decades living in Texas. Don’t I deserve respect?
Desired outcome: Should fix their machines be respectful to their elders and let me return exchange it for food. STOP TRACKING US BY DMV LICENSES! Times are tough for the elderly, we need help... I pay cash.
Car wash
Yesterday Monday March 27, 2023 around 8:50pm I went to the car was at Texas Ave in North Bryan. I got the ultimate was for $14. The first problem that I notice was that the machine when it started sounded horrible like a loud sneaky noise and it lasted for the whole washing. Also, when it was the time of cleaning my car tires I saw the brush going towards my door instead of the tires. The result of the squeaky noise and and the brushes don’t working properly resulted in scratches all over my car, and didn’t clean up properly because there are still some spots dirty. I would really like a refund and to close that car wash to get it fixed because it’s clearly malfunctioning.
Desired outcome: I would really like a refund and to close that car wash to get it fixed because it’s clearly malfunctioning.
Rude employees. I got charged for things I didn't get.
I always shop at HEB in Orange, Texas, I've never had a problem, and all the employees are so sweet and helpful. Unfortunately, though, on March 22nd around 9 pm, I was grocery shopping and there were, I believe, 3 employees left when I was at the cashier line. Two of them were very rude to me. They both were so unprofessional. I don't know their names, but I will say the cashier was black and the one packing the bags was a white woman. They were both young, but the white lady looked younger. I never include race but that's the only way I can identify them. Usually when I shop here, I get sodas they ask how many, they check, and they scan it. Well, the woman wanted me to lift every soda box to her so she can scan it. Each time she said something, it wasn't nicely, and she would look and smirk at the other lady. Since when, is being rude something funny? The other lady though kept asking for the cart to be moved to her when clearly, I wasn't done putting things up. Usually, the employees grab another cart and I end up with 2 carts because not everything fits. Well, I gave her the cart, and a white older lady (employee) was going through and said 'excuse me' which I moved the cart a bit forward and obviously let my child go out the cashier line so she can pass. The young white lady though, said 'can you move'. Also, I got charged for extra things. I got one pack of bacon and the receipt say 2 packs. Also, I got charged for a wagyu steak, but I didn't even get steak. The only meat I got was 2 packs of fajitas which is already listed on the receipt. They even forgot to put one bag in my cart, and I realized when I got home and put everything away. I live in Louisiana, and I drive 40 minutes just to shop here because its affordable and I loved the way employees were. HEB has a high reputation in my opinion and it's very sad that these women were taking advantage because they were 'the last' employees there before closing. The whole experience was uncomfortable, and I was trying to keep it together since I had my kid with me.
Desired outcome: Honestly firing the employees seems ideal to me. The cashier charged me extra and even added things that I did not even place in my cart. On top of that she was rude. The other lady was just mean. My email is [protected]@gmail.com
Hill Country Fare Sour Cream (Regular)
I recently purchased your 16 OZ container of the above-named sour cream. As I've used some of your other private label products, I thought I'd give it a try. I'll not be buying this again. Compared to the Daisy label, it was like eating "nothing". No discernable flavor, just no taste. Major disappointment.
As many of your private label item prices have increased significantly, and in some cases, exceed trusted name brands, I'm seeing less and less reason to try your labels.
Chris Bixby, Sandia TX
Desired outcome: Just FYI, not expecting a response of any kind, always assures satisfaction.
Manager following me over service dog
I was at the new HEB in cibolo and I was harassed over not holding the leash to my Service Dog. I was approached by one manager and I informed her that I did not have to tether my service dog. She tried citing Cibolo/Shertz laws to me and I told her that their laws do not supersede ADA laws. At no point was I asked what her task were instead an error in judgment to quote laws to me was made. She also stated it was more so because of my dogs breed and I informed her it is illegal to discriminate against a service dog because of the breed. she also stated there had also been another incident of the same manner over a different service dog. As I went on I noticed a different manager kept passing in front across the isle but not coming down the isle watching me. When I got to the next isle he followed me to that isle then approached me trying to tell me my service dog needed to be tethered and I again informed him the same as I did the other manager that had approached me. After me making the statements he finally decided to ask me what her task were then went on about his way. Which should have been done upfront before either one decided to harass me about my service dog. It is illegal to discriminate a service dog because of their breed. She was not causing any issues, being unruly, she wasn’t in anyones way or anything of the sort. Not to mention she had been sitting most of the time I was being followed because I was looking at items on the isle. You should educate your employees on ADA considering it is a felony to bother someone with a service dog and keep them from doing their job as you are hindering the service dog from working and paying attention to my health. Unless you guys want an ugly lawsuit at some point time I would highly suggest you educate your staff.
Desired outcome: Educate your staff I will not be returning to this location ever,
Curb side pickup
I went through your store ad and purchased 6 items w specials- buy chicken get seasoning free, $5 off strip steak package, $ $ off for taste of San Antonio coffee, and so on. Arrived for curb side pickup and got home w zero discounts or specials. Basically you robbed me of over $20 with no way at the curb to complain or resolve
With this much wrong, you would of had the entire order refused by me
This sucks
Never curb side again and maybe no more H‑E‑B- your new owners screwed up this once great store

Desired outcome: How can we fix it now? I am home and just getting to see my receipt

I just came from HEB#33/551. The terminal @ self check out lane had issues and the person who was helping was a high school kid named Sally. After several difficulties with the College St. location. I decided to change location to the Dowlen Rd. I had my office visit Tuesday and had all my RX forwarded to the new location. On February 14, 2023 at 2:59pm, I was at the register and noticed the Mrs. Baird's single honey bun rang up $1.50 each. The price underneath the product was labeled as $1.00 in which I bought two. After paying for the items I went back to that shelf and took a picture to show the manager that the items are marked with a lower price and I needed to know...

Just purchased the crunchy cat treats for my cat four different packets and my cat will not go near them and will not eat them. I have tried others which she enjoys and thought to try HEB because the cost was less, but she hates them. I shop at the HEB in Flour Bluff in Corpus Christi, Texas because there is no other competition in grocery stores in Corpus except Sprouts. HEB has a monoply on business here. I do like the store. Just wanted to let you know about your product. Also my daughter bought some HEB pork egg rolls and served them last night and they were awful too. Just letting you. know.
Desired outcome: exchange for regular treats she used to
Misleading packaging and marketing of product (ham) weight
On 1/11/2023 I submitted the following complaint to HEB through their website. HEB Customer Relations REf #HS2520389
I recently purchased an HEB boneless Spiral sliced ham w/glaze at the price of 4.99 per lb. Product weight was 5.30lbs at a cost of $26.45. I opened the package today to repackage the ham into smaller servings to freeze for future use. My kitchen scale was used to assist me in making equal portions. At the end of the process I had 5 packages weighing approx .83 lbs each for a total weight of 4.15 lbs. I then weighed the glaze packets and sure enough the difference was made up in the weight of the glaze package. Does anyone at HEB see a problem here? I am a long time very satisfied customer of HEB but this really set me back. I thought I was buying a 5,3 lb boneless ham not a 4.15 lb ham. Your weight is accurate but I think you might have some ethical obligation to inform your customer of the fact that the tare weight means you are paying the per lb price for packaging and whatever else is added to the package. I for one do not even like or use the extremely sweet glaze included so I really paid $6.37 for my ham and not $4.99 per lb as I was led to believe. 20% less ham. That is significant in my fixed income budget. My suggestion to you is to label your product accordingly, or better yet, sell the glaze next to the ham as an option for those who choose to use it.
---------------------
By 1/17 I had not received any response and made an online inquiry to which I received the following answer
Thank you for taking the time to reach out to HEB. We apologize for the delayed follow up.
I have shared your valued feedback regarding our HEB spiral sliced ham with others in management for further review.
Thank you for shopping with us, and we look forward to serving you in the future. We appreciate you and thank you for reaching out to us

HEB Customer Relations
This response was a typical non response template letter. My response back to Robert was that I look forward to being contacted by someone in upper management to discuss this issue.
By 1/27, with no reply, I called customer relations. A very nice representative spoke to me and basically informed me that management was notified of the complaint and justified the marketing by indicating that the packets are listed as included and that they had not gotten other complaints.
The premise of my complaint is that it is very deceptive, if not illegal marketing & advertising of the product and that I am sure that if customers were aware that they were paying over 4.99 per lb for glaze and not for ham HEB would likely receive numerous complaints.
Desired outcome: As a minimum HEB should provide a partial reimbursement to offset the loss of ham that was not received
Heritage ranch skin & digestive support adult chicken & oatmeal recipe
I purchased this cat food on 1/16/2023 for my cats because one of them has skin issues. On wednesday 1/18/2023 in the morning, I noticed several blood & saliva small puddles on the floor. I also noticed them not eating which is very strange for them. There is nothing different they have done or are doing. I have to think it is from this cat food and it has affected both of them. I have stopped feeding them the food and replaced it with what they used to eat which is Iams for hairball.
Desired outcome: I am taking both of them to the vet tomorrow. I will let you know what the outcome is. I hope & pray they are OK.
