no receipt at self checkout
I did a self checkout at store #8290 on 6/20/17, but did not get a receipt. I asked a rep for help but was told someone would help me. After waiting a while, I tried to leave without the receipt, but could not get through the door without a receipt. I asked for a manager, but no one would get a manager. After waiting for about 10 minutes, someone brought my receipt so I could leave. Store needs to be able to help customer on a timely basis for a situation like this one.
almonds
I have been a very loyal sams club customer for over 20 years. I have also purchasing almonds from there for my household use for many years as well. Just last week, as usual, I purchased one bag of almonds. By far, this is the worst quality almonds I have ever purchased from sams club. As you can see in the pictures, it is clearly visible that the quality is pathetic
customer service
Your customer service is terrible. I called the number on my card to inquire about 3 small charges on my sam's club mc account which may or may not be an online purchase? I don't recall making them? After waiting on hold for an extended period of time, the synchrony bank representative was unable to provide any information regarding three charges at what appears to be the store in bentonville, ar, which I believe is where your home office is located? She transferred me to a sam's club representative who seemed very confused from the beginning of the conversation? When I asked to speak to another representative, she indicated she could not transfer me, and told me to hang up and call back? I called the store in bentonville, ar and spoke to a representative who was unable to provide any information? He was rude. He provided me with a different number for synchrony bank? I then called that number and reached what appeared to be an automated survey line which began by asking my age? I called the store in bentonville, ar again. I was placed on after asking to speak to a manager. After again waiting or an extended period of time, I hung up. The charges in bentonville, ar were small amounts. I guess it's okay if I have bought small items for some stranger in ar? But what if they decide to use my card to say... Buy expensive jewelry... Or furniture?
tires
I purchased 4 tires for my toyota Corolla car in 02/2013 and got installed.
Odometer reading at the time of installation is 52112. Please see the attached pictures which odometer reading.
Date of incident - 06/10/2017.
I use the car for travelling long distance between Houston and Dallas, do get oil change and tire rotation not at a fixed shop .
The current odometer reading is 86, 000 Miles.
No.of miles kept on the tires are around 30, 000 Miles. The front tires are worn out and thread depth is 3.
Took the car to the SAMs Club at katy, Manager is very rude and asking to bring Tire rotation history. he offered credit of $10 for new tires.
As advertised New Tires should last atleast for 55k-70k.
After this bitter experience, how can I trust for SAML club and buy anything from SAMS. Nowhere in the warranty document mentioned that the customer/I have to maintain rotation history records.
meat department
I talked with meat cutter there and made it very clear I did not want any rib eye steaks cut over 7/8in -1 inch thick nor any steaks over a pound, for no one can eat that much and it gets thrown away. He assured me he understood my directions...So, I purchased a 15 pound ribeye $148.00, and he cut it into 11 steaks.? what an idiot, , , every steak is nearly 1 1/2 pounds and almost 1 3/4 inch thick.. That's nearly $5 thrown away of every steak.$55 in the trash, , , because of your poorly educated apprentice meat cutter, ,
SAMS Club, this is the second time your meat cutters have done this to me in the past few months, I will be buying all my meats at Costco for now on, this idiot should be fired!
I know any kid over 14 years of age can tell the difference from 1 inch cut of meat to a 1 1/2 inch cut of meat and if he does it everyday, he had to have been laughing at me as I walked away, knowing each steak was 1 1/2 pounds, , but it all comes back to you Sams Club Management, I'll never buy high end quality meats from your store again. This person needs to be replaced!
florals
I ordered $755.00 worth of flowers for my daughters wedding. I made sure to call and speak with floral department to time the delivery perfect for the most fresh flowers. Was told by both customer service reps to have order delivered no more than 2 days prior to big event. I did this. My flowers unfortunately were delivered a day early! My florist is concerned that the roses will begin to wilt/look old by the day of the wedding! It has become apparent to me that I will not get the customer service that I paid for. It was Sams clubs mistake in delivering my roses too soon, and now after speaking with 5 different customer service representatives including a supervisor named Bradley who stated he'd call me back by 2pm yesterday with a resolution and never did? I still have not only no resolution but horrible customer service! We trusted Sams club on the special day of our daughters wedding! Word of mouth is pretty key in sales and unfortunately I will not have positive things to say in the future! No attempt at all has been initiated by your company to reach out or even return a call. I should at the very least be reimbursed for my $755 spent! If my daughters wedding is ruined with wilted flowers you will surely hear from me again.

employee service poor
My name is Don Cotton, I have a Sams Club Member since 2007, was a member prior to, but let go of the membership due to unhappy with service in 2004. And once again will drop my membership when it expires. I have a in store Sams Credit Card and a Sams Master Charge Card, shop at the store at least 2 to 4 times a week and know a lot of the employees
This is the incident,
I’ve purchased 9 items, according to the receipt, spending more than $116. 1 pack of Baby back ribs. For $28 is the highest and 9 tubs of Chef Shammy Butter All (Garlic Parmesan) at the Chef Shammy Road Show for $19.98 for 3 (three), $19.98 3 times on the receipt. 1 pack of breakfast sausage links for $9, Bananas, strawberries, grapes. Potato chips.
Checking out at the Exit Door met by a middle age white woman employee, with no common sense at all, and also no reading skills. She looks at the receipt and saw 9 items on the bottom. I attempt to explain to her, that the Chef Shammy Road Show was selling the butter for 3 at $19.98 each and they should be counted as 3 items because I had 9 and also had a Large barcode sticker that read Buy 3 with Chef Shammy on the sticker describing the item. She could not understand what’s going on about butter, and keep stating but you have 9 items. I told her to look at the amount I spent. She still couldn’t understand. The woman at Entrance Door that she called over. Knew about the Road Show and tried to Explain to her, but she then took a very bad attitude, stated “well Iam not gonna check him out” and told me to shut-up. It was very hard for me to hold my composure.but I did. Looking at my face, knowing that I was getting pissed off, the woman on the entrance door checked me out with the recipe along with a young black lady from the service desk.
The woman at the exit door needs a different job or position where she doesn’t have to deal with the public. She has no common sense. Better training. Not earning her money.
I also brought 3 Hotdogs at the deli Togo and they would not wrap them up, wish I would have knew that before I purchase the hotdogs.
Shopping at Sams wasn’t pleasant., but most of the employees are very nice.,
Need to weed out the bad ones. I enjoy shopping, but refuse to spend my money at such a place, that doesn’t respect the customers and their money.
member's mark natural pecan halves 2 lbs bag
We purchase a bag of these each week and love them on salads, snacking, etc. We have noticed however in the last number of bags that there are more shells in the bag. I don't know if it was when you changed to the Member's Mark Brand if you changed suppliers, but it has become a problem. I am just thankful we have had no dental issues concerning these hard, very undetectable pieces until you crunch down on them.
These were our last two bags purchased from the Waukesha, WI Sam's and we had shells in both bags. Both had the same info:
Lot #CP00028 V#577775 TX Best if used by 12-01-2017.
My acct number is [protected], and my husband's
acct number is [protected].
We would love for the problem to be resolved, and we knew that you would want to be made aware of this to deter any further complications from many patrons. I can understand an occasional shell, but not multiples in every bag. I just threw away the pea sized shell from my counter yesterday so I do not have any pictures.
I am sure we have had 8 bags that have been troublesome and would love for any compensation in the way of coupons for this product in the future would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for listening and for handling our request. That means a lot.
Sincerely, Mari Paffenroth

I have been buying Natural Pecan Halves for years, but the past 2 years the pecans are not fresh and crunchy, a lot of the are black and bad not fit to eat. These pecans are not cheap and I have to pick thru them to find descent ones fit to eat. I am not sure what happened, but if you are using a new company, you need just pour out a bag of these nuts and see for yourself what you are selling the customers. I will purchase my nuts from another vendor from now on...very disappointed. I posted a photo below and hope you can see just a few of the nuts I took a photo of. Over half the bad was not fit to eat.
customer service
Sams club in holland mi, old lady with white hair she's a cashier and the biggest you know what. I'm not one to ever complain for say anything, but I couldn't take her anymore. She's a short thicker old lady with white hair that needs to go. So rude. She never smiles always ### at me about something either about putting something on the belt or not.. it's always something. I'm going to start going to Costco cause the employees at sams are all rude ###.
rules
I was in Sam's in Joplin today. While I the checkout line another customer came up behind with a dog in the cart. Everyone including the checkout person thought it was cute until the dog started urinating all over the cart and floor. The lowlife owners were not going to say anything until they seen how upset I was. Then the ### said "I think this will have to be mopped up ". I checked out and notified management. I do not feel that pets need to be in a grocery store let alone the shopping carts where my food is going to sit.
tire department
I had my wife take a car to have a flat repaired and they told her that they wouldn't because the tire was over ten years old, so expecting that it might not be fixable I had sent a good tire with 8/32nds tread. They stated that they could not mount any outside tires and instead sold her two new tires that she didn't need, what has happened to customer service, I will never buy nor take another tire to your business and am considering dropping my membership.

returning an item
3/28/2017 - Ordered an Ice Maker, upon receipt we realized the hold capacity was too small for our needs. Called Sam's Club as was told a return would not be a problem as was given an Return Authorization number [protected] and Ref. # [protected]. Spoke with Christie. I then ordered a larger Ice Maker from Sam's Club, which was delivered quickly. Freight company refused to take smaller Ice Maker. 4/6/2017 spoke with Crystal, Sam's Club rep. who stated she would schedule a pick up of Ice Maker ASAP. 4/13/2017 sent email to Sam's Club with all this info. stating pick up and refund still not processed. NO RESPONSE. 4/20/2017 spoke with Sam's Club rep. Kierra who put me on a 3 way call with vendor, who scheduled a same day pick up. Freight company came out but would not take Ice Maker because they didn't have an address to take it to. 4/21/2017 spoke with Lisa at Sam's Club she supposedly escalated this to a person named Robert who stated "I'm with the escalation department". He stated a credit would be placed on our credit card within 3 business days and that they would deal with the vendor regarding pick up of Ice Machine. 5/4/2017 still no credit on our credit card account. Spoke with Mike Jones ID #3116 who stated Robert was not authorized to tell me a credit would be given without the pickup of Ice Machine. Mike stated he would escalate the problem to the correct person ASAP and that I should be receiving an email from that department. He gave me 2 ref. #'s [protected] and [protected]. I also submitted via email and received ref. #[protected]. 5/10/2017 no email from Sam's Club, no communication, no credit. NO RESPONSE OR ACTION FROM SAM'S CLUB.
customer service
My husband and I visited Club # 4972 on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 around 6:00 p.m. to purchase two cases of ribs and one case of chicken. We were told that all the meat cutters had left for the day and we would be unable to retrieve our cases. We requested to speak to the manager and Mr. Edward Landosca came back and spoke with two other customers that were waiting also. Never responding to us, as we were the individuals that had originally called for the manager's assistance. Before speaking with Mr. Landosca, I felt that our rights were violated due to him immediately walking over to the other two couples that were of his same nationality. I immediately felt that he needed to be sent to a diversity class.
After speaking with him about my concerns, he apologized and informed us that he had asked the General Manager, Mr. Jonathan Bratton, to come out and assist us several times and he refused. This information was not provided to us until after 7:15 p.m. We are so disappointed with Sams Club because we have a catering business and we spend about $1, 000 in your store monthly.
We felt that we should have been shown more respect than we were provided. Just wanted to also point out that in the end, Mr. Landosca corrected his mistake and showed that he appreciated us as being loyal customers. However, I wanted to bring the discrepancies to your attention so that they can addressed in the future.
For any reason you may need to contact me, please do so. My number is [protected]. My name is Patty.
tire service
I brought a full set of tires for my daughters car in January 2017 in Houston and I got all the warranties to go with the tires and the reason I brought the tires from Sam's is because there is a Sam's Club in San Antonio, Texas too.
Well one of the tires had a blow out in March and she went to Sam's to get another tire and there was some kind of mix up with the people at Sam's. The lady told my daughter she order her a new tire and it would be in the next day well four days went by and my daughter riding around on a donut tire and I was not happy. She went back to Sam's on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago and my daughter was informed that the tire was never ordered because the lady didn't collect $15.00 from her for the new tire. I told the lady across the phone that my daughter could not continue to drive around with a donut and they needed to put her a tire on her car until the special order came in. They told her the tire would be in on Tuesday and that they would call her. Needless to say we have not heard from Sam's Club about the tire yet. Please tell me what use was it for me to get all the tire protection Sam's offer and my daughter does not get taken care of. That was the purpose of me going to Sam's in the first place. I am not happy with the service at Sam's Club in San Antonio and my daughter still does not have a new tire. No one has contacted her after they promise they would call her when the tire came in. I need some assistance. If you are not a person that can help with this situation, please pass this email to someone in authority that can help. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
customer service/management
It's been almost a year since my incident occurred and I have even sent an email and never got a response. I had an account and had a guest card for Lori Enus. We parted ways and I found out she was letting her entire family use her card so I deleted it from my account. Several months later I checked my account and noticed her card was active again so I deleted it again. Later that week I received a call from Lori wanting to know why her card wasn't working because her sister was at the store trying to use it. I told her, the card had been deleted twice! After some research I learned her mother, LuAnn Mehlman, had come into the store, threw a fit when the card did not work and went to customer service, where LuAnn pretended to be me and was allowed to not only reactive Lori's card but was also permitted to upgrade the account! If I had not figured this out when I did, I would have had to pay $100 for my renewal! After calling the store and finding out all this information, I was told to come to the store! So a few days later I did that and spoke with a woman (Miriam?) who pulled me away from the customer service counter to an empty register lane (Which I thought was strange) where she took all my info (and proceeded to check MY ID) and told me the manager was off but that she would contact me soon. I never heard from anyone! I tried to email a complaint to Sam's club several months later and have yet to hear anything from that as well. I had decided to let this go and I did not renew my membership. It just upsets me that someone was allowed to pretend they were me, never asked to show ID, was allowed to make changes to my account and when I go to complain I was treated like I did something wrong! I'm a very reasonable person but I have let this bother me far too long. I was very disappointed in this whole experience and it me made me feel violated! LuAnn was never part of my membership to begin with but she was given access to my account. Good thing she wasn't given my credit card as well. It doesn't make much sense to have cards with photo ID when no one even looks at them. It would be great if someone could look into this matter and explain to me why this was allowed to happen. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Heather Thomas

can't cut meat as business owner for you
I have been dealing with Sam's club as business owner for the past 12 years and when I come into the store and asked to cut the meat and I was refused and tried to talk to the first manager "Danny sandlin" and was refused again as I was told it's not store policy, so stared to take a video when I started talking to the 2nd manager while she spook to me very unprofessionally, and when I confronted her about how unprofessionally she is with her face expression, she was and left me and tried to ask her if can show me a the policy and she got more upset afterwords the first manger came back with meat cut which I took a video that as well, while the first called the cops. The cops did not even come to talk to me because as I simply took a video, I was able to take of the cops with both mangers then the cops just left. I would love to share this video with everyone showing how each manger has or her own policy.
bakery department
I called in before and spoke with someone about a complaint I had about my local Sam club in Oakwood Ohio with a worker in the bakery department with her attitude and about the cake being stale and I believe I was giving a stale cake purposely.. I explain the story to a representative and was promise a call back or a email and never received either for this matter.
photo center at sams' on bryant irvin in fort worth
It is may understanding that this store will be remodeled in April 2017. I am told that the Photo center will be closed. This is the only reason I am a member. I am a teacher and my district uses this service often. It is always busy. I know many teachers that have concerns as to why they should continue to keep their membership with SAM's. It's shady cause NO notice has been publicly posted. SAM's should at least notify members that this service is ending before renovation begins and ends.I have been a loyal member for years because of the photo service needed for my students, department and campus.
What are other options for this service if I remain a Sam's club member.
I was told by Sam's employee that I could go to Burleson store as if it is down the street and it is not! This is not convenient at all to this location.
bakery department
My Sams Club is located in Valdosta, GA where I reside. I began purchasing cake domes from the bakery department almost 10 years now. I have not purchased them from the Sams club in my hometown for 2 years now due to the poor customer service. I have always placed an order before going in the store. The reason I stopped going to my Sams Club is because once I arrived to pick them up, they would not be available for pick up. The bakery staff would say they can't find the order or that there was an error in the ordering. This has happened on multiple occasions and I started sending others in the store for me to see if the problem was me. The persons I would send, would have the same issue. The last time I ordered cake domes I had to leave the store and call the store when I got home to talk to a store manager. The store manager had to handle picking up the domes for me. After that experience I because very frustrated. I had to go to Jacksonville, FL for medical treatment and decided to try the Sams Club there. I hadn't ordered any cake domes and was treated with respect and given the cake domes immediately. I have also gone to Sams while visiting in Atlanta and had the same successful experience. I shouldn't have to go out of town to get cake domes that my local store should be able to provide.
I haven't been out of town and became low on cake domes so I visited the local store on 03/04/17. I had not placed an order but figured I would try since it's been a while since I've tried to make a purchase for domes at my local store. I consulted with a store manager after being told by the bakery staff that they only had 2 boxes and couldn't spare one. The store manager didn't do anything except ask the staff like I did (should have gone to confirm the number of boxes). I am going to attempt to make an order and pick them up, but the store needs to have a unified policy. I don't understand why I can go to other towns and not have a problem making a purchase but can't get them locally even after placing an order.
parking lot liability
My car was damaged in late December, 2016 in my Freehold, NJ Sam's parking lot by two runaway shopping carts on a windy day. Sam's insurance company refused to pay for repairs, and I lost an appeal with the same insurance company. They just decided that they are not liable. So I refuse to shop there any longer - they lose about $7, 000.00 a year in sales for a claim of $528.01 - a poor business decision, in my opinion.
