I am seriously considering switching my families prescriptions to another pharmacy if this matter is not resolved soon.
Every single time I go to pick up a prescription, there is a long line waiting for prescriptions and usually 1, rarely 2 workers helping customers. There are 3 worker stations and have never seen all 3 being used. And always 4 to 5 workers in the background working at computers. Just went 2 days ago to pick up 5 prescriptions and there were 12 people, (yes 12) in line waiting, and 1 worker helping customers, 1 pharmacist, and 5 other workers appearing to work on computer work. After waiting patiently for 17 minutes and making it to #4 in line, I now counted 14 people in the single line, so I went and contacted the pharmacist on duty, a short middle aged woman, and addressed the long line and perhaps she may want to have another 1 or 2 workers step up and help retrieve prescriptions for the time being. Her very rude reply? "Perhaps you should tell my Management to schedule more people to work." Didn't apologize for the wait, and never did get another worker to help. This is totally unacceptable. I totally understand since Fred Meijer passed away, that his boys only concern is profitability, but this kind of customer service is an affront to my intelligence, and my conscience will not allow it. Fred would surely not be happy.
I placed an order over 24 hours ago, and all I get are advanced times every so often. Please call me so we can discuss this problem. Phone [protected] Extension 50330.
