Pepper jack cheese
I bought 2 lb. block of cheese at Kroger/Fred Meyer November or December of 2022 and it has done nothing but crumbled from beginning to end. I could not slice it and since I like to make toasted cheese sandwiches or just eat a piece of sliced cheese, I couldn't!
Before Kroger took over Fred Meyer I could buy a Pepper Jack Cheese in different sizes in block form that was so nice for slicing and perfect if you didn't want a large block of cheese. I don't remember the company that made it but it was good, sliceable, and a good price and sizes for 2 people to choose from.
Desired outcome: Buy a cheese in sizes that can be chosen as one sees fit in blocks for cutting, they don't have to be square, and one that is a good price and slices without crumbling.
Customer service
I stopped at Kroger on my way home from work tonight. This Kroger that I'm referring to is located at 7427 Goodman Rd., Olive Branch, MS, 38654. The store was pretty crowded because we are anticipating bad weather in this area. I went through self-checkout. According to my receipt, I checked out at 6:16 p.m. on 1/30/2023 (I have the Entry ID number if...

I've complained to the store several times. Just did again today, 1/29/23. Russell Ridge Kroger Pharmacy on Buford Drive in Lawrenceville, GA is horrible! They mess up prescriptions, they are rude, they argue with customers, they call me to tell me they have a prescription ready to be picked up (I don't have any, i've moved them all out) and are horribly...

Hi Kroger, I'm not really complaining about anyone or about bad service because I like Kroger. My problem is I can't go into your stores because all of your Shell Fish and sea food are in open coolers. You can smell it as soon as you walk into your stores. I had to leave out a few times because I'm allergic to the smell, and the shell fish. My eyes were bothering me and I was itching really bad. I was going to apply for a job, I'm retired, but I can't be in the store. I am 66 years old and if it affects me badly, what about young children that are allergic to shell fish. I think your shell fish should be in closed coolers, it can become a liability to you. I hope it never does. I'm just letting you know because I think it is a serious issue.
Thank You

Desired outcome: Put all shell fish in closed coolers, for the sake of adults and children like me.
Employer refuses to issue vacation check
Took paid vacation time December 18-24 from Kroger store on Memorial Blvd in Murfreesboro, TN. Did not receive vacation check that week. One month later, company has refused to issue check and union has stopped responding to requests for check. Have also had multiple paychecks short hours/days. Company does not pay employees fairly and ignores the problem when it is brought to their attention.

1. This store is horrible. It always has an odor. The parking lot is is always dirty. The selection of Fruits and Vegetables is abysmal. I avoid going in there. I needed Seltzer Water and Aldi does not carry the 2 liter bottle and I don't care for Walmart. 2. The lighting always looks like you're trying to save money. Compare it to the new Publix at Sam'...

Beaver Ruin Village store in Lilburn Ga...the women's bathroom in the back is DISGUSTING! This is not the first time that this problem has occurred. The toilet paper holders in the stalls are not used. Toilet paper rolls are hung all around the stalls on makeshift holders. This is GROSS! You sell food in this store and your toilet paper is literally swinging around the bathroom. This is my last time in this store. I have brought this up to the managers attention a few months ago and within a week the problem was fixed. But today... absolutely disgusting!
Defective/outdated electric mobility carts
I shop at the Kroger's in Shelby Twp, Michigan, 23 miles and Hayes. I utilize on - site mobility electric carts. Carts at this location are outdated and typically run out of charge although they say charged. The store misleads customers thinking that the carts will provide the necessary mobility to complete shopping. On numerous occasions my cart runs out of charge leaving me stranded looking for a push cart. I'm disappointed that Kroger's has no regard for customers that require mobility in providing updated carts that provide the required reliability for a pleasant shopping experience. I do not have this issues with Meijers in my area.
Desired outcome: Update your equipment
Price + Misleading
- Prices in the name of inflation, are seen being exploited at large - by about 60% to 120% based on the products
- Labeling is seen misleading with regards to digital coupons that are made very hard to use for common use, as well as - price of labels to overlap a product not on sale thus, misleading
Just pay attention to each product price and while at the counter - better - avoid if possible and find an alternative - HEB or other - that may have fair practice and fair prices.
Delaying filling a prescription
Krogers generally fills my prescription. My dr sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy in Nov. I had it filled. The next time I had the dr send it back to Krogers. On Jan 2 2023 on Jan 6 The Krogers told me I could get it filled on Jan 14 that I had had it filled at a different pharmacy and Insurance would not allow refill until then. On Jan 14 I called...
Read full review of KrogerVisa gift card
I bought a gift card for my mother for Christmas from the Kroger store at 4613 Marburg Avenue on December 16, 2022 at 8:26am. I loaded $100 onto it at the register and also bought a $40 gift card for my niece and loaded it. I gave it to my mother for Christmas and she opened it only to find out that it had a $0 balance after she tried to use it at two different stores. The card my mother had just opened had been used to purchase computer equipment. My mother is 84 year old. It had the card number [protected]. The card number that was supposed to be on the card and ended with the last four digits 0530 on my receipt per the customer service person was on my was [protected]. So this is the number that was verified by the person that you call on the phone number at the bottom of the Kroger receipt. The card number on the card my mother opened is not the same as the one on the receipt. I went to Kroger customer service and was told Kroger has nothing to do with the cards. I made a point of telling the guy that I have bought prepaid cards from Kroger for a long time and noticed they were always through www. prepaid giftcards.com not www.gift card mall.com. He told me Kroger just recently switched. I called the number at the bottom of the receipt and was given a number where they did verify the money was put onto the card that I had the receipt for ending in 0530 but said someone had used it. This is obviously someone working within the Kroger network because the person I spoke with sounded just like the young lady that gave me the bogus number to call that no one answered when I called it: [protected] I had called the night before and was given another phone number to call [protected]. She gave me the same bogus card number and a reference number. but when asked for the CVV code she said she couldn't give that to me. Tonight she gave me the same bogus card number and another reference number. Kroger needs to check into whomever is servicing their gift card customer service accounts and phone numbers. I asked the girl didn't I talk to you last night and a few minutes ago. There was a slight pause and then she continued. I'm certain it was the same girl tonight. I realized the card numbers that were verified by the person I called at the phone number listed at the bottom of the Kroger receipt doesn't even appear to be a 16 digit card number. Kroger is selling the product in their store so they should be responsible for making sure the product is a quality product as they do with other items they sell in their stores. When there is a problem Kroger usually does the right thing and makes it right. I hope Kroger does the right thing here and then I hope they stop selling gift cards if they are not able to do more with stopping the scams to customers that purchase them at Kroger. Today CASE# REF#[protected]
Desired outcome: I would like my $100 back to give to my mother. I'd rather just give her the cash than risk with another scam with gift cards at Kroger now. I will not do gift cards anymore unless I get them from a bank and am still reluctant.
Prepaid mastercard
My husband purchased a $300 MasterCard gift card for me from Kroger #457 (1230 N Houston Levee Rd, Cordova, TN) on 11/2/22 and received an Activation Status Receipt with an authorization approval along with the gift card. The card was gifted to me on 11/3/22. The package was unopened and intact. I attempted to activate the gift card online at prepaidgiftbalance.com on 1/1/23 and received an error message. I called the 888# on the card and was routed to a Customer Service Rep. I was informed the gift card had been deactivated because there was attempted activity on the card in September 2022 and it was sold and loaded with funds in November 2022. This indicated fraudulent activity and thus the deactivation. I was told they would look into it but contact the store where it was purchased since the problem happened there.
I contacted Kroger Customer Support-Fraudulent & Lost Cards on 1/2/23. After providing the requested information, they informed me that the card showed the original $300 with no activity and to contact Prepaid Gift to activate the card. I explained I had already talked with them and the issue with the card. I was informed that Kroger has no responsibility for the gift card and I purchased it at my own risk. I asked them to assist me in resolving this issue with Prepaid Gift Customer Support and they said they would not be able to assist me. I was told that Kroger has no interest in tracking fraudulent prepaid gift card activities that occur with gift cards purchased from them.
I don’t know all the rules and protocol of prepaid gift cards. However, I do know that Kroger #457 was given $300 for a prepaid MasterCard gift card and now the card is useless. As a paying customer who had no role whatsoever in the fraudulent activity, I am caught in the middle with no one willing to assume responsibility for reimbursement or replacement of the gift card. If Kroger indeed has no further responsibility beyond selling the card, then they need to post notices in the store that informs the customer you are purchasing at your own risk and we will not provide any assistance if you have issues.
Desired outcome: refund of $300 or replacement gift card
Paying with check
This is the second time once in brighton mi krogers and hamburg mi krogers, total bull, shop there all the time and more than enough money in checking account to pay grocery bill, no explaination given just cant take ckeck when krogers has taken at least 75 previous checks from me from same acct. Sincerely dissapointed and will consider shopping elsewhere
Desired outcome: response with explaination, like we no longer accept checks, maybe....
Customer service
I've had two issues with the same young cashier named Maddy at the Elkview, WV, Kroger's. Tonight I was approached by a woman who asked if I had "taken pictures" of her cashier, which was Maddy. She also said "she's underage" I replied that I had not, and why would I, and that's a bit odd, don't you think. Maddy was helping us complete a transaction while I was on my phone, and her friend was watching me closely, which was odd. I don't know what the friend thought she saw, but I wasn't photographing anyone. I was taking care of my personal business. Furthermore, it's a Constitutional right to photograph anyone in a public place, let it be man, woman or child. I don't appreciate being harassed for something I did not do, nor do I appreciate my Constitutional rights being trampled upon by some woman at Kroger's. This is not the first time I've had issue with Maddy. I spoke to man who had started hanging out at Kroger's with the "teenagers" and told him that it was very odd for him to be doing so. I'm sure Kroger's has a no loitering policy as it is, but that man is a known pedophile and hangs out at grocery stores near teenage boys and girls. I was merely trying to let the guy know that what he was doing was not right, hoping he would stop and not come back. The following night, Maddy approached me while in line and told me that she thought I was wrong for talking to him. I looked at her and said that she probably thinks that because she's young and naive, but I then told her the facts surrounding this 60 year old pedo that she's been hanging with in Kroger's. Anyway, I've had it with this nonsense from her and her friends. I'm a veteran who has shopped there for over 20 years, and I want something done about it.
Just want them to improve their pharmacy services
Kroger Pharmacy, 1670 Starlite Dr, Owensboro, KY 42301, [protected] I have been a loyal customer at this Kroger Pharmacy for approximately 15 years. Last winter, wait times became incredibly long to pick up medication and there was no drive-thru open. I was frustrated but understood due to lack of enough staff. Things got better after a while but then...
Read full review of KrogerCorporate Headquarters
Readers may find it very interesting to know that the corporate headquarters of this company is entirely run by contractors (not employees). You may also find it interesting to know that the customer service department for this company is located in the Philippine Islands. This is an insulation process called hands-off management (got a liability, use a disposable employee). I will be sure never to shop here again.
Desired outcome: I desire an unimaginable outcome.
As a person who works for the company but I am remaining anonymous, we have workers in the Philippines Islands because Kroger is also in the Philippines and helps people there, as for the company being entirely run by contractors that is incorrect. With the comment of us being contractors. We are not contractors we are actual Kroger employees every single one of our Employees has a @Kroger.com employee email. I hope that this clears some of the things that was possibly told to you by someone else.
As a person who has been an independent contractor though I worked in the United States - I was hired out as a third-party. companies such as let’s save that big computer company with the fruit on it higher out to third-party company independent contractors and they give everyone emails with the company’s email address so that is not a verifiable claim that you are a employee of the company. They tell everyone to state that you are an employee of the company even though you are not. This happens with high fashion companies, Computer companies, companies such as food delivery and grocery delivery and Kroger. So saying that you have a Kroger email does not mean that you are an employee of Kroger.
boost
i signed up for this once and canceled because of the service but i am disabled and do not drive and it is note safe to take the buss so i made the mistake of tiring this again first delivery was fine but the next two horrible fist the address is on the account second i live about 1.5 miles from the store they are trying to delivery somewhere 30 mins away not even the right street then when you call in you get the Philippines or somewhere other than here and they do not care oh so sorry is all you get and it happens again so i canceled again and will just go with Walmart at least they get my orders here and on time and no hassle so you made 60 bucks off of me but no more so sad i loved this company but even when you call the store they just do not care
Desired outcome: would like to not be sent to the Philippines would like the company to care about how their customers are treated but sadly i know these things will not happen
Prescription transfer
My name is Vicki Faber DOB 11/13/1968. I contacted my insurance's preferred pharmacy to transfer my Budesonide RX 6589110 on 12/2/22. The preferred company was told this medication was not on my profile. On 12/5/22 I went to pick up my prescription and was told that the medication was not on my profile. Joy pharmacist, filling in at the New Lexington Kroger pharmacy, The pharmacy tech on for this evening also stated the medication was not on the profile. I called CVS with the RX number to transfer the prescription and the medication was on my profile. You should not have inadequately educated people taking care of such a critical medication for an asthmatic person. Now I am missing 4 doses of medication. I would like to know this will not happen to any other poor soul who doesn't know how to defend themselves. I also am a part of the kroger app for the pharmacy which is a wonderful program and as a registered nurse I recommend this program to a lot of local patrons. I will not be recommending any promotions or services going forward. Which I am a home health nurse taking care of literally thousands locally.
Desired outcome: I appreciate a response
Sackers
Usually I take my groceries to the car and pack in my own bags. Today it is cold and rainy in Little Rock @The Marketplace off Cantrell road. So I brought my bags inside to have them use instead of plastic. As I was getting to walk out the door I noticed my dozen eggs were on their side with an oatmeal box on top of them. Then I wondered where my bananas were…they were in the bottom of bag with my canned foods on top of them. Can you all please train sackers?
Desired outcome: Train packer’s please so they don’t just throw eggs in bags with other items on top! Plus put bananas on top as to not get smashed with canned foods on top of them.
Price not being displayed and always being incorrect for months now in stockbridge.
Have been going into this store and the other near by location on Hudson bridge in stockbridge and the prices are always lower at the shelf and display and sometimes they don't have a price at all, but when you go to check them out and scan them they are always a higher price. For example a coconut says 3.99 but when you ring it up it charges you 4.99 and...
