Both companies are engaged in deceptive practices. When you purchase sharis’ products, shari’s promises free shipping. Their web site asks you to fill out a customer profile and makes it look legitimate, giving the impression that you have provided shari your information, shari transfers the information to freeshipping.com who charges you a monthly fee of $12.99 to the credit card number that you provided to shari. If you do not check your credit card charges on a monthly basis, you will continue to get billed.
unacceptable product
I am extremely disappointed in what was received as a gift on order #ctrara1d5373. One dozen red roses were delivered 2 days ago. The picture attached is what they looked like when they arrived. The roses were immediately cared for upon receipt, with water and rose food added, along with the stems cut as directed. They were close to dead when they arrived. Then, the strawberries that were shipped were not what was displayed online. Online shows the strawberries large in size, covered 3/4 of the way in chocolate, and having a stem. The strawberries received were basically strawberry balls - covered all the way in chocolate, significantly smaller in size, and no stem. I have ordered from them several times in the past and have always been pleased. On this order I am not. These were sent for a birthday present. I would like a full refund. We will see how they respond. I would like to remain a loyal customer.

overbooked?
Ordered a Belgian chocolate edible card, 1 dozen roses, and chocolate covered berries on Sat. April 28 2012 for Mother who lives in Florida. Repeated the order the same date for Mother-in-law who lives in Michigan. Was promised that delivery would be Thursday May 10 for the card, Fri May 11 for the flowers and Sat May 12 for the berries. Order was placed online at the web site and paid for using a Bank Master Card debit/credit card. Received order confirmations by email a couple of hours later. Okay, yea for me, I took care of Mother's Day in a timely manner. But wait!... on Thursday, May 3, I had email waiting saying there was a problem/insufficent funds with my card. I should contact Sheri's Berries right away. Funny, my card was used both the day I placed the order, as well as every day since and no problems. A check with my bank showed that I still had a balance slightly over $1, 400. in my checking account and the card number on the confirmation was the same as the one on my card. To make a long story short, I called Sheri's Berries and, using an American Express credit card, thought I could just switch the method of payment. Oh no, not so easy. They were now out of the Belgian chocolate cards and couldn't honor the delivery date for the flowers or berries. The best they could do was deliver the flowers and berries on the same day, TUESDAY May, 8 for Mother's Day.
My problem is this; (A) How come a problem with my card even though it had plenty of funds, the correct number was used, and other merchants had no problems with it. (B) Why order confirmation if the card didn't go through? (C) Why wait from Saturday until Wednesday to alert me to a problem? (D)How come I had no chance to change the payment method before my order was canceled and supplies ran out as well as delivery date no longer available?
I believe that there NEVER was a problem with the card and it is a case of Sheri's Berries over-selling Mother's Day specials and having to find a way to cover their butts without admitting to it. By pushing the blame to the card and not giving me an opportunity to take care of the supposed problem, Mothers Day gifts are last minute plan B.
Oh well, like another person I didn't see negative comments on Sheri's Berries web site. I will not ever use them again. Buyer Beware.

quality of product
I had ordered a dozen swizzled berries for delivery on the 14th of february. They came on the 13th of february and sat out in the hot sun. Even though they were in a package with a cool pack in it. The berries had been ruined. It states that you should eat the product within 24 hours of receipt and we were not able to due to them not shipping on the proper...

Thought it would save me time in the kitchen by ordering thanksgiving dessert. I placed the order on nov. 4, 2011 and the morning of nov. 22, 2011 (the date I selected) one box arrived which was half of my order. Later that night, the other box arrived and I was horrified! Opened the box and a large number of bugs crawled out... I immediately threw the dessert away. I will never order from this site again!
I ordered flowers and some candies for the Valentine day from berries.com. The offered to delivery my purchase to my girlfriend’s address, so it was a surprise for her. But she didn’t receive it at all. Later I found out that they charged me for $ 95, but I needed to pay $ 45. I can’t reach them, because the robot answers to their phone. I left several messages, but they never called me back. Time wasters, don’t mess with them.
Ad says send candy for $19.95. They than add shipping handling etc. From $19.95 my order went to $45.00.
horrible product
Two shipments later the berries come crushed. These people have no idea how to ship a product. Just as bad as the horrible products pro-flowers sends out. Check out the attached picture. This is how the item was received.

Ordered six berries for my mother-in-law and a santa's workshop live christmas tree for my mother last week. My mother lives in a suburb of phoenix, az and my mother-in-law lives in the same city as I do, elko, nv.. Both products were on special for $19.99 and the freight was listed as $9.99 for each order. Seemed like a fair price for the tree and little steep on the berries, but what the heck it's part of their christmas. As you proceed through the order process, near the end I noticed that there was an additional freight charge of $9.99 on each order. The charge was listed as a "rural" delivery fee. That makes each order $19.99 for the product and an additional charge of $19.99 for shipping! Neither location is "rural", both are located on a major interstate highway and have full facilities of all the major delivery companies, ups, fed ex etc. I order frequently from dozens of companies and I have never been charged a additional fee for freight. As I started to cancel the order a box pops up and says that I will receive up to a $15.00 rebate after I place the order. O.K., now a freight charge of $4.99 seems more than reasonable, so I place the order.
Here's where the scam kicks in. To receive the "rebate" you have to subscribe for services with another company that offers you a 30 day free trial and then bills the credit card info you have to provide $30.00 per month. Oh, and the rebate is on a future order! They will not cancel the order once it is placed, which is why they have the rebate available after the order is placed. I chose not to be manipulated into signing up for a service I did not want. It seemed better to just eat the outrageous charges and never do business with such a unethical company. But no, they weren't done. I received e-mail after e-mail from the company offering the rebate telling me I still had time to take advantage of their incredible offer. I even received a e-mail at work.
The tree I sent to my mother was as advertised and delighted my mom. It actually came from proflowers.com.
Sharie's berries is actually part of a multicompany corporation consisting of pro flowers, pro flowers international, sharie's berries, red envelope and cherry hill farms. Beware of the business practices of all these companies.
The berries to my mother-in-law were terrible. The size was small to medium and the berries were overripe.
$20.00 for six of these pathetic berries.
I put a review on their website and they didn't print it. They do have hundreds and hundreds of rave, 5 star reviews, but none that are negative or mention the shipping scam! Funny how that works.
I've gone out of my way to warn friends and coworkers about these companies and will continue to drive business away from these unethical crooks.
I went to sharis restaurant on 02/28/23 at 10 pm to find out they don’have a working heater. It felt like it was 44 degrees inside. The food was served cold and the service took forever. I am very dissatisfied with this restaurant. I have never been to a restaurant that was this cold. Completely not acceptable.

Strawberries were rotten/molded. Rotten, rotten.
Order was canceled with no notification. I watched the stupid shipping tracker all day in anticipation of the birthday surprise for my partners office. Came to late in the day and I had to call to find out. Such a disappointing experience.
Four and half-day in transit for mother's day, She didn't have a gift for mother's day. When it arrived they were melted and molted. I called customer service and was on hold for more than two hours and NEVER talk to a live person . Terrible
We receive chocolate covered strawberries each year from our kids. This year the strawberries were horrible. They were small not ripe, actually green and the chocolate taste horrible! So dissatisfied

I am extremely unhappy with this company. I asked for the delivery date of my moms mothers day gift to be either May 9th or May 10th. She received her gift on May 13th in a soaking wet box and everything inside of it was ruined and there was mold growing on the strawberries.
My dad ordered me Shari's Berries for my birthday and the chocolate was melted and the strawberries were warm. The box was wet on the bottom from the chocolate melting through the box.
The strawberries I ordered for my mom are not fresh. They are mushy and soft, which is very gross when it comes to strawberries. I would expect that they would be fresh. After trying 2 of them, both in the same condition, my mom has decided she doesnt want to even try to others in fear that they'll be rotten like these ones.
