The hotel room in and of itself.
My husband and I checked into our hotel late at night, & the room was disgusting. There was what looked like blood splatters around the room, stains on the sheets, a dead roach in the middle of the floor, a bug in the room, and so much more. By far the worst hotel. And when we went to ask for a refund, the front desk told us to call in the morning because she didn't know what she was doing.

Taking unauthorized transactions off my card over a month later from when I stayed there
I stayed at the la Quinta in Lancaster pa around June 9th and they tried to say my room smelled like smoke well yeah I just walked in from smoking so a month later they take $121 off my card on July 9th and now another $115 on July 11 they have no reason to keep taking money off my card I didn't authorize any transactions! Front desk service was rude disrespectful She asked if my dog would pee in the carpet. Understand this property is a pet friendly hotel and our dog is a very well Trained Service Dog.
She told me all dog owners must stay in the first floor. I asked for the rules and regulations of the property, she never showed them to me. The
First floor is a noise floor due to the vicinity of the pool.
I encountered a person with a dog at the second floor and asked him if the received the same treatment we received and his response was,
If I would have been treated like you were treated, I would have moved to another hotel.

Next day my husband asked for a Room change.
The front desk person was wearing mask and was behind a glass which made difficult to understand her. In lieu of this, my husband asked her to repeat what she was saying and as response to his request she grabbed from her purse a megaphone and used towards him. The ONLY REQUEST WE WERE MAKING WAS FOR A CLEAN ROOM!
The head of the housekeeping crew named THELMA ended up helped us finding a clean room with a mattress that does not stench and was not FULL OF BUMPS. She was respectful and helpful as well
I understand anybody can have a bad day but the person greeting guests at the front desk must realize it's representing A BRAND.
In our case the rudeness and disrespectfulness was not caused by us. We waited in line with patience but regardless it was our turn she decided to take care of everyone else regardless these guests were not waiting in the line.. we have NEVER EVER experience such situation in any hotel in the states or abroad.
By the way, we have been coming to this property for 8 Years and have never experienced such unacceptable treatment. Au contraríe, the service was flawless.

On July 10, 2021 I reserved and stayed at the Laquinta Inns and Suites. Before I went to shower I noticed the shower was not clean. Hair was in the soap before I even used the shower. I have braids so this did not come from me. I went downstairs to inform the clerk and he had someone to come and half clean the shower. While the guy was suppose to clean the shower left the shower with hair on the soap dish and used shampoo on the toilet. Totally, not satisfied because Laquinta was one of my favorite hotels but now I have to inspect my room as soon as I check in.

Stayed from7/6-7/11. 1st thing I was there with children and the pool was closed. (wish we knew that at booking website states pool is open) Get room key and open the door and smell of wet clothes hits you in the face, go back to the counter and he said I knew I wouldn't be happy had housekeeping show us 3 rooms picked another room it was ok, I bring Lysol and spray everything and wipe so I know it was ok. Bathroom is disgusting but I already changed the room didn't want to make a big deal I just cleaned it myself. Woke up the next day and I was making the beds I slept on a pillow with a HUGE blood stain! I freaked I was so mad at myself because I sprayed all the pillows and I didn't even see it but the pillow case moved and I seen it the next day so grossed out! Went to the desk and they moved me to another room. It is what it is we are here for a concert all rooms everywhere have no vacancy. The black mold everywhere! We have been to other hotels by La Quinta had no issues we booked this 6 months ago didn't think we would have an issue but this was the worst stay ever!

Hotel was horrible and disgusting. Rooms not done hallway fire doors locked, dogs barking no to very poor outside lighting . Huge holes in ceiling leaking what appear to be sewage water based on smell. No doors locked so anyone could access hotel without a key. Rooms smell of mold and smoke phone did not work . Yesterday, July 5, I made a reservation at the La Quinta on 4th st. N in St Petersburg, FL, for one night in order to ride out Tropical Storm/Hurricane Elsa. I called a reservation line from a website called pet-friendly hotels and requested two rooms for myself, my daughter, and my two granddaughters -- and my dog. I know that La Quinta has always been a pet-friendly hotel, so imagine my surprise when I arrived today to check in and was told that my dog would NOT be allowed in the hotel. What? The clerk was extremely unpleasant about the situation and told me that I had booked through Expedia and would have to call them since they could not refund me since I booked through a third-party. I then called Expedia and was told that they contacted the hotel and were told that the penalties would not be waived and nor would I get a refund through La Quinta since I should have known that dogs are no longer allowed at La Quinta hotels. Luckily, I was able to get rooms at the Holiday Inn Express (with a free breakfast) who made an exception to their service-dog only policy due to the fact the we were under a state of emergency due to the storm. Frankly, I am disgusted at your level of service and will NEVER stay at a La Quinta or any other Wyndham Hotel again. It is unacceptable that I am still supposed to pay for something due to false advertising and poor customer service.

We visited the la Quinta inn in south Burlington Vermont. I was super exited to get an outside pool and one of the Main reasons I picked this hotel. We got there and our key only worked like ever 18 tried. The oool was ice cold and had not be cleaned in a few weeks. The tv remote didn't work and told they didn't have another. Hair dryer didn't work and the th rest for the plug in was broke. This hotel ruined a romantics weekend for me.

Realizing that I had an early morning appointment at the VA in Pueblo Colorado, we thought "my wife and I", that it would be nice to get out of town and relax in the pool and hot tub and get away from home for a while so we ventured to Pueblo, from Trinidad Colorado a 208 mile round-trip ….not knowing there was a tennis tournament in town and all hotel rooms were booked up, I looked online and was able to secure the last room at your La Quinta suites in Pueblo Colorado. After taking all the luggage in we noticed a nasty smell in the room, Searching for the smell I opened up the closet door and told my wife it smells like rotten cheese, that's when she noticed there was dog feces all over inside the closet, now the smell was rancid, it should've been noticed by the maids for the odor was so putrid and strong…. This is where my problems started after trying to book the room online for over 45 minutes on the trip to pueblo Colorado finding the feces I went to the front desk. That's when I found out about the tennis match, there were no other available rooms in Pueblo. Iwas told my money would be refunded, which I've seen no refund for my $270 room which I think is ridiculous.I then, not wanting to make the trip back home, drove around Pueblo Colorado for another two hours searching for any other hotel with an available room. Not finding one, we decided to head home. On the way home there's a town called Colorado city which we ended up staying in, at the still ridiculous price of $137, ridiculous for that area. To make a long story short, I drove 104 miles each way, I want my phones charged for the room refunded to me, for the aggravation time, gas and not to mention frustration, , , I was going to the VA for an appointment for PTSD, I would like to be compensated thank you…you can contact me via text message or email, my email address is Robert Vanover [protected]@iCloud.com. Hello, we stayed at the la quinta inn in corpus christi on 1551 I 37 north... It was the worst experience ever, first of all, no one ever told us that we had to request room service, so 2 days we were without fresh bedding, fresh towles, nothing, we talked to the front office, she was not very nice about it what so ever.. I dont remember the name, but she was young... Then another 2 days went by, and my daughter found a bed bug crawling on her pillow.. We immidatley called the front desk, they said they were sending maintence up to look at it, well he was suuuper nice, applogiezed and confirmed it was a bedbug... And he said to talk to the office, well, this time i took my husband with me.. When we told her it was a bed bug, she acted like it was nothing and its happend before, no omg i am so sorry, no omg, what can i do, NOOOTHING.. All she said was that we could not stay in that room, and that she did not have anything available, if she was a good employee she would have made damn sure she would find us another room at another laquinta... She did refund us the entire stay, however, we had to cut our well deserved vacation short.. I can guarentee you, i will never ever stay with laquinta and its has already been YELPD, if they had a [- star, i would have given it to the feed back, never again, and shame on you for running such a crappy buisness..
Theft!
I am complaining about my stay at your hotel in Macon Georgia. I was robbed when I left my room to walk my dog. I refused housecleaning so there was no reason for them to be in my room. They took my money $200, my BMW keys and my new Nike shoes that were hidden in my room. Your manager Dianna Self did not make it right at all. After reading the Yelp reviews this happens all the time. I was there to take a nursing exam and couldn't make it because my keys were taken. I had to pay someone $500 to come get my girlfriend, back home to Cumming, Ga to get my extra key set. I feel this was an inside job with housekeeping because my Nike shoes where hidden and they knew I walked my dog in the morning. I have a video of how easy it was to break into my room. I have to get an new set of keys to my car which is 500, change the locks in my apartment $50, I feel I should also get 2, ooo for my mental anguish, $500 for keys, another 1, 000 to have to re-register for my nursing exam!
The cops were called, I have a police report.

Since when did La Quinta start charging extra for having a dog? We have traveled all over the US for many years and stayed in many La Quintas BUT this June (2021) we got $20 tacked on at one La Quinta in Hilliard, Ohio and got hit again for an extra dog fee in Sharonville, Ohio. We don't mind putting down a big deposit as long as it is refundable since our dog never has problems staying in rooms. But suddenly switching out the dogs stay free policy to a "surprise, your dog now pays!" policy is not a good one. If this continues we will begin to stay in other hotels available. La Quinta always got our top priority for years because of their great pet-friendly policy of no extra fees. We stay on the road for a month at a time but now we will widen our search. Also, the La Quinta in Mansfield, Ohio had no TV for two days straight and their laundry washer & dryer were out of order so all the guests were doing washing and drying in their rooms. Really?
Room rental dirty
Well I'm sitting in The dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. Chips and popcorn in the chairs. The drain is clogged in the tub. It was Full of other people's hair. Pop all over the mirror. Finger nail clippings on the floor. Zero room service for 4 days Asked for some compensation got a big nope from the desk. Stuck here another 2 days! I paid the money and held up my part of the deal but La Quinta didn't do their part and I'm still sitting in a dirty room.
What is more concerning is that we traveled here with a team and we have multiple teammates that are stuck in the same situation. Our room and many others we rented to us in unsanitary and unsafe conditions. The front desk openly admitted that many rooms were not cleaned due to employees quitting but yet they still allowed us to check into a place that wasn't clean safe or sanitary. Absolutely Disgusting and Disappointing are words that have to be used in this case. I look forward to coming to a resolution in this matter.

Unacceptable service
Here is the email I sent to manager (Sam Patel) on 05/23/2021 and have received no correspondence from him.
Mr. Patel;
On Thursday night (May 13th) we checked into your Collinsville establishment for a one night stay. The room we were assigned was on the 3rd floor right next to the elevator. The dinging of the elevator bell kept us awake most of the night and definitely earlier in the morning that we could handle. When having morning coffee, the elevator quit working stranding someone inside. We checked out 20 minutes later and the individual was still stranded. Four days later (May 17th) we returned for another nights stay. We checked in a couple of hours early and were charged a $20 early check-in fee even though the room was vacant and ready. This policy seemed quite unreasonable to us. We also found that the elevator STILL was not working so we had to carry all our luggage up to our 3rd floor room. Not a pleasant task for folks in their 70's. The room we were assigned was right next to the door to the stairs which was the only way in or out of the 3rd floor. The foot traffic kept us awake most of the night and very early in the morning. And when we were ready to check out, the elevator was STILL out of order so we had to carry all our luggage down 3 flights of stairs. During that stay, the tv remote would not work properly, the refrigerator would not keep our beverages cold, there was only one washcloth in the bathroom and the bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Besides that, the water pressure in the sink (on both stays) was absolutely unacceptable. This was not the kind of service we expected from this establishment. Because of that, we are requesting a refund for the night of May 17th.

Our room was ready 45 minutes after check in time. They had 3 burnt light bulbs in our room. The tv did not work and to top it off we did not have a key to our room we was told at the front desk if we leave just to go get them to unlock our room thats very unprofessional and inconvient. We travel alot and never experienced so much incoveince. I would not stay here again .
This took place on June 16, 2021 we had planned to stay annother night but we are checking out in the morning. I would like a refund because we paid for a nightmare.

Confirmation number 89021EC084843, I was told that the room would be cancelled at no charge and that was a lie. It has been almost 4 wks and no refund has been given. When you call the phone number there is never anyone to answer. I will never book another room with this hotel.

Book the hotel with expedia May 8, 2021 - was not informed of any renovations going on at the hotel at this time.
Check in at LaQuinta in Bridgeport Friday at 4:00 p.m. had to drive to the back and go in the back door due to construction in the front. The office was located in room 106 by the back door. The back door was taped open so it did not lock day or night. We talk about getting another hotel but a pressed for time. We get our room and quickly unload to go to a graduation. We do not return until 11:00 p.m. that night to find there is no hot water. I call the front desk and she said it will be working the next morning [protected]. I also inquire about the wifi password and she said no password just log in. I could never get it to log in that night. We get up in the morning still no hot water. Take cold shower and get ready to leave walk down to talk to the manager and there are 5 more people in line to complain about no hot water and other issues. We are leaving the hotel for the day and the manager said the hot water is now working. The girl in the office said they would be giving a credit on the room for the inconvenience. We have more graduation activities and do not get back till 10:30 p.m. If we had know earlier we would have found another hotel but when we got back Still NO HOT WATER and we had a note under our door stating that there was a pipe break and there would not be no fire sprinklers for 24 hrs and someone would be walking up and down the hallways every hr to check for smoke. At 4:00 a.m. the smoke detector goes off and I call the office and she said it was someone smoking pot in the stairwell and had cancelled the fire dept. It went off again shortly after that again. We get up [protected] still no hot water and I go talk to the manager but no manager is in the make shift office room. We are checking out of the hotel and there was no credit applied to the bill and was told that someone would call me Monday May 31, 2021. No call so I call the hotel and they offered $15.00 off per night but that does not seem like a fair amount off considering that this hotel was not in working order. I have called the LaQuinta customer service to make the complaint, we will see what they will do.
