private selection broccoli florets
Brocolli floret private select handpicked bar code85669. 82155A6 was the worse broccoli I have had. I thought if I purchased the private select brand over the Kroger brand it would be better. Wrong, there were so many hard stems that would get caught between my teeth. I thought i'd Been had. I braid so much more for the private select brand. The Kroger brand was probably better. I'd like a refund.
scan, bag, and go - or not!
My fiancee likes scanning and bagging so we went through that entire process which took longer than normal. First of all the wine doesn't show the sale price. Plus we had coupons. Fast forward to an hour later and we go to check out and the scanner doesn't work so the Kroger employee takes our scanner and the entire order was erased. We are never trying this again!
pharmacy
Hello! I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Alexandria Louisiana who recently had an encounter with Kroger Pharmacy that I feel you should be aware of. I prescribed a medication to a patient (who's mother is a friend of mine) and she went to have it filled at Kroger Pharmacy. The mother was very upset about her child being put on this medication but it was a last resort. [removed] was the pharmacist on duty, as well as pharmacy tech, Lynn Palmer. The patient's mother was told a "PA should not be prescribing medication like that and they were not sure why a kid would be placed on a medication like that." The mother was upset and called me questioning why they would say this. I called and explained to Katie that I was not a PA and I do not need her to question my patients on the medication I prescribe. I also told her it upset the mother and they would not be back to Kroger's pharmacy and she told me to "Have a nice day" and hung up in my face. The next day my sister, who is a pharmacy tech, at another pharmacy, called to find out the last name of the pharmacist. The pharmacy manager, [removed], called her back and told her she wanted to know why she was asking the last name of her employees and if it was about the "prescriber that called yesterday irate and unprofessional" she told her I "flipped out" (though I never raised my voice) and "she didn't give a damn" "she wished she was there" and said the patient lied and "it was complete [censored]" and hung up in her face. Now I do not know if you record calls but if you do I am requesting you go back and check the records from October 17 around 5:30 and also October 18 around 10.30AM. I would love for you to hear for yourself how your employees in leadership positions are talking to patients and healthcare providers. It is absurd that a manager would ever speak to someone in this manner. I know the patient was not lying about her being questioned by the tech and pharmacist about the medication her kid was being put on because she is a personal friend of mine that would not lie about such. This needs to be investigated because I can tell you I will never use Kroger pharmacy personally and cannot recommend it be used by patient's I prescribe for because I do not want them questioning my medication decisions. If this patient had not been a friend of mine and trusted me, they could have decided since the pharmacist was questioning them, maybe they should find a different provider. This is not ok. If you would like to call me back about this I would love to provide more details.

Have neen drink this barnd for a long time without issues . You probably should look into this to find the problem. Bar code [protected]. 96-7490. Bought in the new Kroger store in Midlothian TX.
being falsely accused of shoplifting
My name Glen butler and I had the worst and the most embarrassing experience in your store located at 5330 Stockton Stockton Blvd in Sacramento California. Me and my sister shopped at rite aid and before we had to catch the bus home I told my sister I had to go to foods co and grab my dogs hot dogs to eat. I had her wait at the bus stop why I went to foods co. She is handicapped and in a wheelchair so I carried the bag of items we purchased at rite aid . Upon entering foodsco there was no security guard at the door…so I carried my rite aid bag in the store and grabbed the hot dogs I needed to buy and got in Natalie's checkout line…I put my rite aid bag on the belt with the 2 packs of hotdogs I was purchasing. The checker Natalee asked me what was in the bag I told her my stuff I bought from rite aid and she then asked me if I. Was trying. To steal the stuff in rite aid bag. At that point I asked her to call a manager and when the manager came he took my bag from rite aid and said he had to go watch the camera and left …upon searching my pockets I found the receipt from rite aid the store manager Kim came up to me I showed her the receipt so she called the other manager who took. My bag of items And told him to bring my stuff that I found the receipt… so then. Kim told me it was my fault about the situation because I should have left my bag with security when I entered the store… there was no security at the door when. I entered…I would like to. Know company procedure in loss prevention.
wait at customer service counter in humble, tx kroger, to solve cashier mistake
10/19/18 at the Humble, TX Kroger. The person at the cash register did not scan my Kroger card. I knew I had bought some items on special, as I realized upon reaching the parking lot. I went back and waited at the service desk for 37 minutes, with my ice cream melting, Costco purchases in my car getting warm. There was only one person there--I understand it was not her fault, but we asked the person attending the self-check-out area for a manager and he ignored us, we also asked a couple of employees that walked by...no manager showed up. After I was helped (37 minutes later), I asked Liz-the person in customer service--for a number to call my complaint in. At that point she called the manager, Brittany, who was very nice but and said nobody had call her until that point. I feel Liz should have called the manager when we complained, the self-check-out person should have called the manager when we asked him, the couple of employees who told us they were going to get somebody up there should have called the manager--but it looked like nobody cared.
kroger deli at kroger store on kercheval st.in grosse pointe, mi
The Kroger store deli on Kercheval in Grosse Pointe, MI has lately continually been slicing cheese and piling it is in the picture below.
If I wanted a slab of cheese (can't get the slices apart) I would not have the deli employees slice it!
I used to receive it sliced with a parchment like tissue paper between the layers. This is a lazy shortcut at the consumer's expense! PLEASE have them stop doing this! Thank you.
Also, I stood at the deli counter in the morning with 3 other customers last weekend while 5 (FIVE) employees behind the d liz counter ignored us. I finally left as did one of the other customers!
This Kroger deli used to be excellent and it's sad to have it decline!
the whole store
I bank at Fifth Third Bank. There is a branch located inside the Kroger near my house. Every time I go into that Kroger to visit my bank, I have to hurdle my way through a dozen carts full of clearance items that they have placed out in the middle of the floor. This is a fire hazard because if the building were to be evacuated, the bank employees and customers would have to fight through these carts to get out. By the time they get all the carts moved out of the way so that they could successfully escape, they would be burnt to a crisp. There has to be a better place than right there to put the sale items. It also blocks the bathrooms. Speaking of bathrooms: EVERY TIME I go into the bathroom at this location, there is NEVER any toilet paper. EVER! I think they ran out years ago and just never ordered more. There was one time I asked an employee if I could use the back bathroom. They let me back there and when I was finished, I went to exit and I was blocked in the bathroom because someone put a whole skip of milk crates RIGHT in front of the door. I had to yell out for help. Again, If the building were to have caught fire then, I would be dead because someone thought it was a good idea to place that THERE... I am so sick of fighting through all of these obstacles in the store just to go to my bank. I wont even get into why I wont shop at this location because I don't have all day to sit here and type about how awful your customer service is at this location or all of the spoiled products I've wasted money on and been refused a refund from the manager. This is a safety issue that needs to be addressed. I have pictures of the milk crates trapping me in the bathroom and pictures of the bank basically being blocked in by the dozen carts of sale items. If this issue is not addressed, I will call whoever I have to and report this.
clicklist
This review is mostly for the clicklist option. We use the Bedford location located on Harwood and Central. We used to use amazon fresh due to the convenience of it and recently switched to kroger clicklist to get the fuel points. So far our experience has not been worth the fuel points. Not once have we had an order come out completely correct. We have been given regular produce or meat and then charged for organic, received obviously rotten or moldy produce. Non gluten free items when ordered gluten free. Been told something was "out of stock" only to go inside and find the item ourselves after the groceries were loaded in the car! Also when ordered buy one get one free options we have either been charged for two and given two or did not receive the free item. We have been hoping for the service to improve due to the fact it is still relatively new, however don't think we will be continuing with this service until they "work out the kinks". I recently spoke with the manger named Jeremy who was very apologetic and seemed to genuinely care about our experience. He seemed to want to make our experience better and thought another clicklist manager named Julia would be able to better help. After several hours she never called as he said she would. When another staff member called to say our order was ready I asked if Julia was available. Julia called me back only to tell me the order was ready for pick up and she wasn't told she was to call back. She had no apologies for that or for the previous issues with our last order. I asked if she knew what the issues were and she replied she did. She offered no help. I fully expected her to at the very least apologize, not degrade her fellow manager who she said was "all over the place and couldn't keep track of him", and do nothing to make us want to stay as a customer. Also acted as if it was an inconvenience to her to have to call a customer back. Not nice on the phone as Jeremy was! I understand things happen but this is happening too often and I'd advise for people looking for a service to help with busy life to take their business elsewhere because this hasn't been worth the "convenience" yet as we had hoped!

KROGER
Your manager stole my wallet.
His name is Mr. Roland.
The same person once tried to stole the my daughter's wallet too.
All your managers know that. But Nobody help me. There's camera all over the store.
They made me wait to earn time.
Because they knew the camera records were erased in 60 days. They are protecting a thief.
I'll go to the police and the court.
customer service clerk
On March 26, 2018 at 9:00am, I decided to shop earlier to bypass crowds and waiting in long lines. Upon checking out, many self checkout machines weren't working properly. I asked one of the store cashier clerks if she's able to assist with getting the machines up and running to continue with check-out. I was told, go to customer service instead for help. When speaking to the clerk at customer service about food and supplemental merchandise I was replied to in a rude manner as if the clerk was having a bad day or if I was being mistakened for someone else. I decided to put items back and exchange for other items my card would cover. I was told Michigan EBT cards doesnt pay for certain items in grocery stores. I said okay, Thank you, may I have my item that EBT doesn't cover to choose a different item that it does in nutritional form instead of supplemental form. I needed the box to remember exactly what I had picked up. The clerk stated why? EBT doesn't cover your item ma'am and went on a rampage and lied while stating I threatened her at krogers in Warren, MI. I stated I didn't threaten you and asked for her name and ID# to report her. When police were called.. I decided to stay to speak with police officers and was over talked and taken to jail for disorderly conduct.. I was also told I was drunk and I DO NOT drink.. I figured everything was a joke and I was being punked because nothing wasn't making any sense. When speaking to the judge later on that day between 10:00am and 2:00pm she stated this is written incorrectly. Basically stating something isn't right with the situation being presented to her concerning me and what actually happen at krogers.. A Long story short someone who went to kroger's the previous day arrived at the same kroger's or somewhere nearby kroger's and the police tried to pin something the previous person subjected itself into doing off on me. I was mistakened for someone else that wasn't me.. I'm in the process to filesuit against those who've caused me a problems, racially profiling me to being someone else without doing an investigation and causing major distress. I was told by police not to purchase from that particular grocery store any more and not to go back there.. I thought that's fine I don't shop there anyway's however, you are not going to tell me where I'm going to go and where I'm not going to go... I always travel to nice places with nice, respectful employees not into some place or city who've tried to cause problems and try to damage me... I wasn't born nor raised around people of that hostile nature.. However, the grocery store itself didn't harm anyone the employees hired in uneducated have tried to cause life problems to many. So if you live in Warren, MI or thinking about travelling in parts of the city be safe the people here are brainwashed and some are trying to moveout to better places while they can. I've never had such nonsense in my life to take place at a grocety store. How kidish.. Kroger's around the world should start to fire many people and hire in better well-developed people..
Thank you,
Citizen In Michigan
fuel
I purchased gas from my local Kroger, unbeknownst to me, the gas was contaminated. It immediately made my car start to sputter and jerk. I purchased the fuel treatment and that didn't help either. My car is smoking & shaking very badly because of this gas. It's been advertised on the local news stations as well as Facebook that cars have broken down at this gas station and have been towed this evening due to this contaminated gas. I'm hoping this issue can be resolved.
racism
Dear kroger customer service,
Today at kroger in cruse road in Lawrenceville Georgia. A person insulted me inside kroger in front of my 5 years old and 6 months old son. He tries to remove my scarf over my head. And the security man did nothing. Instead of protecting me he said sorry to the racist man. I really had a bad situation in this kroger. This hurts my kids and my emotions. I am a loyal kroger customer. And I spend at least $200 every months and the situation unfortunately will stop me from shopping there anymore. The security are for protecting and provide good services to shoppers not humiliate them.
pharmacy
I went to my Kroger's tonight to go thru the pharmacy drive thru as I had just left the emergency room and needed to fill my prescription they had given me. When I up to the drive thru window their we three people just standing around, I know that they were going to close in 20 min no one there and they refused to fill them she said it would take 30 minuets and we close at 9pm. Well I was there before they closed I know it was close to closing but I'm not very happy with this situation and don't think I will ever go back to a Kroger Pharmacy! I hope this is addressed as I will share with friends and family on how unfair I felt this was...

pharmacy tech
Her name is Vickie and she is very rude inside the store and on phone! I have dealt with your store for years and have been going to your pharmacy for the same amount and never met someone as rude as her! She has a very bad deposition for her job description as a pharmacy tec! The manager needs to talk to her about better customer service! I will move everything if I have too!
Try talking to the corporate office or sending a letter.
produce
My complaint is that I went this morning to my local Kroger store at 3030 Headland Drive in Ga. I wanted simply to buy green beans and potatoes and frozen Kroger brand onions and onions with peppers recipe starters. The green beans needed to be thrown in the trash they were old and nasty the bags of potatoes were scarce. They had no frozen recipe starters in the ones I wanted. The peppers that were on sale were wrinkled and old. I don't see any improvements since they so called renovated the store. I drive 18 miles to Kroger in Austell Ga to do my shopping..that is ridiculous. I have complained to the floor manager on more than one occassion..it falls on deaf ears .The other day I brought a cabbage and had to throw it as it was rotton inside. Let us have the same quality as other Kroger stores..maybe its the management.
my complaint is my local Kroger does not have the same quality produce as other stores.
Not the same quality as other Kroger stores.
ralphs supermarket woodland hills calif
That store is destroying the entire otherwise very nice neighborhood by leaving their shopping carts all over the streets and sidewalks in front of people's homes, stores, etc... While they claim to have a service that picks these up, they never do pick them up. Ralph's is a blight on the neighborhood and should either clean up their act or get the hell out of here. They serve no purpose other than to make a mess here. Their employees are nothign but ignorant liers and are placed there by corporate to keep our mouths shut by asuring the neighbors throughout this area that they will pick up their littered shopping carts right away, and then never do. This must stop!
customer service/ not enough cashiers
I always shop at Kroger and normally I'm a happy customer. Today was absolutely ridiculous. I went through self check out which I hate because I think that it takes jobs away from people. The young lady that was helping me left me 3 times to go help other customers who needed assistance. What is the point? You are going to have aggravated, frustrated customers. Stop trying to save a buck by using machines. You can't replace people. I was very disappointed in my shopping experience today. The amount of people that were backed up could have been helped by an actual cashier and the flow would have kept moving. During this whole experience there was no manager to be seen anywhere. Not a good way to run a front end when it is busy...
the rude guy wouldn’t cash my check
I am so disappointed 😔 in Kroger on union lake road I drive 20 minuets to cash my check and I could not be more disappointed 😢 the stupid person wouldn't cash my check who dose that To a person I hope you get fired you jerk you ruined my night I had to drive all the way to Walmart In Novi you fat Stuipd person I have never had a problem there before tonight. How rude they were. I had my diver lessons with me it is not like I am a theft it was me cashing it you stupidly people how dare you make me feel like a crmainal you all a bunch of [censored]ers
no customer service at all!
I get to the check out and realize an egg is broken in the carton. The cashier asks if I "want to run back and get another carton". Really?! Is that customer service? I don't think so! Hope H.E.B. gets to North Texas soon! Kroger has no idea what customer service is! They are the Walmart of grocery stores! They have thrown customer service out the door! They want you to scan your own groceries, check yourself out, or call in an order so that they don't have to assist you but their prices have not gone down even though they employ less people! What a joke! I pray that we can have another grocery store in Allen to compete with this monopoly!
In my personal opinion I think that Kroger is hiring too many young people. BUT here is the thing you have the ones who value their job and then you have the ones who truly don't care. Also it seems as if the cashier just asked a simple question.
