Hooters dam scam liars

sitting on the beach a banner plane flew by several times advertising all u can eat wings for 7.99 from 5-9. so we decided as a family to go there and eat, needless to say once we ordered our drinks when they arrived the waitress then came to take our order, we allready decided we were going to eat wings, ha little did we know that they jacked the price up to 11.95 WTF! and fail to mention every sauce u get is an addional 45 cents, how money hungry is this franchise? We were telling the waitress we saw the bannerplane, and she shrugged her sholders and acted like it didnt friggin matter, what a dam lie to bring people in.since we allready dragged our teenagers off the beach and allready ordered our beverages, we paid the dam 11.95 each but this is total bs. i wrote a complaint to hooters do u think i got a response?

I wanted to let corporate know about the horrible service that our party received by your waitress, Audriana at the location mentioned above. I am a fan of Hooters and have been going there for years. I have NEVER felt so discriminated against as I did when Audriana waited on our table. To start off, it took her nearly 20 minutes to acknowledge us. I had to...

Hooters double charged!

So I walked in to hooters, sat at my table and waited for my order. after waiting about five minutes we were greeted, and ordered. seven of us got the bottomless wings. so while placing our order, not only did this 20 year old waitress flirt, and flaunt her breasts at a group of 15 year old boys, but she also offered us ranch, or blue cheese ( asking in a way that implied it was free with our order) So after what seemed like an hour of waiting, our rather crappy, unrewarding wings arrived, and she told us in a somewhat sarcastic mannor "no sharing plates." Now I myself didn't order any wings, I justc ame to see some friends. fast forward a bit, and My friend next to me had to go attent his family members graduation, so he asked for a doggy-bag, and was told he could not have one, because the ever-so-valuble buffalo wings must stay here. ( for reasons I dont understand) so apon leaving he pushed his plate over to me, and I finished up his remaining 4 wings. Soon enough out shocking not bomb-shell waitress comes over and inturupts our dinner saying "we have seen people eating off plates who didn't otder the botomless wings, and out policy is to double charge them for that order" so basically I ended up paying thirty dollars for 4 wings, and a tiny ranch dip pan.. at that point I felt myself very tempted to reach across my table and grab our sleeze bag of a waitress, and tell her that her body made me lose my appitite, while ringing her neck with my buffalo caoted hands. I advise you not to set foot in this restraunt, because odds are you will eather be charged a fee for breathing their air, or double charged for breathing off of sombody elses air bubble. haha these wimens shorts are too tight, the blood goes to thir heads... and there not even that hott.

well I guess I'm done arguing with some stuck up, egotystical, whack woman. the bottom line is we are both people, you are no better then me, and I'm no better than you. you can act like your on some higher level, and that your superior to me because of your age and grammar.. but look at the comments, and see who maintained their composure better. then you can look in your mirror, and see what you need to change. I'm fifteen, I'm not perfect, but I'm obviously doing pretty good if you are a class-A model of an adult. hoorah for the new generation?

my dear sir, you are now jumping into a very hypocritical argument, because at what point in my complaint did I ever state I was an uncle? please dont force me to make a fool out of sombody twice my age. and the "your spelling stinks" "honey" and other comments, those are realy low blows, expecially to use on sombody you are correctly assuming to be a highschooler. If you knew anything you were debating, you would know, I dont need sombody to take me to hooters, as there is no age limit. Obviously your just flaming me because i'm a young easy target, and if the best thing you can come up with is my grammar, then congrats! your posts are nothing but off-topic, counterproductive, immature comments, that I would guess you use to fuel your ego. Your ability it rush into an argument, taking every opertunity to insult me has really said somthing about you, and to remian the bigger more mature man, I will not say those things. I hope you got a kick out of this, and sorry my grammar is bad, I'm still schooling. nuff said about that, get off my thread please, I'm tired of showing up some elder sloppy flamer...

oh and just to clear some things up. I looked at alot of your comments, and noticed you are keen to flaming, and calling people snide names. so if you can refrane from that, and if I get one of those "how big were her bewbs?" comments, I didnt pay attention, I was more concerned about losing thirty dollars of my birthday money, on four wings.. sheeshhluisse

thanks for calling me stupid, while assuming i'm the older one. my nephew? excuse me, i'm fifteen. exactly my point, these girls took advantage of our lack of knowlege. we didnt think to check the menue for two dollar ranch, we figured we were clever by getting water instead of soda. you see what i'm saying? any normal, caring waitress would say " the ranch is two dollars, do you want it?" and I mean they were really pushing the ranch alot, taking it in with every plate, and asking if we wanted it again the next plate. twenty dollars of ranch? yous still justify them?

Hooters discrimination

Four of my co-workers and myself went to Hooters. 4 of us ordered mixed drinks(which were terrible) and one ordered a mug of beer. We also ordered 100 wings along with 2 pitchers of beer. We were told that until we finished our mixed drinks that they could not serve us our beer. after inquiring as to why we were told that it is a michigan law that states that they can not have liquor and beer on the same table. I called the Hooters in Bay City, Mi. and spoke to a district Manager who stated he has not heard of such a law. However management and the district manager at the Saginaw location stated that Michigan law staes that they can not double serve. I would like to know if there is such a law. being that i have been a resident of michigan for 21 years and have never heard of it. If this was Hooters policy i could understand. It is nowhere posted, and if this is a policy, then why doesn't all hooters follow it. I was told ther was no one else i could talk to and was directed to the Hooters hotline. can someone tell me is this a case of discrimination or am I just going crazy.

Well, as a matter of fact it is up to the waitress' discretion weather she serves you a mixed drink as well as a beer. At any restaurant, waitress are trained not to do this, because there is a stipulation of double serving drinks that comes along with the liquor license of a restaurant. However a lot of factors come into play, if you are have already been drinking before you entered the restaurant, if you have eaten, how long you have been sitting at the table, etc. Miss Catherine, I can guarantee that your waitress was not discriminating against you, only using what experience she has had with serving past customers. Maybe she had just gotten in trouble for over serving someone and she was being careful. Who knows, whatever the case, you can be denied service for any reason at all.

Okay realistic man, I was just stating in my "stupid ###" comment that I had never heard of such law. I've been to Hooters and have been at a table where we were drinking beer and mixed drinks so I was just basing off what I have experienced. So if there is something about the "double stacking" drinks than I apologize but I've never experienced anything like that.

I personally think your a stupid ### along with the other commentors. Call the ABC board, any restaurant has the right to deny service of alcohol for any reason or no reason whatso ever. Drinking is a privilage in an establishment not a constitutional right ### sticks... Hooters is a restaurant not a bar... you will not be double stacked drinks as this is a violaiton and can get just about any establishment fined or their liqour license revoked... So go ahead and make a big stink about it because no body is going to do anything about it... sincerely

Why don't you contact the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control in the County you reside in?
They are the ones that issue the license to serve Liquor to establishments. They also enforce all the
laws as well.
If you think that your rights have been violated they also investigate the establishments. But, to have
them go out there and investigate they definitely would require more than one complaint.
Also report to the BBB, in the local area and to the chamber of commerce. They should give you an apology
through BBB or your complaint in the BBB's books does stay for quite sometime.
Keep us updated!

I think it's a case of someone looking to give others a hard time ... I've never heard of such a law anywhere and never been anywhere that you couldn't have beer and liquor on the same table. I don't think it's you going crazy, I think the servers at that Hooters have gone nuts.

Hooters food and gambeling

Last Saturday a friend of mine accompanyed me to the Hooters in Mc Kenny TX were they were no busy so we desided to stop in.

Three girls at the front said sit any were and your server will be right with you. The Server from another store (Plano TX) took our order and appeared to be very unhappy. I ordered a stake and it was pictured on the menue but what they delivered was not as shown. I asked the manager why and he said th menue was changed last week. When the server came back to give us the bill I asked her ans she offered the same explanation. I asked her why she did not tell me when I ordered as the stake I could get at Road House was 1/2 the size larger for the price! No responce.

Upon leaving we observed three guys and one girl on a high top table gambling and using chips. One of the fellows that was giving out the chips had a roll on bills in his right front pocked and was observed pulling it out when he gave more chips out. The manager had walked by our table and knew they were doing it as it appeared they were there for a long time and had not ordered anything.

Upon leaving the manager came up and said he was sorry about the order and I asked him why there was gambeling going on and he acted like he did not know anything.

SORRY HOOTERS I WILL NEVER GO INTO YOUR STORE AGAIN ! I would have put this on your website but you do not have any place to contact management so now the world knows!

Hooters food that I touched was sent to another table

The service was horrible! We placed an order and then waited 20 minutes. Another friend came to join us and his order came before ours. We ordered drinks that came after the meal. Wr ordered a roster full of oysters and 3 orders of crab legs and no shuckers or crab crackers were given until for at least 15 minuter. My crab legs were cold by then and I asked the waitress to steam them again. She came back and stated that she sent my crab legs...the ones that I had touched...to another table. I am thoroughly disgusted by the service. How can I be sure that I am not eating food that was once in the possession of another customer. The manager apologized for the "mistake", but he did not seem very empathetic. I wonder what the customer who ate my crab legs would think if he knew I had them first. I have enjoyed the food at Hooters for many years. How can I trust that your establishment practices quality control and how can I be certain that the food I eat is safe? Please respond in a timely manner. Sincerely, Shawnder O. Worthington

Yes but women (and girls) continue to work there ... so unless all women decide to never work for a Hooters again these comments won't do anything except for getting your feelings off your chest.

Not saying I agree with their practices or whatever but Hooters is here to stay.

Hooters crappy managers...

I recently saw 'Undercover Boss' where Hooters was featured. I saw mostly positive things about the company and seems like any other average american restaurant. I am angry that CEO Coby Brooks decided to keep manager 'Jimbo' after his inappropriate expolitation of his staff. Jimbo is a disgusting man, a liability, and makes the WHOLE company look terrible. Keeping someone like Jimbo who would knowingly act that way on camera makes it look like that behavior is 'not that big of a deal'. I f Hooters will put people like that in charge than Hooters is not that great of a place to work because you will keep an obnoxious manchild who gets his jollies from degrading young girls. I am 27 and if Jimbo told me to snort a plate of beans I would have told him to go piss up a rope. I am disappointed in this company. Jimbo should have been FIRED. Instead he got a slap on the wrist. The company was on national television and it would have reflected better on Hooters and would have helped your image if you had taken a firmer stand against such disgraceful unprofessionalism. That behavior is absolutely unacceptable! He has not changed and it is only a matter of time before an employee files a lawsuit for harassment.

Hooters over served alchohol

I was over served alcohol by the managaers approval, Autumn Pletcher. ( Manager ) at the Hooters resturant in Topeka Kansas. The address is 6210 S.W. 10th St. Topeka, KS. 66615. I was devastated by the amount of alcohol that I was allowed to be served. I was taken advantage of by the resturant continuing to serve me drinks and take my money when I was clearly over served and over intoxicated passed the legal limit. The resturant manager completely disregarded the fact of my saftey and well being. I feel that this Employee ( Manager) should be re-evaluated for management authority position and also repremanded for the disregard for my saftey and well being. The amount of alcohol that I was allowed to be served was 3 times passed the legal limit acording to Kansas state laws involving alcohol limits and alcohol abuse. I feel that if i was told that i could not be served anymore alcohol. i would have been very intoxicated but not intoxicated passed the legal limit. i feel this is unacceptable service for such a large chain of resturants, such as hooters. I believe that hooters has higher expectations and higher customer service satifaction than that, and also should be more concerned about the well being of their customers than their revenue. thank you for your time. i think the manager at this topeka kansas hooters resturant is inexperienced and under qualified for the management position. thank you for your time in this matter .

sincerley,

While it is the person buying the drinks that should be responsible, bars also need to refuse service to those that are already "loaded" However this sounds like the letter of an alcholic that has no control over their drinking. I bet this isn't the first time they drank too much, and won't be the last. Try taking something called the 12 step program.

This will not get you out of a possible DUI/DWI. All it can possibly do is get the store investigated for over serving. So what is your point? You would sound reasonable if you where the family member of someone YOU had killed on the way home. Hooters treated poorly by assistant manager of store

I am writing this evening to express my extreme unhappiness with a situation that occurred at the fargo, nd hooters restaurant this evening.

First let me say that we have been a fan of hooters for many years.in fact, it is a family tradition to stop and get my son a t-shirt in every city we are visiting that has a hooters restaurant. Since that was our first trip to fargo, I told adam that we would stop and get him another t-shirt to add to his growing collection.

Before I left our home, I grabbed my hooters mastercard, threw it in my wallet and thought nothing of it. We stopped by the fargo location at approximately 9:00 pm. We were welcomed by a wonderful waitress named christy and we placed our order. As is customary, we ordered up the traditional black hooters t-shirt for adam.

While we were waiting for our food to arrive, I got my eye on a hooters golf bag. I asked christy how much it sold for and she told me $150.00. I told her that I had approximately $50 in points on my hooter mastercard and was going to call to see how to redeem them. Upon pulling my card out of my wallet, I noticed that the card expired last month. I immediately called merrick bank corporation's customer service line and learned that they canceled my card because I had not used it with the last 12 months. I was also told that I lost all my hooter's points. The bank told me to apply for another card at the restaurant and said that I should be able to get some kind of discount on my merchandise I wanted to purchase.

When christy got back to the table, I explained what happened and asked her if I could please get another application. Christy did not know much about the program, so went to ask her manager, kelsey. Christy came back and told me that their store no longer promoted the hooters mastercard.

About five minutes later, the assistant manager, kelsey, came over and met with me. I asked kelsey if there was anything that she could do as far as a discount on the merchandise. Kelsey said that there was nothing she could do and said all she could do was give us a couple coupons for our next visit. After finding out that we live about 300 miles away from the restaurant, she gave us nothing!

I would like someone at hooters to know that I have never been treated so poorly by any "manager" in my entire life.in fact, when I asked to speak with the store manager, I was told by kelsey that, "... We are between managers. You can try calling tomorrow and ask to speak with christy."

In closing, I spent the $159.75 for the golf bag. My check number is: 302, the time of purchase was: 9:47 pm, the employee was christy b. And our table number was 80. Our food and shirt bill was on check # 274 and came to $37.22. The time on the receipt is listed at 9:10 pm, christy b was the employee and the table number was 81. We put the two purchases on two separate credit cards and when I got back to my hotel room, I went online and signed up for another hooters mastercard.

Please note that I will be in myrtle beach, sc from september 20th through the 23rd. I was fully intending on stopping at the hooter restaurant and buying adam another t-shirt, but quite frankly, I am so pissed off with the service I received last night, I do not honestly know if I will ever visit another hooters for the rest of my life.

I find it hard to believe in this day and age, the assistant manger was truly unable to do anything for us. Kelsey was so unfamiliar with the hooter credit card that she told me that they did not even accept them at her store any more. It was after I pointed out that it is a mastercard and they are accepted nearly everywhere that she admitted she did not know much about the program. She simply repeated that they do not have any applications at their store.

I would like a response from hooters in the near future. Perhaps business is so good that you don't need to worry about "little people" like me and my family. I left your restaurant feeling cheated this evening. I know that it was not the store's fault that my credit card expired, but I can not accept that fact that she was unwilling to compensate me for the last hooters points in some manner.

For the last 10 years I have worked as a mystery shopper for about 20 different companies. During that time, I have never evaluated a hooters restaurant before. Based on my interaction with the assistant manager kelsey, I believe your restaurant is in serious trouble. Our waitress christy told us there would be no problem taking a small amount off our purchase. Kelsey however, was unwilling to budge and kept saying she was so sorry.

I hope we can speak in the very near future. I think kelsey needs to scrub the toilets at the restaurant instead of pretend to be a member of management. It seems like she could be a product of years of inbreeding.

Years of inbreeding? Only you would know, my friend. Only a true inbred like you would pitch a fit over some Hooters points and saving $4 on an overpriced gold bag in the first place

Then you're going on to south Carolina, yea because that's a place where are really nooo inbreds lmao the irony of your remarks

You are a sorry piece of [censor]. Have you ever waited tables in your life? Do you realize the BS these girls put up with from a-holes like you? It was not their fault your card and points had expired and was not their problem to fix. Your problem was with the bank- you owe those two women an appology. Where do you come off thinking they owed you anything? I so agree with the other comments... I hope your son does not follow in your footsteps- you are a setting a horrible example as a father. Someone should take that golf bag and shove it up your a$$ you arrogant [censor].

You are a greedy self centered piss ant who knows [censor] about restaurant work or how a company structure is set! You are [censor]ing about an Assistant Manager who couldn’t do anything about your points and your card. Read the fine print when you sign for another one! The Assistant Manager is responsible for guests and the restaurant, not your card qualifications. I’ve seen the card application and it said “where applicable” Which means NOT EVERY HOOTERS STORE IN THE WORLD WILL ACCEPT YOUR POINTS! Your card holder is Merric Bank Corporation, NOT HOOTERS! Also coupons are 95% local unless headed up by the corporate office! The only thing the Assistant Manager could have done more for you is to give you a number for the corporate headquarters ( easy if you take the time to look it up instead of [censor]ing) and could have (but was not obligated) to take a % off your total bill for an incontinence. Next time step up and admit your own mistake instead of taking it out on someone else! It took me less than 45 seconds to come up with the corporate office for you to take your petty [censor]. The employees (wait staff and management) of the Fargo Hooters did exactly what they should have done! Now bend over kiss your own [censor] and call the corporate office NOT YOUR BANK next time you have a problem with your points or getting a card! They can do something about it now stop your [censor]ing and DON’T COME BACK! A restaurant does not need your kind of drama and [censor], we have other things to worry about!

Unbelievable to make such a big deal out of not getting a perk from an expired card! Just forget about it and enjoy your night! But nobody should be taking a potshot at Christy. She did her job that night, and dragging out a mistake she made on a different night is just pure jealousy. She was, in my opinion, one of the top five most beautiful girls to ever put on a Hooters uniform in Fargo. And she was pleasant to be around to boot! And for everybody else's information, she never got fired after that night. She was there for at least another month! I would bet some tables walked out because she was a 19 year old girl that didn't know how to manage a bunch of tables where every guy in the place is trying to get her attention. Then some jerk customers probably walked out because they couldn't get a phone number with their receipt. She could have been a Hooters Calendar Girl if she had made it, and now we'll never know. I hope she doesn't have to put up with that kind of jealous crap in the job she has now.

You are an ###, and pretty much just another pervert that likes to go to Hooters and think you're so ###ing special. Kelsey, for your information doesn't work there any longer. Fargo isn't a big time Hooters, and the managers they hire sucks. That also doesn't mean that you're so special that one of the managers is gonna bend over backwards when she has other things to do to give you a discount. The managers deal with ###s like you all day long, and get their bill discounted just because one person makes a mistake. I hate men like you that come in there, thinking that you should get it your way. If you went to Applebees and got a mastercard there, and this happened would you talk ### about all the Applebees. Probably not! It's a Hooters, and that's the only reason why you pick on the store. Wearing the rediculous outfit sucks enough, let alone having some guy take a look at my body all night, then complains about some ### is a disgrace. Christy doesn't work there anymore either. You complain about the service from the manager when you had like the worst server on the planet. She's had 5 tables walk out on her in one night. Sooooo get a Hooters mastercard and go shove it up your a__. You're right on one thing, is that you are from a little family, just as a lot of people are!

hey [censored] bag you suck. how rediculous, it is people like you (begging for free stuff) that make the rest us pissed off. do you think that maybe if you treated others with respect somebody may be more likely to bend over backwards for you. In fact that manager did us all a favor by not giving you anything. Seriously, there are people struggling all over this country and this is what you are worried about. I think this is a pretty trivial problem for you, just thank god you are healthy enough to travel, as many men your age probably are not.

I agree you really are a [censored], if you don't know that your card has expired it nobody's fault but yours. Guess what with the economy is changing everyday and especially every month. If you can't keep track of what's in your wallet, too fricking bad. If you wanted that golf bag so bad why didn't you get at your local Hooters store, no you thought some poor girl from north dakota would believe your line of crap. wah wah go cry a fricking river. hey dumb a__ this is where the tough live, oh by the way get a life.

you're a [censored] quit trying to get free ###. they work hard. sorry for you, they didn't bend over backwards to make you feel like the king of the world. You have obviously have some kind of chip on your shoulder to make you think that every time you make a mistake (forgeting to use your card for 12 months, which apparently you frequent hooters sooooo often) and they need to take care of your issues. Frankly I belive people like you should never ever go out to eat. Simply for the fact that you bring the entire staff and quatlity of service down, because of your complaining. I wish people like you had enough guff to understand that people make mistakes. Further more they are a franchise resturant and not a corporate store, which means that they don't follow everything that everyother store does. I honestly think that next time you want to complain about something take ten minutes and look at yourself and why you have to be so angry. I wish you the best and I hope your child dosen't grow up to be so hateful.

Hooters disregarding mission statement

I am so disappointed with the way my boyfriend and I were treated at Hooters. I went in to the West Covina location on 8/8/09 around 5:30pm and we were seated in a reserved area. My date and I only knew it was reserved because there was a sign taped to the table, but none of the hosts or waitresses bothered to give us a courtesy heads up that at 6:30 we would have to move, or leave. At 6:35 one waitress, not ours, came to the table to ask us to "hurry up and finish" because that table was reserved, after she saw our confused face she asked if anyone had notified us and I told her no, no one said anything but we did read the sign, and then she walked away. Within five minutes a tall manger can and leaned over to my date and said, " I’m sorry folks this table is reserved your going to need to vacate." At no time were we offered to be relocated or even asked if we wanted our check. I asked him if we could be relocated since our drinks were still full and our sampler plate half full, and as he hesitated he said, "Well I guess I can do that." That angered my date and I more after being harassed so frequently, and we said never mind we will leave. Yet still no one offered to give us our check. Finally we asked a waitress passing by for the bill (but we really should have just not paid and "vacated") and then our waitress came, but before we got the bill, yet another girl came to the table to ask us to leave and this time with security.

Its unfortunate that they treated us this way. It was actually my boyfriends birthday and we have asked several of our friends to meet us there later that night to celebrate, and we immediately spread the word of Hooters West Co. and their rudeness. As we walked out I saw that the party waiting for our table was a party of two. I really hope that that party was worth losing a potential thirsty and hungry party of ten, and severe word of mouth damage.

Thanks a lot West Covina Hooters!

These women get treated like nothing but pieces of meat and you somehow expect good service, you support this messed up and overpriced operation/mindless objectification of young, uneducated women by dining there, saw the sign, and then refused to speak up for yourself when you noticed something was wrong, and yet had the audacity and stupidity to actually pay for your food. I think you got what you deserved.

It never struck you that "reserved" meant "don't sit here?" This was your mistake.

Hooters terrible service and terrible manager

I was with 2 friends at Hooters on May13, 2009. We went out for a smoke and when we came back our plate of oysters was taken, so I told the hooters girl why someone clean when we still have food on the table so I wave the manager down to tell him what the problem was.

He said that he will be right back because he had to bring food to another table. After about 3 minutes i turn and look for him he was just standing by the cash register and talking to the Hooters girls. So I call the Hooters girl over again and ask her to get the manger, then she cam back and ask us how many oysters were left on the plate, that's when our whole table got really upset, so i told her to get the manager.

He came over and ask the same question, how many oysters did you have left. I said it does not matter, i just don't like the fact that you guys made a mistake and you ignored when we complained. I told him it wasn't like when were taking advantage or monetary reason. Very insulting.

Then we asked for his name and info so we can file a complaint with corporate and he came back with a piece of paper and SLAMED it on the table and walked away.

So I went after him and he said that he has 100, 000 people to serve and i said that you are exagerating because there wasn't but about 60 people in the place.

I just asked for the bill and left...but what terrible service at HOOTERS...never come back.
