deli associate with horrible attitude
Good afternoon I’m writing about my experience at Kroger I came to the deli to get a cake decorated a couple days ago and the associate that was assisting me was very rude and had a loud smell of marijuana in her clothes and her eyes were blood shot red. He name on her I’d said Felicia and this was at the Kroger on forest drive. I personally think she should be drugged tested because that was unacceptable. I’m a loyal customer and I come in there at least twice a week and I never been treated so poorly. I will not be returning to this location!
simple truth low cow lite ice cream
I purchased one of your pints during the week of 10/9/17, and I was extremely disappointed to open the pint and find the product was freezer burnt, and had shrunk so that there is a ton of space inside the pint. I decided to give this product one more chance and just bought another one 10/18/17. I opened the product to find the exact same issue! These pints cost $4 a pop. I am so upset that I spent this relatively large amount of money (per pint!) on products that I had to throw away. I would like to request a refund for my purchases. My kroger number is: [protected]
open carry guns in store
I was at the Smiths in Henderson at Mountain Vista & Sunset (Las Vegas) at 3:00 this afternoon. There was some older guy packing a gun in front of me shopping. I know that Nevada is an open carry State but there are many local stores that will not allow guns to be brought into the store regardless. We just had a mass shooting in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago. The shooter at Mandalay had a license to buy any guns he wanted and used them. How did I know that this person carrying a gun on his hip into your store (he was an older person- I am 71 and don't carry any weapons into your stores) was not another crazy. I will never shop at a Smiths again because you allow this type of insanity and I have been a regular customer at Smiths for about 40 years or more. I guess this wont make any difference but I wont ever go back to a Smiths again. I am concerned with any company that allows this to happen (including MGM who owns Mandalay). Where is your corporate sensitivity? In your pocketbook I suppose.
Many, many stores allow for open carry of guns. If a store doesn't allow for them, there is often a big uproar. It is just the nature of the USA.
damage to my car
On Sunday 09/23/17 we were leaving the Kroger Union Marketplace when a Kroger employee who was gathering carts from the corral let go of two of them and they rolled down the hill and hit the driver side of of my car causing dents and small scratches. My husband and I talked to the employee and he went into the store and two managers came out and looked at the damage. One of the managers was named Alex. Alex took our information and told us the insurance company would contact us in 48 hours. We heard from no one. The following Sunday we went back to the store and talked to a manager named Kathy. She said the same thing. The following week someone who said he was from the insurance company called my cell phone. He was very rude. He took all the information and finally said that he would have to look at video to determine if the Kroger employee had actually caused the damage. That was two weeks ago and I have not heard from him. I think if you look at my Kroger card you will see that I have been a customer for many years. If I do not hear from someone soon, my only choice would be to contact an attorney. My cell number is [protected]. My email address is [protected]@gmail.com.
All I want is for my car to be repaired and a rental while that is happening.
chicken
Tonight (10/17/2018), I purchased a package of chicken thighs from kroger at 465 stateline rd southaven ms. Got ready to prepare to cook and the meat was spoiled. I took them back to the store immediately (9:05 p. M.) to only be told by a woman (no name tag) working in uscan that customer service was closed and I would have to return the meat in the morning. I asked for a manager and she said no manager was on duty. I immediately called someone I know that is a manager at kroger and she said a manager is supposed to be there and to ask for the grocery manager. I did and she told where to go. I spoke with the person in the meat dept and was told to get a package of chicken. I left the spoiled meat on the counter in customer service and i'm quite sure it's still there. This makes the third time i've purchased bad meat from this store on two other occasions. I was told that i'm supposed to get my money back and the product which I did not. This store is never stocked in the dairy dept. Always have to ask someone to get orange juice or milk. I never see a manager but I will return to the store tomorrow to make a complaint with the store manager, if someone is in. This store is horrible and not efficiently operated.
capris suns
Hello I went to 3 different kroger's to get the 99 cent juices however they where all out and wasn't offering anything similar kroger is aware of the coupon so I don't understand why these stores are not ordering enough of product this always happens with the saturday sale I was also told no rain check on the saturday sale i'm really upset with kroger I shop there on a regular basis but yesterday I was not happy with the service received
cashier
On saturday 9:30pm I went to check out at the u scan. The cashier on duty (maurice) had accused me of stealing some advil, the only thing that I had was 10 pack of the capri sun which was on sale for 99 cents. He stated that the limit was 5, o told him that I had two different transactions so he stood their and watched me finished my purchase. And the once I got done with the second purchase he asked for my receipts. I had no problem showing him because I have no reason to steal anything. I have spent too much money in kroger. So he went on and on bought some advil, I didn’t have any advil in my shopping cart nor on my receipt. He said he was just doing his job. I will never spend I dime with y’all again! Everybody that comes in your store doesn’t steal
false advertisement
I tried sending to email I found but I would not go through I have attached in the photo area the email I tried to send. This was a lot of trouble and I feel as if I didn't get treated as I should have. The embarrassment alone was terrible. I mainly don't understand how you couldn't realize that they were selling expired tickets for such a big organization.
pharmacy
Friday 10/13/17 Called Inglewood Kroger pharmacy (Gallatin Rd. 37216) to have prescription that was originally placed at Brentwood Kroger pharmacy previous months to be filled at Inglewood pharmacy this month instead. Inglewood Kroger Pharmacy informed me that it would be easier for me to go to Brentwood Kroger pharmacy to get my prescription and to go to the same location instead of changing location of pick up. Inglewood Kroger pharmacy informed me that if I wanted it at Inglewood Kroger pharmacy it would take until Tuesday 10/17/17 to have it filled and ready because they had 150 prescriptions to be filled already. I called Publix who was able to transfer and fill prescription ready for pick up for half the price within 20 minutes.
service
Horrible shopping experience at this new kroger’s. Several sale items were out of stock. The cashier, bagger and “duster” complained that they hated working the front because they never got their breaks, one stated he had been there an hour already and didn’t look like he was going to get a break anytime soon. The bagger loaded one of my personal bags so heavy I could not lift the bag into my truck, it should have been divided into at least 2 bags in my opinion. The bagger might have noticed this if he had to lift it himself, the items were bagged with the shopping bag already in the cart. I was not offered help to my vehicle, the lines had only one shopper waiting to checkout, if any at all. My debit/credit card would not work without using a pin number. I choose not to use a pin number but was not able to. A supervisor was called over but she stated that sometimes she can override the card, sometimes she can’t. She didn’t try to override or explain why. I have done this at this same store 3 times before. I choose to shop kroger’s because I like the items offered, usually in stock, digital coupons, fuel pump discounts, friendly staff and fast checkouts. This was not the case at this kroger’s location. I don’t ever want to go back to this kroger’s location. I will have to decide if I want to go out of my way to a different location or shop elsewhere.
management
Why do Kroger say our people are great but allow Brittany at 456 in Michigan to treat the employees like trash I worked 9years for Kroger but had no choice but to quit because of how I was treated union refused to help me corporate allows it why is it that the employees that put there heart and soul into Kroger is allowed to be bullied by Miss kenebrew she walks around with her hiring manager taunting the employees so do Kroger really think there people are great or just trash

customer floor support
On 10/07/17 I had visited your store located @ 1028 Roberts Branch Rd in NE Columbia SC. I have been there a couple of times and just find it hard to located specific items. On this day I was looking for dried cranberries (package) I search the produce area and the baking isles to no avail. I approached an employee on isle 15 or so and ask where the pkg cranberry was located . His response was check the produce area and if not there than check isles 24, 25 or 26. I was so upset at this point in the poor customer service I had received. (Keep in mind I am a senior slightly heavyset women) I that I was just going to the check and and pay what groceries I had in my wagon. The cashier ask if I found everything I needed for the day and I acknowledge that I was very disappointed in the customer service at the store. I ask for the manager and waited over 10 minutes without he or she comings to the front to hear of my concerns. I left in total disappointment. Kroger is not the only store in the area, either you don't care about customers relations or your staff is not trained in the area of pleasing their customers. I'm from the old school days and believe customer service should be the utmost priority in this line of business...
flowers
I stopped by Kroger today to pick up some fresh flowers. I was disturbed to see that you are supporting the Susan G. Komen Foundation by ordering flowers from Nature's Flowers. Susan G. Komen contributes to planned parenthood. I read on the plastic wrap around the flowers that "Susan G. Komen's promise is to save lives ..." Isn't it ironic that they support an organization that does the opposite. I will not be purchasing any flowers that contribute to Susan G. Komen. I would hope that Kroger would do the same.
employee
I was walking out kroger with my purchased goods, and was stopped by an employee being accused of stealing merchandise. I had 8 transactions of free friday items and a few things with the free items, and did not grab all the reciepts so i was not allowed to take all the items i purchased ($50 worth) Its seriously ridiculous she kept all the formula that my son needed! So i kept explaining to her i paid for everything and she was more than welcome to check. I was trying to leave with my goods and she put her hands on me i told her DO NOT touch me, that i was a minor. She then drug me from one end of kroger, to the other threating to call the police for the goods i purchased! I had to have my husband take her hands off me do shed let me go. She was screaming in front of everyone.
behaviors of an employee
There is an employee named Brain who is a cleaner. He threw a fit because one of the managers would not let him go to Las Vagas, so he cussed out the manager and told him that he was going anyway. The Manager said that if he went that he would be fired. He said then fire me. Where this is going is that the store manager and another manager told him that he could go, and not only that when he get's back he has been promoted to GM. that means a raise. My complaint is I am his boss in the cleaning department. And I now have to work on my day off when it was suppose to be my first day of my vacation. This guy has always from day one never put in when he needs a day off. He comes in and expects everyone to rearrange their lives around his. and if you do not he throws this very bad temper. I have another employee who has another temper like that working for me. I had to give up my vacation for her cause she threw a temper and said that she was going no matter what. This is not fair to me. I have had to put things on hold and change my plans. I think that Brain should not get a promotion. That's stupid. He is going around telling everyone that he is going to teach the GM people on how to do their jobs .Management is giving into him. I work at the 869 store. Lisa my other employee keeps telling me that it is not in her job description and she won't do her job. So management says that they can not do anything to her. Why? So I am doing her job and my job. Is that fair? I tell her to do something she tells me that I am picking on her and it is discrimination. All I want her to do is her job and some extra cleaning around the store. Right now I feel like there is only one cleaner "me" And I am getting run down. I need more help in my department but I need people who are willing to do the job and more than just clean the bathrooms. This incident has happened in the past 3 weeks. I just want help. I have tried just about everything. Other than this. Can we not publish this. This is for the office only.
customer service
On October 9, 2017, I had a bad experience while shopping at Kroger on Murfreesboro Pike in Antioch, TN, and felt your company should know what issues your customers are having. I had an accident in January 2016, leaving me in a wheelchair with a broken back. I depend on my daughter to take me weekly grocery shopping, which I chose Kroger. I have shopped with Kroger for years, but last evening I was so embarrassed I don't know if I will ever go back into Kroger. I have watched as customer service declined taking the enjoyment out of shopping... As I was checking out on the self checkout lane, my daughter was in a lane checking her order out. She knows I like to be independent, so she thought I would be just fine. But to my surprise, the actions of the customer representative was humiliating. Once I had my groceries all scanned, I was paying with a card, but I was too low in the wheelchair to see the keypad. I asked the attendant for help when I realized she seemed angry with me. she came over and took my card to rescan and very angrily told me to just stop and read what it's asking me to put in the keypad. I tried to explain that I had trouble seeing it due to the wheelchair being lower than the keypad. She just walked off in what seemed to be anger. My daughter was too far away to ask for help. I managed to pull myself up enough to complete my transaction, and to load my groceries in my cart. I didn't dare ask for help. I was so embarrassed once I realized the customers behind me were watching the whole incident. I may be in a wheelchair, but I felt I didn't deserve the treatment I received... Thank you for your time.
this is about kroger sending completed transactions to my bank
I have been trying clicklist for about 3 months now. I have not had any real issues with it. Until the past month. I reserved a time slot on 9/21 and 9/30...both times the pick up was fine. A few substitutes but no big deal. Today is 10/10. My bank account just now shows those 2 charges CLEARING from my acct after it had been 3 weeks. This is not ok with me. I shop with a budget in mind and when 2 charges for 2 different weeks comes out in the same day 3 weeks later, it really throws off my bank account. Kroger wouldn't take blame, said they'd never seen this before, and to call my bank...my bank says they can't take the money from my account until the transaction completes on Kroger's end. I will not be shopping Kroger ClickList anymore. The convenience is no longer worth it.
cashier on register 12
On 10/7/2017 I put all my groceries on the conveyer and at the end the cashier started to ring up a bag of fruit, I told him that was not mine. He turned to the customers behind me if the fruit belonged to them, they replied No. He then proceeded to say “ it must be yours it’s behind your groceries”, in a very demeaning and sarcastic manner. I seen the fruit on the side before I put my groceries on the Conveyer, someone before me obviously left the fruit. What upset me is the customers behind me obviously put it behind my groceries and stood there and said nothing and the Cashier adamantly believed the caucouple beh
disrespectful and rude employee
I visited the Kroger gas station last night at
4915 Dixie Hwy
Louisville, Kentucky 40216
Kathleen (the cashier/attendant) was very rude for no reason. I asked her for a pack of Newport (without being carded). I had a coupon for $1 off the cigarettes. I paid for that, then told her I needed $35 on pump 1, which was my friends money. She got a nasty attitude with me and said, "You could have told me it was 2 transactions". I didn't know that mattered. I apologized but she was still huffing and puffing. I asked her what her name was because of her attitude. She said, "Catherine".
So I go back up to get the receipt because I do the survey weekly and it would give me the details (date, time, cashier, etc) The receipt was a duplicate so it didn't have the survey where I could have informed her superiors about her inappropriate behavior.
I saw on the receipt immediately her name is Kathleen.
As I waited in the line behind 4 men, she was flirting, joking around with them and in no rush. She had treated me like I was holding the line up. Anyway I just wanted the right person tp know how she treats others. Thanks for listening,
Carey McLaughlin

You have no evidence besides your sense of smell that she was on marijuana. Additionally, it seems like this is one bad experience out of many fine visits.
