I fell in a kings soopers parking lot
Between 6-7 pm on 9/23/18 at the Kings Soopers in at Mississippi and Chambers in Aurora CO. I was walking out to my car - there was ripple in the pavement that I did not see and when I stepped on it, my right ankle rolled and I fell and landed on both knees.
My sons witnessed it, but I am not sure if there were any other witnesses as no one stopped. My son's helped me up and I proceeded to the car and drove home at which time I sat down and put up my legs as both knees, my right shoulder, the palm of right hand and my right ankle were sore. I cleaned up both knees as they both had abrasions on them and I iced my left knee and right ankle thinking they were just minor twists and would be okay.
That night when I got up to go to bed I could barely stand up and required help. I went to the urgent care on 9/24 due to ongoing pain and inability to weight bear on the left side. I was advised that I had sprained left knee and a chipped talus bone in the right ankle. I was put in a boot for the right ankle and they wrapped my left knee in an ace bandage and provided crutches. I missed the next week off work and then followed up with my Ortho on 10/4. He has referred me to PT for both the ankle and the knee. He discussed potential ligament damage to the left knee and advised that I will need to wear the boot for another 3-4 weeks and will need to use crutches until I can bear full weight on the left knee.
Due to the need for ongoing care and possible long term injuries due to potential ligament damage to my left knee I am turning in a claim for loss of income, medical bills and general damages.
a manager
On 3 seperate occasions jamie from east peoria krogers has gone out of her way to try and jeopardize my employment with a sub contracted company who cleans the floors during 3rd shift. I habe never even met this lady and she continues to interrupt my life. I am tired of being harrassed by this ungodly woman. You all need to move her back to Wisconsin and let her run those stores into the ground. She in not valued at a manager there and i now see the many reasons. Better yet instead of forcing any store to deal with her just terminate her employment, that would benifit everbody. Im keeping from this going viral on social media as of right now.
pharmacy customer service
Today while visiting the Kroger pharmacy in Atoka TN, the pharmacy technician Donna approached the window with a horrible scowling look on her face. She spoke to me in a very demeaning manner, and seemed bothered and irritated to serve me. She rolled her eyes multiple times when she had trouble hearing me thru the drive-thru speaker system. She was also very combative and hostile while helping me clear up some insurance problems. She never smiled, greeted me, or thanked me for my business.
The manner in which she speaks to customers is completely uncalled for, and should be addressed as soon as possible. According to her name badge, this employee does not appear to have worked for Kroger very long, and this behavior is certainly not in keeping with the outstanding customer service my family and I have grown to love from Kroger.
Thank you in advance for taking time to hear my complaint. If there is any further information needed, or anything I can do to assist with resolving this matter, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Respectfully,
Adam Johnson

fresh seafood
Today I was utterly shocked that I was not allowed to purchase fresh Salmon filets with SNAP benefits as I had done many times before. This is unequivocally sending the wrong message. I will contact whoever I need to in order to get my message through including but not limited to Local and State legislators, media, etc. It is repulsive that I am not afforded the same opportunities for my family because I receive benefits. In spite of the stigma, not everyone who receives benefits is lazy, uneducated, and unhealthy. Shame on you Kroger.
several issues kroger 7000 east broad st 43213
Good morning,
I visited the Kroger by my home last night at approximately 8pm. When I entered your store, there were zero carts available to shop with. They were all out in the parking lot. I normally get my cart as I am walking in, but this time I got a good parking spot. I asked the manager on duty if he realized there were no carts in the front the store. He apologized and told me he ordered more carts, but did not offer to send someone out or go get one himself. I took my three year old back out in to the lot to search for carts since no one offered to help.
The floors were dirty in several different areas of the store. There was trash throughout the produce section and other isles. The areas that I was shopping in were not properly stocked (sausagebaconstrawberries). The price of your blueberries was offensive, at $7.99 (I don't know the weight of the package, but there were plenty of those blueberries in stock). There was no one available to bag my groceries or to help put them in my cart. A young man did come over to help, but I had already loaded my groceries. He was busy doing something on his phone.
To top off this disappointing experience, when I cut open the peach I bought last night I found the pit inside to be rotting along with some of the flesh around it. I had to throw it out.
I have shopped at this particular Kroger for over 20 years. I worked for this Kroger as a teenager when it had a video store and also a Block's Bagels inside. This was a sad experience. It did not appear that any pride was taken in running this location. I will not be returning to this location.
It may be a good idea to discuss this email with your manager. No person under your employment is above helping a customer, mopping the floor or picking up trash. There is no excuse for the lack of cleanliness. If I were employee, I would not be proud to be associated with this location.
Best Regards,

cantankerous, miserable unfriendly person
I was never acknowledged by her; never requested my card or coupons. She became very agitated when she had to rescan items which prompted her to manually put the #s in; She became more irritated when she put the code in wrong; the bagger had to help her. I asked her a question and she did not acknowledge me. The receipt was torn in half when she gave it to me; therefore I couldn't checks for errors. NO APOLOGY NO THANK YOU. I will only come here for my medication and a few items.
fenton rd closing
Your not just closing a store. Your closing a community meeting place. Why close a store that is this busy all the time? It's more of a family gathering than a grocery store. This location is a community landmark, right next to one of the only surviving drive in movie theaters in the State. For decades, if your going to the show, you stop and get your...

Your pic and save delly for two Friday nights has failed. Last Friday I stopped to pick up fish and clam chowder., 5:00 pm. No fish, huge amount of chicken but the claim chowder pot was empty and burned . Really failure for a Friday night in WISONSIN.
To night we called first they said they would have fish at the self serve bar, but no claim chowder. Wow this is WISCONSIN, so we end up going to Hardies for dinner. I complained the first time last week to the manager. He gave me a half hearted apology and that was it, I left very unsatisfied and amazed on a Friday night in WISCONSIN this could happen. Again tonight 09/28/ no claim couder, I would suggest the Delly Manager, or more importantly the store manager know the culture. Not going to try again, Friday night fish frys our out for Roundies. I will say the experience with the pizza personnel and product has been more the I expected .

overcharging of medications
My name is Sherry Scott and I have been with Kroger's pharmacy for many years. I have insurance coverage through Piedmont Community Health And once the new year started, I have been charged for my medications. The pharmacy supervisor caught the discrepancy. My copay is $0. Once she brought that to my attention I thanked her because I had payed all year. Could you refund my cash that is owed me please. I called my insurance company and they said Kroger is responsible to pay back my money. Thank you, Sherry Scott. [protected]. [protected]@email.vccs.edu
gluten/ gluten free products
The store in my area has glutenous products next to gluten free. I addressed this with customer service and she informed me that this is the way it is done and this is really a corporate issue. She didn't have a clue why this could be problematic. I emailed the corporation and am awaiting a reply.
But this is what is really happening.
#1 Storing these items together presents a cross contamination problem.
#2 The company intentionally sets the store putting these items together.
#3 Employees of the company in general are either not educated or concerned about food allergies.
#4 The store is not offering the customer a safe shopping experience by passing off the situation.
#5 The store could potentially be loosing revenue.
#6 Food allergies are not a joke. Because you are in the grocery business this should be a no-brainer.
#7 The store manager do not seem to be empowered to ensure customer satisfaction.
We'll see how this is handled.

The company has agreed to review this issue.
The placement of some items in close proximity can be problematic. Placement of these types of items is dictated by a schematic generated from the company. Sometimes brands encourage placement on a shelf. Management can explain knowledge of product placement, food allergies and customer concerns.
As a result customer relations will improve and the store's revenue can improve.
The ultimate goal would be to have a safe shopping experience and happy customers.
With the company reviewing this issue I predict a successful and positive outcome.

false advertisement/unprofessional
The Kroger "flash sale" on Halloween candy says jumbo bags 50% off now I don't know about you guys but jumbo bags to me mean 190 pieces or more not a $5 piece of [censored] bag so great job on false advertisement. Also your manager very unprofessional getting on the intercom saying the associates name and that he has a girlfriend. This happened Thursday 09/27/2018 around 8PM at the Kroger in Mars Hill
luvsome dog food complete meals
Yesterday I purchased several varieties of this complete soft food for my 17 yr old dog who began having issues with dry food. I opened the Beef Stew variety and gave it to her. She appeared to enjoy it eating it down quickly. In the middle of the night she began whimpering and began to shake them three up on my bed. I quickly moved her to the floor where she continued to throw up and cry in discomfort. When I went to clean up her mess I discovered a rather large bone that had clear cut Mark's on it.
I'm sure you can imagine my disbelief schlock and concern. She only weights less than 10lbs.
I have attached pictures of the bone and container for you to take further action
receiving manager
I am a delivery driver that services Kroger store #653. On 9/27 I made a delivery to this location and after ringing the bell twice after a 4 minute period while listening to the manager on the other side talking she opened the door with an attitude saying dont ring the bell twice.I said to her do you ever have a good day and she responded no and dont ring the bell twice you [censored].I never cursed her or was rude to her I said I will be making a complaint to your manager and she responded I dont give a [censored]. If this would have happened with someone else it could have turned into something else. I am making a complaint and I expect and apology from Kroger and her.
advertised items not on display
I visited Kroger in Humble, Texas today and was frustrated because the advertised assorted pork chops were not in the meat counter and the guy that should have been putting them out, could not or would not do his job because the entire time he was on his cell phone. The advertised chicken breast were in the counter but were not stamped with the price based on the sale, which Kroger usually does. A female worker came to assist me, but explained that they should have the sale price on the packages, but they were not. She proceeded to take all the packages out and stake the on a cart them took them to the back to put the correct price on them, and apparently she expected me to wait until she had completed the task before giving me a couple.
all laundry detergent
They were running a flash sale for two days on All laundry detergent for .99 if you downloaded the digital coupons. The coupon could be used 5 times. After this sale on the first day it wasn't any of the product. I tried to get a rain check. I was told I couldn't get a rain check on flash sale items and to return to the store the next day at 6am. I arrived at the store at 6:10am and there wasn't any more of this product in the store. I was highly upset after getting up early and driving 20 miles to get this product. I filed a complaint on this website about this issue. They then extended the use of the coupon for another week. I went in the Cleveland, MS store everyday except that Friday because I knew the truck didn't run on Friday from the earlier incident with this product. I still wasn't able to get this product and wasn't allowed to get a rain check. There need to be something done about customers that are abusing the system. You should only be allowed to purchase the 5 limit in a purchase then you should have to get back in line for the next 5 limit. This would stop a lot of the hohgging over products.
pharmacy
Went to pick up prescription that was filled and when my husband asked for it, was told it had been picked up. Not myself or my husband or anyone else that I know picked up my prescription. Was told they would look into it and after waiting almost two weeks with no call back, I called them. After explaining what was going in I was put in hold and there was no record of who picked it up or where it went the woman told me they would refill the prescription at no cost. I explained I had another week of my old prescription left and would come in when it ran completely out. I ended up getting sick and was not able to tolerate anything on my stomach. When I went to pick up my prescription I was made out to be lying about who I talked to and was told they would let me have it this time but never allow it again. The girls attitude was like I was dishonest and they were not at fault. The more I thought about it the more upset I got because they were blaming me for their incompetence and not making notations on their computer in regards to this. My husband and myself have never picked up a prescription without signing for it. And using a lame excuse that they don't require all signatures, I don't believe because we have always had to sign our name before getting it. So they either gave it to someone else or they put it back on the shelf. But I refuse to take the blame for whatever they did with it, nor will I be treated with condescending attitudes. And no, there was no manager that even cared enough to speak with my husband and I to clear anything up other than tell the employee what to say from the office.

shoppers and produce
Hello. Krogers Eakin Rd Columbus Ohio. I fine it hard to go into Krogers lately due to a increase in male pretend shoppers. These men hover around, follow and some even have their cells out ( I think taking pics) pretending to be talking. In my experience as a woman I have not seen a time where men like to shop. There mostly white males between late 30s' to mid 40s'. I truly enjoy shopping at this Krogers because it's so close to my house. sometimes I walk. Plus there are many without transportation whom also shops there. It's becoming uncomfortable, first you don't notice and after time you see so many men. They kind of hang around with enough items to deter suspicion. PLEASE look into this matter. another matter is the watering of the veggies. TOO MUCH. my spinach was so wet it was wilted to almost slimy by the time I got home. so much watering could cause some type of out break. other then these couple of problems I enjoy shopping at this Krogers. Thank you for your attention..
all laundry detergent
The all been on sale since last week, every time I go in the Kroger in McComb Ms they OUT! I asked management and the lady's that be at the customer service desk for a rain check and they refuse to give me one. I don't understand why I can get a raincheck on everything else but the can't give me one on the All... Kroger y'all need to do better are start getting onto management about these kind of situations.
refused to take u.s. currency rolled 1/2 dollars so was forced to use credit card
On 9/23/2018 1:32 pm. At Kroger 4025 Winder Hwy. Flowery Branch Ga. [protected]. I had several rolls of half dollars and wanted to pay for groceries and was flatly and rudely refused with no explanation. That was the only currency I had on hand for goods and services on a Sunday when no banks are open. They would not even exchange for paper money. I did not know you cannot use change in that store. It is not posted and if it was it would be unpatriotic. Kennedy Half Dollars are genuine U.S. currency. I think we should be awarded free groceries. I've never heard of any one refusing U.S. Currency. I shop at that branch regularly. Our Bill was over $69.00. We were unable to put any more than that on our credit card. We planned on more.
