Well, finally I got my refund from the Euro-Pro Steam Mop piece of crap!
Actually, the product was not near as bad as the company I was dealing with. I got the run around over and over. I made so many phone calls and kept being told it would be taken care of and I would receive my refund soon. I got the machine the middle of January and sent it back within a week and now, end of March, finally refunded! I discovered that each of the phone calls I made to inquire were going to India. After demanding to talk to a supervisor on my last call to them, I was given the number of the Shark Company, which is [protected]. If you are having the same hassle take it from me and start with this number. The man was very cordial and matter of fact and within 2 weeks, I got my refund.

Running time
I was given a Shark Cordless SV800 vacuum as a Xmas present. There was NOTHING in the manual that indicated operating time other than the battery pack needed a 24 inital charge. The charging light went off after the 24hours and the vacuum worked well and ran for about 45 mins. before shutting down. However, after that first use and charging the battery pack again for 24 hours the charging light did not go off, so I insertedt the battery pack into the vacuum, but it ran for only 15 minutes. I presumed that the battery would not hold a charge and was defective, so I called the company. After a wait, I stated my complaint and was then transferred to another department. After a much longer wait I was told by someone in the Far East that at least a 10 to 12 HOUR CHARGE was necessary for the machine to run for 10 to 15 MINUTES. When I asked why the machine ran for 45 minutes the first time, there was no reason given but the prior answer was repeated twice more, presumably from a script. When i asked why there was nothing in the instruction manual about the battery light indicator or the charging and running time after the inital charge, I was again given the same first answer. Reluctantly I ordered an additional battery pack, which cost a total of $47.80, but after giving all the necessary shipping information, plus my credit card number, I was suddenly disconnected. I had to call back, and after another long wait, I reached someone in the Far East again. After being placed on hold, I was told my order had not gone through. I placed the order again, was placed on hold repeatedly and then told it would take 2 to 3 weeks for it to arrive. Also, i was given only an order number and no confirmation or follow-up intructions.
I am very upset with this company that apparently makes these SHARK vacuums. The ads and desciptions on the sides of the boxes, give one the impression of a wonderful product, e.g. "Customizing Comfort", but no indications that a long charging time was needed for an extremely short operating time. EURO-PRO needs to be more truthful in their promotional ads, manufacture for effective products, train their phone personnel to be more responsive to complaints and replace seemingly defective new parts immediately, so that customers to not have to pay for this company's communication errors.
I have a shark cordless and it will not hold a charge. My first one lasted for years. This is my second one it is junk.
Same here have a cordless and it will not hold a charge.
I have a shark cordless after having it 3 mons. it will not hold a charge at all, there will not be a shark product in this house again. Junk, Junk, Junk
My son also had purchased this Shark cordless vac and it did a great job so I purchased one. The battery life grew shorter and shorter with each charge for both of our vacs. My sons vac has died completely and mine is on its last days. 5 months for my sons vac and about 3 months for mine. I emailed the company on their website about the battery and asked for a discounted price for a new battery. I have not received an answer back, at this point I do not expect a response. I am very unhappy with the Shark brand and customer service. I will not be purchasing Shark ever again and cannot recommend it.
Steam mop stopped working
Let me add to the raft of complaints about the shark steam mop. Had it for a few months, and it simply does not produce steam. Customer service 'live chat' was useless (told me to plug it in and pump the handle — as if that wasn't painfully obvious.) then the person terminated the live chat. The customer service put me on hold, and no one every answered. This is truly an atrocious way to do business. Will never buy their products again, and will be sure to share my experiences with others contenplating such a purchase.

Burned my toes
I purchased the Shark Steam Mop set at Costco. I used it about 10 times or so before it stopped working this last time. I could tell it was hot where the water is but the mop itself wasn't. I kept mopping and pushing the handle down to see if the steam would start coming out. Suddenlty it POPPED very loudly and quickly from both sides where the plastic...

I ordered a steam mop for my mother. The ordering process gave several add on options at additional costs. I paid $35 for her mop to be delivered in one week. Then I ordered a steam mop for me. I did not pay for the fast delivery on my mop. Both mops were delivered on the same day, to my address. My mother is still waiting for hers because now I have to ship it to her. (she lives in a different state).
Stops working
The Shark Steam Cleaner works adequately...for about ten uses. At a purchase cost of $80.00 at Walmar, my cost for each use was $ 8.00. For that amount I could have purchased a quality mop...and made more judicious use of my cash. This company has the nerve to demand another ten dollars should the disgruntled customer expect some resolution. Why should I spend even more to acquire yet another faulty piece of plastic. And why does Walmart carry this junk ?

The Shark Steam Mop SUCKS! ...and definitely with all capital letters! I've had the mop for approximately 10 months. Suddenly, yesterday, I was cleaning my kitchen floors and the steam stopped producing. I unplugged it to check out the problem. When I pressed the button to release the lower attachment, it came flying off with SCORTCHING steam following behind. My fingers were badly burned (making me drop the entire mop with steam blowing out all over my kitchen). Once the steamed stopped, I was able to find out the problem ( why it stopped steaming and why so much steam was built-up inside of the nozzle). It was because the cheap plastic melted from the HOT steam and closed the holes completely. Therefore, when I hit the release button, all the built-up steam not only made the lower attachment fly off but burned my fingers so bad that, today, I have small blisters between my fingers. DO NOT purchase this product. If anyone knows any good lawyers that will take a case against SHARK, I am planning to file a lawsuit. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Dangerous and unsafe
I bought this steam iron and I am very unhappy with it. I just called the company and they cannot do anything about it. They are blaming my ironing board. It is unsafe and dangerous. When it is upright, it easily tips over and falls. I have had the iron for 10 months and I am more upset because it fell on the floor when I accidentally hit my ironing board last week. This is the second time it has fallen on the floor while it was heated. I cannot return to the retailer because I have had the iron too long. I know I should have returned the iron from the beginning, but it is now apparent that is unsafe.

After several months of use, the Shark iron stopped keeping the desired temperature and then sparked and flamed out. This iron is not comparable to other brand name products...Even if within the warrantee, i would not use another Shark iron product.
Ironmaiden
I bought a shark professional iron for my business thinking I had a good iron. WRONG. It drip water all over. I took it back to walmart thinking just one of those things. Walmart would only give part of the money I paid for it. But i got another one thinking there can't be two bad ones .Wrong again. I called the shark Co. and could'nt understand him. They offered me a new one I and i told him I did'nt want another piece of junk. They said they would not offer any money back. I think a recall is in order before someone gets hurt. Needless to say i will never purchase another product from Shark. Donna
Holy Crud. I just bought this used iron from goodwill at a price of 6.99.. It turns on alright. But it wont stay on for more than 15 sec.. I was on here [the internet..] looking for a solution. .. Your complaints Are the solution for this pos.
I purchased a shark professional iron, and it has been nothing but trouble it leaks from the bottom while i am ironing and now it has broken away from the swivel cord and stop working all together .I am trying to return it but form all the reviews I see it is a lost cause.I have had it only for a year and it was a replacement for another shark that quit after a few months, I think with enough bad review's maybe we can change the way shark handle there warranties and returns. sign not happy with shark!
I bought my Shark Rotator after watching the
infomercial on April 26 2014. They advertised that you had 60 days to try out the machine and if you did not like it, it was fully refundable including the delivery charge to send it back to them.. They would refund ALL monies if you were not satisfied. I took it one step further and went to their website. In bold letters it stated that if you were not satisfied, they would fully refund your money including the cost to ship it back to them. I called them today as this is not at all the vacuum that I thought it would be. Today's date is May 24 2014. They told me that they do not include the delivery fee, and I was mistaken, The website has now changed and there is no longer a contact number like before. This is clearly a case of bait and switch. I have asked for a supervisor to return my call as this is not what I signed up for.
We have a 6 month old shark professional iron. What junk! Started smoking and set the smoke alarm off. BOYCOTT SHARK. Not bothering with sending it in. Never ever ever buy shark products.
I just used my shark g1505 last night I have had it around 3 years it was working fine i turned it on this morning and green light came on but no heat it has just died after reading all these comments I see now that mine is toast and will be better off to buy a new different brand nothing sharp about this iron. Sharp products of any kind is history in this house.
Shark vacuums (I have two) are so wonderful that I thought I couldn't go wrong purchasing a Shark iron. Wrong! The iron is less than a year old yet the sole plate goes totally cold in the midst of ironing. Turn it off, back on, works for less than five minutes, same problem. The iron has never been dropped. I faithfully clean the iron and store it without kinking the cord. What a waste of money as I bought the top of the line. Guess I will go back to Rowenta, a reliable iron. Shame on the manufacturer of the shark iron. It's worthless.
Shark Steam Iron GI405 - part 2:
After my third call in under 24 hours I finally spoke to a supervisor. Not once did someone call me back during the promised 2-4 hour call back window. The supervisor apologized for the defective product at least a dozen times. Unfortunately, she still stuck with company policy: They will send a shipping label so that you can return the defective product, but must charge $1.00 in order to honor the 1 year warranty / send you a replacement iron for the broken one. So, the customer is to box up the defective product, with no promise of getting a new one, and be charged a dollar to purchase a new product that still has 4 months left on the warranty...although there is no guarantee that after they have received the old iron and the dollar that a brand new iron will be shipped. When I asked the supervisor if she had a district manager over her, she offered me an email address so that I could send in my complaint to corporate. However, she refused to contact corporate on my behalf or to connect me with someone that could provide more assistance. The take away from this experience is that Shark is not a customer friendly company, they want to milk you for any extra money that they can, customer service is a joke, you will not receive a call back in the promised 2-4 hours and the warranty means nothing.
Mine steam iron the whole thing gets hot you can not touch it another electrical problem I assume
As mine did not come with the manual I have no way of contacting company to trouble shoot :/
Junk I really did like this as I did not have to leave ironing board up and just hang my garment on shower door and
Zip zip your done !
Do not use them
The Shark Steam Mop looks so easy to use on TV. However, you have to push down hard to remove dirt spots (several times). Then after you are done, it leaves a dull residue and you have to mop again with anoter cleaner to put the shine back on your floor. I am sorry I purchased this product.

SHARK SUCKS! pure and simple. My steamer stopped working after a few weeks and their Euro iron never stayed on. When I first saw the ad for a floor steamer I shuddered...I'm willing to bet there are many disappointments with that product as well. Funny how they have no email to complain to... I will never go near another Shark product again!
Puchased a Shark Steam Mop from a TV commerical. We are very pleased with the product but the company selling it tried to sell us several other products. After telling the persitent representative that I didn't want anything I received a letter, along with some unwanted and unordered magazines, they intended to take over $1, 000.00 from our checking via debit card. If you wish to purchase any product don't order from tv sales. If you should run into the same problem go to your bank to have the charges removed.
Fraud and scam
I purchased this STEAM MOP from HSN but it had to be returned to Shark Steam Mop in Chino, CA. I am still waiting 3 months later for a refund on my credit card. Why buy from HSN and get the refund from Shark Steam Mop, as they don't even speak english. SHARK STEAM MOP IS A RIP OFF and as far as I concerned I will also no longer purchase anything from HSN as they will not stand behind products sold by their distributors.

I just purchased a Shark Steam Mop from amazon and it didn't steam out the mop properly! the pump had a leak and the steam entered the belly area of the shark and shorted out the level setting switch and burned my hand when I grabbed the metal part of the handle! I had to go to the Dr. with second degree burn in the palm of my hand.
I have used my steam mop less than 10 times. The main problem I've been having is that you have to push down so hard on the mop and there is a lot of "drag". My arms are usually sore after I use it! The last time I used it the handle snapped right in half. Not worth the 80$ in my opinion.
Bought my first Shark Vac/steamer floor cleaner at Kohl's for $100. Stopped producing steam after maybe 5 uses.Returned it to Kohls and exchanged it for a new Shark-same model. Just broke tonight after 5-6 uses.I am done.It is a piece of JUNK!
The mop has stopped steaming after using it a few time. Trying to get answers.
Mop stopped working. There is no way to get in touch with them.
As with everything on TV they can tell u anything and when u try to tell people the facts about something they call u a liar and why u ask cause they seen it on TV
I just received this mop as a Christmas gift and after using it only 3 times (with distilled / purified water as recommended) it has stopped producing sufficient steam to clean the floor (or iron, or any of the other uses that it supposedly performs). I had a Shark stick vacuum a few years back, and it was a piece of crap also! Perhaps 1 of the most disappointing aspects of this crappy product is the huge amount of plastic from which it is made. After just 3 uses it stopped working, and now we're left with a giant hunk of non-recyclable plastic that will sit in a landfill for the next few 100 years.
Shark Steam Mop sucks, and shame on Target and all of the other Shark retailers for carrying such a piece of crap product!
what about very filtered soft water?
Mop is steaming again! I read online what several people tried to get the steam hole unplugged. Last night I filled the tank with straight white vinegar and let it sit overnight. Then a few times I used a piece of floral wire and put it in the steam hole on the bottom and wiggled it around. Do this with mop unplugged. Then I plugged it in, set it in the sink and pushed up and down on the handle. Nothing seemed to be happening so this morning I used CLR with water (50/50) and put in tank. Did the same thing with wire after about an hour. Little by little steam started coming out and then it finally came out fully. I then pumped out the rest of the liquid in the tank and then filled tank with water and pumped again to clean it out well. I'm so glad this worked instead of having to pay shark to fix it.
Moral of story here is this...only use distilled water in this mop and be sure to empty tank when finished using it. Hope this helps some of you.
I bought a Shark steam mop at a department store. It stopped working on 1st use. I contacted customer service at Shark. After paying additional money for new mop to be shipped, the new one arrived 10 days later--- it had just been thrown in a box with no packaging materials and arrived smashed. I contacted customer service again and was sent a label for return and assured that a new one would be sent to me free of charge. Now almost 2 months later I am still battling with Shark as new one has not arrived. They have told me on 2 different phone calls that it has been shipped (different dates each time). Also I was to have had a return call, which never happened. Last call was today. Supposedly the new mop will arrive b y 11/19/11. We will see!
Accessories
I would like to know if there is a store that sells accessories for Shark Vacs instead of ordering accessories on the internet.
Thanks
Chris
I am trying to buy a part for my AI robot. Model Number UR250BEYUS and it virtually impossible. Calling, no. Online, no. Through the app, no. Why do you make it so hard to buy accessories for your products. I bought third party ones from Amazon and they sucked. I need the MAIN BRUSH ROLL PLEASE.
Very poor customer sevier
SharkNinja claims Autonomous technology. No babysitting required. Detects and avoids objects Ultra smart robot means you don't need to pick up before it cleans. This is not true as they have refused to honor the lifetime warranty I paid extra for. Just purchased 2/2/23
