I had a 1/2"chip/crack on my windshield. I have a policy through RoadVantage to repair situations such as this. RoadVantage contacted Safelite directly on my behalf for the repair. The Safelite Technician completed the service on 09/29/21 at 10:00 a.m. & said the repair was complete. Windshield looked fine. Next morning on 09/30/21 at 8:30 a.m. I now have a crack stretching up the windshield and to the left and down the windshield to the right totaling around 2'-3' from the original repair site. My vehicle was not driven after the so called repair. Safelite will not repair their damage. I was told it's my problem & contact my insurance company. I told the customer rep their technician exasperated the problem as I did not choose Safelite and the original crack was only 1/2". They created a bigger problem for me & now will not guarantee their work. I will never use Safelite again.
Desired outcome: I would like Safelite to fix the issue they created for me.
Windshield replacement
I scheduled an appointment online on Sept 8 to get our windshield replaced at the West side Madison WI location. Our initial appointment was set for Sept 15th. I tried multiple times to contact someone at the 800 number about getting OEM glass but could never reach a human. Then I called our local store and they said they would check to see if our insurance would cover it and call me back. I never got a call. Called the next day and got another excuse. Then they changed the appointment to the 21st. I called on the 21st to make sure they had the OEM glass and he said he'd check and call back. No call again. My wife called on the 21st, the day of the appointment and they asked for the vin number to make sure they get the right glass. And they have not called back since. Our work order number is [protected], please cancel the work order. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Windshield installation
I had safelite AutoGlass perform windshield replacement for my BMW E36 318 TI. The tech came on September 2nd and started installation. He did not finish as he had a missing lower sealing gasket/ rubber piece. The tech asked me to order the part from BMW directly then stop by at the shop which I did.
I showed up at the shop 10 days later after the missing piece arrived and team there were rude. They refused to install the piece and blamed their tech who initially started installation. They refused to have me speak w the manager but promised to have me get a follow-up call which never happened. They simply charged me 800 USD to install OEM parts for a simple 250 USD installation and did a half sleeve job.
I also winded up paying an additional 80 USD to obtain a sealing part that safelite refused to install

September 2 Had chip repair on windshield on lower passenger side about 2 " long. Trying to get glass service on fleet truck. Receptionist could not find our company on first visit. Was told to verify with our Fleet Manager that a national account was in place.

Same receptionist. Would not even attempt to look again because she already tried once. Was told to get fleet manager to call in and book appointment .
What's the point of a fleet account to easily facilitate fleet service. If you have to have the company manager setup each and every appointment .

I am a customer of safelite and I can tell you that I will NEVER use them again from their customer service to their incompetent service technicians it took seven calls and three to four appointment change requests to get it right. No one has time to be on the phone this long due to incompetence I'm so disgusted

Replacement of auto glass
Safelight made me wait a whole week after I called to have a date that they were available to fix my car window. On the date that they gave me, they gave a 5 hour window so that I really couldn't do anything else I needed to do that day. The window of time was 12-5 pm. At 4:15 pm I called Safelight since it was nearly the end of my appointment window. I got an automated message saying to only call ball after the window for your appointment time had passed, which makes no sense at all! So I waited until 5:05 pm and called again because no one showed up and no one called to provide any status on my appointment time, delays, etc.
When I reached customer service after 5 pm, she attempted to reach the technician directly, and was unable to do so. She was unable to tell me anything in terms of rescheduling or why I had not been notified that a technician would not be coming...instead of having me waste my day without the courtesy of an update. So as things now stand, I still have a missing window and no idea about when it will be repaired. What ever happened to customer service or courtesy or respect for someone's time? I am very pissed off that I had to wait this long (over a week) and NOW I have no idea how much longer I will be required to drive around in a car that poses a hazard due to a missing window. Unacceptable! Safelight needs to do much better!
I would like priority service for my window to be repaired ASAP, and any fee for service to be performed at my location should be waived, and this is the very least Safelight could do for wasting my entire day without the courtesy of a phone call.

I had an appointment scheduled for 7/8 was told they had to make it 7/15 because they needed to order the window. 7/15 comes and they cancel saying it's on back order. 2 weeks go by I call and still no window. I was then told Michelle never ordered the window on the 7/7 that she didn't order it until 7/14. Ask for a manager to call me and nothing. It's now 8/21 and I called and got the manager and still no window and I complained about Michelle not ordering when she was suppose to. He didn't care. That's why employees do whatever they want because they are no getting in trouble. Your manager needs to step it up or get a new manger. This is unreal it been over a month. You all replaced my windshield three weeks ago. Yesterday I turned on my front windshield defogger and tiny glass shards blew every where! Face, eyes, seats, dashboard! We attempted to use a lint free rag on the dash board and scratched the vinyl. The shards are still exactly there and I am extremely irate!
The WORST IS I CAN'T GET YOU PEOPLE ON THE PHONE!

Driver Complaint - on July 26, 2021 in Concord, NC between 11:15 - 11:30 EST, driver pulled in front of me, only to turn again in several feet, I blew my horn, he slammed on brakes and stopped in the road trying to get me to hit him in the back end. I followed him to get his truck number in Legrand business parking lot. His truck number 17256. This black guy, with a beard is a total [censored]. Should be fired for almost causing a wreck! What a joke! We have used Safelite many times however we will NEVER use them again!

Windshield installation
Was at the safelite office on Oakland park Blvd. in Broward County, Fl. To get my windshield replaced about two weeks ago.Ok we have had a lot of rain, since then I noticed both sides of truck floor were wet. So, I contacted safelite about it knowing that tech that installed it originally had a really hard time removing the old one I watched him lift the drivers side several times.Doing that? Did he cause dammage by over flexing the opposite side? So the new tech comes out and starts to blame this on door gaskets with some breakage being the reason for my wet floorboards. As a retired mechanic I know that would still just run outside and not build up on both sides of the front floor boards.The drivers side was dry by now but the passenger side is still soaked.

On or about june 18th someone came out to replace my front wind shield, the rear view came within a day or two. My husband danny webb called and scheduled a warranty repair and was told we had to wait till the 13th of july. On the 13th the worker came out and told me he did not have the correct weight in tape to fix it so he would return on the 14th and complete repair. I stayed home all day again on the 14th only to be rescheduled for the 15th. I am writing the bbb and I am contacting my bank and having the dispute the payment for such a sorry as replacement and repair for something that could have been fixed in 5 min and only should have taken no more than a week to have it repaired.

Had a appointment for June 21 and went to the shop and they didnt have my wind shield. Made yet appointment for the 29th of June and gone to the shop, they still didnt have my wind shield. So now I have a third appointment to replace my wind shield. I find this to be very poor service on the shops part. Mean while my wind shield is continuing to crack.

The windshield on my Subaru forester was cracked in multiple places I contacted my insurance company and they suggested that I go to the Safelite repair Center on 18th Ave. in 86 Street in Brooklyn. My first attempt to replace the glass was met with the manager at that location telling me that the insurance company had sent the wrong Glass. I asked to have the correct Glass sent an appointment was made for the following Thursday I took off of work the Wednesday evening I was called at 5:15 at night and was told that the glass had not gotten there yet after a week. My appointment was rescheduled for the following week 527 2021 and on the 26th I contacted the store and spoke to the manager and asked if my glasses come in and if it was OK for me to come in the next day. I came in the next day on my schedule time took another day off work and my Glass was not at the shop the glass comes from Pennsylvania and I don't understand why it's taking more than two weeks for it to be delivered. I also don't understand why I'm being told to come in for appointments when my parts are not there. I showed the manager my phone with the phone number of the office and a five minute conversation and the manager said that he did not speak to me I asked him who I spoke to for five minutes and he said he did not know but if I tell anybody that I spoke to him he would deny it. I would like to know if this is normal policy he told me there was nothing he can do and pretty much said too bad will contact you if and when we get the glass. I don't appreciate being lied to and my time being taken advantage of.

Missing clip from drivers side window - fell in as I was driving
Have emailed and called numerous times to no avail. No response back, no email back - nothing. Paid $288.87 for a pos drivers side window glass that is no good (missing one clip). Also my other window did not roll up because the tech did not know what he was doing and messed with the wires. Anyways I want a refund asap. Had to pay for a new driver side...

A tech came to out to our home on saturday 15th 2021i` discovered him working on my window of my car when I went out to throw garbage out. I asked him why didn't he not call and he stated he texted my cell I did not appreciate him working on my car without my consent as I walked closer I noticed he was pecking with a tool on my glass on my car window. He cracked it and made it worse!
I stated to the tech ‘you where suppose to to change my whole window out he stated I don't do that you need to reschedule and left my window of my car worse than it started he then scheduled me for tuesday may 18th 2021 my original appointment was on saturday may 15th 2021 making my car dangerous to drive to work causing work stoppage for me. I am missing one day of work for your negligence! 1
To add more insult I was on hold for for 2 hours on my cellphone trying to contact the saflite complaint department [protected].
