Wheel damage
We have purchased our tires from Sam's Club for years. In May of this year (2015, yes it took until September for them to contact us on the claim). Our wheel was damaged when they repaired a flat. We went to the manager and told them what happened and she came out and took pictures. The person that did the flat repair denied doing any damage. As I worked...

The employees at Sams in St. Charles are horrible. The early am is bad enough, there are never enough checkers. They miss the bus, oversleep etc. (not my problem). Now I refuse to go back. I Quit! I have complained several times on the phone. Check out your checkers! My last visit was at 6pm last night. They laugh, giggle, they are rude, they huddle together and visit all at one lane. There was not one white checker. I have been a member since Sam first opened. I do not understand how you can have all blacks and no whites. These employees take the bus from the city, where did all the good checkers go? I am making a complaint it is not equal employment to have all blacks. This was my sams, in my neighborhood. Now it is a black getto store. I would like to be notified. Leslie Schnaible with Pattys Catering [protected] This used to be all a great store. Your employees yell from the front door to the checkers, acting like they would at home or on the streets. These people are ruining this store and chasing people other places. I have been using self check for a long time, but last night I wanted to make a payment first. I could not do that at a self check.
terrible no service at all
I purchased an Xbox one as a Christmas gift for my son on 12/14/2013. I also purchased the service plan. My son informed me the Xbox was not working properly and was randomly shutting off. I contacted Sams service plan to start the service order on 2/23/2014 was told I would have shipping label in 2 hours, then 24 hour then 48 hours. Then 3-5 business days. Guess what today is 3/11/2015 and I am still waiting on the shipping label and for a shipping supervisor to contact me. I just want the product I purchase repaired with the plan I paid for to have it repaired. How hard is it to email or mail a shipping label? I will not be purchasing and electronics in the future from Sams Club.
Maybe if you taught your son to take care of his things you would not be in this situation.
defective product
Purchased 2 boxes of contact lenses and when I opened the first box, the foil seemed different (almost appeared crinkled or weathered). After wearing the lens for a few hours, my eye began to burn and felt like I had glass in it. Took the lens out and threw it away and put another one in. The same results. Took the lens out again, and changed it with the one that was in my other eye (an older lens), thinking it was an issue with my eye. Immediately the other eye began to hurt and feel like it was being scratched. I went to Sam's Club to return the lenses (I opened the other box and the foil looked the same so I didn't even bother to try one of the lenses from that box). The man who was at the counter (who sold me the lenses in the first place) shrugged his shoulders and said there is nothing they can do for me because I opened the boxes. Had I not opened the boxes, I wouldn't have known there was a problem. I asked if there was something he could do to hold me over until I was able to replace the prescription and he said there was nothing he can do and he doesn't know what to tell me. I told him when I ordered from 1-800-contacts for the past 5 years and had one similar problem, they immediately replaced my prescription. He again shrugged and said "this isn't 1-800-contacts". I was sent on my way with a scratched eye and 2 boxes of defective contact lenses. I am tempted to cancel my membership to Sam's Club based on this incident.
injury
Well this day did not go as planned for sure. We were going to buy our new phones, so we went to Verizon first, then went to Sam's Club to buy our iPhone's, well as we were leaving, they had a leak in their ceiling and as you go out, there was some water on the floor, the wet sign I guess they had out had been pushed to the side and didn't cover the water puddle, so I sure fell, right flat on my face, broke my glasses and ended up with a big knot above my eye with a cut, so needless to say I ended up in urgent care, they took an ex-ray of my head and eye to make sure nothing was broken. The whole ordeal took all afternoon. Why don't stores if they know they have leaks in their ceilings and are putting puddles of water on the floor, WHY NOT FIX THE LEAK. One of the clerks, even said she fell over here where the leak is, well so they knew that...? I am very thankful I was not hurt more seriously but wonder if it had been an elderly person and they could have been hurt badly. When I was walking out two ladies asked if I had fallen, and I said yes, the one said well I fell last week ended up with a busted knee. What is wrong with Sam's Club...how many people have to fall before they fix this leak? I am very upset right now. I do feel blessed I am okay, but still upset that this happened because of Sam's Club's negligence. Remember when you are in Sam's Club watch your step. What a day...should have just stayed at home!
credit card acct manipulation
On or about Oct 3 2013, I visited the Sam’s Warehouse Club in Rock Hill. While at the checkout, the cashier asked if I would like my Discover Credit card combined with my Sam’s Club membership card in order to make checkout more convenient for them and me. This sounded like a good idea to me and they offered a $20.00 dollar incentive to make that change.
I was sent to the customer service desk to accomplish this change. I waited until it was my turn and shortly a young lady offered her assistance and I explained why I was there. Their computer system went down in the entire store before she was able to complete the task. I waited approximately 30 minutes and eventually left the store.
Approximately 3 weeks later, I received a combination Sam’s Club membership / Discover Card in the mail. I proceeded to use this card just like I had always used my Discover card and paid off the balance every month. Sometime around the middle of July 2014, I received a statement from MasterCard with my Discover Card charges on it.
After calling Discover bank and others, I found out that “my Discover card” was not combined with my Membership card. A new account was created by Sam’s Club and their new bank. The account was created with (Synchrony Bank aka: GECRB). In turn, after several months Synchrony Bank converted that “Discover Card” to a MasterCard and transferred my Discover Card charges to that account.
I refused to pay that statement as long as it was on a MasterCard statement and told Synchrony bank that I would happily pay the balance if was billed properly on a Discover Card statement. They have refused to do this. They have continued to send statements every month with interest and late fees added. I have received several phone calls demanding payment. They have reported to the credit agencies that I am delinquent on my Sam’s Discover Card account. This account no longer exists and on which they refuse to bill me.
When I asked by what authority they created this account in my name, they say that they told me on previous statements that they were going to do this. During this time, I was distracted by a severe physical problem and a fight with my insurance company. I had a ruptured disc in my neck putting pressure directly on my spinal cord and was distracted to say the least
I believe that no one has the right to use my information to create any account anywhere or anytime without my express permission. I do not have a MasterCard account.
I was deceived by Sam’s Club, when they claimed that they were combining my Discover Card with my membership card. I had the Discover Card for many years and was very happy with it. That card was with Discover Bank.
While talking to Discover Bank, I found out that the long term relationship that had existed for many years between Sam’s Club and Discover bank no longer existed. (For many years, Discover Card was the only credit card that Sam’s would accept.)
I believe it is apparent that Sam’s Club and Synchrony bank conspired to use this scheme to steal as many Discover Card customers as possible and used deception and possibly illegal means to do so.
My objections to these events are many:
1) I was deceived at the outset by Sam’s Club and by extension, Synchrony bank
2) A MasterCard account was created in my name without my permission
3) Synchrony bank is reporting that I am delinquent on an account that they closed without my permission and refuse to accept payment on.
4) MasterCard is an institution with which I refuse to do business. Several years ago, someone fraudulently stole $1035.00 from my VISA account. I reported the theft to the local law enforcement and a detective was assigned. He looked into the situation and found that the money was transferred to a MasterCard account whose owner lived in New Jersey (no name or address). He informed me that MasterCard refused to cooperate with the investigation and He was at a dead end. I will never voluntarily do business with MasterCard.

Not sure why you refused to make payments for charges that you made?
they'll take your money, but never make let alone ship your order
On 9/19, I ordered for a Serta Roma Premium Memory Foam Mattress - King. Estimated delivery time was 10-12 business day. Later that say, I received a voice mail Home Direct USA saying that they received notification of the order for delivery, that I should expect a call in 2-3 business days from the delivery terminal, and that I should call the terminal directly if I had not heard anything after 3 days.
I heard nothing.
On 9/26, I received an email from Sam's Club that said my order was shipped. It lied. It was never shipped. It never even made it to production I found out later
On 9/29, I called the distribution center in case they were waiting on me as I never heard from them. They weren't. They hadn't received my mattress but it was suppose to come in later that day. It didn't. Or the next day. Or the day after that. I give Home Direct a call on 10/1. They don't know what's up either and never call me back. Same excuse and no call back on 10/3.
With no one calling me back, I call SamsClub.com support line. They say something doesn't look right, say they'll talk with someone, and then never call me back. Same thing happens Monday 10/6 at lunch time when I talk to someone. Promise to email me back, but never do. I call again that evening and talk with someone for over a half hour only to find out that Serta closed for the day and they can't do anything.
This morning, 10/7, I wake up to check the status of my order on the Serta Pro Tracker. Lo and behold, I see not one, not two, but THREE orders out there although it looks like the first two are just duplicates of each other. The 3rd order is a new one and it has a submission date of 5:25. Not sure what time zone that is for so it was either send during my call the previous evening or after I got off the phone, but either way maybe I actually got through to someone who could do something sometime during the day Yesterday. Finally something happend. Wait...does that mean my 10-12 business days gets reset and I'll now have to wait another two weeks for it to be delivered?
So I call again just a little bit ago. I get to repeat the story yet again. So I try to go through it one last time. The rep puts me on hold and talks with whoever and comes back and says that it technically wasn't supposed to be delivered until tomorrow blah blah blah but yeah the order was resubmitted as the manufacturer had a problem. They ran out of supplies.
So it has taken over two weeks of waiting, reaching the end of my delivery period, for someone to actually tell me that Serta, the largest manufacturer in the country ran out of supplies for an order to the largest retailer in the world? Right... Thanks for not communicating it right away, lying that it shipped, and then not informing me until after I beg for information.
So I cancelled my order. Or at least I think I did because apparently you can change my card instantly, but it takes 10-15 days for a refund to happen. You can keep the mattress if it ever gets shipped, and you can cancel and refund my membership as I won't be needing it anymore. Costco apparently wants my business more. It does give me satisfaction knowing that instead of the dozen or so people I've told of my great previous experience, I'll know there will be even more people that I'll tell of the atrocious experience I just had.
customer service
This customer service is rude. Mike is a stupid hill Billy in customer service. I asked for his manager and he rudely hung up me. Over the years this company has been terrible. This company does not care about their customers. They care more about t
he employees then their customers. They have people that have no clue what they are doing. I have ceased doing all business with this stupid company.

I've worked for Sam's Club close to a year one. iI am a very good worker. just like any other employee i have my times where I have good/bad customers. and inave my good/bad days. i have had. customers complain about me to managed and customers praise me also. recently the head manager, Dave, had do my departments schedule and only give me 1 day to work which was 8 hours. okay i havent thought anything of it. then now, i take a look at the schedule and see that I have NO HOURS at all for the third weeks schedule...? what does that mean? am i getting fired? are they planning on firing me when two weeks are up? i do my job. whenever they need me, i am there. recently i was out of work due to the flu, i brought documentation to prove so. even though i wasnt feeling well, i still went to work. and management knew so. are they allowed to have me work for two weeks then fire me on the third? if they are planning on firing me, then shouldnt. they already have done so...?

alcohol policy
I went to sam's club today with my 20 year-old sister (I'm over 21, important detail). I picked up a bottle of alcohol and some other stuff. When I was at the register I've got an unpleasant surprise. I was not able to purchase alcohol because my sister is not 21 years old. So if you want to do grocery shopping at sam's club and purchase alcohol you better not take your underage kids with you. Maybe I should open some kind of babysitting center right next to sam's club and charge by minutes?
I wasted time on picking up the alcohol because I haven't seen any information regarding this idiotic policy anywhere around the liqour area. Several hours later I still can't wrap my mind around how a person/people who implemented this policy could pass elementary school, high school, college, and then climb their way through a corporate ladder. The only other option which still makes me lose a faith in a humanity but which makes sam's club seem less stupid is that they made up this policy because they received some kind of government grant. Oh well, I won't purchase any alcohol from sam's club ever again and I consider dropping my membership because what can I say, I just can't stand stupidity.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I experienced the same issue today. I am 51 years old and my wife is 49 years old. We were denied the right to purchase a 24 pack of mikes alcohol drinks because she didn’t have her drivers license with her (I had, and produced mine). Insane policy! Very upset with sams club!
no sams share bonus
Well lets see I have worked at sams club for over a year I started last year right after the cut off for our sams share which is a yearly bonus. I just found out about a month ago we are not getting a bonus while all the other clubs. Or stores are getting one. Up to 1200 bonus. They didn't factor in that Costco moved across the street and the didn't factor in the economy. But yet all the managers and the assistant managers get up to a 2500 bonus how is that fair when the associates help bring in all the money. Be warned before you start working there that you are going to be screwed.

cashier who is rude and lied/ would not accept temporary pass
I was going to check out the new Sam's Club that just opened nearby before I purchased a Club membership. I was going to apply for the Sam's Club credit card but it said that I had to purchase a membership before I applied for the credit card, so I decided to apply for a temporary pass to see if the membership would be worth my money. When I first went into Sam's Club I was scolded for entering the Photo Center, I told the lady I was just looking for future purchases. Secondly my husband asked another employee if an item was in stock, she looked at him in a nasty manner and basically told him to get lost. I received a temporary member number and I was going to purchase some items at the new Sam's Club, but a cashier in the self-service lane came out of nowhere and was very hostile. We said that we had a temporary number and she tried to enter it and it would not work, she then became extremely rude and insinuated that we were doing something underhanded. I said that I went online and considered purchasing a membership online and she lied and told me that no one could purchase a membership online, that was a complete lie because I was thinking of buying one before I applied for the credit card. I went back home and sure enough one can purchase a membership online. In this economy why are employing rude, New Yorkers that look like they belong in a trailer park. Surely they could have found a better caliber of employee than this rude, lying, nasty person.

walmart & sams club are racist businesses!!
The new Sams Store; has lousy, racist & incompetent managers and staff- they haven't even opened up yet, and they have recieved numerous complaints from people in Aiken County, for unfair & discriminatory hiring policies. Deliberately hiring inexperienced women and Caucasians for managerial jobs, while hiring African-American men who are highly qualified & experienced for jobs that are demeaning, underpaid, and positions which many are clearly overqualified for! Plus, many hard workers are simply denied employment based on religious preference, their job applications are deliberately lost, unqualified Sams Club managers deliberately discriminate against any African-American man who has excellent retail experience (which usually intimidates incompetent company managers), -and racial discrimination! Which, in a way all makes perfect sense, because the City of Aiken, is well-known for government corruption, racism, and social injustice! So I guess, The Wal-mart/Sams Family, feel right at home in KKK-Land!
rude and threatened to hit me
My wife and I shop sams club regularly and sometimes they have food samples to share. This particular Lady shouted to us, try a sample of this.I believe it was some sort of sweets. We walked over to her and I picked up one and she started screaming at me that is one I am dividing up, so I decided to set it back down and she screamed (oh no don't set it back down it is all germs.) I set it back down anyway and told her she can keep it, I don't want it.She threw it in the trash.I was so embarrassed. We left. Now about three months later we were in the store again and the same Lady in the meat dept. shouted come try some bratwurst samples, so we decided to try it.my wife was in front and picked up a sample and I was on the side and picked one up and all hell broke loose again.I did not recognize her at first. She screamed you picked it up from the side, germs, It makes me want to hit you.I was so embarrassed again and wanting to hit me.I am thinking about hiring an Atttorney with $2, 500, 000.00 law suit.
sorry stupid, you aint gonna get that much. i see law suites with sams all the time, and you'd be lucky to get 3, 000, but most likely you won't get anything, shell just get fired. People like you are why other countries think Americans are stupid, and you bring back the phrase "sue happy".
new store - same racism & job discrimination tactics
Sam's is owned by the same Wal-mart Corporation; notorious for cases involving racial discrimination, immoral feminism, unethical & unfair business policies, rampant job discrimination based on race & gender, mistreating minority customers, lousy customer services, and business corruption! The new Sams Store; sadly, is no different, they haven't even opened up yet, and they have recieved numerous complaints from people in Aiken County, for unfair & discriminatory hiring policies. Deliberately hiring inexperienced women and Caucasians for managerial jobs, while hiring African-American men who are highly qualified & experienced for jobs that are demeaning, underpaid, and positions which many are clearly overqualified for! So I guess, The Wal-mart/Sams Family, feel right at home in KKK-Land!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Wal-Mart store managers (mostly incompetent & lazy women) at these locations are known for refusing to hire qualified African-American men, to work at inside their stores, deliberately hiring mostly unqualified or inexperienced women (who deliberately hog up all of the jobs & discriminate against men). The Wal-Mart are usually incomepetent, rude. hostle toward new-hires and minority customers, and the Augusta & Aiken Wal-Mart stores have been sued more times than any other department store in America (second only to Dillards, Sears/K-Mart, & Roses)! And has more lawsuits filed against them for racial discrimination and very poor customer service!
mis-use of members info
Beware of Sam's Club! I recently met a woman that works at Sam's. We shared lunch, went to the flea market together--nothing serious at all, just strictly friends. She suggested I get a Sam's membership--I'd save a lot of money on things. I did so.
she works at the membership desk and as such, apparently has the ability to poke around member's info without anyone caring. For I recieved an email from her telling me she no longer wished to hang with me... and then she preceded to tell me my life history, that I have tickets on my DL... and asked who the girl was on my club membership...
when I complained to Sam's that she had copied my membership info (my membership is under my first name, which I don't use... she, and my friends know me by my middle name--so, the only way she would know the first name is that she went into the members files and just stuck in the last name & looked over the info of everyone with the same last name until she matched my DL pic & info) and ran a back ground check on me... they said they'd check on it.
end result? she is still in the membership section... still free to scan the member's info on the next guy that she meets, still free to use that info to run a (private) background check on him...
the last time I was in there, she was on the floor (going to the break room?) and told me it would be "best for me" if I didn't come back... that she might inform management that I was a stalker... so, I cancelled my card...
beware of Sam's
Their rotisserie chicken for $4.50 is a bargain. The chickens are huge and very tasty. Other then that, yup...not much of a selection.
sams club is bad. I gave up my membership. The selection is bad. cashiers have a bad attitude. They boss over you.
employee
My name is Greg. I am a cashier at Sam's Club. My managers constantly pressure my coworkers(cashiers) and me to get members(customers) to sign up for Sam's credit cards and Sam's Plus cards to recieve cash rewards such as getting $10 back for every $500 spent. The problem is that the Sam's Plus card cost $55 in addition to $45 for a regular membership card...

Went to replace truck battery. The technician HUGO pulled in my truck with the parking brakes on and there was a lot of burning smell when I picked up my truck about an hour later. Get this over an hour later. Hugo the technician was very insulting and told me that they had probably burnt the clutch or the brakes while driving my truck with the stick shift and he declined all responsibility for this. Complained to the management, and they documented the issue. Got a call from their claims department today and they flatly stated that they were not negligent - Case Closed. I was informed that it was my responsibility to get my truck checked and fixed at my cost and then "TRY" for a claim and refund. How is this even ethically correct?

fraudulent advertising
Many people went to the Sam's Club website on Wed. Nov. 21 at 10 pm central; 11 pm eastern, to order Black Friday sale items at their online sale. About 5-10 minutes in, at the end of my purchase, I was hit with a screen saying the system was down. Going to the Sam's Facebook page I found out the same had happened to all. I was finally able to get in about 40 minutes later. Made my purchase, paid, and received a confirmation email with order number. Tonight I receive an email telling me the order was cancelled they did not have enough of the item. Apparently MANY people received the same email. Calling customer service led to many hang ups on the customer by the service reps. In response to my online (Facebook) complaints I was told to call customer service at 6am tomorrow morning. Did I mention they charged every one's credit cards and checking accounts? This company is a fraud and a sham. We pay money for membership and they treat us like garbage. STAY AWAY from this company!
You are right...I was stupid. Won't happen again...I am done!
Nella, you are looking to get a pull ticket to begin with. I went to my local Sam's Club Wednesday night to ask questions about the $0.96 Samsung Galaxy 3S to make sure I knew what to do come Friday [Southgate, MI Sam's Club #6412]. I made sure to talk to someone at the cell phone kiosk area. I asked what carriers, they were AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. I get an employee discount through my work for Verizon plans, so I was happy. I asked about quantity to know when I should show up. She said everyone in line before they opened (7AM) would get the deal (pull tab to come back at appointment time though). I said I wanted two (1 blue, 1 white). She said they received a huge shipment and not to worry about missing out on getting exactly what I wanted. I showed up early, was about the midpoint of the line... not a lot of people at all either (maybe 100). I have seen the parking lot full on normal days before and it wasn't but maybe 10-15% full on Black Friday before I left. At around 6:30A, an associate was walking down the line and advising that they were sold out of Verizon already. Not even open yet and already sold out? Needless to say about a quarter of the people left before the store was even open. I didn't research AT&T plans before going because I was advised Wednesday to not worry about missing out. Not really mad about missing the $0.96 phones, just mad about being lied to when I did the right thing by researching what exactly to do beforehand.
I was one of the crazy Black Friday Sam's Club shoppers, store 8192.
Went to purchase a Samsung Galaxy Siii cell phone for 96¢. Stood in line for 2 hours for a PULL TICKET. Then, I was asked to return at 4 pm to activate my cell phones. Returned at 3:30 PM, I was asked to come back Sunday (2 days later).
Spent 6 hours in Sam's Club...no phone, no service and return in 2 days! This happen to at least 100 other customers! 2 clerks to activate accounts :(
You are stupid to expect anything else from Walmart Corporation! Since Sam Walton died, his evil ### kids took over and are nothing more than greedy, money hungry demons who will do and say anthing to anybody to squeeze a dollar out of you!
Target isnt perfect, but at least the people there treat you like you matter.
property damage
My vehicle was damaged in Sams club parking lot after a bad storm several months ago in Gastonia N. C. The parking lot attendants left carts all over the lot while fleeing from the rain . My car received $ 1500.00 dollars in damages . A claim was submitted on site . Sams club management and their insurance company reps refuse to address this issue . All the insurance company need to do is view the security cameras film . My car was damaged due to your lot attendants neglect . Please, can you do the right thing . J. Mike
