The way this company treats its employees is disgusting. I don't know how the owner of the franchise can sleep at night. Threatening people's positions of employment with them is in know way motivational or going to make people happy working for them. They need to get their prioities strsight. They should be glad they get any customers at all instead of the whole force feeding credit down everyones throats and making life hell, for their employees who have trouble adhereing to their unreasonable demands. With the economy the way it is their lucky anyone sets foot in their store at all and are very lucky if anyone actually buys anything from them much less uses a credit card in their store. They need to see reality. People don't want credit they don't want to end up in det and companies don't like to issue a lot of credit out of fear they will not get paid. They need to change the horrendus way they deal with their buisness period!

sears was called to repair a dishwasher. They charged me $70 for the in home visit. They quoted me $470 to repair the pump. I said I could buy a new dishwasher for that price, and I did. Six months later, I discover by chance that the part was indeed under warranty! So I spent $1000 for a new dishwasher. That was fraud! Sears says that there is nothing they can do to help me.

My billing date is never on the same date or week every month. I pay my bills online and because of all the moving around that I do with my job. I have no way of always knowing the due day. This month I paid a few weeks early. The bill was 66.66 and I paid 66.00 I did'nt notice the 66 cent. I cannot beleive that I was charged 39.00 dollar late charge for not paying 66 cent. I was told that they could not help me. I closed my account right there. I am asking for anyone who's had problem with sear to close their accounts. crazy interest anyway. I will be pushing my friends and family to close there account too.

LunaTec, He called you because he has a dozon other refridgerators or large appliances to deliver on that same day. He also called to confirm that you'd be there because if you weren't there when he showed up, he would 1. Have to load the thing more than once, 2. Waste his time after loading it up and driving to your house, and finally, 3. His performance stats actually go down when inconciderate customers aren't there when they say they will be.
As for getting rescheduled? He probably requested it after you threw a fit on the phone. He's only human and even though, just an installer, he deserves a little bit of common decency...

Warning! Sear's brand appliances have lost their quality! And Sear's repair services can not handle the load they must handle in addressing their growing amintainence woes!
Do your research people! Ask repair people what machines they work on most! Ask what brands names are actually from Sears! Do your homework and save yourself the frustration and lost time that I have had with Sears products!

While waiting for a supervisor, I then somehow got transfered to another department. I then gave up. I have been going around in circles now for an hour and a half. My question was easy. What's the warranty on my Sears fence. Also, is there a record of a survey done?

Sears home service was contacted on Oct. 13, to repair a TV. Rep came on The 21st ordered parts and could not return until Nov.2. Sears called on Sunday 11/1 to cancel and next earliest is 11/11 almost a month after the initial call. I called customer service and got a sympathetic voice and that is all. Truly I will never use this service again nor will I do business with this company again.

I've been stood up 6 times now! Do not buy a sears product! The people in customer service either yes you to death or hang up on you! How many times does someone have to take off from work to be stood up? at what point is an apology appropriate and a service tech actually shows up to fix something that they sent boxes of parts to your house that are sitting there for 6 weeks?

They advertised sales on some of their clothing and I believed them. I ordered the clothes before the expiration date of the sales and they NEVER took the sale price. I ended up paying full price.

I have been complaining about my Sears Oasis washer and dryer for over a year.
I don't even bother calling for service anymore, since the tech said there is nothing he can do.
I also called that number, but all I get is "The service technician reports that the machines are working under manufacturers guidlines.
So what does that mean, just because the manufacturer says the poor quality is accecptable, I should accept that?
My clothes smell, they are wearing prematurely, towels are tearing, and my clothes are never completely dry, I have to put the dryer on 2 and 3 times.
It's terrible, especially after spending so much money on new and improved so called energy savers.

Today, we called to make an appointment for repair of our Kenmore washer. When connected to the call center it was very hard to understand their representative. English was not his language. Obviously the call center is located outside the US.

Sears is a scam. We spent good money on Sears' Kenmore/Whirlpool range ($1, 186.40) and immediately had problems with the unit and even more problems trying to get Sears to stand behind their product. I was willing to complete the 7 question survey but never could find it. Jorge tech 93/329 was a great help in fixing the refrigerator unlike the 2 who installed it and didn't put the filter in correctly and cause it to leak all over my hardwood floor. I had terrible serivce from the installation and also repair departments and finally went into the store and talked to a mamager. Noreen was great help in solving the problem.

Third successive call for warranty service on the same product - and Sears acts like its our first call ("we can have someone there btw 1 and 5 a week from Monday") First call: late May, serviced on June 4. Second call: June 4 (two hours after repairman left), serviced on June 12. Third call (June 13 9 am); earliest repair - a week from Monday. This is Sears Warranty Service.

Sears has the worst repair service of any company I know. Mainly problems with their own products. Hours on the phone, repairs that do not work and lemon guarantee that means nothing. We bought a dryer in at a California store and paid for delivery and setup (attachment) and we were offered a rebate for the delivery and setup. We bought the dryer for our summer home in Massachusetts. When they delivered the dryer they told us they aren't allowed by law to set up the dryer... only deliver it... they couldn't even take the old dryer away because they aren't allowed to disconnect the old dryer. So it cost us another $145 to get the dryer hooked up. The Sears store was nice enough to offer to take $65 off the price we paid for the dryer. However, the rebate for $75 was refused because when they took the $65 off for the hassle, it brought the overall price of the dryer down below the rebate minimum. So we paid $75 for delivery and hookup because they offered a rebate of all that money, then gave us a discount after they couldn't fulfill the hookup, which then took away any rebate. So by being nice and giving us $65 off, we ended up paying $10 more... plus the $145 we didn't expect to pay at all. We were happy to deal with the extra cost if we got the $75 rebate for delivery and set up we were promised.

they just replqaced the main board on fridge now it is shot.. my wife died 5 days ago and i have 9 kids under the age of 18 and they tell me it will be a freaking week and 1/2 before they can come out i go through 2 gallons of milk per day, i have tons of food left over from the funeral and they cant make some sort of exception? crap for service and crap for searas products

I cannot believe how little the Customer Service "dept" cares about ANYONE or ANYTHING. It's bad enough that they send out ANY technician even if the guy has very little service experience on your appliance!
I've had lots of little things go wrong with my 2003 Kenmore side by side - this last round - the food freezes up and can't be controlled by the settings - you think that would be an EASY FIX? Think again.
Now we're in the rounds of waiting for 2 more parts as my food freezes over. I'm going out to buy ice cream for dinner for the week, that's all I can keep init.

Bought a gas range on Sunday had it delivered on Tuesday. Tried to use it Tuesday evening problems when using back burner. Got a replacement delivered today, replacement is worse than the first one! All burners trip the electrical component. No resolution yet. I have talked to 13 departments so far. I am looking into possible complaints against the installers licenses to try and get some resolution this way.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes online from the Sears website and only received 1 pair. I called and the computer said it showed 2 pairs on the invoice, my guess is that someone in the shipping dept screwed up, but since it showed 2 pairs on the invoice there was nothing I could do. I will not be purchasing anything from Sears for a long, long time.

Hate to be the one to tell you, Sears does not have "its own products". Sears is a store just like your local grocery store. Does your grocery store grow the fruits and veggies? Does it raise the cattle to milk and make burgers out of? Does it can the Spam? Nope. Your grocer buys products from their makers and sells them to you. Sears does the same thing. There is no Sears factory somewhere turning out appliances in some third world country. Sounds like you have a problem with GE, LG, Whirlpool, Electrolux, or someone else.

You should have a full 90 days to have it replaced if it isn't working FROM THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE ON THE FIRST ITEM. You should only call the technicians when it is outside the return policy, because after the return policy is when you HAVE to go through the warranty process. And AGAIN, If its within 90 days, you can have that option to have it replaced, no if's, ands, or buts about it. If you talked to your original associate who helped you and he told you needed to call service, DO NOT do that, get it replaced and talk to their Brand Central Manager about it.

Horrible! I went downstairs to check out a few mattresses, There was a tall male sales rep that didn't bother to ask if I needed any help. I ignored it. I paid close to $600 for a dishwasher in April 2009 and now it doesn't drain and it is starting to smell. I called customer service and they can't send anyone to look at it until 3 weeks from now which is unacceptable. Apparantly Sears will not stand behind the products that they sell.

I bought a Sears convection oven and dishwasher 5 years ago. The oven still works but does not cook evenly and has two strange white streaks running down the glass window. The dishwasher had to be repaired within a few months. Before the warranty was up, the entire computer panel had to be replaced. The upper drawer broke and then the water valve flooded, ruining my wood floor. Dont ever buy Sears products.

Disgusting is putting it lightly. I was visiting my son at the Sears in Md and over heard the stores head manager really treating one of the women there very badly. He had the lady in tears because of critit haps. My son said she is the manager for the cash wraps and this goes on 24 seven. My son wont let me tell which store it is because he's afraid of trouble. This manager has been heard many times yelling at the women workers for some time now, I wouldn't be bothered by this but, I've been there and heard the man befor. Sears really should check out some of these head managers and see how they treat thier assoc. Sad to say i'm going to make this my business and check in more of this guys ways. An update they set the employees up so they can get rid of them cause they can not afford to pay them. Managers get away with anything. Your not allowed to ever call in sick they use it against you. A person I know was set up buy them. They put in two weeks in advance for a day off. the manager oked it said they woulsd get another person to take the shift., the store manager refused to let the girl come over and take the shift so they call this person a know show. They demean and put down their emplotess. The reason customer service is bad is becasue the employees are treated like crap. The store managers make up anything to write up just cause they do not like a person. Another person I know was hired part time and it only schelued for one day a week. She complained to the complaints phone number nothing happens. That manager told her she schedules her like that cause she can. Sears is run buy natzis. its a dictator ship needs to go out of buisness real bad.

A month after purchasing two sofas from Sears they have not been shipped and no one will explain why. Customer service reads from a script and wishes me a happy day. This is just rediculous and highway robbery. Their on site add still after all of this time says 'in-stock and availavle for shipping. Customer service has actually told me to find it myself.

sears was called to repair a dishwasher. They charged me $70 for the in home visit. They quoted me $470 to repair the pump. I said I could buy a new dishwasher for that price, and I did. Six months later, I discover by chance that the part was indeed under warranty! So I spent $1000 for a new dishwasher. That was fraud! Sears says that there is nothing they can do to help me.
My billing date is never on the same date or week every month. I pay my bills online and because of all the moving around that I do with my job. I have no way of always knowing the due day. This month I paid a few weeks early. The bill was 66.66 and I paid 66.00 I did'nt notice the 66 cent. I cannot beleive that I was charged 39.00 dollar late charge for not paying 66 cent. I was told that they could not help me. I closed my account right there. I am asking for anyone who's had problem with sear to close their accounts. crazy interest anyway. I will be pushing my friends and family to close there account too.
LunaTec, He called you because he has a dozon other refridgerators or large appliances to deliver on that same day. He also called to confirm that you'd be there because if you weren't there when he showed up, he would 1. Have to load the thing more than once, 2. Waste his time after loading it up and driving to your house, and finally, 3. His performance stats actually go down when inconciderate customers aren't there when they say they will be.
As for getting rescheduled? He probably requested it after you threw a fit on the phone. He's only human and even though, just an installer, he deserves a little bit of common decency...

Warning! Sear's brand appliances have lost their quality! And Sear's repair services can not handle the load they must handle in addressing their growing amintainence woes!
Do your research people! Ask repair people what machines they work on most! Ask what brands names are actually from Sears! Do your homework and save yourself the frustration and lost time that I have had with Sears products!
I wanted to let Sears know that I have sent letters to the Attorney General, The Better Business Bureau, and to Howard Ain the trouble shooter, to let them know about the way I was treated at your store in Chillicothe, Ohio today. Since I can't successfully get an address to write a letter I am left to use the inyrtnet.

While waiting for a supervisor, I then somehow got transfered to another department. I then gave up. I have been going around in circles now for an hour and a half. My question was easy. Sears home service was contacted on Oct. 13, to repair a TV. Rep came on The 21st ordered parts and could not return until Nov.2. Sears called on Sunday 11/1 to cancel and next earliest is 11/11 almost a month after the initial call. I called customer service and got a sympathetic voice and that is all. Truly I will never use this service again nor will I do business with this company again.
I've been stood up 6 times now! Do not buy a sears product! The people in customer service either yes you to death or hang up on you! How many times does someone have to take off from work to be stood up? at what point is an apology appropriate and a service tech actually shows up to fix something that they sent boxes of parts to your house that are sitting there for 6 weeks?

They advertised sales on some of their clothing and I believed them. I ordered the clothes before the expiration date of the sales and they NEVER took the sale price. I ended up paying full price.

I don't even bother calling for service anymore, since the tech said there is nothing he can do.
I also called that number, but all I get is "The service technician reports that the machines are working under manufacturers guidlines.
So what does that mean, just because the manufacturer says the poor quality is accecptable, I should accept that?
My clothes smell, they are wearing prematurely, towels are tearing, and my clothes are never completely dry, I have to put the dryer on 2 and 3 times.
It's terrible, especially after spending so much money on new and improved so called energy savers.
Today, we called to make an appointment for repair of our Kenmore washer. When connected to the call center it was very hard to understand their representative. English was not his language. Obviously the call center is located outside the US.
Not only being difficult to understand the representative the back ground noise was unbelieveably loud!

I was willing to complete the 7 question survey but never could find it. Jorge tech 93/329 was a great help in fixing the refrigerator unlike the 2 who installed it and didn't put the filter in correctly and cause it to leak all over my hardwood floor. I had terrible serivce from the installation and also repair departments and finally went into the store and talked to a mamager. Noreen was great help in solving the problem.
Third successive call for warranty service on the same product - and Sears acts like its our first call ("we can have someone there btw 1 and 5 a week from Monday") First call: late May, serviced on June 4. Second call: June 4 (two hours after repairman left), serviced on June 12. Third call (June 13 9 am); earliest repair - a week from Monday. This is Sears Warranty Service.

We bought a dryer in at a California store and paid for delivery and setup (attachment) and we were offered a rebate for the delivery and setup. We bought the dryer for our summer home in Massachusetts. When they delivered the dryer they told us they aren't allowed by law to set up the dryer... only deliver it... they couldn't even take the old dryer away because they aren't allowed to disconnect the old dryer. So it cost us another $145 to get the dryer hooked up. The Sears store was nice enough to offer to take $65 off the price we paid for the dryer. However, the rebate for $75 was refused because when they took the $65 off for the hassle, it brought the overall price of the dryer down below the rebate minimum. So we paid $75 for delivery and hookup because they offered a rebate of all that money, then gave us a discount after they couldn't fulfill the hookup, which then took away any rebate. So by being nice and giving us $65 off, we ended up paying $10 more... plus the $145 we didn't expect to pay at all. We were happy to deal with the extra cost if we got the $75 rebate for delivery and set up we were promised.

vehcile -grease on doors, hood, steering wheel, carpets and found old oil filter on vehicle, did not change out parts. asked for a manager and then sent out a loss prevention person that did nothing to help, just said sears was not paying for anything. will never go back
they just replqaced the main board on fridge now it is shot.. my wife died 5 days ago and i have 9 kids under the age of 18 and they tell me it will be a freaking week and 1/2 before they can come out i go through 2 gallons of milk per day, i have tons of food left over from the funeral and they cant make some sort of exception? crap for service and crap for searas products

I've had lots of little things go wrong with my 2003 Kenmore side by side - this last round - the food freezes up and can't be controlled by the settings - you think that would be an EASY FIX? Think again.

Bought a gas range on Sunday had it delivered on Tuesday. Tried to use it Tuesday evening problems when using back burner. Got a replacement delivered today, replacement is worse than the first one! All burners trip the electrical component. No resolution yet. I have talked to 13 departments so far. I am looking into possible complaints against the installers licenses to try and get some resolution this way.
I ordered 2 pairs of shoes online from the Sears website and only received 1 pair. I called and the computer said it showed 2 pairs on the invoice, my guess is that someone in the shipping dept screwed up, but since it showed 2 pairs on the invoice there was nothing I could do. Hate to be the one to tell you, Sears does not have "its own products". Sears is a store just like your local grocery store. Does your grocery store grow the fruits and veggies? Does it raise the cattle to milk and make burgers out of? Does it can the Spam? Nope. Your grocer buys products from their makers and sells them to you. Sears does the same thing. You should have a full 90 days to have it replaced if it isn't working FROM THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE ON THE FIRST ITEM. You should only call the technicians when it is outside the return policy, because after the return policy is when you HAVE to go through the warranty process. And AGAIN, If its within 90 days, you can have that option to have it replaced, no if's, ands, or buts about it. If you talked to your original associate who helped you and he told you needed to call service, DO NOT do that, get it replaced and talk to their Brand Central Manager about it.
Horrible! I went downstairs to check out a few mattresses, There was a tall male sales rep that didn't bother to ask if I needed any help. I ignored it. kenmore elite refrigerator light bulb got so hot it melted orange juice container on Labor Day. Have had repairmen here 3 times since then, still not fixed. this is a safety hazard.
I bought a Sears convection oven and dishwasher 5 years ago. The oven still works but does not cook evenly and has two strange white streaks running down the glass window. The dishwasher had to be repaired within a few months. Before the warranty was up, the entire computer panel had to be replaced. The upper drawer broke and then the water valve flooded, ruining my wood floor. Dont ever buy Sears products.

Disgusting is putting it lightly. I was visiting my son at the Sears in Md and over heard the stores head manager really treating one of the women there very badly. He had the lady in tears because of critit haps. My son said she is the manager for the cash wraps and this goes on 24 seven. My son wont let me tell which store it is because he's afraid of trouble.
