Took my money and did not provide services!
In August of 2021, I purchased a yearly membership for Ideal Image, which was $250.00. I also purchased Botox, Fillers for cheeks, lips, smokers lines and basic fillers. I also did Ultherapy on my neck and face. I did not do the peri oral I paid for because it was extremely painful. Anyway, due to medical issues, I can not do cheek fillers. I have zygomatic dental implants, so cheek fillers are not allowed, I went on to use basic filler, Botox, lip filler and smoker line filler. And even bought more Botox. I have been trying to either get a refund for the cheek fillers which were $1500.00 or credit my account so I could purchase more filler and Botox. They tried 3 times to get me to sign a document and I refused. Because in the document, it stated, by signing it, I give up all my rights to use my products at Ideal Image. It also stated that I am agreeing not to talk bad about the company on Social Media or any other platforms. And all I was getting was a refund for the cheek fillers and I would lose my Botox and remaining filler. I would not sign it and they completely depleted my account! They took all of my product! I am extremely angry at this point and would not recommend this place at all. Go to a Dermatologist!
Desired outcome: At this point, I just want a refund for the stuff I didn't use and that is it!
Cool sculpting with ideal image
I have experienced and seen several reviews where they oversell the amount of units you will need for your first service and then they are not able to use all of those on the treatment leaving you with leftover "Cycles" or units that they want you to use on a second treatment. Then, when things don't go well on your first treatment and you want a refund of any unused "Cycles/Units" they tell you that you cannot get a refund but to use the credit on other services. (Bait and Switch?)
I am considering a class action at this time as I've seen many Google reviews at many locations with the same complaint. Sales agents measure your body and tell you how many cycles you will need for Cool Sculpting, even going so far as to draw onto your body where they will be placed and documenting it in their file. And then when the actual treatment comes, you have left over cycles/units that are not eligible for a refund. This is unethical. If your people mistakenly tell you how much is required then you should refund what is not able to be used.
I was told how many to purchase and that was in excess. Had I decided how many to get on my own, that would be a different matter. You won't do the service until it is prepaid, and then told me how much to prepay and then refused to do that much because it wasn't safe. Yet that's somehow a penalty that should be mine? RIPOFF!
Desired outcome: I am owed $1,272. Judging by the amount of reviews I've seen online, I can only imagine how much money is sitting out there owed to people who have been duped by the scheme.
Coolsculpting
I originally went told them my stomach was an area that I was not happy with after having two children. I also was not happy with the fat pocket under my chin that I wanted done. I signed a contract with them they did the contouring on my stomach which unfortunately made it look worse and they told me I didn’t have enough fat under my chin to do which I’ve talked to several people after which is unheard of, I tried multiple times through Covid to communicate with them opening a case no one ever calls me back I feel like I’ve just been totally ripped off I gave them money I’m still paying on it with Ally credit and my stomach‘s a mess and they never did my chin and when I went back they told me I had to give them 400 more dollars.
Desired outcome: Refund or results and call me!
Cool sculpting
On August of 2021, I purchased a package for 3100.00 for cool sculpting. I never set a date as they were booked for almost 2 months. I told them I’d call them back to set a date, and then decided to wait on this. I called and tried to get a refund, but was given the runaround for months. First, after waiting a week, I finally got a call back and was told I could get a refund, but I’d have to wait till the end of September. So I waited, and nothing. I called them again and was told the girl that told me I could get a refund was now working in a different department. So I asked to talk to someone higher up and they said yes, but could take a few days for them to get back to me. We’ll, months later I called them in february and was told I couldn’t get a refund, she could only extend my contract for another 6 months. I never even knew that their was a time limit on this. I let her extend my contract, but told her I still wanted my money back. We’ll, it’s now June and I still don’t have a refund. I am dumb for not reading any of these reviews here or on BBB. They have so many bad reviews. I never would have even tried to do this. So many bad reviews in one month. Do not give this company any of your money ahead of time!

Coolscuplting Contract
I entered into a contract for services based on the agreement that I would receive treatment to my double chin. This "sale" was done via zoom. The Woman I spoke with, assured me I could use coolsculpting on my chin which would cost a ".4" Contract was paid in full. I get to my appointment, and they cannot accommodate me, the size of my chin does not work with the device. I proceeded with other cool sculpting sessions to other areas of my body, after being told in person at the Henderson location that I could use those points for other services OR could receive that ".4" back worth $182.50. I have repeatedly asked for my money back. I get sent to some case manager. She cannot help me, they do not give refunds even though I have been told and reassured I could. How is it permitted that customers can receive allegedly inaccurate information from local offices and not be made whole by the corporate office?
Desired outcome: GIve me my credit back in the form of cash.

I was scheduled to have juvaderm. I had a vertual consultation with a nurse practitioner. Because I have a shell fish allergy they would not preform the procedure. I did not receive the services. I was charged on my Ally financial for the services anyway. I called the dispute service to talk about the unprofessional way of the company. I have not received any calls or follow-up. I called back several weeks later following up on the dispute.
The lady hung up on me. I could not hear anything but screaming kids in the background. . This company is the biggest scam ever.. They do nothing but steal..

Set up a consultation with Ideal Image. While on my consultation she rushed me through a contract and took my card number without mentioning she was charging for the service right then and there. I gave her the number thinking she was just using it to hold the appointment. Later when I had to cancel the appointment I had numerous issues. They never return my calls, they hang up on me, they are always giving me the run around or telling me to wait another 3-5 business days. Candice J was particularly rude and my assigned case worker Erin was never available or sick. Strongly recommend NEVER using this company.
Full refund
This started back in January, when I purchased the treatment in Knoxville TN. The sales person assured me that the treatment could be transferred across the country no issues and that one area that I didn't want to treat that came in the package could be exchanged directly in the office that I would get the treatment. I paid a little bit over half of treatment up front and financed the rest which I've been paying monthly. My first appt was schedule at 6:00 pm by the seller, that's when I learn that sales people have no communication at all with the actual office where treatment is getting received. When I showed up I was told that they couldn't treat all areas at that time, there wasn't enough time, so I had to reschedule. I did and went back a few weeks after that (since there was no other day available). this was in Feb timing. I learned that I was moving to Jacksonville FL, so I asked for the transfer to Orange Park office, I was told they would take care of it and I would receive a phone call in the next couple of days. Weeks went by and nobody called, so I called Orange Park office and they said they didn't do that, that I should have called them directly to do the transfer and that they didn't have opening till May 14th. I took that appt. When it got closer to my appt date, I realized I had another appt out of town for my 6 month old so I called trying to reschedule but was told they didn't have anything available before July, so I decided to cancel my baby's appt to go to Ideal Image. The Friday before the appt (May 13th) got a phone call saying they had to cancel my appt due to them getting a new machine but that they would call to reschedule, I asked by when since I had been told nothing was available before July, and they said it would be within the week. Didn't get a call back, so on Tuesday I called Jacksonville's office to get transferred since it had been 3 months since my previous (and only) treatment. They were very nice and said they would see me Friday May 20th. On Thursday I got a call from the Knoxville office saying there had been an "issue" with the transfer due to area not treated and Jacksonville Office could not see me before it was resolved, so my appt had been canceled due to this. She said she was going to take care of it that day and call me back later so I wouldn't lose my appt in Jacksonville. I didn't hear back, so I called Jacksonville's office on Friday to confirm my appt and was told issue hadn't been resolved so they couldn't treat me. I called Knoxville's office, they said account manager was working on it but she was in a meeting and couldn't take my call and since she couldn't do anything to help me she was going to disconnect the call, so she hung up instead of transferring me to someone that could help. Called later that day and was told she was busy with another client but would call me back that same Friday, I let customer service rep know that I would be calling back if I Didn't hear from her. She didn't call. So I called back and was told office was closed and nobody that could help me was available and they didn't work weekends so I should wait till Monday. This morning I called again and was told the Account Manager was busy and she would call me back. I have never been treated this bad by any company before, at this point all I want is to cancel my contract and get a refund, but, of course, the only person that can do that is the account manager that I cannot get ahold of. It's been 5 months since I got this treatment and had only had one session due to scheduling, system and communication issues within the company.
Being charge for product I don’t have
I did a consultation and signed up for services. When I went to make my appointment at a local level I was told that I’m not a candidate for their services so I immediately called back to Ideal Image to cancel. They got the contract canceled but said they had sent out product and couldn’t stop the shipping on it. Said they will refund me the product as soon as I ship it back to them. I received the product took it to the post office and took pictures dropping it in the dropbox. Sent them the pictures showing that I sent it back and then they told me they couldn’t refund my money until they received it back. I said OK no problem a month later still hadn’t got my refund back. I mailed that back March 25 and it’s now May 23 and they said they still haven’t received the product back. Refuse to give me my money, take my calls or help in any other way. They want me to pay for product that I don’t even have. They have the worst customer service I have ever worked with and as a multi million dollar company you think they could refund $108 for product that I don’t have. I’m telling everyone not to do Ideal Image .

hair removal
I bought a package deal for my daughter for hair removal in the bikini and tush area... about $2500. it did not work... there were notes in her file that the previous removal did not work. we reached out, both separately and together to the location we went to in Lakeland fl. I finally went to the location in person. I was told that the managing nurse would be calling my daughter to discuss. that did not happen for weeks. then when called they did indeed say that there were notes in her file. they stated they would be calling her to make appointments. I believe they stated 2 free then the rest at a charge to fix their mistakes. well, no one called her. She just told me that it looks like she never had any hair removal procedures... this is a rip off. To top it off, the location we signed up at is a franchise and the corporate Ideal Image said that they cannot help... what BS!
we need to stop giving them money!

Desired outcome: I want a refund to everyone slighted and an apology to everyone slighted. Also, telling the customer up front of the % success rate would be good too!!!
Ideal image services contracts and payment
I tried to utilize the membership I received with my first purchase of laser hair removal. I wanted to get cool sculpting and filler but didn't have the money available currently. the consultant Micah Hashagen really pushed the payment plans through ally and fortiva. Ally denied me and she suggested fortiva as my form of payment for the new treatments. I received 3500 from fortiva and told her that wasn't enough to cover the treatments was it? Micah said oh yea it is! Then sent me the documents to sign. She then left abruptly when it came time to schedule my appointments stating she would call me back.this was 5/10/2022. I emailed her the later that day, on 5/11/22 and 5/12 with questions and she never responded except to say when was a good time. I told her anytime and received no follow up. I then messaged again on 5/12 and 5/17 with no answer. Fortiva paid ideal 3500 on my behalf. Fortiva sent me an email about it. I tried to schedule my appointments on my own with the Charlotte ideal image location on 5/10,11, and 12th, since micah never called me back, but they said they couldn't do it and would call me back. I tried the chat helpline where an associate read my complaint and exited the conversation before responding. I called their corporate office and was told they would call me back in five days or so… It’s has been over a week now and I haven't heard from micah or the ideal image from Charlotte or corporate. I went through the documentation again in my original emails with Micah and saw a weird section she had not discussed that says I owe ideal image an additional 1300 after the 3500 credit I received from fortiva. Micah has yet to respond to my questions. I called their huntersville office as well and I am still not able to schedule treatments despite the fact that I owe 3500 with a 30 percent interest rate to fortiva that has already been paid to ideal. I feel like I was set up to not receive treatments. People can't afford to be taken advantage of this way. To make a sale while taking advantage of someone just trying to feel better about themselves is doubly wicked. What should have been something to encourage me to feel my best has turned into a stressful and expensive punishment that I couldn't afford to begin with but was willing to do anyway in order to boost my self esteem and relieve some depression. Shame on you ideal image.
Desired outcome: I would like to cancel my contract with a full refund to Fortiva and not owe ideal any more money. Unless they take off the extra fee that I owe ideal, I cannot afford this. It should have been explained.

Láser hair removal
Ideal image bugged me and harassed me about signing up after only inquiring online! They called 4-5x daily to talk to me .Then once they ran up my credit with inquiries & i paid money towards my service on 08/19/2021 they stopped answering the phone. Screening my calls. I was told I had to wait until October 16,2021 for a refund. i called numerous times after that but to no avail. Months later i have yet to receive a refund. i’ve been unable to reach anyone since mid november.

Complaint
I signed up for a series of treatments and paid in advance. I followed the recommended preparation for the treatment and only then realized that the prep aggravates a medical condition that I have. I promptly rescheduled the first treatment. After the area healed I tried the prep again and had the same issue recur. I called customer service and they connected me with the national support specialist, filled out the requested questionnaire, and got a note from medical provider describing my health issue and reading for wanting to cancel. My case was cancelled and reopened twice only when I called in multiple times. I have only talked with the support specialist a single time and the person does not respond to phone calls and rarely emails. I have requested an opportunity to completely layout my reasoning and have not been given the chance.

Ultherapy at the Orem Utah Ideal Image center
Ideal image does a poor job of providing professional informed consent about what you should be able to expect from Ultherapy and what you may not be able to expect. The 'sales woman' who signed me up for Ultherapy spoke of it in glowing terms and did not equally share the information that at my age, I may not see the results I was hoping for. Since having the procedure, I've learned that at a certain age Ultherapy will not be highly effective on the neck area, which was my experience. If Ultherapy was not as expensive as it is, I wouldn't have been so frustrated by the sales woman's pitch. Ulthearpy is expensive however, which to me means that providing information about when it may not be effective is crucial to me making an informed decision about spending the amount of money. Instead, I've spent $2,200.00 with no real result at all. If I could do it over again, I would have bypassed the use of Ultherapy and just put the 2200 toward a neck life which would have given me 'actual' results. Ideal Image markets themselves as a 'Med Spa', medical being the operative word. Any true medical procedure that an MD does has to include informed consent, it's required by their ethical code. Ideal Image should provide this information during the 'sales pitch' call, not on the fine print after you've purchases it and are signing documents prior to having the procedure done.
Desired outcome: I think they should refund all or at least part of the $2,200.00 they charged me. Especially given the didn't inform me that I may see no improvement at all.

They omit pertinent information about scheduling. I have a very tight schedule. Talking to Jodi all they want to do is get you locked in. I was scheduled for one part of my stomach(the bottom) WHYYYY!? Why would anyone do that? I do not like misleading integrity challenged businesses

THEY HIT MY TATTOO THAT WASN'T IN A TREATMENT AREA. They told me to come in and take pictures. I show up, no one know anything about it. They take pictures, I hear nothing. I have to call to find out what's going on, a file was never even started for me. Then instead of doing ANYTHING about it, they said they'll send me a $250 check to cover it. Each time I went was done by a different person in a different way. The cost is absolute robbery, the communication is garbage, and their customer service is a joke.

failed keep their promise and can’t follow the contact. They have canceled my appointments many times randomly without asking if I can make it or not. They said they have called me, I didn’t answer. That’s a lie. Also saying the system have sent me email, I didn’t confirm the appointment so they canceled it. That’s also a lie. The whole plan just got dragged so long, it will cause me can’t finish my laser hair removal treatment with satisfaction within the period of time they give. So more likely I’ll end up either not getting the results I wanted, or buy more treatments. I felt I’m trapped in this, and being scammed.
I would like a apology from the group who ever respond confirm the appointments and a reasonable explanation why they don’t call me or email me each time before the appointments canceled automatically. And refund for my last 3.5 treatment. I want go somewhere els finish my treatment.
I can’t finish my treatments within the time frame they give. They cancel my appointments randomly, so I can’t finish my appointments. I would like a refund and just done with this company. But they want keep the money, they promised to extend my contract so I can finish my treatments. I accept it. All I want it is to get the results I wanted. But they don’t answer my phone call at all, and no email telling me my contract have been extended. I can’t make appointment with them, because there is no one can answer my phone calls. So what’s the point to extend my contract if they can’t provide services as promised? They can extend for another 50 years but not provide any services. I want 38% of the payment refunded. And be done with this company. I want go somewhere actually cares about their customers and finish my treatments.
Steals money
In Nov of 2021 I called in about getting lip fillers again (I did this in May of 2021 with a different place). When talking to the sales lady she was very persuasive and sold me a $1900 dollar package. Brienna Smith was my sales associate I spoke with.
I have been trying to get my money back now for weeks. I never wanted the procedures that the women "upsold" to me. I ended up not going to any appointments and have never even stepped foot in an ideal image clinic.
Speaking with Tyler this morning he informed me that there was no way I could get my money back, and he was the only associate I could talk to. He apparently is the national and regional customer service person, and he said the buck stopped with him.
He ended up hanging up on me because I told him this was F**** ridiculous. This company preys on people with body image issues and works with zero integrity. They have stolen 1900 dollars from me.
Desired outcome: I want my money back.
