Kroger manager

I want to start off by saying this is the first for me; however I feel this cannot go without addressing. I am a constant shopper of Kroger, both my kids worked for Kroger and Kroger treated them very well. I was in Kroger Sunday as I do every Sunday doing my regular shopping. I go to the same Kroger for 25 years the Kroger in Kanawha City Charleston WV. It has feel well below the standards of the other Kroger both in customer service and having items stocked. Anyways Sunday I was in the produce and it had looked ransacked they had nothing as far as produce. I weighed my options as far as what I could by for the week compared to what they had and was very limited. I thought maybe go ahead and do rest of shopping and come back to produce when done; however another lady stated that she went to the desk to get a associate in the produce. We waited for about 10 minutes to gather as a lot of customers stated they hated this store and would prefer going anywhere but here. No associate arrived, I went to the floral department to ask for manager the associate stated would get one. So as we stood in the produce a manager walked by we assumed he was coming to see us but he flatly stated that he seen us looking around like we needed help. The other lady ask about the area. He stated that if we gave them 10 to 15 minutes would have stocked they had a lot of call outs for the day, then ask what we needed she said cabbage that was all she came for and I stated 2 cucumbers if you have. I decided to go ahead and do the rest of my shopping cause it a appeared he went in the back of the store. The meat department was bare no chicken, no ribs nothing so I thought well I might as well go somewhere else this is a waist. But my husband likes a certain bread Kroger has so I went to get that at least, while in the that isle that particular manager shows up with several boxes of produce in carrier. He said got your cucumbers I said thank you, you really didn't have to do that and he said to me so matter a fact "yea the world would have stopped if you didn't have those cucumbers" I looked around me and seen many other customers looking and was very embarrassed I said to him "that was so rude, no one should say something like that" but it did not change him he turned around and left. I decided this had turned into something unbelievable and left to shop at Walmart where I believe now for the 1st time in all my years will be where I shop. I seen the other lady in the parking lot and she stated that he brought her the cabbage and was equally rude to her. I believe that if you care about your stores you should know the kind of managers you have working in them the clerks the stockers and baggers has always been the most friendly and the reason I would go, but the manager that day really needs to know if it wasn't for the women needing cucumbers and cabbage there would be no Kroger.

Kroger check out service, the lack of!

I could write a very long complaint on the lack of customer service my husband and I received at the mount gilead kroger with the cashier jessica, which was the exact same treatment the couple ahead of us received. But to make it short and to the point, no customer should have to be concerned about their groceries getting mixed up with the customers before them, nor after. Nor should the cashier start to ring up another customers groceries especially while the previous customers are still bagging their own groceries with no help from any kroger employee! We also should not have to race against that cashier trying to get stuff out of the way of other groceries that would have been smashed from her just piling it down for us to bag after ringing it up! It would have been nice if she had at least helped us bag our $196.44 worth of groceries and got us out of the way for the next customer to begin bagging their own. This is pretty pathetic! It was 8:18 pm

Kroger the magazine choice.

I just came from my local store, and I was surprised when I could not find any gun magazines on the rack. I felt uneasy as I drove home, hoping that Kroger had not caved to media, and anti gun pressure. This evening, I found out on the web that you did! Shame on you for that!, Not only does that show poor choice, and judgement, it also shows weakness. I have always talked Kroger's up for their strong stand on pro firearm rights, and was happy to shop there. But now I am going to look for a different place to shop. You guys really disappoint me with this choice, and I as well as others may very well go somewhere else, and this is sad.

Kroger religious discrimination, lack of product knowledge and location, disrespect

Shopping in our Kroger store on 350 Six Forks Road in Raleigh, N. C. for Kosher and Passover groceries, today, Saturday, 3/17/18, we were SHOCKED to be told that this store had no such items due to the fact that they "just didn't get into the holiday spirit this year and he didn't even know what 'Kosher' meant." After I explained to this young Customer Service Associate that it wasn't a "holiday spirit" but a "religious" way of life like Christianity, Catholicism, Judaism, etc., he just said "it wasn't his problem." Prior to approaching this counter, I approached 6 different store employees who were stocking shelves or in the aisles helping other customers and they each had a different location for Kosher and Passover items that didn't exist. When I returned home with my perishable groceries, I called this store and spoke to the MOD who said they DID have Kosher items on an aisle we searched 3 times where none existed and proceeded to apologize for not having put the Passover items on an end cap as yet - 1 week away from an 8 day religious holiday.
To say this is absurd is an understatement. To be perfectly honest, it is discrimination at its highest form. There is no excuse or apology to the Jewish community in this area that will make up for the lack of education and respect that these employees show to your customers and I will no longer be a part of such an insensitive atmosphere.
The Raleigh Jewish community will be informed of your insensitivity and lack of respect to a major holiday and dietary needs of the community that are not being served.

Kroger floral department

Last night on 3/16/18 around 9:30pm I went to this particular Kroger location and received unexceptable costumer service. I went to the floral department, and inquired about a Lily plant I was interested in purchasing. When I asked several employees exactly what type of Lily plant it was (Asiatic, Tiger, Peace Lily, etc) No one could tell me. I asked to speak with the manager (Hispanic guy named Will) Neither could he tell me nor could he point me in the right direction. Because of this I didn't purchase the plant. I am very displeased with the customer service I received from this location.

Kroger customer service

Out side of the Kroger Store on Midlothian, Richmond, VA there is a mailbox that says US MAIL. I placed 3 bills to mail inside of this box several weeks ago. The checks have not been cashed. I called the Kroger store and spoke to a manager who explained that was an inbox for the store. I asked her to check and see if my bills were there. She said her assistant had the key and when she got it she would check. I left my phone number and asked her to call me. She never did the checks still have not been received and I can't afford to cancel and rewrite the checks and if they are received in the future, I don't have the money to cover double payment. I need to know what happened to these checks. If it is an incoming mailbox they must be at the store. I can't seem to find out. I would hope that employees there are not careless to overlook this. Please see if you can take some action to locate my checks. I really need your help.

Thank you,

Carol Mahaffey

Kroger returns without receipt

I went into the Kroger store today in Corinth Ms to return a jar of instant coffee.. since I didn't have the receipt for it, I wasn't expecting my money back, all I was wanting to do was either exchange it or get a gift card for it.. the price of the coffee was only $2.89 without tax, so it wasn't like I was returning something expensive.. but I am a regular customer of Kroger, I shop in the local Kroger store at least 3 or 4 times a week.. there is one Manager that always gives me and my fiancee trouble.. his name is Mr. Mitchell, because of him, u have lost customer's, regular customers at that, and u lost 2 more today... He is always a smart [censor] to me and my fiancee, even if we're in there shopping... U will never have to worry about me or my fiancee GOING back to shop at your store again, I will go to Walmart first... So just thank that manager for your customers changing store's... He has always gave us a problem...

Kroger stocking anything for has to do with assault rifles

What an assault rifle is, there has not been an assault rifles sold in the United States in 40 years. You people are being very stupid and I cannot shop in your store anymore until you change your attitude about everything. You do know guns don't kill people, any gun sitting on a table will not blow anybody's butt away. what you need to do is get intelligent and do the right thing for all people which is stock all the magazines people want and quit being libtard.

Kroger kroger brand plain english muffins.

Best if used by Mar 07, HO [protected] K01
These and the last muffins I purchased like them on a different week are horrible. I've always purchased Kroger brand but on the last two packages, the bread was doughy in the center. Even after toasting the bread in the toaster, it was doughy. The dough sticks to your fingers like glue when tearing apart. We have thrown away both and are apprehensive about trying this brand again. I'm not sure what you are doing differently, but it needs to go back to the old way. These were purchased at the South Hills Kroger on Fledderjohn Road in Charleston WV. I have not contacted the store, as I didn't feel that would make a difference.

"I have not contacted the store, as I didn't feel that would make a difference." Are you serious? You'd be offered a full refund for your item. You don't know what they're doing differently? They were likely not baked long enough or hot enough during their manufacturing process. Problems like that can happen from time to time and not necessarily all errors can be caught. Even if it's from 2 different packages that are a week apart, they're likely both produced from the same facility that could be having a repeating issue with their oven. Life isn't perfect for anyone. We all receive our form of faulty items at some points. Next time, go back to the store with your muffins and receipt.

Kroger pharmacy

I'm an insulin dependent diabetic and on occasion I run out of insulin syringes and my pharmacy closes at 5:30pm on weekdays and closed on weekends so, in emergency situations my husband will try to purchase a pack for me and every time he tries the pharmacists are rude to him and attempt to refuse service to him and I am not always able to go up there myself. This is absolutely ridiculous and really angers me because my life depends on these supplies.

Kroger security guards

Kroger security guards at your Union store sit on their butts and phones and I have never seen them walk in the parking lot. No wonder people are robbed in on your lots. The store on Cleveland has guards that actually walk outside in the lot. The last 4 visits I have noticed your security guards at your Memphis location on Union are sitting in the location where the shopping carts are. They are on their cell phone, iPad or talking to each other. When I called to complain, all the person could say was alright 3 times. I have watched your lot congested while people stop for 5 minutes to unload their groceries in front of store while your so called security guards are sitting there and will not even walk 10 feet to correct a problem. 3 nights ago there were 3 people following single women outside very aggressively asking for money. Security guards sat on their butts and had their backs to the lot. One on their cell phone while it was plugged in and charging. I guess your company does not fear customers being robbed or assaulted while your security does such a poor job? Don't u have cameras to watch areas?

Kroger self checkout/ manager

We just left krogers, 1030pm on a saturday night, and the "manager" was unacceptable in my opinion. We bought over $100 worth of groceries, had to use self checks out because no lines had a light on. Yet we waited over 5min for someone to come over to help us since the screen said to wait for "an attendent". The attendant was putting customers through a line with no light so first of all, if we knew it was open, we would've went down it. However, we went to self checkout and when we finally got the "manager" she said, we don't have to serve you when acting like this. She was implying that we were complaining for waiting over 5min when she was doing nothing to help us. Another worker had to go and get her and that other young worker was spraying air fresher throughout the store as it smelled like crap. Shouldn't a manager be on the floor helping!? This was the sidney, oh around 1030pm on 3/10/18 btw and their service was poor at best. She had no reason to get an attitude for actually getting up and doing her job. Quite frankly I was in a good mood and said nothing. However, normally I would've told her where to go and left my groceries for her to put away with the unporfessuonalism she showed us. We definitely will not be back!

Kroger checkout

I drove a half an hour in order to shop at kroger today, i went specifically today due to several sales that were only valid today with the digital coupons. As soon as i get to check out the stores system crashed an no one was able to check out. I decided to wait after hearing a employee announce it would be only a matter of minutes till the problem was fixed. Well i waited and waited as the lines continued to grow trying to be patient. After waiting over a hour and a half i couldn't stand the pain from having to stand any longer and left. I wasted my time and money traveling to shop. And left with a dissapointed little boy who wanted the items he had been allowed to pick out. I had mainly went for the five boxes of cereal i would have been able to purchase for him at. 99 cents and the kool aide jammers, and the free kroger chips with coupon but i had other items to purchase as well. I really feel the hundreds of customers affected should still at least be offered todays specials they missed out on due to your system going down and apparently no back up plan for when this happens. I would like to add that the cashier was very apologetic.

Kroger poor customer service @ the pharmacy

I have been to the Kroger Pharmacy in my area 3 months in a row. Each time I have visited the Drive-Thru was closed. On 3/6/18 @ approximately 730p I went to the pharmacy to pick up my medication. The Drive-Thru was closed, a sign stating they were short staffed. When I got inside there were more than 5 employees standing behind the counter and a pharmacist. I have tried contacting the store and the someone at the Customer Service Call Center to share my experience with them. I am unable to walk very well due to an illness I have, hence the medication I needed from the pharmacy. The employee that "served" me certainly did not care that I really needed to use that Drive-Thru. His mannerism, tone, and words told me I was an inconvenience. How is it that this pharmacy can deny the needs of their disabled clients, have employees treat them horribly and get away with it?

Kroger rude cashier at self checkout

03/07/2018 @10:30
I was told by self check out cashier that i was not able to purchase but 5 items of the same item due to limited quanties in the store. Cashier advised she will speak with customer service whom indeed advise to only purchase 5. I remain cool but however, if the merchandise is on the shelf, their should be a sign where the item is stating 5 is the limit. I will not be shopping at any Kroger again in any city. This is unprofessional due to the fact it's POOR MANAGEMENT. Place a sign letting customers know that you can't get but so many instead of coming to a register with an amount you think you can purchase.

Her answer I don't know and she did nothing.

What a disappointment! You really call this customer friendly!

Kroger unethical behavior/charging customers for items not purchased

March 7, 2018
I was a shopper at your Kroger (2685 Metropolitan Parkway) where I purchased food and toiletries. Upon arriving to register I presented my coupons to the cashier (Ashley) after scanning items she went to get front end manager on duty to approved (Tissue) coupons and (Welch's fruit snack) coupons. Assuming (Jazmine) was acting front end manager at the time, she informed me that she couldn't take my coupons (printed in color) because they all had the same UPC Code. I then informed her that they all were printed from 5 different computers and some companies like (Georgia-Pacific) often use the same codes then she looked at the coupons of the Welch's and gave me the same reason on why she couldn't take them which I then showed her she was incorrect so she took those 2 coupons. I didn't make a fuss about her not taking the coupons, I told her to remove them and I will purchase my other belongings, after purchasing items I left the store to return noticing that even though she was asked to remove them she still charged me for the tissue. I went back in the store to let her know what took place and then she had an attitude about it told me that the tissue was only 2.57 which is was 4.99 and I purchased 5 (that I didn't get) she then went into the register and gave me ($28.57 refund).
I spoke with the manager Frank Bailey who seemed not to care and what took place with her and her attitude so then left and went to purchase the items at my Peachtree City Kroger in my home area with no problem and I then did the calculations to notice that the young lady (Jazmine) gave me to incorrect change, she should have giving me ($21.53). I would like for someone to contact me regarding.
-Your coupon policy
-Resolution for complain made
-Will it be possible for me to receive my product
-Returning correct amount of change to store (I'm pretty sure the young lady who drawer it was, was short at the end of the night.)

Kroger pharmacy

On 2 separate occasions I have dropped off prescriptions that needed to be filled so that the medicine could be taken. Both times I was asked to come back to pick them up. Upon returning for them I was informed that it could not be filled without authorization from my insurance. When I asked them both times if I could just fill them and pay for them myself, they replied yes and did so. But again had to return to pick them up. Why couldn't the pharmacy just have called me to inform me and ask what they wanted to be done? I spent extra time going back and forth waiting on these. I think it's rude and disrespectful of the pharmacy to not have at least called me.
