• I was holding Mashreq "Etisalat Credit Card and I have been a regular (high usage) customer of the bank for the past so many years and makes the payment much before the due date
• During end of June, Mashreq Bank has sent an SMS, Mashreq-Etisalat card has been cancelled with Immediate effect.. They don't bother to inform the customer in advance that the credit card will be cancelled effective from so and date in order for the customer to plan in advance to use the other credit card.
• No SMS /Call/Email from the Mashreq bank on the outstanding amount.
• On 05th oct 2017, I have received a recorded call on my mobile, there is an amount outstanding. From 09th of oct 2017, I am getting a recorded call on alternative day basis on the outstanding amount. Till that time no calls
• Called them back to check what is the issue and why there is a charge
• Call center informed there was a usage of credit card for AED 340 before the cancellation and penalty of AED 780 of not payment before the due date .
• When I countered them why there are no calls/SMS from Mashreq bank for the outstanding dues, they were saying email were sent to my email address, which I have not received unfortunately. I tried to explain them about my credit worthiness, history of payment on time .
• The issue lies on Mashreq for not informing the customer on time which they are not willing to agree inspite of calls to many call center staff .
• I don't mind the outstanding amount, however I didn't expect Mashreq Bank to behave in an unprofessional/unethical way of collecting money from the customer.. It tantamount to cheating/begging for money from the customer.
• I would appreciate if mashreq bank calls and resolve this issue asap [protected])

We submitted the revised LC documents (Commercial Invoice and Packing List) on Thursday 12th October 2017 for onward submission to Access Bank, UK.
Later I was following up for the courier tracking number for the dispatched of documents through email and WhatsApp message and later got an email on Tuesday 17th Oct providing the DHL tracking number.
It has taken almost 3 working days to dispatched the documents, which has delayed the receipt of our funds from the LC applicant.
Your customer service is very poor and responsive to calls or emails are taking longer time.
We are only wondering why we should continue banking with Mashreq Bank, when their service is so bad and crap.
not cancelled my credit bureau
This is satish babu working as a pharmacist in aster pharmacy applied a personel loan but due to salary deduction issues I cancelled my loan application but still the ethihad system is showing that I have a loan with mashreq bank and not able to proceed in other banks also so please cancel my credit beuro immediately and provide me the confirmation of cancellation it has been a long time I cancelled my loan application still why it is showing in ethihad system making problem with other proceedings such a bad service totally iam not satisfied with mashreeq services so immediately take action and cancel my credit beuro and give the clearance letter immediately. Mashreq have done the exact same thing with me. Personal loans and credit cards were paid in full around 3 months before. They have still not updated the credit bureau. This behavior by a major bank in UAE is inexcusable. When you owe them 3 dhs they will hunt you down until you pay. Apparently process works only one way in their favour. Dont go near them.

I requested to close my credit card 10 working days ago, but received no call from the head office in egypt to start the process.
I called the customer service 9 times and got the same feedback every time which is head office will call you, and as usual no one called, this is the worst customer service I have ever seen and the worst bank to deal with.

I am using the Mashreq Credit card. I am planning to cancelling the card. But last month I am in confuess to split up the amount the amount for paying 36 months. But the interest came to know in the bill its around 15000 AED. Now I am not in position to pay the spilit amount. Now I am in position to cancel the card with the whatever used in the card. But for the customer care they are accepting to cancel the card and talking to me as like threading me.
Please do the helpful to cancel the card with interest with the whatever amount used in the card.

I am strongly unhappy with mashreq bank credit card and going to cancel it. This is a horrible credit card compared to other banks. Problems like, non-transparency of the transactions, no toll free number to call the customer care, long queue to get connected to the customer care number (payable customer care), high service charge for non AED transactions, regular disturbance from mashreq promotional calls to your mobile, mobile app is very poor, and moreover mashreq is keen to grab your huge money in case of any small ignorance of any terms and conditions, mashreq bank sales agents giving false information(they will say mashreq bank is the only credit card that provides access to marhaba lounge but the fact is it is free to all mastercard holders)...there are a lot more reason that mashreq credit card is the worst credit card in UAE

I opened new account with masherq after i spend 48 hours waiting their call because they don't want to tell me what papers are required. i got the Iban and i requested The HR to transfer my salary to this Iban. they transferred to my account 22 of august and up to know 17-Sep-2017 all mashreq team don't know why my money didn't hit the account yet, knowing that they (the Bank) sent me a swift copy mentioning that they received it August 22nd !.
No body is calling me to tell me what is the issue one time they told me that there's a missing paper so i asked to know what i can provide for them but they don't know,
even the Moroccan lady named Elham (working now in al qooz Branch ) is the one who opened my account for me, she's not answering me anymore while the call center asking me to speak to her !.
this is so bad- actually when i see all this complain here and no body replied that shows how much they are not professional.
negative cash limit even I didn't withdraw in my credit card
I made a purchase in onyx on aug 31, 2017 with a purchase receipt amounting to 6253 but suddenly the bank charge me as the customer service tell me with the interest and they make my cash limit to -853 as they are telling that i make a cash advance, onyx is not only for exchange we can pay airlines fees and salik or etc and whatsover its not the business of the bank as long i have a purchase receipt as evidence..if i want a cash advance i can withdaw with my creditcard which im not stupid to do so because ur interest is too high, i am customer for 9 years of mashreq and i feel very bad about it, where i can show my receipt as purchase? then reverse all the charges u made to my account and make my cash limit not negative, its so disappointing, ill just finish all my dues and for sure ill transfer to other bank because of this kind of service, kindly inform me where i can present my evidence that its a purchase receipt...i am jainielyn villar and my email add is [protected]@gmail.com

I am the gold customer of Mashreq Bank and also been provided solitaire card and my salary is regularly going to the Bank.
I am not the guy who believe in plastic money but a month back when i used the card and was insulted in shop as my card came declined and when i called customer care they informed its in frmu dept and temporary block by bank.
It's been a month and i am tired calling customer care who dont even talk politely and behave like i have done some crime.
I am most welcomed by other bank since i am the priority client and working as General manager in IT company of Dubai.
how can a reputed bank is so irresponsible who cant even resolve the issue, even if they have any doubt, they should resolve it and work on it instead block and sit on it and spoil customer relation.
I am definitely moving to other bank and move my salary soon but thought to write you guys the incident.

system issues & unreliable & worst customer service
1. Unreliable system
Firstly, I owned Etisalat Signature Credit Card with AED1, 000 joining fee, then it is cancelled after being used less than 6 months by the bank because of their internal system issues.
2. Always providing inaccurate information
More than 3 weeks I have followed up an encountered with some rude staffs ( I can say there was only 1 from 5 is professional), finally I got replaced by the Platinum Credit Card which is normally free for 1st year (but being told it is upgraded). Staff promised that I will get the annual fee I spent for my previous card refunded in my new card, but nothing till now. Whenever I tried to check with call center, they kept giving me different information. Asking to wait for a call back but have never had anybody calling back
3. Rude staff and untrustworthy
This is the 2nd time I have to submit a complaint to Mashreq about their customer service. They have no improvement. Customer service is the worst while the other 3 local banks I have used are good. The survey system is not reliable. I don't know how it works but staff can opt to hang up without allowing you to participate the survey. Sometimes system does accept only positive feedback when I tried to rate for negative score, the system did not accept.
Recommend not to use Mashreq service. Firstly I applied a card for this bank because I wanted to help the agent (which gave me wrong info about the card benefits as well) to close his target and I now feel fully regret.

But the beneficiary didn't received the amount till now, before this i visited to mashreq bank branch located in dragon mart 2 and Emirates NBD in dragon mart 1 but in vain. They told me that you should have a Swift letter which you should to received through email or through msg from online bank. Dear sir from last 2 weeks i m looking for solution. I just notice all this issue when I want to get a no liability letter on Mashreq Bank. Since I pay all the remaining credit on my new card. # [protected]
I already went to Mashreq Bank main office and check, how all this thing happened. They show me every thing that on MARCH 27, 2014
I activate the upgraded new card & what happened next on MARCH 28, 2014 the old card generate a statement and not transfer or carried out to the new card.
To make the story short, My concern & question is how this interest of 142.89 A.E.D was not carried out in my upgraded card?
Now the collection department is dealing with me & they want me to pay what ever the credit limit on my card that I have to pay it, for example the limit is 5300 A.E.D I have to pay this amount and I will able to get clearance letter.
I want the answer from the bank how this thing happen. But all the complain that I am raising from call center was keep on coming back to collection department
I am not delinquent customer, In fact you can trace all my record & payment history on my card. I don't have any late payment charges on my upgraded card.

I have submitted my Pay protection Claiming request at Mashreq bank - Al Rigga branch Two months ago.But Still I did not get any response from the bank and I am keep on calling to Customer care and Two three times directly went to nearest branch but I did not get the update about Pay Protection Claiming Status.I am really fed up.Please do the needful.
Still I am waiting for Bank response against my Pay Protection claiming.Almost more than 75 day completed.I don't know what to do.

I opened my salary account through one of your sales person named Imran Khan.
He gave me my account number but its almost 2 months, I haven't received my Debot Card yet.
I keep calling to customer care but even they are not helping me.

Dear ma'am,
I am writing this email after several failed attempts to get an answer on my credit card.
• I applied for a credit card in the beginning of this month.
• Last week, i got the credit card through Aramex.
• On receipt, i activated the credit card and try using the same at a merchant and the message i get is that the transaction has been declined.
• I called the call center on Monday the 10/07/2017 and they say that there is no reason mentioned on the system why the card is blocked and that the bank will call me back by the next day.
• On the 11/07/2017, i called the call center again at 10am and spoke to the supervisor named Shabir and he promise to have a call back by 12pm same day.
• *There was no reverts made till 12pm .
• When i called back and after several minutes of wait, he comes back and states the very same details . To this, i informed him that i work with a Bank and there is no way a card can be blocked without mentioning the same on the system.
• To this, he asks me whether i work with Damas Jewellery(my old employer) and i clearly mentioned that i have left Damas Jewellery since 9 years, and when the new card was requested, i have given all required documents at the time of application and the credit card was approved based on this.
• The complaint was raised on the 11th July 2017 and since then, i have not received any calls from Mashreq Bank to tell me why the card is on blocked
Kindly requesting you to please look into this request of mine as I am writing this email to you with all hopes of resolution being lost.
