Opodo Refunds

I had made a booking with opodo in April 22 and cancelled in the same month (Tickets booked for Aug). Opodo has still not refunded. Booking reference: [protected] and mail id: [protected]@gmail.com.

Opodo over charge for my return ticket to the UK because of Opodo App checking service wasn't working , i got charge for checking by Ryanair

on the 10th of August 2022 l travelled back to the UK with Ryanair flight booked through Opodo prime . I tried to use my checking from my Opodo app 24 hours before my flight but l couldn't checking from my app then receive email from opodo ask to checking with airline company at the airport but didn't tell l may get charge for 55 pound if you don't do your checking online you get charge for it .

l did try to contact the airline by chat service bot l use all the option to get them never got back to me .

when l got to airport to check in our names wasn't there they couldn't find it on the booking conformation and told need to pay 55£ each l did explain the issue but said is not my problem because you booked with opodo we can't do nothing about . l had to pay 110euro for both.

l would like full refund for the 110 euro l've paid because it wasn't my fault.

Opodo Incorrect pricing

I bought two return tickets on 8th of August 2022 (Budapest-Luqa) with one 10 kg baggage both ways. The tickets belong to two (Budapest-Luqa, Ryanair), (Luqa-Budapest, Wizzair) airlines. After a few hours I realized that the Opodo charged me way more than it was indicated on the website.

Here are the fees I got invoices about:

Wizzair:

Fare price - 31.99 EUR

Fare price - 31.99 EUR

Administration fee - 16 EUR

10 kg checked-in luggage - 29 EUR

Total - 108.89 EUR

Ryanair:

34345 HUF - 87 EUR (baggage fee included)

These are correct prices, the total supposed to be 196 EUR, and that is what I expected after my booking. And then I got the confirmation email from Opodo and I could not believe my eyes.

Opodo charged me for 266.67 EUR, which is 70 EUR difference. I don't think this was an ethical step from Opodo. I talked with an agent from Opodo on the chat, he did not want to answer what is that fee, he insisted that I have to wait for the invoice to arrive and then I can check the prices. He said that everything is correct I was charged correctly as well. Well I do not think that it was ethical and I do not think either that it is the right way to treat a customer and send the invoice in 24-72 hours and avoid to answer the question about the fees I have been charged for.

I do not want to get an answer like "you have to cancel via the websites of these airlines" because no, I do not want to cancel my flights, those prices are correct. I am dissatisfied with those hidden 3rd party prices that Opodo charged me for and I wand a refund for THOSE HIDDEN, UNEXPECTED AND INEXPLICABLE FEES which is 70 EUR to be exact.

Opodo Reimbursement of, 432,48 pln

Hi there,

I canceled 1-st booking DE814850190 on 16.06.2022 and on the same day 16.06.2022 I reopened new booking DE814880550 and charged 5016,13pln.

My Mastercard has been charged for first booking 3954,48pln on 16.06.2022 and credited on the 29.06.2022 with only 3522,00pln so I request from you the payment to my MC account of the remaining amount of 432,48pln.

Opodo No refund even I purchased the "refund for any reasons guarantee" when I purchased the ticket.

Basically, this company is committing fraud.

When bought the ticket for £1300 I also bought refund for any reason guarantee with additional £89 on top...

I cancelled my flight 3 weeks before the departure date and Opodo sent me an email saying that the airline is refusing to refund.

I called Opodo that i bought it from Opodo and I didn't buy the ticket from the airline.

Opodo is just keep repeating that this ticket is nonrefundable because the airline says so.

I questioned Opodo about the £89 guarantee that I purchased, but no proper answer. Just keeps repeating that it is non refundable because the airline says so.

Opodo Refunds

They have not given my money as they own me me 316,28EURS and the airline have given them the money and on the 7/7/23 i got a e-mail off them to say they will give it back to me and still waiting i tryed contacting them and all they say it will in the back in 72 hrs but still not in. the ref number is [protected] and they got my e-mail address as well the date, our flight was on the 5/6/20 from Bangkok/ Thailand to Manchester on the 6/6/20 and with return in September 3/9/20 but the returns was cancelled 4 time's with the airline so I had rebook with another airline that got me Back to Thailand on 20/2/21

Opodo Cancelled flight and refund

Booked a ticket 07.01.2020, via the Opodo app, return flight from the UK to NZ.

Depart 08.05 2020

Return 22.05.2020

Airline Ref: RFG3U9

Total cost £850.60

I received notification on14.04.2020, via the Opodo app, that my flight had been cancelled.

I lodged a request for a full refund and not a voucher. I was informed that it would take 90 days from 15.05.2020 for my refund to happen.

It is now 2 years and 7 months since my flight was cancelled. My refund status says that Opodo are waiting to hear back from the airline (Emirates).

This is absolutely ridiculous. I do not want a voucher, i require the money as i have since been made redundant and i will never be able to fly again, due to health issues.

Desired outcome: Full refund deposited into my bank account as i no longer have the credit card i purchased the ticket with

Opodo unable to cancel prime subscription

I tried to cancel prime subscription at end of 30 day but I was unable to do so via app or opodo website opodo customer services instructions do not work so I was charged £59.99 without my permission I do not want a prime service and or prime subscription. I tried funding a phone number to contact opodo or even an email but that just did not work either

Opodo Prime

Dear Sir / Madam

I am very sad and disappointed to find out that you access my Bank account and you took £47.33 on 25 July , I never ask to go Prime as I hardly flay As I am a pension over 75 years of age. I contact my Bank ( fraud section) this morning and I explain every thing.

Please can you refund this money back to my account, and take my name off this PRIME.

Opodo Changing the flight dates !!!

THIS IS THE WORST online booking I've ever made !

I'm trying to reach OPODO through the mentioned contact on the web, but with no respond, on the phone, email and through the useless robot system Chris.

my flight in in 2 days and I need to postpone it, and this is not doable directly with the airline, since I UNFORTUNATLY dealt with opodo as a platform.

I need a reply ASAP, or this will really escalade to a higher level.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, and i do believe this web should shut down !

Opodo Flight Cancellation

I have had the worst experience dealing with Opodo.

They are a bunch of SWINDLERS, FRAUDSTERS and CHARLATANS.

They expect me to wait 50 minutes before I can talk to an agent. They deduct 20% from the original payment for cancellation and they also tell me that I have to wait 3 months for a part payment refund. Yet, they take less than 1 minute to take money from my account. They try to force my to download their app to see the progress of my refund. This is all not necessary and totally unacceptable.

Please, Please avoid these charlatans at any cost, if you value your sanity.

Opodo A non confirmed flight

Yesterday i booked a flight, from geneva to Lisboa. The flight would be today at 13:25. it is now 9:00 and i still have no confirmation. The helpdesk is not Helpful at all, the only sentence they say throughout the whole conversation is „mam u have to wait, we have 24 hours to confirm“ if u try to explain that m’y Flight is before those 24 hours, they dont Care. I have even told them to cancel so i can book something else, but as the only sentence they know „u have to wait“

Never Ever again and i will make sure no one in my Surroundings flies with them.

Opodo Ignoring the problem, no answering by phone

Opodo booking reference [protected]. Round trip ticket within one day: 10:20 Larnaca - Vienna (Ryanair airlines), 20:40 Vienna - Larnaca (Austrian airlines). Date of the both flights - July, 21 2022.

Flight Larnaca - Vienna was delayed until 21.30 (!). Of course I couldn't make my full trip and canceled my trip.

I was trying to reach Opodo customer services by phone. I couldn't speak with their managers even though I called several times. Waiting time was 30 minutes and more.

I've tried to have conversation through online chat. I was told that there were no delays on this flight. It was on time. But it's a lie! It is very easy to check this information.

It was very rude and unprofessional!

Opodo Car rental

I arrived in Palma airport to collect my car from OK mobility to be told I was a no show and had to re hire a car from them directly. Having reflected on this booking and the failure for it to be realised. I have becone increasingly angry.

You sent me an email on 06/07/2022 and when I received it I tried at least four times to enter the “manage my booking” section of the site to be repeatedly told that such a booking could not be found. Why was this? I assumed this was just a glitch and thought nothing if it. I now wonder if my mistake had been spotted by you with my flight details and deliberately cancelled as a no show.

I therefore could not cancel nor could I change the timing for collection of the booking. I have my search history to prove this and if you do your due diligence you will find this also to be true.

Had I managed to change the collection time I would not be a further 1161 euros out of pocket.

Given your failure to uphold your contract for hire and allow me to change my booking or cancel online 24 hours before the booking I expect a full refund or at least the 90% return that you contractually are obliged to. I expect a reply by return please.

A VERY disappointed customer.

Opodo Only partial refund paid a cancelled flight

I booked a return flight package from Portugal to Brazil in the Opodo travel agency and did a single transaction.

I could not travel to Brazil because the outbound flight got cancelled because Portugal banned all flights to/from Brazil (https://crisis24.garda.com/alerts/2021/01/portugal-authorities-ban-flights-with-brazil-effective-jan-29-feb-14-to-curb-the-spread-of-new-covid-19-variant-update-29).

I asked Opodo for the refund. I only got a partial refund for the outbound flight. Opodo says that I am not entitled to the compensation for the inbound flight as that took place and I should have been there, which I think does not make any since with the outbound flight cancelled and the ban lasted for most of the travel period.

Desired outcome: Can you please help me get the rest of the refund?

My flight from Budapest to Berlin 12 July 2022 by Ryanair was canceled and I requested refund.

I have received the following answer from Ryanair, not yet the money from Opodo:

Opodo Missing receit

Until now I still have no receit or Approval in Document Form for my Hotel.

It was Paid. The Hotel Told me I must get the payment approval and receit from Opodo.

Opodo Flight cancelled and no refund

We have booked a returned ticket to Romania in December 2020. Along with this we also paid an Insurance which was supposed to cover the refund in case the flight was cancelled. We have received the refund for the return flight which was a smaller amount then the other flight. I have been trying to contact Opodo so many times that I got tired. In the beginning they told me they have submitted the request and waiting for the flight company to respond.

The weird thing is that I have received an email from the company saying my refund money should be in my account which didn't happen because I booked it through Opodo. So the refund money went to them.

It's been 1.5 years and still nothing. I am trying to contact them through chat and I only get the automated robot which says it will take up to 3 months to get my refund.

We paid £1381.51 in total, from which £97.92 was the insurance and we got refunded £445.66 for the refund flight. We are still awaiting for the rest and we have lost hope a long time. I just don't find it fair at all. And I will never use Opodo never in my life. Especially trust their "insurance"

Opodo Cancellation of tickets with no refund by ODOPO

They have taken money out twice.

I recently booked flights with OPODO for a trip to the US. The flights were cancelled and I have asked for a refund. See information below.

THE MONEY WAS TAKEN OUT ON THE 22ND OF MARCH the amount was £3882

The email they sent me telling of the cancellation of my flights.
