Credit Card Fraud
On 11/3/2020 my 2014 Ford Escape had work performed at Wall Township NJ Mavis, 1906 Rt 35, Wall, NJ 07719 total bill was $319.88. I paid using a Visa Card, that had no balance, a card I rarely use. On 12/3/2020 exactly one month later I was contacted by my bank that my Card was being used for unauthorized purchases at 2 locations in NY State. Total was $3928.96.
The Bank declined the charges and closed that account. That Credit Card on 12/3 had never left my wallet or used to charge anything but Mavis on 11/3. I not only will never go to Mavis again, I am hoping that I can file a police complaint. I will make sure that people in this community are informed of the fraud of my Credit Card at Mavis. Pretty poor way to do business!

I went to Mavis on route 10 in East Hanover NJ and asked to have my front two tires replaced 245-45R20 they went out and looked at the rims and tires marked down the size and said they had the tires in stock. They gave me a quote and I accepted it, they then removed the wheels and tried removing the tires but couldn't claiming that 20 inch rims are to large to work with at their shop and told me to go to another Mavis. This wasted over an hour of time in driving and in waiting on my day off just to be told 20 inch rims are too large This is a tire place they should have been able to tell me that before they took the wheels off and making me wait. I want to go to another location and have the work done with a discount to make up for that wasted time.

Purchased tires online tires came in recv'd notice from mavis I called to make appt was told tires aren't there? Rescheduled me for sunday 10 am when I went I was told they would get to me in about 2 hrs? From 10 am I was told appt mean nothing and so did my paperwork for the tires my online price with insulation was 201 he was charging me 243.? I called at 4:20pm to see the cost of oil Change for my benz. The representative told it would cost me $61 plus tax for full synthetic oil for up to 5 quarts of oil. But my benz needed 8 quarts of oil so the cost will $40+21=61 (each additional quart is $7.) I said ok can it be done today. Representative said yes but you have to get there quickly and wait little but we will get it done by 6 at 500 Hillside Ave, New Hyde park, NY 11040. So i quickly drove to the location and reached at 4:40pm. When i spoke to person at counter, She said not today because you suppose to be here before 4pm. I explain to her that when i spoke to MAVIS at 4:20, how do you expect me to be here before 4:00pm. So she called their another store which is across the street which STS Tire located at 420 Hillside Ave, New Hyde park, NY 11040. I met with Chris at the counter. 1)he said one of the employee is going to lunch (at 5:00pm and Store closes at6pm) 2) he will do the oil change but i have to wait over 1/2hr. So i said fine since i am here i will wait. and i asked how much would it be. He said it will be $107 plus tax. So i told him about what representative told me. He said I cant do that price and no one in MAVIS would promise that price. Chris even saw that i spoke to some one but somehow he did not wanted to do the job so he did not honor the price that was promise me.
