Ideal Image Unauthorized charges

I started with ideal image around March of this year. I went to one appointment, but then realised that this was not the best thing for me financially right now. So I started pushing back my appointments until I was told that I'm still charged despite not going to the appointment. Which makes no sense! So I then decided to give them a call to ask for a refund. "They don't do those unless a doctor told me not to continue the service." So I said ok. Then cancel my contract completely. I want these transactions to stop. They told me once that it was canceled. Then a month later I see another transaction. So I call back and tell them that they told me that it was canceled when it was not. They keep brushing this under the rug and beating around the bush and I'm furious. They've lied to me and the case manager they gave me, she constantly ignores my emails. They have stolen so much money from me and I want it to stop. What kind of business is this?! I do not recommend! Terrible people!

Desired outcome: I just want my contract to be canceled completely. Simple as that!

Ideal Image IPL+ Botux

I paid 403$. They were supposed to give me IPL and Botux. When I went there they told me I’m not eligible for it. They assured me I’m gonna get the refund. Later they called me and rudely mentioned that I won’t get the refund and also no services. Attached is their email that shows I didn’t receive the service. Please help me to get my refund. They literally stole me without giving me the service.

Ideal Image Unbearably Torturous Ultherapy

The word therapy should not be a part of this service. I scheduled an ultherapy appointment which is supposed to tighten the skin on the face and lift the chin area. I got a complementary mini-ultherapy service called peri-oral. To reduce smile lines. I can't tell if it worked, I didn't really have any. Nonetheless, the 15-20 minute treatment was torture. I could barely take it. Just as I was going to say that's enough, it was over. However, my actual service was going to be about 2 hours long and as much as I wanted the results, I got more nervous as my appointment got closer. I was afraid that 10 minutes in I wouldn't be able to continue and that would be considered my loss for wasting their time. That said, I canceled about 5 weeks prior. I was then told that I signed a legally-binding contract and that they cannot issue a refund. In addition to that, payments for the balance of the service I won't be receiving, will still come out until paid in full. On the front page of the contract it says that services are nonrefundable, which is vague. When I finally did see that sentence, I understood

it to mean that if you were unhappy with services rendered you would not get your money back, not that you are not able to change your mind and cancel beforehand. What right do they have to keep my money when they didn't provide anything to justify that? Before signing how was I to know it would be 2 hours of torture and I wouldn't be able to bear it? What kind of shady policy is that? Additionally, when you initially sign up you are charged for a lifetime membership at $250 that I didn't ask for but when I questioned it, it was explained to me that it qualifies me to get my services at a discount. The service is over $1,200. What discount did I receive?They simply padded their pockets with $250 more of my dollars. I had to tell her that I don't want that to be a recurring charge otherwise they'd get $250 annually that they didnt earn. This company is so shady and unethical. They trap unsuspecting customers into a contractual agreement that enables them to keep thousands of your hard earned dollars... even if they don't provide a service. They must be stopped! I'm all for a class action suit. Where do I sign? Im going to seek an attorney to get one going myself.

Ideal Image Phone conversation

I contacted Ideal Image/Maple Grove MN via telephone.

I asked to have my upcoming appointment time confirmed.

The rep I spoke with communicated I can verify my appointment time through the mobile app or by calling. I said "I don't want to deal with the phone [censored]" that's why I'm calling".

The rep said I was rude. I didn't mean to be rude with using profanity, the word ([censored]). She said I swore at her. I did not. I USED the word [censored]. We bantered about it, then stopped.

She gave me the time and hung up. It could have been handled differently by both of us.

Desired outcome: When someone is calling to verify, it's a preference/short cut. I shouldn't have used the word [censored].Also, hanging up without asking if there's anything else is rude. Ideas of rude varies on the person.

Ideal Image Cool Sculpting

I paid for services in April 2022. they weren't able to schedule my appointment until July 2022, which they didn't inform me of until after I paid and was locked into contract. I spoke to them about a refund in May 2022. They told me that I needed a doctors note in order to get out of the contract. I was able to obtain a note, as I have a thyroid and severe kidney disease. I sent the note to the lady I was working with and have yet to hear a word back from her. I've now been calling for over two weeks. I've been hung up on multiple times. I've left voicemails. Today I spoke to someone and she told me that she'd send me the reimbursement form and asked a few questions. It has been 5 hours and I still have yet to receive the document that she "rushed" for me.

Desired outcome: Refund. I have not missed an appointment, nor have I received services. My primary care physician does not believe that it is safe for me to receive treatment. I just want my money back.

Ideal Image Unauthorized Charge

I'm reaching out because an unauthorized charge was processed on my account and I'm not sure how.

I've never provided you my personal banking information but I was charged $272.44 for what I'm not

sure. I cancelled services weeks ago and provided all requested information from my surgeon and

primary care physician. Nothing has been authorized and you all illegally withdraw money from my

bank for services not authorized, received or performed. They further charged a line of credit

$3,500.00 causing my credit score to plummet. I repeatedly emailed regarding this issue before a

charge was made and Ideal Image agreed to cancel the appointments and that I wouldn't be charged.

They never completed this process hoping I would choose other treatments then maxed out all credit

lines and my debit card when no services were ever performed. I followed their contract and

submitted doctors notes explaining that my body could not withstand any procedure at this time.

They tried to get me to sign a contract promising I wouldn't take any recourse and then they would

refund my money. My bank told me if I dropped the dispute Ideal Image doesn't have to pay me. Ideal

Image waited until the 90 day mark to respond and eliminate any opportunity for recourse through my

bank. They also only provided partial facts receiving a favorable decision and did not communicate

that I submitted all requested documentation to them 30 days before any money was transacted. This charge should've never occurred according to their own policies.

Desired outcome: Refund of $271.44 to Debit Card and $3,500.00 reversed to Credit Line as no services were ever provided and cancellation was in ample time.

I am actively pursuing a Class Action lawsuit against Ideal Image! PLEASE comment if you would like to be included in this lawsuit.

I will NOT tolerate what they have done to me and MANY (thousands and thousands) of others.

Please join me if youve been ripped off, intimidated by, gaslighted, conned or discriminated against by this company.

I am planning on joining in on a class action lawsuit. I have already filed a complaint on this website, but I am planning on filling a complaint on Better Business Bureau and General Attorney's Office. I am absolutely livid and shocked that a company would be so deceptive to so many people. They purposely withheld information during the consultation and agreement process. I had no idea I was signing a law-abiding contract (and I made it a point to read the fine print. It was really hard because the lady kept talking to me. I guess to distract me, which worked.) What kind of company makes you sign away your right to bring this to court? I don't care if that's what they say. So many people are going through this. Unless they resolve my issue, I will continue to make a fuss about it, and I will join anyone on their class action lawsuit until this is resolved.

This company is very deceiiful. They sell you something without your complete understanding of the procedure being sold. The sale I purchased was over the telephone as I was on vacation, but having trust in the sales associate, whom by the way is no longer with the company, I agreed.

I was very much deceived in understanding the services that I purchased and asked for alterntive services upon my return from vacation. I was told by the current manager, who is also no longer employed by the company that I would be able to use tthe paid money to get different services up to the value originally spent.

This was back in July of 2019. Life happens, kids, work, and then Covid hit and I was not willing to schedule.

Finally in 2021, as Covid started to supress, I attepted to make an appoinment. I explained the situation as described above and was told this money could be used and redemmed at my next appointment. The receptionist at this time confimed she saw the money in my account and again reaffirmed it could be used for alternative services. At this time, there were no appointments available due to understaffing. I called several times and to my dismay it was an onging no.

When finally geting the appoinment, I knew I would be able to use the money spent b/c the former manager and sales associate, as well as the receptionist who I had spoke with in 2021 assured me the money was in my account, as what was promised could be used for an alternative service. The day of the appoinment, I again explained what had happened. The "reciptionast, perhaps the manager" again stated she saw the credit, but denied me of any servie. When I questioned stating if she could see the credit and askng why it could not be redemmed, I was told, "You are being rude and she didn't appreciate it." Being a professional individual, I decided to leave without disputing with a receptionist at Ideal Image who really didn't care.

Since, I have made several attempts to contact the compnay. I did reach several assoicaties seamily sympathetic and "undetrstanding my frustraion, and that someone would be reaching out soon."

I finally thought I had a break through when someone whose name at this time will not be discolsed, but that she would handle the situation. I made several phone calls, some returns back and that she was still working on it. I have emailed documention and also have voicemails of the interactions.

After not hearing back, I made several attempts to reach out to employees from the 800 number who again seemed very sympathetic and apologetic, but I am still waiitng for a resolution.

This to me is trickery and needs to be addressed. I see many of you, like Kelli and I have not the been pleased with this company. We need to pull together as a group and get what we rightfully and trusingly paid for.

This company should NOT be allowed to mislead its customers, take our money, refuse paid for services, and get away with this. We are all hard working individuals, and our money spent is in believeing a slogan of, " North America's #1 Aesthetics Brand." I beg to differ and believe many of us agree.

Please if you are a person who has been decieved please reach out.

Ideal Image I purchased services before COVID - COVID HIT paid 1400.00- EXPIRED

I purchased a 2 pack 1400.00 - I was able to use some of my BOTOX- then COVID hit. I work in the HEALTHCARE industry So I have to be very careful of exposing myself to others during COVID and the strains out there. I have not been able to use my services. They extended my "contract". Now Its expired and I am out my services. 1400.00 worth of IP therapy that I never used and 32 units of BOTOX. They said they would submit a Complaint for me but "nothing will happen" I am out of luck.. its my own fault - COVID was 2 years ago.

I am sorry we are still in COVID.

Ideal Image Not allowing me to get treatments I payed for

I signed up to have Ultherapy treatments. They split them up into 3 treatments and also a lip injection. I am currently paying Ally lending company monthly. I received my one lip injection and one Ultherapy treatment. I called them to make my other appointments and they will not honor this. They told me my contract has been reviewed and has expired! I didn’t know about the time limit and was never told you better make appointments soon before they expire. I am still paying for services they won’t give me. At this point I am frustrated and have tried talking to them and they will not allow me my treatments. I will fight to get a refund for services not received. I have recommended ideal image in the past and would have been a continuing customer but they way they treated me I will never go back and not recommend to anyone! Customer service is horrible! If this isn’t resolved I will be contacting a lawyer.

We NEED to talk! I got Ultherapy and now have nerve damage because the nurse wasnt trained properly. I didnt finish the service because it was so bad...they took the FULL amaount from Ally and now Im fighting for a refund!

This company is a total scam!

Ideal Image Appointments

I bought a service from this company in June 2021 because they said they can get me an appointment week of 8/12/21. This date was used because the Richmond office would not be fully staffed until that week. I have made several attempts to schedule and to date I still don’t have an appointment. Company once asked me to drive 3 hours to Virginia Beach to get an appointment. Working with this company is a very difficult process. Now I have asked for a refund and still no reply’s from anyone. Please help get word out to help other potential customers to

avoid being scammed by them. My service that I ordered and did not get cost 2000.00 dollars.

Desired outcome: Appointment before 8/1 or full reimbursement.

Ideal Image Filler

On July 8 2022 I had a free consultation with Ideal Image. I was offered discounts for fillers which seemed reasonable and so I proceeded to "agree" to forms that were too long to read but was explained during the consultation process as "formalities". I received an appointment for Saturday, July 9 2022. I drove for 1 hour during the rain to my appointment only to be told upon arrival that the nurse was "sick" and did not come in to work. I asked if I could get an appointment closer to home at another location and was told that nothing was available at any locations for another two weeks. The staff had no courtesy, they were rude and made no attempt to accommodate my request. I asked who I can speak to and they gave me a fake email address. I have voiced my dissatisfaction with Ideal Image and requested my money back. I will keep posting my complaint until my funds are returned or my attorney files a lawsuit against Ideal Image...whichever comes first!

Desired outcome: An immediate refund of my payment as no service was rendered as promised.

I started IDEAL IMAGE in Albuquerque new Mexico a.k.a. Rio Rancho the girl that did it the first time she was excellent they had too many bosses and when the girl did it I had a little hairs when I came back and then when they started doing it they lowered it you know the difference between high and low had too many boxes then we got transferred to Tucson Arizona the same exact thing we have to start from the beginning because you’re not our client and we have to work our way up there oh OK we get that done no the $189 you’re supposed to use for touchups honey I was using that not for Tessa to get rid of the hair the hair is not gone and it’s causing Health problems for somebody that’s already gone through puberty cyst acne and the hair is still there and that’s what’s causing all this and I have to pay deductibles for medication creams that aren’t going to help it might help the sister acne go down but it’s there I was promised and toes ideal image hair removal is permanent well the way I look I’m not permanent they’re still here I should get my money back that way I can go to a plastic surgeon or a dermatologist that won’t rip you off

Ideal Image cool sculpting, promised results then received none

I went in for all of my appointments for a cool sculpting procedure for the area under my chin. almost every appointment I went to the machine did not hold and they had to restart, but they promised me results nonetheless, then at the final consultation, they showed me the pictures, admitted to little-to-no progress and then told me nothing more and I left.

Ideal Image Appointment

Look. You are holding $3,300 of mine and continue to run my debit card for $1800. I have yet to even go to an appointment and no longer want to go to ideal image for any of their services. Give me my money back. This is ridiculous. No matter what your stupid contract says, you cannot make me use your services. I bought into all of this silliness. My first appointment was just a couple of weeks out in April 2022. Two days before my appointment the Tulsa Oklahoma office cancelled on me. They scheduled my next appointment for September 16, 2022. WHAT THE?! My only option was to go to Oklahoma City, OK which now instead of an 1 1/2 hour drive it was a 3 hour drive. This appointment was for June 23rd. By then I had had it and cancelled the appt and demanded the $3300 back they are holding hostage. I have called every day since to no avail. This is ridiculous. I have been able to get an appointment with a very reputable company within 3 days of my initial phone call. I just want my money back.

That is what they are doing to all of us. What is worst, for us who used ALLY, they got the money in full. No service, no appointments.

What kills me is now I am paying out of pocket to have laser hair removal. And I am paying ALLY. And they had all the entire $2,800.

They are still running adds, and emailing and texting them to me.

How can a company do this in America?

I wrote the Attorney General, ALLY, the Better Business Bureau, and I got nowhere.

I really hope we can do a lawsuit.

Ideal Image Pain and have been feeling ill

They have told me that I well feel no pain and that I well see results in about a couple days on my first session which I yet have seen they also didn’t tell me which I shouldn’t do or do when ask if I need to work out they told me no they are liers and the amount they charge is crazy I have been and Intense pain and have had leg pain and back pain since I had this done all I want is a refund of the session I have not used and cancel what ever contract I have

Ideal Image Refund

I'm completely disappointed with how poorly the representatives at Ideal Image Fort Lauderdale has handled this situation. June 7, 2022 I went into one of your locations (Las Olas - Ft. Lauderdale, FL) for the Ulta Therapy session that was booked since the previous month as a mother's day gift from my kids. I arrived to appointment at least 30mins ahead of time, just to ensure everything was seamless. I was then greeted by my therapist who prepared everything, but at not even two minutes into the procedure I had to tell her to stop because, the pain was so excruciating and unbearable. The therapist began to apologize, and stated on a scale of 1-10 the pain would be a 10. She even stated that she has made suggestions to her team that some sort of numbing or medication is needed for these type of procedures. I feel very misled as it was never explained to me prior to my appointment that this going to be something unbearable. I've made several contact to the location in an attempt to get the issue resolved and my refund but I've yet to be contacted.

Ideal Image Breach of contract/price gouging

Hair removal contract 2007 and one 2008 with the "all inclusive" package "includes unlimited touch-up sessions at no additional charge, provided that you have complied with this agreement, including, but not limited to, the treatment schedule. If you have not complied with the treatment schedule or terms of this agreement, then additonal charges at our then current rate will apply. One touch-up session may be used every quarter following the regular last session.'

I was told and it was in the news that you settled a class action law suit concerning this matter. After that point, the agreement was honored, after they researched it. You bought these contracts when you bought this complany. You now must honor them. A legal team already took this exact contract for many people to court and won. My daughters and my contracts have not changes since then, the owner of your company has changed. You have proven yourselves to be a dishonest company in trying to get out of these such contracts. I wonder if others like me would also be interested in having their contracts honored legally.

Your legal dept called me today, was kurt, rude and demanding. She also hung up on me. She tried to tell me that I had to use these free subsequent sessions within a year. Nowhere on the contract does it state this. The contract states that unlimited touch-up sessions at no additional charge. One touch up session may be used"every" quarter following the regular session. I repeat every quarter. If I must, I will consult my legal team on this, but I will bill you for whatever that cost me. I will ask for a full refund of both my contract, my daughter chelseas contract which is the same agreement, plus all the time this has taken me. I will also ask for reimbursement of treatment I must pay for elsewhere to finish the job you left incomplete. Chelseas contract is below, mine in safe deposit box and is much more. You owe just chelsea $1,120.00 and paula more.

Ideal Image Scammed and harassed by ideal image

On 6/1/22, I had a free zoom consult with ideal image at 1:15pm. Prior to the appointment, I was called countless times by the company trying to talk me into taking the zoom consult. If they called and I was unavailable, a voicemail was left every time. During the zoom consult with Celia Sodini, pricing for laser hair removal was discussed. Ally Lending was used to see if I would be approved to proceed with the elective laser hair removal. The total coming to about $6,000. Celia misrepresented the information by stating that payment options could be changed and could cancel if I changed my mind about treatment if it was before my first appointment. She had me sign what she called a "consent" form for the laser hair removal. Turns out once again, the information was misrepresented. On 6/2/22, Ally Lending sent an email stating the payment would be sent to ideal image two days from that date. I responded to the email stating I no longer needed the loan because I was cancelling all services with ideal image. the money from Ally Lending was still sent in full regardless of this email and having NO treatments. On 6/6/22 around 6pm, I spoke with Ally Lending about disputing the case. On 6/6/22 following the call with Ally, I called ideal image to dispute further services and verify my appointment on 6/15 had been cancelled. Since, I have received countless phone calls from ideal image trying to discuss why I would like to cancel the elective laser hair removal. I emailed Celia and was told there is nothing she can do regarding the refund. I was told the only way to fully cancel with refund was to fill out a detailed health history form proving I was medically not for treatment. On 6/9/22, I spoke with Ally Lending to ask if the money had been sent in full which it had been. I asked the representative why the money had been sent prior to treatment regardless of my email stating to not send the money due to cancelling with ideal image. The representative stated that was between me and ideal image. I also asked if I have to make a payment would I be refunded depending on what happens with the case which the woman stated yes. She informed me to wait to hear back from the case representative. On 6/10/22 at 11:33am, I received a phone call from Marion Bennett. I missed the call, and a voicemail was left stating that the medical director looked at my health history form stating I did not have any contraindications for laser hair removal and would not be refunded. HOWEVER, the health history form was INCOMPLETE. I had not filled out the health history form in full and did not click the submit form. I immediately called Marion to inform her the health history form had not been completed. In response, she stated she was closing the case. On 6/10/22, I submitted a complaint to the BBB regarding my experience. On 6/11/22, I emailed Marion stating my experiencing, how I am suffering from severe anxiety regarding the laser hair removal, that the health history form has been completed and submitted, and that the case should be reopened. I had not received a response as of noon on 6/14/22, so I emailed her again as a second attempt for a response. She then stated that the medical director was reviewing my health history for and would let me know if I am medically unfit for treatment. If so, I would receive a refund. If not, she stated I would still need to pay regardless of not receiving any treatment from the company. I have never stepped into the building. I asked for a copy of the consent form that I had signed. She stated that the payment break down was the "consent." I do not see a signature on the copy I have been sent. On 6/14/22, I emailed Joshua with Ally Lending who is the representative handling the dispute case. I summarized the phone conversation that was had with the woman representative on 6/9/22 to verify the information was correct. I am waiting a response.

On 6/13/22, I received an email from the BBB regarding a response that Ideal Image made about the complaint I submitted. Following the detailed description of my experience, the company responded "we are currently working with this guest to resolve." I had to continue to reach out to ideal image to get a response regarding the request to cancel. I thought it was interesting that prior to the BBB complaint the company had no problem trying to contact me nonstop and feel as if I was being bullied by the company. However, once the complaint was sent to ideal image, the communication from the company stopped regardless of me reaching out.

I am suffering from severe anxiety related to the laser hair removal and this entire process of being mislead, the company misrepresenting the information, and harassing me. I am confused on how a company can be paid for a procedure that has not been performed. In addition, I do not think it is medically ethical for a company to need a medical diagnosis in order to cancel an ELECTIVE procedure with ample time notice. Being in healthcare myself, I do not feel as though this company is advocating for my health and instead is simply seeking a profit. This entire experience has been a nightmare and feel as if I have been scammed.

Please if anyone is able to help me or advise me on what I should do that would be wonderful. Thank you in advance.

I have not been refunded. I have filed with the VA attorney generals office as well. I am waiting to hear back from them. Ally lending just emailed me stating they should hear something back tomorrow. I have yet to get an update from the medical director at ideal image which I find interesting. They were quickly to respond when the health history was incomplete. Now that it is filled out, they have not responded and has been a week or longer since I emailed stating for it to be reviewed. Please let me know if have any recommendations and if you hear anything back.

Also, I have to start making payments at the beginning of July. It is so frustrating, and I really wanted this resolved prior to the payment date. It is making me nervous since I have not heard back from the Attorney General's Office yet. It has been about a week since I filled with them.

I have not been refunded. I have medical contraindications but have been told that I do not. I have had laser hair removal in the past with complications along with the severe anxiety that is affecting me daily due to this. I have reached out to the Virginia Attorney General's Office last week. I have yet to hear back from them yet. I am reaching out to another lawyer in my area that has experience with this company as well. This has been such a nightmare and upsetting situation. I feel as if Ideal Image is not respecting my right as a patient and my right to make decisions regarding my body. I feel as if I am being harassed and bullied. I have lost all trust with this company. I am sorry to hear you are going through the same situation. Please let me know if you hear anything back. I had to reach out to Marion again today asking about my health history since it had been over a week since I submitted my health history form. I feel regardless of contraindications the medical director would say it is appropriate for laser hair removal. It is elective and a medical diagnosis should not be needed to cancel a procedure like this. I have fully lost trust in them as a company. I feel as if I am being robbed of my rights as a patient and robbed of my money.

Ideal Image Laser hair removal contract

On a Wednesday night I had a free consultation with ideal image with a consultant to go over pricing. Little did I know that I was going to be pressured into getting preapproved for a loan then signing for that loan and then signing a contract that I was given no time to read and was pressured the entire time. I was reassured several times by my consultant that I would be able to cancel within 72 hours. She even reassured me that I could reach out to her using her email and she would personally help me get out of the contract. This zoom call was also recorded on the end of ideal image. The next day I had to have a procedure to remove an atypical mole due to severe risk of melanoma. After this procedure and after seeing countless reviews of burns and scarring I decided I no longer wanted to follow through with receiving any treatments from ideal image. I emailed this consultant four different times and have not yet received any email. I emailed her 24 hours after I signed the contract. Less than 40 hours after I signed the contract I contacted Alli lending and canceled my loan. The next day and still less than 72 hours I called ideal image and spoke with a representative. She told me I could not get out of the contract and I only could if I had a medical excuse from a doctor. I was very upset because I was told several times by my original consultant that I had 72 hours to cancel. I told her to go ahead with setting up the report to send in a medical excuse by the chance I could get one. Monday I decided to file a complaint with BBB and they had responded to it with the same excuse that I needed to have a medical reasoning to get a refund even though I have not paid ideal image yet I have not had any treatments yet and I don’t plan to have any treatments. Ideal image is extremely difficult to get in contact with and if they do get in contact with you it is very short. Another representative called me today Tuesday morning telling me how I should submit a medical claim in hopes of potentially getting my contract canceled. I don’t need to submit any medical claim I just need my contract canceled. I do not want to do business with these people. They are unethical and I do not stand for any business that conducts business the way they do. I need out of this contract and I will not be paying ideal image anything. I will accept any help I can get with getting out of this contract .
