I purchase 5 and 1 jumper charger. I had to return it several times. Mr Marshall was very rude. Threaten me .When I was upset about the transaction return policy. I called ahead of time. Mention I dont have my receipt. But with my phone number and name address. They found it online. Whuch they told me to come in.So I can return or exchange. When I spoke to Marshall. He didnt believe what I was saying.i called ahead of time. He embarrass me threaten not too exchange or return. The employee found my account while I was trying to convince Mr Marshall to look on the computer. Like what I did over the phone. He didn't want to very rude. When I told him this was unacceptable. Called regarding 4 in 1 portable power pack as manual states initial charge takes about 48 hours but once plugged in, green light (fully charged) came on after about an hour. No one answered the phone so after 18 minutes of waiting called another number and now I am on hold again at this number but it is the same redundant recording.
So if the green light is now now, should I discount the ac power cord or let it remain on for 48 hours even though the green light is on? I can be e-mailed a response at:

centech battery charge
Your product is miss leading and I specifically asked for a battery charger for a vehicle in case I am stranded, and need a battery charge. Just because I am a female, doesn't mean I don't know about products and or machinery. I brought a centech battery charger that was not specifically explained by your staff or manager when asked in the store the date of purchase. I will never shop in your store again. Your staff is not forth coming on explaining the products to customers. Your product item #60581 should be pulled off the shelf, it's worthless.
Your product is Miss leading and is of no help to a person stranded on the road. It should be pulled off the shelf. I specifically asked for a battery car charger that you can charge then take in your vehicle and if you have a dead battery you can hook it up to the car for a charge. I was then told today, by a phone rep on your toll free number that it has to be plugged into a wall, then clipped black to black and red to red and then it will work. Lol that's miss leading, so if your stranded it's over cause the product is no good at that point customers don't carry electricity on them.
Agreed that the customer should be more informed before buying something from HF but your attitude sucks dude! Why are you working in a retail setting if you do not know how to present yourself professionally? I would think upper management would terminate you immediately if they knew your true identity. That being said, after the response I received from your complaint department, I doubt they really care. I asked for a phone call to be returned after filing a detailed complaint and received a response saying they had to have the location of the store. The store happens to be the only one in the city I listed, so why do you need the address and why didn't you call? I have a hunch it is because you do not CARE! I will shop at Steve's Wholesale or Sam's or any other discounted tool supply before going back to Harbor Freight.
I have been working for Harbor Freight for 3 years now, and I have several things to say. First of all, LEARN TO READ! ALL JUMP BOXES MUST BE CHARGED BEFORE USE! Its a tool store, not AAA! Second, WHY in hell do you expect us to know every thing about every tool or item in the store? WE are there to SELL! Not to be your instructor on what you need or how to use it! I don't have proof but I do know that she is working with a group of people who are committing theft with in the store in Madera when she work there and in Los Banos and more less they steal it she lets him get away with it and then they both profit from the money they receive from the stolen items. She also can be very rude at times and pushes memberships on people in a rude way to gain commission

cordless chicago electric power tools
Two years ago, I bought four Chicago Electric Cordless Power Tools from Harbor Freight. Some of the batteries will no longer hold a charge. HF has discontinued this brand and no one else sales batteries for them. I have talked to some very rude HF managers that more of less told me, tuff luck. I doubt this will do me any good so next step is the Better Business Bureau.
I agree with you this is the worth company in the USA for customer service, I purchased the same set, and the entire tools are very poor quality, and the store manager will not help, and the main office they discontinue this brand of the tools and they sold product and the fail to stand behind it. I have power tools is about 10, 15 years old and nothing wrong with it

The management at this store is unfair. There is favoritism amongst the management down to the newest employees . Most of the employees there, well at least 6 of them have been there for lengthy amount of time and the manager has been there about 5 months and she is rude and shows favoritism . It is very unfair and I feel bad for the employees who have been there longer then she.
Call the HFT Outlet or your district manager directly. They don't monitor these sites so posting online won't do you any good.

You hve been bombarding me with Parking lot sale. Went SWaturday and found a chest in tent I liked and your representative offered me 60% off but said today would be 92% so I got up early and drove 25 miles to be there at opening. Picked the item in the parking lot tent and asked for 92% off as advertised by Corporation for a month. Said see manager. Roberto Aliceg. He said didn't Apply was not a parking lot sale item. But was in tent and party in charge who he hired and put in charge said it was. Got very nasty. Said ads were wrong and didn't read right. What to read Parking lot sale items in tent were to be 92% off Nope only items in store with purple label. the person in charge yesterday was wrong.
He was only an employee of corporation. To honor the offer would cost him his job.
I buy lots for HF and this will change. Will pay more and buy at Hardware and ebay and amazon. Will promote this rip off online and with all my contacts. Was owning own business for 50 years know social media and have lots of contacts.

6 ton pittsburgh jack stands
These jacks are a death trap! Good thing my husband had to reach back to get something before the truck fell and only got fingers! This could have killed him! Very loyal customers to harbor freight but this has me second guessing. Very upset! The one side of the jack wasn't even notched! Barely grooved as seen in pictures! One is almost completely smooth!

customer service.. extremely long waits to talk to a real person
I called customer service for help with a replacement part for my 12000 lb badlands winch. Waited 30 minutes to talk to a representative. It was a Monday. I commented on the extremely long wait, she said it was because it was a Monday. That same day I called numerous [4] others in an attempt to locate this part [5 pin din socket] .Not one of these other businesses had me on hold for any more than 60 seconds. They all were extremely helpful even thou they didn't carry the part, They tried to match it albeit unable. aAt this moment I am on hold..again.. this tims ..so far...31min. I would say that HF has significant problems with their products . just got answered and when i expressed my dissatisfaction was immediately put on hold again! this is how customers are treated. I spend thousands with HF to get treated like this? and now when i ask for a supervisor i get put on hold again. Well I finally got to talk to a supervisor..AJ..he listened to my complaint on the representative and said he would listen to our call, then we got to my original problem. Although I am not entirely satisfied, having to spend 100$ on a completely new contactor box for my winch, when all that is needed is a new 5 pin din connector{10$ or so.} AJ did give me a 40$ gift card. I think their associates need more training in customer relations.

I'm a full time employee that's been at Harbor Freight for almost a year, .. Almost. I started working out of a ten because Harvey blew half the store away, the first 6 months were filled with freezing cold, blistering heat, and venomous spiders, we just recently got the new warehouse, and the new store manager is cutting my entire teams hours for a month now. I've been scheduled part time for over a month and supposed to be getting full time hours, also cut another employee without reason or cause. He's now off of the schedule as well. After putting up with so many health violations and giving up raising my kids for half the year (single parent of two) they want to fire me for having the flu and not being able to call directly. Please fix!
HFT doesn't monitor these sites, contact them directly through the HFT Outlet... That's why it's there... Or else email/call your DM directly.

About 3 months ago a friend of mine purchased a 28 digree nail gun. Well I see u guys were bringing in a new line in. I believe the store should of mentioned to me I won't be able to purchase the nails anymore. I spoke to the store manager about it and I got treated totally wrong it was like he didn't care of my complaint. I spend a lot of money in the Daytona Beach FL. Store from pressure washer to nail guns I'm even a yr customer member where I pay 20 something a yr. I was very upset when the manager didn't care. I like ur store but after this it showed me the customer service don't care.
The store doesn't get forewarning of lines being discontinued. Products just go to clearance and sometimes they come back from that price point and some times they do not. Even if they did have the knowledge, it's a business. They're trying to sell things. Plus you can get 28° nails at most hardware stores, they're not specific to Harbor Freight.

Store number 00534 Jefferson City Missouri.
I received the flyer regarding their parking lot sale. I asked the associate the night before if everything outside in the tent was 92% off the prices marked on the box the next day. "Yes" he said. This morning I get there and the manager said it was only the purple tags that were 92% off. I picked out a few items, he then said those aren't 92% of the marked price, they are up to 92% of the retail price. He added what they don't sell today they will restocked and put back out for their next rent sale.
The flyer stated Sunday was up to 92% off and said "here are just some of the items".
No where on that flyer did it state up to 92% off the original retail price. Very misleading!
There were several customers who were also confused. I have purchased a lot of tools, tool boxes, several sanders, welding machine etc from harbor freight over the years. But I don't see myself going there for much other than to get the free items or small 1 item less than $5 purchase from now on. Right now I doubt I will even do that.
I am very disappointed not only with what I feel is misleading advertising but also the overall matter of fact I don't care if you felt mislead attitude of the manager. Russell was the associate that checked me out. He was very polite and apologized that I felt the flyer was misleading. I can't speak for the other customers who left upset but you lost one good long term membership holding customer today (me).

I have been to the Hagerstown md store 2 times since july4th tobuy the slap disk that's on sale and both times empty shelf! I went to front and asked and the cashier called mgmt and I was told truck didn't come in. Now come on that's hard to believe all that tome from 4th till today the 17th of July no truck? I have been shopping here since it opened but no more! If you can't keep products to even buy I'm super upset because I drive 40 mins one way to shop here

I used to love harbor freight. Bought some tools (albeit cheap), bought a trailer, got some free items. I was a good customer. These 25% coupons would bring me into the store. We drove out of our way to buy a shade tent for the beach. They turned down my coupon. I believe it's a false advertisement. There are 10 types of items and 18 different brands that you can't use this coupon on. Shame on harbor freight!

Had $10 dollars worth of tools to return with the receipt. Karen the sales clerk, and Dee or Dena harassed me and embarrassed me in front of customers. My blood pressure was not good. They really upset me in front of the customers. They disrespected me and harassed me. "Why are you returning these tools, did you use them, the package is damaged, I can't resale this stuff. On and On and On. Why are you returning these tools, what did you use them for. My God, give me a break.
They're required by policy to ask questions like that, other you're returning $10 or $100. I don't see any issues here.

oscillating power tool
Purchased tool I needed to cut out sheet rock. Receipt was sent via email. Used it once and turned it off. Went to turn back on and it wouldn't start. Went to store in Ithaca and was asked for receipt. Looked on emails and couldn't find it in my phone. Asked the cashier to look on her computer, which she did, and said she said she couldn't find it. She couldn't do exchange or refund without the receipt. Also said that the store computers only keep the receipts for 30 days but we have 90 days to exchange or refund. What the hell? 90 day policy is a joke if your receipts are sent email! Because of this, I will never purchase anything from Harbor freight again.
Also, I tried call customer service [protected] and all I got was a recording, that you could not leave a message on, so they could call you back.
employee accused me of being a thief
I went to the Knoxville TN Kingston Pike stor to purchase a impact wrench which was not on the shelf. I requested an employee which retrieved one from the store room. When he returned he stated he would have to leave it with the cashier. Not a problem but he went on to state we are close to the door and I dont want t you to take off with it. I have been a long time customer and a retired police officer with 43 years service. I dont appreicate being accused of being a thief. Store policy is fine but dont go further to insult customers and accuse them of being a thief. The manager even went so far as to say all customers are thieves is why she told her employees to leave tools at register.
If everyone is a thief I will no longer shop at Harbor Freight.

I Went to the store #00782 to do a return on a generator. Cashier was waiting on change, she had to wait on store manager for over 5 mins to bring change. Store manager ignored the long line (at least 7 people including my return). Went back to her office, never called for register assistance, never helped cashier and was extremely rude. I am a 20+ year manager for a retail store and this type of service will cause Harbor Freight to loose customers. For a store manager (i asked the cashier who she was) she does not set a good example for her employees and cares nothing about her customers.
