disrespectful and rude employee
I visited the Kroger gas station last night at
4915 Dixie Hwy
Louisville, Kentucky 40216
Kathleen (the cashier/attendant) was very rude for no reason. I asked her for a pack of Newport (without being carded). I had a coupon for $1 off the cigarettes. I paid for that, then told her I needed $35 on pump 1, which was my friends money. She got a nasty attitude with me and said, "You could have told me it was 2 transactions". I didn't know that mattered. I apologized but she was still huffing and puffing. I asked her what her name was because of her attitude. She said, "Catherine".
So I go back up to get the receipt because I do the survey weekly and it would give me the details (date, time, cashier, etc) The receipt was a duplicate so it didn't have the survey where I could have informed her superiors about her inappropriate behavior.
I saw on the receipt immediately her name is Kathleen.
As I waited in the line behind 4 men, she was flirting, joking around with them and in no rush. She had treated me like I was holding the line up. Anyway I just wanted the right person tp know how she treats others. Thanks for listening,
Carey McLaughlin
raincheck for gain pods
I was written a raincheck for Gain pods during your last mega sale, I came into the store at Dixie Hwy in Louisville, Ky several times trying to fill it . I kept being told to come back and they'd honor the raincheck for 24 bags as soon as it was stocked . A second time I was told by a manager that they would order it and to come back in a few days . I returned 3 days later and informed the manager I was there to get the pods, I proceeded to go to the pod isle to see what was on the shelf and there were 16. I informed the manager that I needed 8 to complete my order. He insisted they didnt have more ( he never got anyone to look ) so I asked will they write me another raincheck for the 8 and he said yes and told me to go check out, He took my raincheck to customer service as I was checking out to get another for the remaining 8. Once I grabbed my receipt and awaited his return he told me since I checked out for the 16 they wouldnt be able to write me another for the remaining 8. Had I known that I would have waited to get all 24 but I was mislead. He was very rude and I guess annoyed that I had the raincheck . The whole thing was unfair because I'm being penalized because you all are constantly out of product . I'd really like to get my other 8 bags of Gain pods at 3.99 .
fuel points
I was traveling in California in San Jose I went out of my way to go to a quik shop owned by you. I have over 4, 000 points to use and wanted to use 1000 there. Their system was not set up for redeeming fuel points so I paid full price and left.
I bought 15.37 gal so I believe you owe me at least $15.37 for my trouble.

pharmacy
Everytime I go to the pharmacy at 7132 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, OH I have nothing but problems. First, I have a medication that was pre-authorized by my insurance in November 2016 for the duration of 12 months and every month since then with the exception of 1 month is met with difficulty and the techs telling me it has to be pre-authorized. I tell them to read the notes that the pharmacist has to do something to get it to go through and when they read the note and then get the pharmacist to get it pushed through which usually results in 2 to 4 days delay in getting the antidepressant.
The wait time is ridiculous and I never go that I don't have to wait 20-45 minutes to get my meds.
I went to the pharmacy today and dropped off a prescription and advised the tech that I did not want the steroids that my doctor had sent because I am having surgery in 4 weeks and cannot take steroids. I sent my son to pick up the pain med that I had dropped off and when he returned home the steroids were also filled.
On another occasion, I was shorted a box of insulin and had to call and tell them they didn't give me enough.
I have given this pharmacy multiple chances with nothing improving. I am to the point that I would drive a little further to Walgreens.
chicken ordered on saturday for sunday night pick up and there was no chicken available.
This Kroger store is located at 2284 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN. I went to the store on Saturday September 30, 2017 at approximately 10:00 am. and placed an order for (40) piece chicken to be picked up the next day Sunday at 9:00 pm. I was taking dinner to my 3rd. shift employees on Sunday night. On Sunday I get a call from someone in the deli/Kroger confirming my order and what time I will be there to pick it up. I also called around 1:00 pm. to let them know I would like the chicken to be freshly cooked for picking up by 9:00 pm. She said it would be. I arrived at 8:50 pm, no one was in the deli, I had to ask a stock person if she could call someone back there, she did and then I find out there was no chicken there for me. I asked to speak to the manager, she said there was nothing she could do. I will not shop at another Kroger Store, I will also urge everyone I know to not shop there.
No one wants to take responsibility for anything. If you get a company paycheck then you represent that company and, "I didn't do it" is no excuse.
Why do you not show the company response to the complaints? ? ?
gasoline
I went to the gas station last night. Used my 1 dollar off promo, and the pump only let me have 6 cents of gas. I thought the gas pump was odd. I moved it around. I worked with it. I looked around. I checked my bank account. I have more than enough money to get gasoline. It went strong in the start but the pump went limp and wouldn't let me put more in. No matter how many times I tried.
deli, cashiers, store
Everytime I go to the deli, it is always one person working. After the line gets long enough one more person might come. They have on person making sandwiches and chicken and taking lunchmeat orders so it they line is always extra long. They need more help. I can understand if this happens at times but Every time is unacceptable. It's always on 2 registers open with long lines. At least between the hours of 1 pm-4 pm. Today the u-scan line was extra long and only a few if the registers was actually functioning properly. Scales were broken and the other one couldn't take cash or coins. The employee kept moving customers to other registers to finish up their order. The ones that wasn't taking cash or coins she would have you pay at her register. I'm new to this area. I'm originally from where the Kroger company resides. Never experienced this at any Kroger in my hometown. This Kroger makes the company look bad. They need to hire more people and fix their registers. Plus make sure their shelves is stocked at all times. I'm never satisfied when I leave this Kroger. I will not be back until I hear about improvement. I will try other Kroger after I find where they are. I love Kroger and I thought, I will have a part of my hometown here with me. Not from this particular store.
pricing on cholula hot sauce
I don't do much comparison shopping. 99% of groceries purchased at Kroger. I was in Meijer store Wilmington Pike for a non food item and happen to see hot sauce 12 oz bottle for 5.99. At Kroger I buy smaller bottle since no savings. I purchase Cholula at Meijers since I knew that Kroger price for same was more expensive. Upon checking at taking a photo, the same 12 oz bottle at Kroger is $7.89. What's going on folks. That is almost a $2.00 difference. Should I take my most frequently purchased items and check pricing at Meijer. I shop at Fairfield Kroger
Let me know what to do.
employees on the front end talking about another employee losing her full time.
To whom it may concern I was shopping monday at the kroger store 661 standing in line the Customer serivce managment name edith was up front telling two other employees that a young lady erica lost her full time and to me that is wrong talking about someone not giving a care in the world . So while standing there the cashier toni while yelling at another cashier Theresa yelling the same thing erica lost her full time as a customer that is not right and unprofessional . I said to myself this is wrong spreading this young lady busy.
deceptive marketing
Cheat me once, could be human error; cheat me twice, arouse my mistrust; cheat me thrice and you've lost me as a customer. My local Smith's (Pacheco Street in Santa Fe, NM) sold my husband a piece of beef weighing 3lbs, 2oz . It was packaged so that only the red meat showed and the fat was completely hidden underneath - after I removed the fat (a pain to say the least), the resulting weight of the chuck roast was slightly under 2 lbs. Strike 1. I bought some pork chops the following week -- once again deceptively packaged to hide too much fat. Strike 2. Last night (9/24/2017), a bag of frozen shrimp was on sale for $15.98 and when I got home and looked at my receipt, I had been charged $17.98 for the item. Strike 3! This had happened to me twice before and I had caught the overcharge at the register, but this time I was distracted and didn't spot it on the screen. I thought you should know, just in case these practices are your corporate policy. My receipt is barely legible and there is no point in my going back to your store for a refund. We are done, Smith's and I. Back in the 1980s I worked at Macy's in Cosmetics, where we were taught that if you lost one customer who spent only $5 a week and she told all her friends, you were looking at a minimum loss of $2, 600 a year; further, if she had a lot of friends, you could expect to lose as much as $20, 000 a year. Well, my food budget is $400 a month and I am not giving any of it to your stores anymore. Goodbye!
clicklist did not provide items I ordered/would not honor request for providing them
I placed an order using Clicklist (about 2 weeks ago) and I was charged for two items that were not in my bags when I got home. I called and was assured that I would be given these items on my next order at no charge, as well as a $10.00 fee for my inconvenience. I thanked the manager for that, and followed her instructions explicitly on my next order which I placed today (Sept. 24). When I came to pick that up, I was informed that they could not honor those instructions and my only recourse was to request those items again on my next order because there was no manager on duty (this was at an extremely busy time in the Clicklist area). I find it hard to believe that a store does not have ANYONE on staff who can solve a customer service issue at one of their busiest times of the week. I would like a refund for the items that were not provided to me since there is not going to be another Clicklist order, if this is how Kroger chooses to do business.
fresh selections italian style blend lettuce
9/23/2017 I bought a bag of your 10 oz. lettuce at Ralph's food store 2 days ago at Channel Islands, Port Hueneme, CA. A lot of the lettuce was the core pieces that you can't eat. I had to throw away a lot of the lettuce because it was not edible. I am very angry! I paid $4.50 for the bag of lettuce. I would like a refund.

employee and management
I am a Produce employee at store #75. I actually just put in my 2 weeks because lately I got a bad reputation by a couple people and I felt like I had a target on my back. But there are plenty of past reasons That justify me quitting. I've been harassed and sworn at in my department, also once was told by a co worker in my department named Steve that "he wanted to choke me to death" and he said that right to my face. I have a lot of medical situations going on right now and it's been hard and stressful. Lately I've peed out blood and it takes me longer to go to the bathroom because it's really painful and it takes me a while to be able to get it all out. And last week I went to the bathroom and I got called back to Produce cuz it was taking me a while. And the Produce Manager, Jimmy said "where have you been? I haven't been able to find you." And then I told him I was in the bathroom and he said it was taking a long time but then I told him my peeing situation is still going on and he understood and was fine with it because he was aware of my situation. But other management doesn't know or care. Many things that led to this bad reputation, for example, Candace (one of the store managers) seen me on my cell phone and began to yell at me and she even gave me a "strike", before I could even tell her that I was on my break. She took it back after I explained but still somehow made it where she would have her "eye on me" even though I did nothing wrong to begin with. A couple unfortunate situations like this led to me getting a bad rep and me feeling like I had a target on my back. There is other employees at the store that can vouch for that too. The last straw that I had before I put my 2 weeks in happened last week. I am going through a lot of medical issues unfortunately right now, and it's been very hard. My doctor texted me and he needed a a close up picture of sores that just started to come on my body. However that spot happened to be located on my genitals. So I said okay and I nervously walked out of the store into my car where I could take the picture for the doctor and immediately went back in to work. The whole thing took no more then 5 minutes. And when I got back in Scott and Candace (store managers) were in produce (probably because I was called down when I was peeing that one time and they assume the worst in me and I have a bad rep so their "checking on me"). And they yelled at me and asked where I was. And they flat out lied and said I was outside for "15 to 20 minutes". After I explained what was going on they didn't believe me and basically called me a liar right to my face. They took me into the office and threatened to fire me even though I told them that this is a serious thing that I had to take care of. But they humiliated me and I did not like the fact that I had to explain my embarrassing medical situation and my genitalia to them for them to mock me for it and call me a liar and act like it wasn't a big deal and begin to threaten to fire me anyways. It's not like I wanted to send that kind of a photo to my doctor but it was an emergency. After I begged them and they let me keep my job, I realized that I was a person that deserved respect and didn't deserve to always have everyone out to get me like I had a target on my back. And this situation would only make it 10 times worse. So I contacted my department manager and gave him my 2 week notice. I've put up with 2 store managers, and 3 department managers (all of which liked me) but lately the level of management and some employees especially has gone way downhill and I think anyone can tell you that. #75 is having a hard time keeping employees right now because of it. I feel bad for my department manager because he now has to hire another person to a position he's been unable to fill for quite sometime. I've been harassed and sworn at in my own department by fellow co workers. I work hard and always get my stuff done and many employees have grown to like me over the 1 1/2 years I've worked there. But I've been targeted, harassed, and humiliated for the last time and honestly it's just not worth it to deal with it for this job when I have all the stress and other situations I have going on in my life right now. I will be happier finding a new job where people are professionals and I can have a clean reputation and not have people assume the worst out of me. I have also attached a screenshot of a snapchat that I got from a fellow co worker that shows how I am treated by other employees. That specific snapchat was from Kevin in the produce department who is possibly transferring to freight to be a Manager.

breaks and lunches and working off clock
My fiancé works in Starbucks and because Kroger won't hire the people she needs she has to work through her breaks and today September 23 2017 was the second time in a year that she has had to work through lunch because she doesn't have the help she needs I am also sending a complaint to Starbucks corporate office about this matter because all other complaints in store go no where
disrespect and rudeness
I was shopping in Kroger 966 Hilliard, Ohio the other day when I asked for help finding a product. When I approached the manager I asked if he had any Kroger brand spring water in the gallon. He said he wasn't sure but would have to check in the back. I knew he was very busy but after coming from the backroom about 10 seconds later I knew he hadn't took the time to look nor did he even check the shelf because I could've missed it being my vision wasn't the greatest. He came out and said they might have some but couldn't get to it at the moment so I told him I would wait while he found some. At that point he got a bit aggitated and said he didn't have time to dig it out so I asked for another manager and he exploded on me and told me to go accross the damn street if I needed water that badly. I think he was offended by me asking for another manager and he must've been having a bad day because I refused to leave until he had someone get the product I needed. When I refused to leave he told me goodluck but he didn't have time to look for water and had more important things to do at the moment and bumped into me and walked away.
The Manager's name was Keith. Young guy in his early 30s maybe with thin beard, very rude and disrespectful. Will never shop there again!
kroger brand strawberry & cream oatmeal
I'm sending this out as a warning. If anyone has purchased Kroger Brand Oatmeal please 🚫BEWARE! 🚫 I made a package of they're Strawberry and cream this morning and I got 3 bites into it. I went to bite down and I felt/heard a hard crunch. I automatically stopped chewing and ran to spit it out. Behold! A piece of glass! 😖 I was gagging trying to spit the remaining out of my mouth trying to make sure I didn't swallow any glass. Just to think I tried giving my youngest son the oatmeal first.. So I wanted to send the message out. I called the number on the box to tell them what has happened.. My box might not be the only box that might have the glass in. I've been buying Kroger Band oatmeal because we love it. But after this.. I'm not buy no more of they're boxes.. Also Fyi I microwaved it in a plastic bowl. I tried loading the pictures I took but it won't let me.
kroger granola cereal
The Kroger Brand Granola Cereal was the best. I always bought 4 to 6 boxes at a time to eat with my Kroger Lite Peach Yogurt. However, when I went last week to buy my cereal, I noticed the box had changed but no big deal until I went to eat it. It is in big clumps, too hard to break and the taste is horrible. The only reason I can think of for you to change something great to a much lesser product is cost. What you saved by changing the product may be lost when customers refuse to buy the product. You can bet I will not be buying anymore.
Ditto. Great, affordable cereal now pretty lame! No thanks!
I'm so upset that you changed the recipe for your granola cereal. It takes absolutely terrible and I bought 3 boxes! Please please please go back to the old recipe! I'm so irritated! :-(
Yuk! More carbs, more sugar, and a 30 cent price increase. I loved the old stuff; ate it nearly every morning. The recipe change was a huge mistake and just tastes nasty.
I'll be searching for a new brand when I finish this box.

RX # 6323800 was dispensed even though I have it listed as a medication that causes an adverse reaction. when brought to the attention of the Pharmacist, she failed to call me prior to filling the medication, even though I had told the staff I needed a certain Brand of the medication dispensed, refused to acknowledge the adverse reaction, help me get the correct medication, or any remedy at all. I have been without the medication 5 days now and have been to the pharmacy Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week and on the phone with the insurance company and the doctors office Thursday and today trying to get this remedied without success all due to the pharmacist treating me like "just a barcode" and not picking up the phone and calling me when there was a discrepancy in filling my medication. I can not fill the medication for 3 months on my insurance since the Pharmacy filled it with a medication that I have an adverse reaction to and the Pharmacy refused to take it back even though it was a contraceptive that had not been opened or tampered with. I could understand if it was dispensed into another bottle but it is in the manufactures packaging and this Pharmacist should have called prior to filling this prescription especially since there was refills of this medication on my profile that I had no used and I was not getting the filled.

pricing on kroger eggs & milk
In recent weeks I have shopped three different Kroger stores that are near to me, one in Beavercreek, Oh, Fairborn, Oh, and Riverside Spinning road.
At Beavercreek and Fairborn the price of milk a gallon was .99 cents a gallon
and eggs .69 cents for a package of 18 eggs. The Spinning Rd. store which is a smaller store had the milk "on sale" for 1.99 and the eggs at regular price, not anywhere close to .69. I asked the clerk s on two different occasions why the
price would be higher than the neighboring Kroger stores. The first person was clueless and the second more helpful. She indicated that she had noticed lower pricing at her own local store vs the one she worked at. She was helpful
and asked the manager to match the price at the Beavercreek store.
I called today customer service for Kroger and the agent was helpful but did not know why pricing would be different. Per his supervisor it was probably because the Kroger stores involved were in different districts /regions /size. Since the smaller stores did not do the same volume they did not offer the same prices. Is this true? Is this on all products? Will I have to shop the larger Kroger stores to get the lower prices? Will I have do comparison shopping to determine which Kroger store has the lower prices? I also shop at the Kroger store in Kettering, do they have the lower pricing there?
This does not seem like an ethical business practice. You are taking advantage of the loyal customers you have at your smaller stores. I can understand different pricing when stores are in different cities or states but
not when they are just a few miles of each other?
