the pharmacy, the new pharmacist roxanne specifically.
Roxanne filled a medication that had already been filled previous in the day at a different location. We received a text saying that my husband had a medication ready for pickup it was not designated what medication. A competent pharmacist would have known he filled the prescription earlier in the day at a different location. We picked up the medication and didn't realize that it was the same medicine until we got home. Not only did her incompetence cause us unnecessary stress her attitude toward my husband was condescending and definitely did not live up to what I thought was the Kroger high standard. She also had the nerve to tell my husband she didn't feel comfortable filling his medications anymore, it was her mistake not his. To add insult to injury, my husband's medication was improperly filled a month before. The quantity was supposed to be 60, only 30 were filled. She did a very good job of Shifting the blame off herself onto my husband. We will not be filling our prescriptions with Kroger Pharmacy any longer. We are very disappointed in her service. This is that the Louetta and Grant location.
stolen credit cards used to buy kroger gift cards.
On October 30th, 2017 stolen credit cards were used to buy $1, 619.80 worth of Kroger gift cards at the 3039 Breckenridge Ln., Louisville, KY 40220 Kroger store . Two different credit cards with my name charged $809.90 each. No one asked for identification or saw any reason to question the purchases. Had the cashier asked for I.D. they would have had reason. They would have known the cards didn't belong to the person or person's trying to use them. The purchase could have been stopped. I had a hard time understanding how this could even happen. After doing some research I found this is a common scam running throughout Louisville, Kentucky. My city. In fact, area Kroger's are aware of this scam; stolen credit cards being used to buy Kroger gift cards. That being the case, one would have to wonder why Kroger would not be proactive in trying to prevent this crime. Why is it not protocol to ask for identification when Kroger gift cards are being bought with a credit card? Especially a card having large amounts of money added to it? So, I actually called 3 different Kroger stores in that area. I told them my situation and asked them why? Not a single one had an answer. It is my belief Kroger is perpetuating and encouraging this behavior. The thieves know they can get away with their scam at a Kroger store. They do it over and over again. It is common knowledge they can get away with it at a Kroger. Kroger allows it to happen. So, Corporate Kroger, why don't you put a stop to it? Instruct your employees to ask for identification for gift cards purchased with a credit card. Not hard to do. Perhaps you should be held liable for the loss and expense the victims of this scam must face as well as the emotional toll that leaves one feeling violated and unsafe in their own community. According to an article published on November 1st, 2017 on the Wave 3 News of Louisville website (www.wave3.com), this has been going on for at least 8 months. Completely irresponsible of you, Kroger, to not take extra precautions to counteract this crime. I called your Kroger loss prevention phone # to complain. My call went straight to voicemail where I left my name and phone # with a request to please return my call. I'm waiting... not holding my breath.
your premier atlanta store deserves better
At your premiere atlanta store on glenwood ave that features a wine bar, one would expect you could keep basic produce stocked. Not so. On most visits, many shelves are empty. Basic items like carrots are almost always picked over or not available. Prices are missing from items like broccoli, etc, in photo. There are no bags for produce. See the photos I took today around noon time on a tuesday. Very disappointed in this new store.
grocery bagger on shift
The lady ringing up my order accidentally charged me for way more than the 2 donuts at $.75/ea (not sure if it was a half dozen or a dozen but definitely way too much money) and was obviously annoyed when I asked her to correct the problem right there instead of sending me to wait in another line at customer service after we had already been waiting in line like 15 minutes for the couple people infront of us having issues. So she clears the order and proceeds to re-ring up each item again and as the bagger is taking my items out of the bag he was clearly upset as well and threw my bananas back to the cashier bouncing them off the counter first.
Everyone has a bad day now and then, but this particular location handles things so backwards everytime I shop here...totally makes sense why people would rather go to Walmart.
i'm complaining about gas points
On 10-28-2017 @ 2:11 I was getting gas.I asked for $15 on pump 3 & Jaried the cashier asked me did I want to use my 10cents & I said yes.Started pumping my gas & it stopped @ 0.15cents.I went back to tell Jaried & show him my ticket he said he was sorry & I said that's ok. I also asked did I lose my 10cents & he said yes . I can't put my points in from ticket not enough numbers. How do I get my points back from both tickets. He only gave me the second one with not enough to do survery..
human resources department
Been working for seven months as a deli clerk. I have four degrees, speak seven languages, recently passed my bar exam, have 8+ years of high level management.
To every inquiry of mine about advancement, I receive extreme resistance.
Can someone start an open and honest dialogue?
I am stuck in a catch 22, and local area managers are doing nothing to help
food - kroger brand frozen chopped spinach
Ugly green bug in my spinach. I was chopping and cooking 2 packages of Kroger frozen chopped spinach and saw something hard. Big green bug with legs and all. It appears I may have chopped off half
Anyway, disgusting. Pictures included. We will have a hard time ever eating spinach again. Also, I had to dig through the garbage to find the package, pack the bug in a bag, and spend time writing to you.
I don't only have a problem eating Kroger brand spinach- but ALL Kroger brands. I will try a store brand and have- but now Kroger has replaced so many name brands that there is only the choice of buying theirs or none. I have been shopping at the Kroger in Rochester MI for 32 years. Many years ago I could get everything I needed (I go to butcher for meat) and would walk out with a $300 of food in an over flowing cart 5-6 times a month. Now there are so few name brand selections I just need a hand basket. It is sad. When faced with no option but Kroger brand (or some bottom barrel brand like Picsweet) I will not even try it. I have bought several Kroger brands in the past, when an option of name brand is available, I buy both, that way if I really don't like it I have a back up without running back to store. It has gotten out of control. Now I am spending time trying to figure out where I am going to spend my $1500 a month for food. Furthermore, my family picks up about 10 prescriptions a month from Kroger and if I can't find what I need there I will have to find another pharmacy as well, which is disappointing because Ken and Georgia are great. Very disappointed in the decisions Kroger is making to turn this store into nothing more than a place to sell their SEVERAL different brands.
quantity limits without signage
I only drink Pepsi and coffee in my daily diet so when Pepsi is on sale - I stock up. I have been in your Kroger store in Longview, Texas on NUMEROUS occacions and bought 40 and 50 2 liter bottles at a time. They are on sale starting today and I had 50 loaded in my buggy - you have to buy increments of 5 - and got to the register and was told that they decided to have a limit of 15. I also had 5 Dr. Pepper, 5 Cokes and 5 7up, along with other groceries. I left it all sitting at the cash register. I do not have a problem with limits, but it should be on the sign by the product so these things don't happen. Also, someone from the manaagement watched me load everyone of them in my buggy and never said a word. Everyone in the store, including the manager were very rude. I even caught them talking about me when I went back in to take pictures to post on social media showing how they do business. The lady was shocked when she noticed me behind her. I waited 15 minutes out of my lunch break with them trying to get someone to ask. The assistant manager was out in the parking lot and that's who they were trying to get and when I found him he didn't know if they had decided on a limit or not and didn't know ever what it was. I called the [protected] number and they were absolutely no help. I felt like they should have let me have what I had in my buggy and then I would have known for the rest of this sale about the limits. Yes, it says in tiny letters at the bottom of the weekly ad that they have the right to limit quantities and they do, but post it somewhere. Not sure when I will ever shop at Kroger again and will definitely be letting my friend, co-workers and family know about this incident. The cashiers and everyone were rude. I'm 60 years old and I was taught that the customer comes first. This incident will cost you tremendously with me and my associates if I can help it. I DO NOT appreciate being taken advantage of and being treated like I'm dirt and mean nothing. In the big scheme of things, I have been helping them get paid by shopping there. Very disappointed in the way this situation was handled. I'd rather pay more than be treated like I mean nothing.
kroger sunflower seeds, sea salted
First, I would like to say that I have purchased many Kroger brand foods, and have found them to usually be same or better than many name brands. I know that many people think that store brands are inferior to name brands, and I admit that I used to think that. Once I started purchasing Kroger brands, when available, I have very rarely been disappointed, and in many cases, I PREFER the flavors of Kroger brands over name brands - Kroger multi-grain crackers, frozen orange fruit bars, and 2% milk for the 3 that I use most.
I am sorry to say, though, that I have a temporary complaint. I have purchased salted, dry roasted sunflower kernels in 7.25 ounce jar before, and have liked them better than other brands, which are usually far too salty. This week, though, I purchased a jar of them, and they are over cooked. I noticed that they were slightly darker brown than usual, when I picked them up off of the shelf. They actually TASTE slightly bitter and over cooked, though, and I don't want to eat them. I know that I can return them to the store, and I will, but I wanted to let the home office know that there is a problem with your supplier's product consistency. They are not terrible, but they aren't as good as usual, which I have come to expect. The expiration information printed on the jar is: "Sell by Sept 13 18 3153892D FB2 17:10"
I am not requesting a coupon or anything from you. This is just to inform someone in purchasing or quality control, because I know these probably are produced for you by the thousands of containers, and the problem is not just with this one jar.
Thank you for providing such a great grocery!
lights in parking lot
If you are seeing sales decrease at the Kroger at 3959 Lavista Rd in Tucker, GA, I would not be surprised. All of the lights in the parking lot are completely out. When I arrived, I was approached by someone in the parking lot asking for money, and I didn't even see them coming. I was honestly worried about exiting w/ my groceries because I knew they would still be out there & it was really dark.
One of the employees was gathering carts when I was leaving, and I asked if the lights had been out for a long time. I was told that they had & many people have complained to no avail. It is dangerous for your employees and your customers.
That Kroger used to be my main grocery store (for years). I definitely don't plan on returning - or at least not in the evening.
unethical behaviour and being cussed and threatened by 3rd shift manager!!
To whom it may concern: this happened on 10/24/17 at aproximately 1:30 am... I have been a loyal customer at madisonville, ky krogers for yrs and the way my work goes I always shop in the morning hours as krogers stays open all night, on the date and time I stated up top of this complaint I went to do my normal shopping as usual. Upon getting to the front doors I went to go in but the doors wouldnt open, all the lights were on, no signs that said closed anywhere, there were a couple of boys I could see stocking shelves so I was like whats going on with the door so I proceeded to look on both sets of door of anything that may of said they was closed and the only thing I saw was a paper that said as of nov. 5 2017 (Now again the date of this is incident was october 24, 2017) the pharmacy would be closing at 12 oclock starting on nov. 5th. That didnt make since as the pharmacy has always closed way before 12 midnight so I was like whats going on so upon seeing the lights on and the stock boys working I assumed the doors was just messed up and I barely took my finger to pull the door (Noting that if the store was closed then the doors should of been locked as not to have an incident like this happen) and it automatically opened up about half way open so I went on in, as I got just inside the other set of automatic doors opened by them selves letting me in, I didnt get a cart an proceeded in to ask if they was open, when doing so I saw another woman wearing a pink shirt and pink pants with a cart coming around one of the rows by one of the stock boys and it looked like she was shopping so I told myself well heck there open and the door was just messed up so I turned around and went back and got a shopping cart and proceeded back into store with my cart ready to shop, im still wondering so I got close to a stock boy and still being the good samaritan I am I asked if they was open cause of the door not working. The boy informed me that "no they closed at 12 oclock" I reply "wow when did they start this as I was just there about a week and a half ago with my son later than what time it was at this time" he said that they started this back in september he thought, and I said again me and my son was here after 12 just a week and a half ago in october probly around the 12th or 13th so it couldnt of been in september when he started this went into effet and brought it to his attention that the doors was not locked and there were no closed signs or anything to instruct someone that they were closed, but nevertheless me and this boy was just kindly talking about this and I said sorry for the mishap and then I went ahead and was going to leave but I informed him that I saw the lady in pink shopping so there was someone else in there shopping as well so he needed to tell her also, I told him thx and sorry again and smiled and he smiled and said its ok and told me to have a good night and sorry for the confusion and he took off towards where the lady in pink was to I guess tell her they was closed as well, so in all no harm, no foul, honest mistake as the store did not have any signs they was closed and the doors was not locked... This is where the problem begins, as I am leaving I get just about to the doors and I hear a man from all the way on the other side of the store yelling at the top of his lungs stop man< hey you stop, I turned around and looked and he is looking and pointing at me, he is yelling and coming at me like a raging bull like he is fixing to fight me and this freaks me out cause im like who is this dude coming at me like this as he did not have a kroger badge on nor a kroger shirt so I dint know who this person was or what was going on as he never said he worked there or anything pertaining he was an employee so as he got right upon me I was ready to defend myself as I thought he was fixing to beat me up, so I imediately told him to stop yelling at me and who did he think he was as I thought it was another person just like me, he then replied im the man around here and that I needed to get the hell out of here or he was calling the cops, so I said do you work here and he said I sure in the hell do so I then said well if you do I want to see the manager right away as to his threating and yelling and cussing me, he then said I am the [censor] manager as he was continuing to get closer in my face spitting on me from yelling so loud right in my face that I took all I could take and told him if he got any closer to me I was going to defend myself (I really thought this dude was fixing to hit me) and he said thats it im calling the cops, I told him to go ahead and call the cops that I would get them to look at the store tapes and the cops would see his unprofessional threating approach as he come up to me and that they would see his actions and help me in this situation, he then told me again to get the hell out of the store and to keep me from loosing my cool I turned around to leave, he then followed me all the way to the door as I was then outside and said again that he was calling the cops and was gonna get my liscense plate number, at that time I have had enough of this guy acting like this to me and yelling at the top of his lungs at me (I would bet that every worker in the store could of heard him yelling he was so loud) I then said come one out and get my liscense plate number cause when ya come out here im gonna teach you not to yell and cuss me like you have, but he stayed and proceeded to lock the doors to the store still cussing at me behind the doors (If the store was closed then the doors should of been locked over an hour and a half before at 12 oclock when they closed but they was not locked at 12 as thats what he was doing at that time I was outside proceeding to cuss at me as he locked the doors at almost 2:00 am) I was completely devastated that this happened and that this man threatened me and cussed me like he did, I assume he was third shift manager but had nothing on to verify that he was and have no idea what his name is but I came home and got on the web to find this page and make a complaint... I am also going to go there tomorrow and talk to the main store manager about this incident and if something isnt done about this guy I will never shop there again and im going to tell everyone I know what my experience was that happened on this date and also im going to put an artical in the news paper and let all of madisonville read about it and expose the threatening and vulger cussing manager that they have working there 3rd shift... I was completely scared for my well-being and thought this guy was going to accualy hit me or start fighting me... He never once asked me what was going on or wouldnt stop yelling long enough for me to tell him I just got done talking to one of the stock boys and that he informed me they was closed and all was well that I was on my way out, he was way past professional acting and if he has before or was to act like he did to me to anyone else in the future not only will he be getting more complaints, more people will not shop there and he is also giving krogers a bad name as far as employees go, I have been in management positions for a few different places in my life as management is my thing as well and when you have something happen you absolutly dont go running and cussing towards a customer as it is not professional at all and you never dare threaten a customer even if the customer is in the wrong... I want something done about this imeadiately as all you guys have to do is look at the store replay tapes and then you can see me talking to the nice stock boy and finding out they was closed and me leaving in good spirits and then you will see this dude coming up aggresively to me and see that he is screaming at me, matter of fact if something isnt done about him tomorrow I may go to the police station and file a law suite against him and krogers tomorrow! I am a very disgusted customer and I also know that im just one person and most of the time the upper people say oh well if he dont shop here again big deal but if this dude continues to act like he does im sure there will be future complaints or if he ever hits someone future law suites. Im am not looking for coupons or money or hand outs of any kind, what im looking for is that this person be responsible of his actions for the way he is treating your customers and punished or fired for his actions... Im still gonna think on this but I may just go to the police instead of tying to tell the main store manager tomorrow about the situation as im half way scared to go back and him happen to be there and try to hurt or cuss me again, very very disgusted and frightened customer!
buying wine
So today at 10:30 PM I was denied my alcohol sale by the employee named Leslie. The reason being is because my Alabama license was vertical rather than horizontal. I'm a 22 year old bartender in TN with an ABC license and I know for a fact that this is not against the law. I have never had a problem with my ID downtown or anywhere else I have purchased alcohol. She had an inexcusable attitude towards me and was rude the entire time. She tried to make me feel inferior and say she knows the law but I deal with this kind of thing every day at work. So I challenged her and she eventually proceeded with the sale but needless to say I'm never coming here again to buy a bottle of wine. I'll just go down the street if incompetent employees are going to tell me that my ID, that doesn't expire until 10/24/2018, isn't valid. That's absolutely ridiculous.
bill pay/customer service
I went into Kroger (#366) on Hwy. 5, Douglasvile, Ga to make a bill payment. I was told by 3 different people it couldn't be done, when I just did this at this location last month. I then asked to speak with a manage and she had no clue, stating "she doesn't do bill pay, she does a lot of things but not bill pay". They then had Ambirlee customer service rep try to help, she can't figure it out. Ambirlee then has a conversation with another Kroger employee about being wrote up due to excessive absences. Talks about quitting, etc. 30 minutes into my visit and they are still trying at to figure out how to do by calling someone named Martina on a cell phone. Then after 10 minutes they say they can't do it, it just cannot be done. They did it last month and many other times! As well as other Kroger stores! This is the worst experience ever! All of them were so rude, unprofessional and lacked on the job knowledge.
fuel points
I stopped for gas this morning and after I got home I noticed I was not given any fuel points off and I should have had 80 cents a gallon coming. The information I have is: Donna Workman, account # [protected]. Address 940 Fishermans Cove Rd. London, Ky. 40741. Phone # [protected]. The Kroger store in question information is: Kroger Fuel #409. London, Ky. 40741 Their phone # [protected]. Pump # 9. unl @2.049 /gal. Volume 30.430 gal. Gas total 62.35. Ref#: 03725B. 10/23/17 08.32 am. 409 124 27 [protected].
I put my Kroger card in as I always do so I have no idea of why I didn't get my 80 cents off a gallon. Whatever you can do to correct this problem will be very helpful.

pringles saturday deal and previous deals
Customer satisfaction has always been a top priority in any customer business setting..when I ask for a raincheck because you didn't order enough to stock the shelves. Your reply shouldn't be Oh your a coupons we don't do rainchecks on deals for Saturday's anymore all the couponers get carried away and buy us out and then people think they should get the same item for same price..not happening today guess you'll just have to go somewhere else..then she laughs..i have never been so labeled in my life I shop Lexington ky Alexandria kroger since I was 18 and the rudeness was not cared for in the least..i almost have thought about switching to another county just so I don't have to deal with the labeling...im helping out churches with donations, I feed a family of my own plus give one feel meal each week to a family in need..my email is [protected]@gmail.com and feel as some sort of apology needs to made or even recognize so the belittling of someone else whose not so calm has to face the discrimination I recieved.. thank you Deana
service
On Thursday October 19 2017 @ roughly 1:30. I went to Kroger, on Frederick street owensboro Ky, to exchange a wrong product that I had accidentally picked up the day before. While in the line at customer service I seen who was running counter and I nee immediately that I was going to have problems. I'm not sure why but there is a lady who does not lie me and always gives me dirty looks and smirks at me when I come in. Anyway I put the product up on counter and receipt and simply said I'm sorry but I was in hurry and grabbed wrong one can I please exchange for right one. She said we can't exchange that. I said look I'm not a drinker I have hashimotos disease but my husband had requested that I pick some up for him for the weekend and I accidentally picked up wrong one. Before I even got that out of my mouth she had phone in hand and was dialing. Next thing I new she said yeh no I was correct we don't exchange alcohol. I said I want to see a manager. She said that was head of security. I said okay fine I want to speak to him please. She called him back after sighing. Then a few seconds later I recongnized the manager I had seen in there the day before. I went over to him and told him exactly what happened he looked at the product and said which one did u need I told him he went back got right one and we went to service counter the whole time Cindy was raging pacing back and forth while there was a line of people up there to be waited on. She was looking for security manager. Then they were whispering and kept looking at me. I felt extremely uncomfortable. But the manager (Lorenzo) swapped them out for me. I explained I was sorry. And told him I had more to purchase he put a sticker on it and allowed me to get the other things I needed. It only took a few minutes as I was checking out Cindy came over and was telling Maria the lady over u scan about what happened and was pointing and laughing then the head of security came out of a room and joined them my son who is 17 was with me and just comforted me. I had just found out the day before I also have 2 small tumors on my left frontal lobe. So I have been extremely emotional. But this isn't the first time I have been treated bad by her. My husband bought me miniature roses a month ago and after a week as they stared to wilt it was in planter and soil looked great I had fed them and was not in direct sun lite. So I tried to exchange them after talking to lady in flower Dept. But Cindy was up there and said we don't exchange flowers especially after 7 days. So I just threw them away. She is very unfriendly to me. I'm sure if it had been just my husband she would have done it. Anyway I love Kroger and you have some fantastic managers and upbeat people that work there but that lady is just rude for no reason.
creme brulee - bakery pastry
Hi. My name is Madison Dawkins, and today (10/20/17) around 2:30 p. m., I visited the Kroger on Turner McCall Blvd in Rome, Georgia. Along with upwards of $30 worth of other deli/bakery items, I purchased a creme brulee that was topped with raspberries from the "fresh" pastry case in the bakery section. I was taking lunch to my fiance who works at the Barnes and Noble next door, and I thought this would be a tasty dessert to follow up our meals. However, much to my disappointment, when I opened the creme brulee, I was immediately dissatisfied with the texture and taste of the actual custard. It was chunky and crumbly, almost as though it had curdled, and the overall taste was simply off. I took a few bites, including approximately of the raspberries on top, before one of the berries turned over, and I was able to see that many of the berries were filled with green/black mold and other fuzzy growth. This pastry was within date, and I must emphasize that the growth on the berries was on the underside (inside the hollow section of the raspberries which had been turned upside down to decorate the pastry), leaving me to believe that the mold was there before the berries were ever put on top of the creme brulee to begin with. I'm not sure if this is an issue of employees improperly dating these items causing them to expire before their marked date of expiration, or perhaps a temperature issue, which would explain both the growth and the seemingly curdled custard. Following my lunch, I promptly returned to the store with my receipt and proceeded to speak with the manager on duty, Jeffery. I was disappointed at how casually he treated the situation and shocked by how quickly he removed the product from my hand and threw it away. Luckily, I had already taken photographic evidence before it went in the trash can. He proceeded to tell me that raspberries were very susceptible to this kind of spoiling, basically implying that I should have looked over my pre-made pastry more closely before putting it in my mouth. I was given a refund for that item only, and both Jeffery and the clerk who refunded me did apologize for the incident. However, as someone who just consumed a toxic substance at the hands of Kroger, an apology and a $4 refund were not even close to adequate compensation. I work in the service industry, and I understand that these kinds of things happen. However, when someone who patrons my business has a complaint about an incident such as this, I make sure I go above and beyond to right the wrong, even when their complaint is not in regards to something as serious as consuming multiple varieties of mold in the food I just served them. I have been a long-time patron of Kroger, and it's among my favorite places to grocery shop. However, today I felt very undervalued, dismissed, and pacified, and I must say that the handling of this situation has resulted in my desire to never return to this particular Kroger location.
parking lot lighting — dangerous environment
The 1375 Chambers Road location in Columbus has had three burned out parking lot lights for at least three weeks.
Local management has said the regional office has been notified for repair but NO ACTION has taken place.
This is a dangerous environment, both for traffic reasons and potential crime reasons.
It is unconscionable this situation - a matter of customer AND employee safety -- is not a priority, especially with the earlier sundown as fall progresses.
Four years ago I walked into Kroger a healthy person but leaving changed my life forever.I tripped on a defective threshold and it resulted in injuries So far I have had 3 surgeries and still need back for 2 slipped discs. Kroger refused to pay my doctor bills so I had to wait 21 months to get the care I needed.and Medicare paid. That is shameful and heartless of Kroger. My orthopedic said where have you been and why is Kroger not helping you ? After 16 months passed I sent Rodney McMullen CEO a video and email of his threshold. He had Sedgwick call me and offer $100 and after that $10, 000.That is peanuts for them and letting Medicare pay so far over $100, 000 and we are not done. I need help and I did not ask for this.Kroger ruined my health and they could care less. What little bit they would help me with would not break their bank. I am stretching my food, my vehicle broke down and doing with out and fighting pain and stress every day because they do not care.I worked for Kroger when I was a young girl and they only care about their bottom line. Thanks for destroying my health and running my life. Anyone can contact me at cdmmow@aol.com
