Netflix Netflix

I tried to sign up my 80 year old dad to netflix who agreed to the 15.45 a month charge= My bank flaged my credit card and said it was fraud - Netflix is charging 39.99 up front- NO EXPLINATION why- so i cancelled it and now i have to get a new credit card-{ 2 weeks wait } If Netflix would explain the extra charge UP FRONT there wouldn't be any issue. It seems they hold a sign up fee for a few weeks then return the money- but don't explain it. It sure did screw me and my credit card up.

Netflix Content labels

Please provide more accurate content warnings. You post warnings about smoking, yet don't think you need to mention homosexuality, or LBGQT content? I have no objection to people living their lives as they see fit. I just don't want to have it dropped in my lap, without warning, in the middle of a movie. At least give a heads up by mentioning it in the content warning.

Desired outcome: Please add content warnings/labels for lgbqt content.

You know there's a difference between the two, right? Smoking is harmful to you and to those around you, being gay doesn't affect you or others around you negatively in terms of health?

Netflix Harry Megan show

What a disgrace for Netflix to spend millions od dollars to promote a grotesque whineathon about 2 privileged people attempting to rip part their family. Billions live in poverty and struggle beyond belief yet Netflix promote such nonsense.

2 bitter people who yearn for privacy air their poor me nonsense is revolting to watch and certainly does Netflix no credibility.

I will cancel all Netflix contact and urge others to consider their financing of this company.

Netflix Harry and Meghan Show

I Will never subscribe to Netflix again! I didn't watch this and won't because I don't want to have to say as Megyn Kelly did about the fact that she won't get those 3 hours back. She (Megyn) was on point regarding this second interview/docu on Netflix (Oprah being the first) regarding her comments in the New York Times article.

“What a boring, uninspiring, interminable waste of time,” Kelly said.

“Believe it or not this couple is still complaining” despite having “two beautiful, perfectly healthy children … and nearly $200 million in the bank thanks to their insatiable desire to ‘finally tell their story,'” Kelly added.

---The majority of the people in this world are starving, homeless, unable to become parents to healthy children, and will never have the opportunity to live in a multimillion-dollar mansion! The people want stories that they can relate to. Not whiney, not in touch with reality people with more money than they deserve!

Netlix, why do you think anyone wants another story after what they saw on the Oprah interview? Do your homework, and maybe hire some people that makes your company look good and generates revenue, not result in more subscription cancellations! So laughable!

~~~Netflix has lost almost 1.2 million subscribers in 2022. Is this the beginning of the end for the world's most popular streaming service? Netflix announced a drop in subscribers, with almost a million subscribers choosing to close their accounts in the second quarter of 2022.
~~~Netflix closes down 35% wiping more than $50 billion off market cap

Shares of Netflix plunged Wednesday after the streamer reported it lost subscribers in its most recent quarter.

The company shed more than $50 billion in market cap as a result.

At least nine Wall Street firms downgraded the stock on the disappointing report.

Desired outcome: No response necessary.

Netflix Harry and Meghan Show

You should be ashamed of yourselves putting this trash on TV. I have no boycotted watching your shows because of your disrespect to our late Queen and the Royal Family. It shows the ignorance of Meghan and most Americans when it comes to British royal traditions - curtsying is one of these traditions. Shame Shame Shame on your Netflix and the sooner you realise any decent person wants nothing to do with Harry and Meghan the better.

Desired outcome: Removal of the documentary

You don't deserve anything, especially with that attitude. You call customer service agents idiots (by default, people with less than half a brain) when you yourself have been paying zero attention to your bank account / billing. Take this as a teachable moment; pay attention to your bank statements and don't be a d...k to customer service agents.

Netflix Diverse shows

Hi you say on your website that you want to show diverse shows. Then why have you taken away shows from Ireland, Whales, Scotland, Norway, England, Switzerland, Denmark, Iceland, Russia, Sweden, Hungary, New Zealand and Australia? Showing Asian, Spanish mexican, Indian bollywood and African nollywood shows is NOT diverse you are aiming at that audience only. This is why netflix is losing money. I suggest you start showing shows that people like to watch not knock offs from those countries. Korea is particularly bad at copying western shows and they are very C grade knock offs.

Desired outcome: That you stop getting rid of our favorite shows from UK, scandavina, Netherlands, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, West Europe and stop bombarding us with c grade shows from India Mexico and Asia.

Netflix service

Netflix began taking money from an old acct that I cancelled in 2020 in April 2022. They gave me every excuse about why they are not allowed to refund me but 1 months worth. With all three phone calls that I made, they would put me on hold and make me wait for long periods of time just to come back and say the couldn't find a "supervisor". They are stealing my money and others and don't wont to admit or give it back. I will tell everyone that I know about them

Netflix Ozark episode -1

When watching the TV show Ozark (Season 1 Épisode 1) tonight I was actually chocked by a scene happening from the 50th to the 51th minutes of the episode!

The character simply amalgamated Muslims and Terrorists... not even mentionning that this disrespectful and insulting comment comes out of the blue, since it has nothing to do with the topic of the show/scene...

Let me quote the script as it clearly speaks from itself :

« Mexicans, Mafia, Muslims. We all want to believe that these people are more than they are. And they're not. If they weren't... dealing drugs, extorting businesses, flying planes into buldings, they'd be cleaning toilets.

They're not criminal geniuses. They're pathological liars on the path of least of resistence. ... »

It is our responsability to ensure that racist, islamophobic or any disrespectful comments about any type of community are noticed, reported and not accepted as if it was a thruth or a normal thing to say... We must not exploit the fear of Muslims within the world by popularizing Islamophobia!

Desired outcome: take down shows. sue the producer

Netflix Netflix account

I received an email that my netflix email and phone number were changed on my account. (I had cancelled my netflix in or about August 2022). When I check on this my account was active, and my bank account had been charged $10.59 for my account fee. When I reached customer service the account was closed and card blocked. The refused to give me the new email or phone number that was changed on my account. They didn't have a problem with someone frudulently using my account but as the authorized person who had the closed account they would not give the info. Per "secuity reason*, so if the system was so secure how was my account hacked. This is hiding the identity of a person who commited fraud on my account and I should have at least been to at least have the phone number of supposedly of mine that was changed. This policy is a pure joke. They were able to activate the account on my stored payment method yet Netflix would NOT release the infomation on an email address or phone number. They *secuity reason* is a nothing but a block to holding a person who committed fraud unaccountable and free to do it again. Netlfix is pathic

Desired outcome: The phone number and email address my account was changed to from botto******.@yahoo and phone ...25 to last 2 digets of the new phone number that had used was ....04. I'd like the other 7 number that come before 04

You can link your existing account to Sky billing, but it sounds like you used a different email address when activating your Sky billing, ending up with both your original (which doesn't cancel unless you cancel it yourself) and a new one linked to Sky billing. It's unfortunate that you didn't spot the double payments earlier, Netflix is able to refund up to 6 months if the original account had not been used, but you most likely had both the accounts in use on different devices, so that's why you only got 2 months back from them.

As for the Sky billed account, Netflix isn't able to cancel that from their end because the payment contract is between you and Sky, Sky is providing you access to Netflix and sending the money to Netflix once a month. Netflix isn't able to terminate the contract between you and Sky, you'll need to contact Sky again to get it sorted.

Netflix Subscription

I went out of the country & was locked out of my account for over a month. Upon returning to the US, I was still locked out but being charged. All of my account info was the same but customer service kept saying they couldn't verify even though I gave them my email & phone # which were the same. Then they wanted me to sign up for a new account & not receive a refund for the time I was locked out of my account. This is absolutely ridiculous & extremely poor customer service. I ~Robin

Desired outcome: Reimbursement for the time my account was inaccessible...

Your Netflix account isn't tied to a street address, they won't even have that information in their system. Give their customer service a call, they can find your account using either an email address or the 16 digit number of your bank / credit card. If the account has not been used, you may be eligible for a 6 month refund but they won't be able to process any payments beyond that.

Netflix billing

I renewed service NETFLIX in August 2022 for $16.19 per month. My August statement showed I was billed twice for $16.19 on 8/23/2022. Call NETFLIX the customer rep indicated I was billed for an old account which I closed out over a year ago. She processed a credit for the $16.29 for the over billing. On my Sept 2022 credit card showed I was then again billed twice of 9/23/2022 for the same service ($16.19). Called NETFLIX again, and was told a credit for overbilling for September could not be issued to my account - I would have to contact my bank and dispute the issue with them. This does not make any sense. I did receive a credit on my Sept statement for $16.19 which was for the August over billing. How do I resolve this problem? I have now cancelled my account and will not do business with NETFLEX in the future.

Desired outcome: credit back

What was the issue with your contact with customer service? They'll just need to ask your credit/debit card information to verify you as the account owner, and then can restore your email to the account and help with password reset etc.

Why are you along with every other corporation trying to push this LGBTQ garbage down our kids throats📀it needs to stop. I have already told my parents at my church if you have Netflix get rid of it ask for a refund and block Netflix. here is my number if you would like to talk to me pastor Ron [protected]

Netflix Lack of lgbtq content warnings at the beginning of programs

To Whom It May Concern:

As a long time Netflix subscriber, I feel compelled to write to you my concerns that certain programming can be watched by more sensitive viewers, or preteens whom are not emotionally or mature enough for the LGBTQ content specific programs contain.

I am not asking that you do not include this type of content. Instead, I am asking you to include in your warnings at the beginning of each episode that LGBTQ content is included with the warnings about smoking, language, sex, alcohol, violence, etc.

At least three programs that I was enjoying watching until the unexpected LGBTQ content appeared are The Umbrella Academy which Vanya (who has a Lesbian relationship in Season 2) requesting to be called Victor in Season 3 as she now considers herself a male. Not appropriate for young children. Another program is Locke & Key which revealed a homosexual relationship in Season 2, Episode 1. The third program is The Sandman, Episode 4 that revealed a Lesbian relationship between what I surmise is between a demon and a human.

These character revelations came as a shock to me as I was not prepared nor expecting to see them. As I said at the beginning, I am not asking you to not include this kind of content, just provide me with fair warning with what I can expect to see.

Desired outcome: Please provide at the beginning of any programming that LGBTQ content is included. I am sure there are many subscribers who would appreciate having the option to make the appropriate decision to watch such programs or not.

Netflix Movie-end of the road

I watched this thriller starring Queen Latifa and Ludicris,. Am a longtime fan of Queen Latifa. This movie was the most anti-white racist film I have ever seen. If the situation were reversed and the family was white and EVERY villian was black, the NAACP would scream their heads off. Not to mention Al Sharpton.

It portrays every white person as either a drug dealer or an inbred hillbilly extra from Deliverance.

Everyone who has ever driven from So. California to Houston,Texas knows that I-10 goes from coast to coast. What kind of idiots would take a 2 lane road?.(I do realize this is for the story set up.)

As a long time Arizona resident (by way of New York) and Ivy League Graduate this portrayal of the average citizen of this state is an insult, not to mention racially incorrect.

The ethnic make up of the state is 32% hispanic, 54% white, 4.6% black and 8% native American. Where were they? Oh, I apologize. I do believe the waitress in the Texas diner may have been hispanic

Why didn't they just remake "Birth of a Nation" in reverse?

This movie needs to be yanked.

Only positive thing was having a middle aged heroine.

P.S. Arizonians do NOT have southern accents.

Desired outcome: Pull this movie as the racially insensitive piece of propaganda . This country and the world are divided enough as it is.
