Heritage Farms Chicken
I have been purchasing this chicken for the last several months, looking for a more affordable option in the current state of things. Recently, I have noticed that they chicken had sharply degraded in quality. It is disgusting. It tastes like fish and chlorine. At first, I thought it might have been preparation, something in the seasoning or cooking process, but it is definitely the chicken. I through an entire package away thinking it had gone bad during the defrosting process and have had to throw two entire packages away after preparing them. It leaks a vile gray discharge when cooking.
There is something wrong with this chicken. I have wasted 100s of dollars assuming it was something post purchase, but after reading other online complaints, I realize I am not the only one. You owe your consumers a better product.
Desired outcome: I would like the purchase amount that I made for this chicken in the last 6 months to be refunded. It’s evident there is a known problem as well as a better quality, affordable offering.
Visa gift card #[protected] (last 8 nos. On bar code [protected]
I bought a Visa Gift Card for $100 plus $5.95 fee at Fry's grocery store in Mesa, AZ in Feb of 2023. On Feb 22/23 I went to register the card (first time tape was taken off the numbers), it showed that $98 was used for Amazon in WA. I bought it in AZ. I then called the [protected] number to straighten things out. They advised me to fax front and back of card, proof of payment and my ID, which I did (with a fax cover sheet outlining the situation and contents of fax) at my cost of $13 at Staples.
On Mar 2/23 I called same number only to have them say that ID was not clear and to resend ID. I did this and spent $4,80 at Staples
On Mar 10/23 I called for update. Was told ID not clear and to resend all docs. I spent $14.90 to resend
On Mar 22/23 I called for update;. I was told ID had to me US. So my friend used her US ID and I resent fax, spending $11.37.
On Mar 27/23 I was told receipt not clear. Just one excuse after another. I stated my frustration to CSR and she ended up hanging up. To me it is quite clear that we showed beyond a shadow of a doubt I bought this. No one has contacted the person who used it fraudulently to prove their purchase. I have sent this info to the Kroger Complaints Dept in Fla. but have not heard back.I have spent $105.95 for gift card and over $50 in fax costs to Staples
Signed: VERY FRUSTRATED CONSUMER
Desired outcome: I would like to receive a replacement Visa card for $100 since I did not get to used it!
False accusation
At 10:46 am on March 24, 2023 a Kroger employee falsely accused me of exposing myself. I never exposed myself at all. The Kroger store at Epps Bridge Road banned me for two years. Neither the Kroger manager nor any of the Kroger employees at that location asked me about the accuracy of the accusation. The manager at Kroger as well as the Kroger employee totally bought in to it
Desired outcome: Rescission and ellimination of the ban.
Deli Department
03/24/23 11:00am - At deli counter waiting, as usual, to be waited on, one almost has to give a shout out to be noticed. Stacie saw me and stated that it would be a bit because she was taking chickens out of the oven. She is never pleasant or apologetic. I overheard her on my last visit there telling a customer she was going on her break and could not wait on him. He was unhappy due to her abrupt attitude and said a few words. She reciprocated that she was entitled to her break and he left. I voiced my verbal complaint to the day manager (?) today who made mention there have been daily complaints about Staci.
This is the only grocery store in our town, and it makes for a very unsatisfactory experience when dealing with a representative like her from your company. She is a poor reflection of your store.
Desired outcome: I feel she needs to be reprimanded for her poor daily customer service. Maybe she would benefit from some additional training program. I would appreciate a response from you.
Customer service
Last week, I shopped at the Kroger's stores located at Collins Lane Blvd and Crossroads Blvd. in Northern Kentucky. On two different occasions, there were no carts to use at the Collins Lane location with thirty minutes left before they closed, and shoppers were told that no transactions would be allowed after 10p.m. at the Crossroads Blvd. location on three different occasions. That's bad business!
Desired outcome: If you are about making businesses better, then do your job. I have filed complaints with Kroger's, they ignore you. If you don't do anything about this, then I will write to my Congressman and Senator.
Pharmacy
It's been 3 times that this Smith's pharmacy on Coors Blvd. in ABQ NM gives me less medication than what has been prescribed. I have twin teenagers that have been taking methylphenidate for years, for their ADHD. Recently I had to start getting their prescriptions at Smiths due to a shortage on the medication. However it's been 3 times where my kids run out of medication about a week before their next prescription can be refilled. My kids do not take extra pills and there is no one in my house hold that would find it necessary to take their medication. The only reason this is happening is because the pharmacy is not giving me the amount on the prescription. Yet they claim they count the pills several times yet I have had this issue 3 times. These kids can't focus in school without their medication and they are stuck with nothing for the next few days.
Desired outcome: I need my kids medication to be filled as prescribed. My kids are stuck with out their medication for the next 5 days and the pharmacy don't care.
Account access
i cannot access my account either using the iPhone App or the website. I tried logging into the website using both Edge & Chrome.
On my iPhone I get the error message: You do not have permission to access http://api.kroger.com/v1/connect/signin. The reference #18.1de1dd17.[protected].2caa9ad.
I have tried using your online chat twice and the person I was chatting with stopped texting me. I also called [protected] and was hung up on.
When I tried to call my local store and speak to a manager, the phone rang for over 5 minutes without anyone picking up the phone.
Desired outcome: Someone needs to fix my account ([protected]@outlook.com) and call me at [protected] or email me at [protected]@outlook.com when My account is working.
Error RV 9547
Just like everyone else with this error - I filed a fraud charge, and it's been 5 months and still not resolved with this error. I have been on the phone 3 x today to resolve this. Each time on hold as they "research it" and then tell me to wait an hour and it should be fine. How does me being on hold for 45 minutes total and waiting 3 hours total get me to fill a pick up order TODAY which is the intent? The FIX the ERROR.
digital coupons
I was buying groceries at Frys on Cotton and Greenway surprise Az I could not get the digital coupons to work. I asked for help at the checkstand and the cashier was great. However, Manager would not help or give me the time to give me my digital coupon. It is ridiculous that I could not get the sale.
I have shopped with Kroger for years and you always honor coupons

Heritage farms chicken party wings
These are the worst chicken wings I’ve ever purchased. 2.5 lbs. of tiny wing pieces with tips included in the 16 piece count. Feathers galore, and they must’ve butchered these things with a hatchet. Broken bones in almost every section. $13.99 regular price, $7.99 on sale, and $5.99 with a Kroger digital coupon. If I knew what was in the bag, I wouldn’t have paid $1. Complete garbage. Prepare to eat bone fragments and feathers instead of chicken wing meat.
Desired outcome: Refund
Unauthorized credit card charge; error code RV9547
In Nov/Dec 2022, I was charged for someone else's order 2x. I contacted Kroger immediately and the charges were reversed but I still cannot order groceries from Fred Meyer.
Dec 3- 141.76 charge
Dec 9- 141.76 adjustment
Dec 14- 141.76 charge
Dec 15- 141.76 adjustment
I've been on hold for hours at a time with no resolve. I'm extremely upset that there is this hold on my account or whatever you want to call it preventing me from ordering groceries. Now I'm out the boost membership price because I can't use it and Kroger doesn't care. Nobody at your customer service will resolve my issue. This is unacceptable. I've been a long time customer for many years and never treated this poorly by a company.
Desired outcome: I want the fraudulent error code removed from my account so I can use my boost membership to order groceries or refund my boost membership price if you are not going to let me use it. Thank you.
Kroger manager at 00619 Kevin Davis
I got a job at Kroger in the Starbucks section. I was excited but I didn't catch on like I thought and the girl I was working with told me she felt sick and told me to not take any orders since I couldn't anyway and to wait for her to come back, she was gone a while and I had a line, customers were becoming inpatient and started yelling for someone to come...
Read full review of KrogerProduct availability and computer software
This has been going on continually for months. I am wondering if Kroger is about to go "belly up"? Very few of the products I need are available. I often use delivery service because time is short for me, plus I am handicapped. Also, why advertise for items that are unavailable? Please advise. Kroger's computer software is unbelievably messed up. This is not a new issue. Does anyone at Kroger have any idea of what is going on? As a loyal customer of at least 40 years, I'd like to know what is being done, and when these issues will be resolved.
Thank you.
Desired outcome: Bring back the Kroger of the past. Make necessary management changes.
Grocery pick-up
I've been a loyal Kroger shopper for many years, but several times I have had difficulty attempting to utilize Kroger's grocery pick-up service. On multiple occasions I have lost my chosen time slot in spite of having checked out before the "deadline" time that was indicated. I called customer service on one occasion and was told they couldn't do anything for me. The hour and a half that I spent preparing my order was just wasted time because I couldn't pick up at the only time slots left available for that day. Today, 2/10/23, I attempted to create a shopping list that I could then transfer to the cart exactly when I was ready to check out and instead of my choices populating the shopping list they went into the cart. I contacted chat to ask how to move the items from the cart to a list and was told I couldn't do that. This time it cost me about an hour of my time. I've wasted more time and effort on what is supposed to be a service that provides convenience and saves time. I'm guessing this is an issue with the technology. If Kroger cannot get their technology figured out, they should stop offering the service. Since going inside somewhere else to shop is far more efficient, less a waste of my time and less of an exercise in frustration, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
Desired outcome: Fix whatever is wrong with the technology or stop offering the pick-up service as a "convenient" option.
Not receiving coupon credit
On 2/9/23 I went to Kroger [protected] S Emerson Customer Svc Desk at approximately 530pm, Cindy (if that's her name), short dark hair with gray intermixed, glasses was working. She is one of your rudest, noncompetent employees that I've encountered (generally there's an older man who knows what he's doing and is efficient). I had purchased some...

Went to get my groceries I ordered. Had to go inside to get some of the items. That they SAID was unavailable. Then I go out to get my pickup and the young woman comes out with nothing? So I’m like I have to take my kid to school I’m kinda in a hurry, explaining how I had to go inside. Wasted some of the time there to get my items. Then another woman comes out says I owe$ I give her $. Then she (the young woman) comes back. Says they don’t take cash? So I ask her just to cancel the shampoo and conditioner. And my daughter hands her PayPal card and says here just use this. She takes the card then says she just cancelling my whole order?! So she tries to walk away with my daughter last card. My daughter has to get out and make her give it back? Then I talk to management. They say. Basically she’s the boss and what she says goes?! Ok. Kroger if you want to lose loyal customer. This is how it’s done. Thanks
Desired outcome: Just want them to know how their company is going to be driven into the ground
I am having bad experiences with placing pick up orders as well.
I emailed the CEO about my experience. They didn’t seem to look entirely into the situation. They say my order was canceled. Because of what took place in the parking lot. I got out of my car to go inside to talk to a manager. AFTER. She took my daughters PayPal card and said she was canceling my whole order? If they actually took the time to look at the video. They’d realize she was a liar. I had like 5 transactions with these people. And they never. Not once even tried to bring my groceries out to me. ? Even after they was paid for? I ask her to remove 2 items from my order and she threw a fit and said it was all being cancelled 😡. Can anyone say !? Customer service What’s that? Customers always wrong
Kroger needs a complete clean out, starting with management, and working down. Most of these people are worthless.
Transgender preferences
I just read that Kroger fired two employees for refusing to wear a Pride logo during Pride month. I too was fired from the University where I taught in Texas for the same reason back in the '90's. All my reviews were good and in fact the students protested the University President's office for me. Please refrain from stifling religious beliefs and be proud of the employees that stand up for their rights. In America, we should be encouraged to voice our beliefs loudly: "One nation under God." In the same article it said that Kroger pays for employees' travel and abortions. If Kroger is so sympathetic to their "rights" why would they be so opposite for the rights of others; i.e, those who object to abortion and object to people who are PROUD of their sex life? I have to wonder why the LBGTQ crowd is PROUD of their lifestyle. Just practice it and be silent as the rest of us do.
Desired outcome: Change of practices. Adjust your hiring/firing procedures to ensure the rights of all. Fire if they cannot do the job, but stay out of their personal lives and don't silence their religious beliefs.
Thanks for reminding me that Kroger goes out of their way to promote unchristian values. I have other and less expensive places I can shop.
If your view is racist or you are discriminating against someone, it isn't your right to do that.
I'm not sure how you jumped to that conclusion based on the comment made. The whiny snowflake was complaining about an "alleged" policy by her employer that she chose to disregard and then was complaining about being terminated. The policy had nothing to do with firing people for being gay. That would be an absurd policy.
OMG what a little snowflake you are! Stop whining because you were fired. It's all about the choices you make in life. You need to accept the choices you make and realize and be alright with the consequences for your decisions. You in essence chose to be fired by not complying. If you want to live in a country where employees run organizations/stores/businesses rather than the owners and management, you should move to an island where you can create your own little world where employees tell management and owners what their policies should be.
So I guess you'd be ok with it if someone was fired for being gay? Sounds to me like you're the snowflake...
What a little cupcake you are. Do fairies still wear boots?

Simple truth low fat kefir products
I usually have the stores shoppers do the shopping and they don't have time to look at the dates on all the products, but the dairy department is falling down on their jobs. I shopped at the Bradley/Bourbonnais store on 2/2/23. Then I took the groceries home and I drank a couple of glasses of the kefir, and the dog also had a little. Anyway, this aged product is great if you need a colonoscopy. My GI doctor would have been very pleased because my insides were totally cleaned as were my pooch's. The cramps lasted a few days and have almost resolved. I called the store on 2/5 and the manager agreed to refund the products, or in this case she'll probably add them back on to Snap as I am retired and my Social Security check isn't wonderful so I get some help on groceries. Anyway, that doesn't reimburse me for the gas to get there to return the products or the illness that it caused. Just in case, take a look at the receipt and the bottle top photos. Two of the bottles are full. I would like to be informed of the retraining procedures you take with employees who are responsible for removing out of date products from your shelves. I don't expect you to fire them but make them aware of what their jobs should entail. People don't always look at those expiration dates.
Desired outcome: Retrain employees. Reimburse my gas costs. Hopefully the digestive issues resolve. They seem to be better but not yet 100%.
Fuel station #112
This has been an ongoing problem at this facility for at least 3 years. Of course, the customer only has to work with this for the short period when purchasing fuel. It is extremely difficult to impossible to read the text on the instruction screens on some of the pumps at this location (Bennett, CO 80102). A simple existing problem, but needs addressing. They are blurred, faded, dimmed. Others at the same facility are easily read. These, each need a tech to inspect and take the required action to correct. Especially experienced on the north most units at this facility.
Desired outcome: Repair/replace the units that need same.
Digital coupon program
January 2023, I went shopping at the Kroger off the George Bush Tollway, Plano, Texas and I saw a big sign in front of cherries with $1.99 a pound. I got 3 bags. When I went up to the checkout, there were no checkers so I went to the self checkout. I noticed the cherries rang up at $5.99 each. I called the gentleman working and he was polite and explained that I needed to use the Kroger Ap to clip the coupons as I shopped and then I would get the discount. I did not have the ap. This system slows down the shopping experience and works to Kroger’s advantage if a shopper does not scan the code because despite being a Kroger Reward’s member, the customer will not get the discount. It discriminates against people without access to the ap, and to people who don’t understand how to use the ap. What data must Kroger collect with this method which is discriminatory to customers and extremely cumbersome to use? The shopping experience is very unpleasant now and is less automatic in reaching for a product with a posted price. Please help me to understand why Kroger is doing this to it’s customers.
Desired outcome: Discontinue the necessity to scan the coupons to get the posted sale prices that are posted in front of the products in the store. Very time consuming and discriminatory!
