I was at store at 4506 Brandt Pike in Huber Heights and My cashier was Toby. He was extremely rude. Did not greet me or even looked at me. Threw my cases of water busting some out of the case. Then when he couldn't get my bananas to scan was trying to smash to barcode down on the scanner and then threw them down the line after they scan. He tossed just about every bit of my order down the line after he scanned it. I have never had such a rude experience with one of your employees. I shop Krogers all over the area. This is the first and last time I will shop at this one.
dear co-workers of kroger, and all upper management,
Dear co-workers of kroger, and all upper management,
As some of you know, I have turned in my keys and shirts. But before I leave, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what a great and distinct pleasure it has been to type "today is my last day."
For nearly 2 years now, i've hoped that I might one day leave this job. And now that this dream has become a reality, please know that I could not have reached this goal without your unending lack of support. Words cannot express my gratitude for the words of gratitude you did not express.
I have never left an employer like I did kroger but then again I have never worked for a place that treats their employees as if they do not deserve common courtesy and respect.
I would especially like to thank management: in an age where miscommunication is all too common, you consistently impressed and inspired me with the sheer magnitude of your misinformation, ignorance and intolerance.
Over the past 4 years, you have taught me more than I could ever ask for and, in most cases, ever did ask for. You have given me the chance to work with some absolutely interchangeable managers on a wide variety of seemingly identical projects - an invaluable lesson in enforcing random arbitrary new rules on a nearly weekly basis.
To all of the management members of kroger. Despite working with people that practiced deceptive behavior, backstabbing, incompetence and disrespect, I have benefited tremendously by working with you and I truly thank you for that. Your demands were high and your patience short. I learned that there are actually management members who think it is ok for customers to curse and threaten employees and to not only be rewarded for that behavior, but to be apologized to by the poor employee just trying to do their job. That only encourages the behavior continue. Here is a perfect example of the lack of spine I have encountered in your management staff:
Customer: why can't you take these 8 cans of infant formula? What if I did have a receipt?
Employee: because we have been instructed that we are not allowed to take back infant formula regardless of whether you have a receipt or not.
Customer : I want to speak to the manager.
Employee: pages mr. Brennan. Repeatedly while the customer continues to throw a temper tantrum
Customer: I gonna come over this f'ing counter and whip your fat f'ing [censored]!
Customer continues repeating the same thing over and over. Employee keeps repeating "stop speaking to me, my manager is coming" finally another person on the only open check-lane has to stop waiting on the customers to bring the manager up.
So called manager hears the lady cursing and screaming at the employee. Briefly speaks to the customer and turns to the employee and says "diana i'm going to ask you to apologize to her and give her a gift card"
Seriously? What kind of management member does such a thing?
For the record I refused to apologize even after being told to do so a second time.
He then had another employee apologize to her and give her a gift card.
How much more clear can it be that the people representing management have no regard for the employees?
There was once a time where hard work was rewarded and acknowledged, it's a pity that all positive output now falls on deaf ears and passes blind eyes. My advice for you is to place yourself closer to the pulse of this company, actually spend some time in stores, not in a walk through or audit, they scramble and spend countless overtime hours when there is a group of "suits" coming. If they gave us the tools we need on a daily basis everyone wouldn't be panicking when company is expected because the store would always be acceptable, not just when managers are scared. Care a little more and see the effort and dedication. Maybe then you will be able to achieve far less turnover and happier, competent employees. After all, with your many decades worth of combined work experience should have taught you that happy employees are productive employees.
So, in parting, if I could pass on any word of advice to the lower salary recipient who will soon be filling my position, it would be to cherish this experience because a job opportunity like this comes along only once in a lifetime!
Meaning: if I had to work here again in this lifetime, I would sooner [censored].
service
Me and my boyfriend did grocery shopping for the weekend tonight, 4/27/18 at the location at 3444 Poplar Ave. Because we were shopping for the weekend we had a basket full and when we went to check out there were only 2 lines open (so we thought) and self checkout kiosks. One line was express checkout for 15 items or less so we went to the other line even though the cashier's light was out she was checking out a customer. When approaching her line she told us that we would have to wait until she got bathroom a break so we were forced to use the self checkout. After we reluctantly started to scan items we were stopped by the self checkout attendant. She told us we weren't supposed to scan as many items as we had. I told her that we didn't have a choice because there were no lines available to us. My boyfriend asked her should we stop and after looking around she said no go ahead. She was very nice to us and helped us as much as she could and apologized for the inconvenience. We are working individuals and to have to get off of work to do as much work as we did was absolutely exhausting! Now we have the task of putting all the groceries away and frankly we do not have the energy. I'm assuming that the store was short staffed but that is not our fault. We choice to spend money at your business because we love the products. However, did not feel like valued customers.
kroger pimento cheese spread
I've noticed the last few months this spread is getting very runny after a few uses. I believe that you've cut back on the cheese and added more liquid. That's one way to save money I may have to quit using this product and switch to another company if I'm not satisfied. After just eating a sandwich made with this product I noticed my shirt had cheese drippings all over it. This is not acceptable.
clicklist
I had used Clicklist for an order on 03/05, gave my debit card, paid, picked up the order with no issues. I liked the service on on 03/07 decided to place another order. I had a reservation slot for 03/08 and had to confirm the order before midnight to keep that slot. I had a work conflict for the scheduled time slot so I did not confirm or pick up the order. The order was still in my shopping card on 03/08 so I was going to reschedule. On 03/09 while checking my bank account, I seen where I was charged $93.71 for the order that I never picked up. I called customer service many times, the store, nobody had the order or any info on it. I tried to dispute the charge, contacted my lawyer today who said to call the store for a receipt confirming the order. The store said they do not have one, it has been too long now. This process started on 03/08/2018. How can you charge for an order that was never processed or picked up and have no records on it? I have told everyone I know about this experience and will never use Kroger again. I use Walmart and can see everthing I have ever ordered on their website and when the orders were processed and picked up, why can't you do that? I now have to go a legal route.
birthday cake
On the day of April 26th 2018 I went to the new Kroger in Clifton ..Cincinnati Ohio to order my daughters birthday cake and get a few things for the barbecue we are planning on Saturday. When me and my family arrived at the store we went straight to the bakery to order the cake. When we arrived at the bakery there was no one behind the counter so we looked through the birthday cake book while we waited still no one arrived. So after 10 or 15 minutes of waiting we decided to go ahead and shop for the things we needed at the barbecue and come back when we're done. 35 minutes later we come back to the counter at the bakery and still no one is there we then wait an additional 20 minutes before we go try and find someone that can help us. There were two employees in the deli one of them went to look for her ..he came back and told us that she was upstairs baking cookies and she will be down shortly. Wee-Man where did an additional 10 more minutes before we decided to go look for someone again this time we had a customer service page the manager named Jeff to come assist us. During the wait for Jeff to come and assist us, i looked up and saw what I assumed to be a manager with a white shirt on a red keychain around his neck and a bag of potato chips or popcorn in his left hand eating and walking through the store. Before I could tell my daughter's mother to check with him maybe he's a manager he was already out of my sight. 7 to 8 minutes later the guy that I saw walking through the store eating a bag of chips which I assume to be the manager walks up to us and and come to find out he is the manager name Jeff. So he was basically walking through the store eating a bag of chips ignoring the constant back-to-back paging for his service needed back in the bakery and when I confronted him about walking through the store ignoring the page and eating the chips in front of customers he looked me in the eye and told me a bold-faced lie and said no he wasn't and said he doesn't recall that...wow.. so when he comes over he has this nonchalant attitude about what's going on. (Like really am i being punkd or something? ) so simultaneously the woman thats working in the bakery on this day at that time( heavier younger black woman didn't get her name) came down off the elevator and said she was upstairs on her break and that they were short-handed. I Politely explained to her how I've already been there before and frequently glanced over at the counter to check while we were shopping in that vicinity and came back after we were done with our shopping and still no one was behind the counter. She basically shrugged me off as did the manager .. 5 to 10 seconds later a different customer walks up behind me and tries to get the attention of the bakery attended ..the bakery attendant then ignores me in mid conversation while trying to order my daughter's birthday cake and precedes to begin to offer her services to the other customer. That's when I can admit I did get a little angry and raised my voice a little bit telling them that was not the proper customer service and this is the first time I have had this problem at Kroger and I was very shocked that business was taking place in this manner especially at a brand new facility such as this one.. I know you're probably reading this thinking this is the end of the story but it's not. So after all of that waiting and waiting seeing the manager walking pass, finding out that was the manager who was walking past ignoring the page, explaining to the bakery attendant how long we were waiting with no one behind the counter.. when we went to the front register to pay for the cake we had to take the receipt back yo the bakery..once we took the receipt back to the bakery once again was no one behind the bakery counter and the bakery attendant was nowhere in sight... show the young lady over in the deli seeing what was going on and shaking her head she offered to take the receipt and go upstairs and give it to the bakery attended herself because she seen that we were not getting the proper customer service... so at the end of the day this was a very unprofessional, time-wasting experience for me and my family at Kroger ...unfortunately
kroger lemon lime seltzer water 12 pack
I buy almost 20 twelve packs of kroger brand lemon lime seltzer water a week and when I got a can out yesterday it was closed and only half full if that, I still have the can of water in case I need to prove it to any one as well. I mean I pay enough for the twelve pack as it is I shouldn't have to deal with one not being packed right or made right.
out of stock sale items
I went to your store on Saturday night around 8pm to buy groceries for the week. You were completely out of the 99 cent cereal and ground beef patties! I realize that the sign says while supplies last but this is ridiculous. I would assume you have the expertise to order enough product to make sure you can satisfy the customer. Carrying over some product from a sale is not that bad of a thing, maybe it is, I don't know. You should take care of the customer, not your inventory levels. Then to top it off I went to buy a non sale item, Silk Almond Milk, and you were out of that also. I was completely wasting my time. I had planned on buying a weeks worth of groceries but ended up buying four items and left disgusted. When I checked out the cashier asked me if I had found everything I was looking for and I told her no, you were out of everything I came for. She was very nice and I told her it wasn't her fault. Then she asked me if I would like to donate to breast cancer research, which I found ironic, because I was at a function all day dealing with that. I guess I should change my schedule to your stocking schedule so I can guarantee getting your sake items! Not good! I'm disgusted!

I’m with you on this...this makes two saturdays in a row that we have been in the store at 10am and out of the sale items... not good... Kroger has their own distribution warehouse, not third party, and if the items on sale should be ordered to cover their customer base. If you can look at what is on or what i buy on my card, you should be able to see what I want, and what the other customers are going to get. Order to cover the customer base.. If not there is a Wal-Mart across the street... They cook their chickens and have them out of oven at 11am, so if I want to get the limited items on sell I would have to go to the store at 6am and go home then return at 11am to finish shopping ? Not going to happen... Like I stated, this marketing is driving us to Tom Thumb or Wal-Mart ... We have been a Kroger shopper since store in Little Elm opened ... before shopper at Frisco... If attention to this matter is not taken I will be the first to cut and mail my card to Kroger...
I can tell you are from New York! This is Texas Bud... If you cant make your point without trying to belittle everyone, go away! God Bless ...
You don't have a clue
your employee keeps texting me while at work!!
[protected]
I do believe it's against company policy for your employees to be on their phones while working. Well one of your employees, Angela Acito; continues to text me while at work. She does this daily and continues to harass me with her typical nonsense. I made a complaint against her before about a year ago to the MOD. She feels your rules don't apply to her so she continues to do this while at work. I would like for her to stop bothering me everyday with this crap. She is also a drug user and should be tested for marijuana. Whenever she run out, she makes it a point to send me harassing text.
I have plenty of text to confirm that this happens daily. All you have to do is ask to see them.
Just block the person you dolt
Unfortunately it's not that easy! And why do you think it's ok to call people names?
Yes it is that easy. And I call dumb when I see dumb
corned beef hash canned.
bar code on cans 18kr8726601. when i opend this can i nearly vommited. this on half inch thick crust of fat alone was disgusting enough, but the produst was the consistency of oatmeal and could be poued out. i did cook it and ate it, but shouldnt have as i spent the night in the bathroom throwing up. I grew up on kroger brands and always had good luck with them but that is all over. i still have a few cans of this slop and dont know what to do with them. maybe just throw it away to be safe. i would welcome any other ideas how to solve this problem. i live on social security and to throw out more than $5 dollars in food would break me nearly.
Sincerely

I bought this card for my guest from India. I loaded the card with $500/- for his use while he is travelling outside of Dallas. When he tried to activate the card, Netspend says he is not eligible to use this card because they are not able to verify his identity. They say he does not have a US social security number and an address, so he cannot use the card. They asked us to return the card for a refund.
But the store is refusing to refund. I bought this card because no where in the store or on the card it says it is non refundable. The signs in the store says non refundable only to the gift cards. Please review the situation and arrange the refund ASAP. I don't want to use the product because every time I get on a call with Netspend it takes at least 30 mins.in my opinion Netspend products are not good and their disclosures are not accurate and misleading. I have been in a lot of inconvenience. I bought the card in Prosper so that I can use it anywhere I go, The Kroger store in Houston refused refund and asked me to go back to the store where I bought. I am back in Prosper for a refund But Mr. Taylor at the store is refusing the refund. I am stuck with $500.00.
Good Afternoon,
We are sorry that you were not able to get a refund at the store. Please contact us at social@netspend.com along with your phone number and we will be happy to assist you with a refund.
Thanks,

store incident
I was grocery shopping on Sunday 04/01/2018. At the location Address: 3612 N Belt Line Rd, Irving, TX 75062 Phone: [protected]. On aisle 17 I reached for a pan the shelf was right in front of me so about 4 feet high. As soon as I grabbed the pan the entire shelf which is metal as you know along with everything on the shelf fell on top of me. I Fell backwards on my head and right side. 3 people that was on the aisle saw it and went for help. They then went to get a manager. The manager and associate helped me off the floor, put me in a mechanical chair transferred my food and gave me ice for my head and shoulder. My leg was in pain at that time as well. He then took my statement and advised me that they would cover any medical bills. As they shelf was leaning and I did not notice it due to all the things on the shelf per the manager. He asked did I need an ambulance I said no it hurts but I think I'll be ok. I then paid for my food no one helped me put my food on the counter no one help me load them to my car. I had to call my husband for help. I then came home to lay down and got really dizzy scared of a concussion I immediately went to the ER. They hospital did x-rays and advised I had minor head injury, and that my exam showed shoulder pain due to tendonitis, bursitis surrounding my joints. The manager didn't do a full or a proper incident report he wrote two sentences on a piece of paper! I Shop at Kroger twice weekly for all my groceries. This is insane that due to your neglect to keep the aisle safe! I'm at home in pain. Then to make it all worse some lady calls me asking how I am doing ask about my leg, I advised her no I felt like I was hit by a bus you have no clue how heavy that shelf is. And everything on the shelf fell on top of me, then she says we can't accept responsibility off top. Wrong way to start a conversation! She never apologized to me she was concerned about you not accepting responsibility. KROGER will accept responsibility! As I advised her I was on aisle 17 and there is a camera on that aisle. Review the footage! I will not let Kroger get over on me and I spend lots of money in this store on a weekly basis as I live 5minutes away. Now I did not unscrew the shelf an throw it on myself! This is crazy how no one helped with my grocers on check out and to my car I had to call my husband. Then I get a call saying you aren't excepting responsibility yet. Why not call me once the footage has been viewed? There was a camera on isle 17! You have done nothing but cause me heart ache and pain! Then she says I'll be reimbursed after I pay the bill. This metal shelf could have fell on an elderly woman or a child! This was a metal shelf fell on me as I just grabbed a pan off the shelf (which I paid for) this was in no way my fault! The shelf had to be already off the hinges for this to fall on top of me! You are supposed to have someone check these isles throughout the day, had this been done this would not have happened. There is no way I unscrewed the shelf on both sides moved everything off the shelf to do this then placed everything back on the shelf then made it fall on me! I have never experienced anything like this where the customer who comes every Sunday and Friday spends hundreds of dollars. Now I'm sitting in bed with neck and severe lower back pain and shoulder pain, I'm on medication because of Kroger this was on Easter I missed work! And enjoying the holiday with my children! The lady called to take my statement I did let her know I was heavily medicated at the time, she was rude an inconsiderate. The only thing she said was there are no cameras on that isle and I said yes there is! Now the fact they don't work is not my problem! Why am I being blamed? And I was just grocery shopping. She made it seem as if I did this to myself. No Kroger neglect to keep the isles safe this is in no way my fault. I advised her the pain meds are keeping me stable I didn't need therapy but I'm now out of the medication Tylenol 3 and the other muscle relaxer I was given that does not work on my pain. And my lower back neck and shoulder is in extreme pain. I advised the lady from Kroger I was not seeing further treatment due to the medication was helping deal with the pain, but as of today I have no more meds and the pain is unbearable. The muscle relaxer I was given to take after the Tylenol 3 was gone which is today has not worked at all for my pain. I did not plan to seek further therapy as I assumed the muscle relaxer would work and they are not. I did email her to advise and ask what should I do she has not responded. I'm now experiencing headaches So I'm now in pain and have run out of options for my pain.

I honestly wanted a Rottweiler so bad. Speaking with her sending me photos. I honestly thought she was legit. I live far from her. So I got my 1st rott unfortunately after a week . It was too much for me . We had a death in the family and I gave her to a friend. 9 months later I got another from her . I did find it strange both times her name wasn't on the form. So anyway I was so excited and happy. She was perfect my rott . I was concerned cause she had a lump which I was told that happens with the cord from the mom it happens so did a vet confirmed this. My baby girl was amazing. At age 2 she was so sick looked like red wine pouring out her , well u know. She was hospitalized for 2 days costing over 3 grand . Only thing that showed up was Pancreatis. We got through it. July 2020 . I found out she now has lymphoma. 19 months of Chemo. Went into remission and back again then 2 more treatments and back again. My 4 kids are devastated and I'm a wreck. This may not be her fault or it might be. I don't know. I will never get another animal from her ever again. My Maze won't even see her 6th birthday March 13 . I wonder if anyone else's litter from her has any problems. I am so heartbroken 💔. I just can't the tears are constantly non stop
i'm complaining about an employee in the pharmacy at the paris texas store
The employee name is Amber S. Every time I come thru the pharmacy she is rude and argumentative. Making inappropriate comments about the cost of my prescriptions. She is just rude and I'm now about to move my daughter's prescriptions to Wal-Mart because of her. I've used Kroger pharmacy for years but for the last few months I've had nothing but trouble from this girl. I'm very upset by the attitude and the service I receive when she is involved
sweetwater variety beer pack
On 3/31/18 I bought a pack of variety Sweetwater beer from Kroger- 455 Grayson Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Number: [protected]
I was coming home from a trip, so this Kroger is quite a long way away from me, or else I would go back and tell them the issue myself. So, I opened a bottle a couple of days ago and thought it tasted off. I opened another with the same weird taste. I looked at the expiration date on the box, and it said 3/28/18...please note I purchased this beer on 3/31/18. My beer was $8.99 plus tax, so I would either like a full refund in the form of a coupon/gift card that adds up to or over the amount I paid.

kroger 12 oz cans seltzer water
My son had a situation occur last night 04/15/2018. Last can in the 12 pack. Unshaken, kept at room temperature (70 degrees), pulled the tab to open, and exploded sending the aluminum flap that's suppose to push downward, flying upwards, hit the ceiling and ricochet somewhere in the kitchen. Still haven't found that piece yet, and YES, sounded like a gun going off. It sliced the under part of his thumb. Not enough to be stitched, but bled pretty darn good! What if that shrapnel had caught his eye? Thank God it didn't! That incident was extremely dangerous, and should have a value attached to it! Anyone else out there have a similar story?
help at the self checkout
Hello, I would like to share my experience while checking out at the self checkout on 4/14/2018 at 07:59am.
I asked the Lady working in the checkout, her name is Kelly if she had a hand scanner to scan my 2 cases of water. She was very rude, she picked up a case and scan it stating that this is how everyone else does it. She was not very nice, and I felt that I was asking her too much if she had a scanner.
She also said that she do not normally work in this area, and do not know how to use a hand held scanner. How is it possible to have someone working in an area where a hand held scanner is required if needed.
I said I am sorry I always asked for a scanner. You see I am a 80% disable Vet. My right shoulder is in constant pain. I am on Meds, and also receive deep tissue steroid shots for the pain every 6 to 8 months. It is very difficult to pick up a case of water and try to scan it.
I felt like she think I need to be like everyone else who can pick up a case of water and scan it at the same time. It was a challenge just to load it in the shopping cart.
If only she knew that I spent 25 years in the Army, 6 Wars, 12 Deployments, got shot at. But what I am suppose to do, tell every Kroger employee at the self checkout that I am a disable vet and show them my VA Disability Card. I did went to customer service in the store after it happened and talk to the lady there, and showed her my VA Disability card.
I thought Kroger was a customer friendly place to shop, but now I am having a hard time trying to figure it out.
The cashier Kelly was CHEC 501, according to my receipt.

this chick needs to be fired
On the Kroger located on 5341 Highway 20 South, Covington, GA 30016 has an employee named Deanna and she is very rude and manipulative. She's a bully who picks and choses who she thinks is soft or weak. She constantly stares daggers at my niece who has done nothing to her and treats her like she's stupid. She's nice to everyone else in our party but my...
