refused to take u.s. currency rolled 1/2 dollars so was forced to use credit card
On 9/23/2018 1:32 pm. At Kroger 4025 Winder Hwy. Flowery Branch Ga. [protected]. I had several rolls of half dollars and wanted to pay for groceries and was flatly and rudely refused with no explanation. That was the only currency I had on hand for goods and services on a Sunday when no banks are open. They would not even exchange for paper money. I did not know you cannot use change in that store. It is not posted and if it was it would be unpatriotic. Kennedy Half Dollars are genuine U.S. currency. I think we should be awarded free groceries. I've never heard of any one refusing U.S. Currency. I shop at that branch regularly. Our Bill was over $69.00. We were unable to put any more than that on our credit card. We planned on more.
the cashier at kroger on 1244 tomball parkway she's racist
I'm a regular customer from Kroger we shop at the store from 2 to 3 times a week everytime I come with my kids and today Saturday 22nd of September we went to buy milk and another stuff my little 4 years old daughter she grabbed a few little things and haibrows that it cost $1.50 after I scan of my items. I was ready to pay and the cashier come grab my daughter by the hands and said did you pay already for. I asked her why she thinks that I don't she said because many kids come to still. That made me mad because my kids don't come to still and I asked her if she wants to come and check on the screen what she said I course I will but the point is the way she said it I never be embarrassed by no one and I don't going to let some people do it to my kids. so it makes me so upset I mean because I'm not the kind of people to come to steal all the store. I'm a regular customer and I teach my kids to be best on everything what they do I don't want to teach them to steal and I asked her why she feel like that. And she keeps repeating because kids come to steal I mean this is the way Kroger feel about our kids it's not way. She keeps laughing and make fun never apologize and I call the manager and she only says I will talk to her. What's the point in this case.
Write corporate a letter if you have to since the store manager does not appear to be resolving the problem. You can probably file the complaint with Corporate online.

front end management / store manager
I went to Kroger again today for the third time to get some all laundry detergent of which I was told they would get it on the truck last night. They did not get any asked bout a rain check to which I have gotten before they told me I could not get one so I asked if they could give me replacement product of which in the past I have gotten. Front end mgt said no I asked to speak to store manager she called him/ her. They didn't come to speak to me directly. He/she just told her what to say. I am very upset that I could not get my product. I have worked in the public before and as a manager. I know how important our customers are and trying to take care of their needs. I DO NOT feel as though I was treated in a respectful manner even as upset that I was I still tried to remain calm and respectful. Thank you for your time and I hope that you will resolve this issue
american legion
I am the manager of an American Legion at 3253 South High Street, Cols OH 43207 and we purchase our pop from Krogers at 3637 South High Street, Cols OH 43207. For the past 3 years I have purchased pop and other items from this store mostly without any problems. But every time we get a new checkout person who doesnt know how to do tax exempt and they call for a manager we are told we cannot purchase our product there and can only have the minimum limit. We probably spend about $400 a month on pop. We are a small business and cannot order ahead of time as we never know our demand plus I usually have to wait until a member will help me with the order. This week the order came to $200 and I was told by the manager if he let us have it he wouldn't have enough for his other customers. He insisted we would be turned away from now on unless we ordered 2 days ahead. We are customers also as are all of our members and we purchase other items besides pop. Other tax exempt organizations can go in with no problem and get their product. We go there regularly so maybe he needs to adjust his ordering. Maybe it is just because we are a veterans organization, who knows. All I can say is thank you Kroger for your support of our veterans!

two day sale for friday september 21st and saturday september 22nd
I visited the Kroger located at 4875 Floyd Rd Mabelton, GA 30126 on Saturday approximately 6:30 a.m. My reason for the visit was to catch the deals on the Oreo cookies family pack, Wright's brand bacon and the trident vibes gum on the 5x digital download.
I am an early morning shopper and this is my store of choice, however when ever there is a sale the store is never stocked for the early morning shoppers and the associates working give you the run around when you inquire about the items mentioned in the circular which are not readily available and min most cases sold out completely.
Today I asked for a raincheck for the three items mentioned above only to be told that I must get permission from a manager to obtain the raincheck. Problem is there are no managers available before 7 or 8 a.m. I called to speak with a Mr. Mason who identified himself as the store manager and I explained the situation to him and he tells me that there is nothing he could do and that he did not issue rainchecks for digital downloads. If this is the case the stores should be fully stocked the night before to allow customers to take advantage of the deals.
Is there any way possible I can receive a raincheck via US mail for the three items I was not able to purchase on the day of the sale?
Again the items are Wright's brand bacon 5 quantity
Trident vibes gum 5 quantity
Oreo cookies family pack 5 quantity

digital coupons
You advertise the All Detergent for 99 cents and can t get it! Then when you do get some you don't let anyone but it for 99 cents. And it was extended till the 22nd of September. So what's the problem! You advertise something and extended it then you should let everyone get it for that price! Bad business! And the people that work there are horrible! Don't stock well at all. Bad attitudes! And the store is dirty! And always water on the floor by the frozen foods. The one on new Cut Rd in Louisville Kentucky
pick up service and management
I placed an order for pick up 9/20/2018 and when I got to Kroger, I had to drive around the lot until there was room in the pick up lane. I waited for 15 minutes and an employee named Mark told me that he would have to wait on the customer that pulled up behind me first. I told him to cancel my order and to not charge my card. He made me wait in line even longer before I finally was able to speak with him. I told him that I would call management and he just displayed more of his lack of concern for customer service. When I got home, I called the manager, named Lacey and while I was telling her my problem and asking for reassurance that my card was not charged, she was not even listening and talking to others in the background. She said she would pass on my complaint and her tone told me that she would promptly forget it as soon as I hung up. I addressed her attitude and she said that they were really being slammed. This says to me that the other persons problem is more important than mine. I became more emphatic and said don't make me drive back out there. She started screaming for me not to threaten her and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to someone other than Lacey and she came on the line and told me it would be her or nothing. I finally got her to assure me that my card would not be charged. This is actually just the straw that broke the camel's back. Kroger Inglewood has many employees that are just uncaring and unfriendly at best and rude at worse. Enough is enough. I will be going to Trader Joe's in the future and finding a new pharmacy. I won't contact their local management because I am not going to listen to more of the same. Kroger needs to send their employees to a customer service seminar and hire management that is present and knows about their employees' strengths and weaknesses. I look forward to shopping at Trader Joe where good customer service is just their standard day to day way of conducting business.
refunds
Beware.
You can buy something at your local kroger, decide you do not want it, take it back (with original receipt ) and they can deny your refund. Yes, even with original receipt from THAT store. I WILL NOT be shopping at Kroger anymore I the future! So basically they pick and chose who they give refunds to. The Kroger in Paris Texas is the worst store ive ever delt with in my 52 years .
unethical behaviours
repemaning employee by three others for something only one needs to do. Making a cashier associate to only carrying out because they are not fast enough or up to the standards of which are supposedly set.
the bathrooms are horrible smelling and those who work as the store managers and customer service are not nice in any way and do not smile. Peronsally if you are going to move those from what they were hired to do then they deserve to be paided more
.
how you treat a group trying to help children
Your Pick and Save at 4698 S Whitnall Ave, St Francis, WI 53235. I'm sadden by the fact that your manager at that store would approach a non profit organization that does great thing for our youth and tell them that for there fund raiser they ( Manager of Pick and save ) would no longer sponsor them and provide the buns, hot dogs and Brats . The Lions of Cudahy have been doing this as a fund raiser for giving poor children glasses, for offering students scholarships. They use to do thre fundraiser at the Pick N Save in Cudahy that you shut down. The Lions of St Francis oked the lions of Cudahy to do this fund raiser Sence they St Francis lions have a popcorn sale fund raiser.
Kroger please have a heart it's a write off for you anyway.

prepackaged deli items
I have shopped at Kroger on Columbia Road in Martinez Georgia since 1988 and thru several store remodels and other changes the latest one takes the cake.
Kroger is known for it's "hometown" atmosphere. You become friends with the workers and appreciate the "personal" touch. It seems Upper Management is wanting to cut back on workers so there will no longer be a "person" to provide that "personal" touch. The deli's items will now be PRE-packaged. What the heck were they thinking? This was definitely a BAD decision. Bring back the "hometown" atmosphere. I do enjoy a fresh made sandwich or hot chicken tenders.
I may relocate my shopping and spend my $600 to $1, 000 monthly elsewhere.
meats
This is the 3rd time that I have purchased meat at Kroger in Kingsport Tn that has went way bad before the sale by date. I took the other two packages of meat back and didn't shop there for awhile. but it looked like they had straightened up so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and purchase ground beef patties again on 9/14 with a sell by date of 9/17. In my meat cooler in the fridge they went dark and smelled horrible as early as 9/16. The only reason that I didn't take this pack of meat back was that I did not want the smell in my car. I have shopped at Kroger for over 30 years but that all has stopped now..I have been there and saw other people bring back meat. some of the meat in the cooler is already turned bad.
produce: peaches
Just wondering why I cannot get an edible peach from your produce department.
The store I shop is in Mt. Juliet, TN. 4120 N. Mt. Juliet Road. I shopped 9/12/18 at 11:11.
I purchased a 2 lb. bag of peaches. They were 2 bags/ $5. I had recently been
buying my fruit from the Publix located nearby. It's higher priced but it's always
good. They had been selling the same style bags of Georgia peaches for $2.99
(same size bag). I don't mind paying extra for good, juicy, tasty, freestone peaches. The peaches I purchased at this store were hard so I put them in a brown paper bag to soften up for one day. The peaches are gritty, no juice and even no flavor that resembles a peach. Kind of blah flavored.
I think that maybe you should reconsider your produce buyer's choice of cost over quality. Shoppers will pay extra for good, seasonal fruit and appreciate not having to go find a roadside peach peddler.
the two days sale.
This company was offering a sale items for a two day event. On yesterday I went to purchase the sale items and one of the products had sold out. I went to Customer service to request a rain check for this item. I was informed that they weren't giving rain check for the flash sale item. I was advised to come back the following day at 6:00am because a truck was coming in. I stated that doesn't make any sense for me to have drive twenty miles back over here. When all I needed was a rain check. I still wasn't given the rain check. I went back to the store the next day at 6:10am noting the store opens at 6:00am. They had sold out of this product. My suggestion is that if there's a limit on a product it should be adhered to. That way all customers will get a chance to the product or be allowed to utilize the rain check policy.
employees rude
I was buying laundry Detergent and he let some girl buy 20 of them but when I tried to buy nine of them separately put them all up there was two left in my cart did not see them as I was leaving heard someone yelling screaming thief thief was like who is he yelling at staff and security Both were yelling it asked for my receipts was looking for them and the staff and security yelled get back in here theif showed my receipt for what I bought which was .99 and he sad I'd you can only get five you must pay extra for the rest of them and kept yelling at me
raincheck
I went to the Shadow Creek Pearland TX they were out of ALL washing powder that you all had on sale. The manger Pedro was on staff very not customer friendly he said that they don't give out rain checks. When did this start everytime I go to this Kroger anytime you have a SPEACIAL they NEVER have it. My mom went to another kroger in champions they gave her one with a problem. This needs to be address some Krogers do and some don't
adult employee bullying teenage customer
When it comes to my experiences with the Kroger @ 5341 Highway 20 South, Covington, GA 30016, I feel that this store has been slipping for quite a while now. There are many people who feel the same way and I've also been having problems with a particular employee that others have had problems with. A cashier by the name of Deanna Griffin is someone I've had problems with for up to a year before I decided to stop shopping .
I ran across this employee when I was with family shopping I just saw someone looking at me and turned around to see who it was and she rolled her eyes and started looking at me crazy. I was confused because I didn't know her and didn't know why she did that.
The second incident was when I was in her checkout line and she acknowledged the person with me but didn't acknowledged me. I messed up on my transaction and she treated me like utter crap, she literally tossed the freakin receipt!
Then the last incident with her is when I was in another checkout line and she rolled her eyes at me. My mom saw it, and the at the time manager and a male shopper. Deanna did this while checking out another customer in her line.
I reported Deanna to Kroger HQs, I reported her to the store customer service (who treated me like a liar) but nothing prevailed only a "talk.". Like many people who are fed up with her, they says she plays stupid as if she doesn't remember. Also there are a couple of reviews on this site with people who went through the same thing, people see it so I don't see why they don't fire her.
I stopped going because I was so sick of being disrespected and bullied by someone I didn't know. The incidents with Deanna also made me physically sick as well.
Deanna isn't professional, she's just a person who puts up a front like she is.
It's amazing how someone who doesn't know you can bully you like that. A grown woman at that?
sale for all laundry detergent {2 day sale friday & saturday 09/14-09/15/2018}
Was at Groveport Ohio Kroger at 2:30 pm to buy the All laundry detergent . Was told all ready sold out and would not be getting any in, then called 5 more Kroger stores all sold out . How can you have a sale and not have items . I was aslo told the cereal that was on sale was also sold out and would not be getting any more for sale . No rain check or substitions for any of these items now this is a 2 day sale and your limit was 5 of each item for $0.99 come Krogers how can you have sales and no items for the sale . Are you trying to get people to come in and buy stuff that isn't on sale is that the plan . People go for the sales . Im so disappointed really thought Kroger was a good store but its just another company with false advertisment time for a new store most likely walmart would be a better store for shopping . Maybe if everyone band together and didnt buy anything from krogers for at least one day they would feel the hurt in their pockets and start honoring their sales and makeing sure there was enough of that item or at least rainchecks when sold out .
Same thing here in Mississippi and Tennessee. I have been checking the Kroger stores in Mississippi and Tennessee since last Saturday for the 99 cent All. Everyone of them are OUT, even though it was extended through the 22nd. This isn't the first time Kroger has done this. When you have an item that you know your customers are going to really go after make sure if you can't get enough in during that sale period, give a rain check,
kroger mastercard
I was told that I would receive a 25 cents a gallon discount if I used the Kroger credit card. WRONG! I was not told that residents in Louisiana do not get this discount. When I used the card, I was told that I would get a 10 cent a gallon discount when I used the card. It's not 25 cents per gallon, but if I can get 10 cents a gallon using the credit card I'll take it. WRONG AGAIN! The second time I used the card for gas, I was told that I would still have to earn enough credits to get the discount. I've been lied to twice. If I set a fee for service with Medicare or Medicaid stating I would give them a 25% discount for patient services, I would go to jail for fraud. The sales pitch to sell this card is no less than FRAUD!ca Unless you purchase Kroger brands, my Visa gives me a better cash back reward! What is the incentive to keep this card? What is the value of this card?
