Specifically went to Meijer (* Mile/Woodward)to get blueberry plants and a few baking items. The outside gate was closed, but inside there was a sign that said the Garden Center was open. I went out, picked up 3 plants, then got intercepted by your employee telling me i can't be there. I said there's a sign at the door that says the center is open...the store is open...why not the garden center.Hius claim was "my safety". I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean. You have no less than 17 City of Detroit police in uniform, no idea how many not in uniform, your undercover theft guys, and employees plus customers. You have more "law enforcement" at this Meijers than I have in my neighborhood...and that is University District. 12th precinct is in my neighborhood. I disputed the employees claim that the sign said it was closed and said 'let's go check". Got to the door and in some of the most minutiae type font I've ever seen, says "closed at 8pm". I said"oh." I took the plants out, sat them on the floor, stopped by Customer service, lodge a complaint, and left. I will pull up any plant material I bought from Meijers and return it for refund in the morning. How about it? Your employee kept me from spending about $165 with you, but you'll get back $125 worth of plants that died that I wasn't going to return. Kroger, Home Depot and Lowes should send you thanks.

I called in 4 prescriptions and only got 2 I did not get 1 for me and 1 for my husband I called all 4 at the same time we were going out of town so I went on Sunday july29, 2018 the person waiting on me said they would not ready I would have to come back and I told him they should have called me ha acted like it was not a big deal so know we are out of town without medicine we have to take everyday and we only have enough for 2 days so if we get sick this is on the lazy people at Meijer's so something needs to be done about this this is not the first time I would change pharmacy's but no one else close to me takes are insurance

I would like you to look at the attached picture and tell me how a person with poor visin could even read the Microwave Instruction. My wife and I have good vision and had a difficult time reading it.
I think you should use a different color to make the instructions more readable.

I picked up my prescription on Tuesday at 4:45 pm Before pulling away bloomed st my prescription (because I have gotten the wrong medication before ) and noticed the bottle wasn't very full (90pills ) I counted them and there was only 60 I pulled right back around (drive thru) and told the young man. He sent the pharmacist over snd he asked me a few questions and went back away then came back and said he would "fix" it but because it was a control substance he want to perform a count (Xanax) he corrected my amount and apologized (I asked for a number I could report this too and he said he would handle it )but I feel something needs to be reported. This is suppose to be a double check process and it failed, so what happened? Why was I short ? Where did the other 30 pills go, was the staff tested and was this reported !
stanley - manager - south haven, mi meijer
Stanley the manager at the South Haven Meijer has made my wife and I so uncomfortable and dissatisfied, we will no longer be shopping at Meijer.
We spend thousands of dollars a year at this Meijer buying groceries and any other items we need. Every once in a while we have a return. Every time we return something we end up having a huge hassle with Stanley. His attitude is always rude and unprofessional. We have no idea why, but he has it out for us. Today we were returning a toy that our daughter received from a family member. We had a duplicate toy so we wanted to get something else.
Stanley gave us a huge hassle and held hostage my id for 15 minutes while he figured out how to disatisfy us the most. He said that there is a record on my id that would prevent us from returning any items without a reciept.
Look I get it. I'm not trying to scam Meijer somehow by returning items without a reciept. I am just an average consumer who needs to return an item here and there if necessary.
All and all in the past 3 years, there have been 4 instances were Stanley has treated us this way. This was the last time for us. We will be discontinuing shopping at Meijer going forward.
We want someone to know about our dissatisfaction to help provent this happening to others.

I went to the Meijer in Southgate, Michigan this afternoon. Everything was going well, and then I went to check out. The women at the cash register was nice, but she didn't do a good job of bagging the bags. I brought my own bags, like always, and a bag dropped off from the bagging area. Until I came home, I took the items out of the bag, and raspberries were all over my bag, and half of the raspberries were damaged. If she was a little bit careful, none of that would have happen. I enjoy going to Meijer and will continue going, but I just don't like having a bad experience.

meijers mega pack 154 paper plates
On 7-16-18 I went to the auburn hills meijer on brown rd. Store 185 and bought 2 mega packs of 154 paper plates. Upc # [protected]. When I got home and open the package, many plate had a very large black ring on the bottom with sits on the eating part of the plate. Many of the plate in both packages are like this, should I beware that something went wrong and shouldn't eat off of these? Encloses is a pic to show what they look like! I'm scared to feed anyone off these plates! Can I please get them replaced, I buy these very often and have never seen this kind of products on the shelf. Thank you in advance for your help and patience.
southfield store, specifically a manager named lemire
I'm a regular customer of the Southfield Meijer located at 28800 Telegraph Road. I was in there on Saturday 7/14/2018, I left my 94 year old mother sitting in the car. I only needed a couple things and expected to be in and out in about 15 minutes. After paying for my bill and receiving my receipt I noticed the receipt was blank on the right side. It showed to pricing or totals. So I went up to an employee assisting self serve check outs and asked for a readable receipt. She picked up the phone and made a call, then told me the manager would print out a new receipt and bring in to me in the next 5 minutes. After waiting15 minutes and asking 3 times, I finally asked whats this guys name and where is this office he's in? They told me his name was Lemire (hope I'm spelling that correct...Le mirror). They told me his office was next to customer service desk, so I walked down there and found him. He was on the phone, saw me, didn't acknowledge me, just kept on doing what he was doing. After 5 minutes, I interrupted him and told him I've been waiting 20 minutes for him to reprint a receipt and Iwasn't waiting any longer. I shouted at him to get his attention, and told him to stop what he is doing and print me a new receipt. He stopped, pressed a button and handed me the new receipt. It took him a second to complete the task, yet I had to wait 20+ minutes. This is inexcusable! This jerk should receive additional training on How to treat your customers.
With that said, I plan on Boycotting your store for the next month! Kroger will become my go to store, because of this [censored] able treatment!

meijer gas station carmel, indiana
Meijers has the best gas. Gas is always stocked underground and flows through the pumps wonderfully. We had an incident at Meijers on Friday the 13th at about 10pm. The machine had froze up after ringing up two drinks. I inserted my card for a drink then we paid for gas at the pump. My pnc card was charged 4 different times for 3 of them being charged due to the machine not working properly. Our store in Carmel, Indiana is beautiful. Clothes are awesome, toys could be better, produce is incredible, but I've heard that management is a bit weird. I have two very good friends that work at night. My friend Lisa who has been there forever deserves a raise for putting up with rude older men treating her like dirt. My friend Clint I'm not sure what department he is in but he's responsible at any place he works. Lisa told me some fishy stuff goes down in management and my situation at the gas station needs looked into whether if it is because of employment or if it was due to actuall computer issues. If so the 4transaction. That over charged me and ruined my whole trip out the next door ended a disaster due to over charging me card. I had me bank multiple times nicely help me but the charges were the biggest pain and ruined our whole trip. Please help.

My husband went into the Carmel Meijer store to return a watermelon that we purchased on 7/12. He went on 7/13. The gal at the service desk (EMMA) was very rude to him. He is 76 years young and moves slowly. She was yelling at him - his hearing is fine.
I did not send the receipt with him as I assumed (wrongly) they would just trade out the bad watermelon for a new one. This EMMA gal was very rude and kept talking to my husband like he was stealing. He had the watermelon with him, it was moldy on one end. She said to him "You probably bought this in May and now you want to bring it back". ?
We shop at this store in Carmel on 126th every few days. Have for years. We will NEVER go back to this store. How can you hire people like this EMMA and allow her to be rude, accuse you of stealing and allow her to YELL at you? As a customer, it is appalling.
Overall a very miserable experience over a $4 watermelon that should have never been sold in the first place.

On July 13, 2018 I went to your store #292 in Greenfield Wi. I like the Meijer stores and would like to continue doing my shopping there. However after today's visit and the visit before this one, I might be more inclined to take my business elsewhere. First I went to the deli section and after my last experience with the employee on duty, I decided to skip the deli department. I have never had such poor/slow service from an individual. The lady behind the counter appears to possibly have some medical issues and clearly is not able to do the job as quickly and efficiently as it should be. Perhaps she should be a behind the scenes worker. I went about my shopping and proceeded to checkout. That is the next nightmare. I will never understand why there are so many checkout counters and only 2 open. I understand there are self check registers, however they are for 12 items or less. So since I had a full cart of grocery's I waited in line for a cashier. When I finally got to the front of the line I came face to face with a person who clearly is not happy with her job. Again the service is slow and her attitude very poor. I am not normally a person who will write a letter or even complain to a manager, but I thought somebody should be advised of these matters.

went to Meijer to pick up some scotchguard. went into the garden center way went and got the scotchguard to pay for out there. there was no cashier I went to walk back inside and another girl coming my way. I said do you work out here. she said no and walked outside and the cashier was out by the fkower tent I asked the girl if she would go tell her. she walked back and said she will be right here as I stood there waiting she never came so I walked back there and said are you ever coming to the register her reply was gee cant you calm down alittle. I said the other girl told you I was there, she said she coulnt see me. no excuse for her comment the customer comes first. I work at Meijer and no this. I felt it was a little racial sided. she also wasn't wearing a name tag but on the recipt it says shandelyn the incident was on july 11, 2018 she shoulnt be so rude

After the 3rd week, still no Vegatable Thins on the shelf. Last time it was Vlasic Dill Relish. The time before that, Barillo Thin Spaghetti. This happens with a lot of products at the Standale store. Also, why are items moved to different locations every week? I don't have time to search the whole store! One more rant: the automated checkouts are a joke. There was no cashiers on duty. Granted, it was 7:30 A.M. on a Sunday, but come on! I'm done with Meijer.

I stood at the pickup window for 3 minutes with no acknowledgement from an employee, I saw at least 4 people working. I understand being busy working, but at least someone could say " be with you in a minute ", and a smile can go along way. When a girl finally waited on me, the initial attitude in her voice said that I was really messing up her day ! In turn then I had an attitude which I did not walk into your store with ! I get it, I have been a registered nurse in a hospital for 30 years, I know busy, I also know customer service, like I said acknowledgement and a smile go a long way. I have been a customer at your pharmacy for many years, seriously contemplating changing to CVS, which is also very convenient to where I live . I think some of your employees might benefit from some customer service training. This occurred on July 7, 2018 at 3:20 PM .

I went shopping on Thursday afternoon at Meijer in Mt Pleasant and the cashier was very rude. I had pop, dog food, cat litter and potatoes in my cart and I was lifting them out for her to scan (instead of having to walk around) and she kept saying "other side" as I did not have the barcode up for her to scan. The tone she was giving was not nice. Then she bagged my bathroom cleaner, and tide pods in a bag with food. I honestly just wanted out of there. I rebagged it myself. She only became pleasant when handing me my receipt. Name on the receipt shows Lisa.

I wanted to purchase MT. Dew 6 Pack on sale for $1.99 . This is a not an item that should be out of stock on the 2nd day of the sale.
I asked a sales associate if there was anymore MT DEW, basically he was clueless. He didn't even bother to check the stockroom. He said the store was getting a truck tomorrow.
Normally with a big sale with soft drinks there is a display in the center aisle. But not this time, why?
The store should have been better prepared especially during a holiday week.

I am highly concerned as to why the fish in the Meijer store are the last thing staff think about. So, I asked them how much they get fed and a staff member responded, "we feed them everyday". If they are fed every day then why are they begging at the top of the tank for food? why do the tanks look abandoned? Why hasn't the broken row of lights that have been out the past 5 times i've been to the store been fixed? Why is there a sign telling workers how to dispose of dead fish? But why is there so many dead ones in the first place? Sure, they are just fish, but they are an animal, a living thing. Have some respect for the Earth and just get rid of the tanks all together, that way you won't have people like me complaining about the crap job your workers and company do. The photo I've added below is of a dead fish sitting out on the counter for everyone, including children, to see. If you're going to allow fish to die, at least hide it.

I shop your Meijer store in Muncie Indiana all the time and when I buy a cup from the break area team member she is very rude all the time. the last time I was there I stood at the counter waiting for her to finish what she was doing and all of a sudden she kicks several boxes out of her way and rips off her plastic gloves and stomps over to me and asks "what do you want" I said one cup, she rang it up and handed it to me and never said thank you or have a nice day or anything at all. this is not the first time she has been rude to me or other customers I just feel she should be a lot nicer to paying customers. the rest of the store is great I shop there all the time.
lake and trail boots
These boots fell apart in 2 months. Yea after liking them, the receipt found its way to never never land. Anyhow, after they came apart on the inside and were eating my heals apart, i had to stop wearing them and called the store to be told by the super I could most likely at least exchange for a new set of boots with out the receipt. When i got there the two supers were not very nice at all. Said they would need to inspect them but did not, i tried to show them the problems with them and they just said no receipt, cant help you. When i called the super who was nice said he would help me. Anyhow, 50 dollars for boots that are really junk. I see many bad reviews on the net, they cost a lot of money and fall apart with in a few months. I found at least 15 reviews of people who complained and Meijer did not even submit a single reply to them. Wow... This company makes really bad shoes and made for meijer only, meijer should not carry them and also might want to consider the future loss of sales from this as I will not buy clothing again. Im just done. I will warn others to not buy clothing and shoes from meijer branded items as they seem to not want to support the products they sell, recipet or not, you could see the boots were basically new. I told them to throw them away, they arnt even worth bringing home to send back to the maker. They will just fall apart again. Thanks for ripping me off 50 dollars.
misleading advertising
I went to purchase the coffee mate that was 10 /10 last week and The signs stating the sale prices were still up, and when I went to pay for my items it rang up full price. So I let the cashier working know, she said, the sale had went off, ( but the sale signs were still posted within the store ) and the manager on duty said they couldn't give me the sale price due to the fact the sale went off at midnight. I think that if the sale signs wee still posted the should've been able to gave it to me for that price, but they wouldn't. I do a lot of shopping at Meijer, but if this is the kind of business that is run, I will take my shopping elsewhere. I've known people who worked for Meijers and they've said how poorly and badly they treat they're workers, I can only imagine how they treat they're customers. I have found that out to be true.
