Last time I ever stay here. Second night in room. Noticed a black spot in pillow. After taking pillow case off and inside cover. Found two dead bugs but the worst part was the dried blood I found on the pillow case itself. Dried and washed but why would you put that back into a room. Clearly there is no care given for the health and safety of there guests. I will never stay here again. Have pics see below.

My husband and I came up from Florida to attend my husband's father's funeral. We booked the room for 4 nights arriving on 9/5/18. The room was disgusting. The bedding had burn holes in it, mold in the bathroom, dirty noisy a.c, broken switch on lamp, garbage all over ground next to can by the hall entrance. The worst part was our bare feet sticking to the carpet. We were already depressed and this made us feel awful! We paid 90.00 for one night and feel we were totally ripped off!

On June 16, 2018 I arrived at the Garysburg, North Carolina for an overnight stay, which was fine. Then on June 26, 2018 when I received my credit card statement I discovered that the hotel management had charged an additional fee of $300.00 supposedly for a broken television. I have tried to resolve this matter through my master card company.
I have also tried to get in contact with the management of the Super 8 in Garysburg, North Carolina. Management will not discuss the issue with me. I definitely do not recall breaking a television set. it is my estimation that between June 16 and the time the claim was submitted that this room was rented by someone else. If the television was broken house keeping could just as well be responsible to maintain their employment. These examples are just possibilities.

I booked a room and when I went in they told me that it was a $300 down payment and I couldn't pay that fee because I spent the last money I had on the hotel and they told me that I could have some time to come up with the money and I couldn't. There was a sign in side the hotel that said free cancellation fees before 4pm and the time was only 2:00 and I asked them to cancel the booking and they said that there going to charge me the whole $317 (approximately) for the cancellation fee. And I was upset because it said that it's a free cancellation fee before 4pm

I've talked to the super 8 we stayed at multiple times over our card being charged for smoking in our room. I made our reservation through Expedia for a smoking room. When we checked in we reminded the clerk we reserved a smoking room. He moved us from the first floor to the second. We proceeded to our room and came back downstairs for ashtrays. The clerk handed 2 ashtrays to us. We checked out the next morning. A few days later we saw the $150 charge for smoking in the room. I talked to the manager who informed me she's only on site once a week and that the employee that gave us the ashtrays had been fired that morning for insubordination. I asked if we could get a refund since the employee led us to believe that the hotel still had smoking rooms. The manager said that refunds take a long time to go through. I requested a refund she then told me she would ask the higher ups about it and call me back. I've called every week since then and haven't been able to speak with anyone about a refund.
my room and customer service
I was road tired and arrived at 5 am with no reservation. I asked for a room. On the website it said $53.. He charged me 67.38 for a king bed. It was just me. After 45 minutes I get to my room and its dirty. Clearly not been cleaned. I go to the front desk and tell him and he switches me to another room on the 3rd floor. I get to that room. Its been cleaned but omg it smells so bad. He said there's nothing he can do about the smell and has no other rooms available. I deal with it because I'm exhausted. I get into the bed and its so lumpy there is no comfort. Again I'm exhausted and deal with it. I get about 4 hours of sleep and wake up to housekeeping staring at me. She didn't knock or announce herself. Just stared at me in bed. CREEPY! I tell her to go away and I'm so mad I get up and leave. $70 for 4 hours of sleep after I had a dirty room then another room that smells terrible with a lumpy bed. I was too exhausted to care at 6 am. I'd like my money back and this place shut down. I posted on Facebook how awful it was and several people said they had similar experiences there as well. That it was absolutely horrible.
937 Enterprise Lane Mt. Carmel Illinois, horrible customer service and rude owners. We paid for a week at a time and every day they have locked us out of our room. And the mold is actually making us sick, the air conditioning does not work . If I have to get medical help from the mold they will be dealing with an attorney. We have spent thousands of dollars here and tried to talk to them and all they do is give us another dirty, smelly, moldy room. Been keeping a record of it the whole time for my attorney

My husband and I stayed in Room 141 August 24th and 25th. I drew a bath after a long day and jumped in. When I got into the tub and started relaxing my eyes were drawn to the disgusting filth in the tub. All the way around and on the fixtures were caked on brown and green. I have photos that I took. As a former head of housekeeping I was appalled that we had just paid $383.14 for our stay in what we believed to be a 4 star motel (according to reviews). It was our Anniversary and we had come to this location specifically because of a previous stay. Upon closer examination I discovered hair all around the toilet and disgusting stains on the sheets (which looked like someone had wiped themselves on them. ) Needless to say I slept on the blankets which probably weren't much better. Sad that this is how I will remember my 20th Anniversary. I wrote the manager and still have not received a reply.
I believe that this warrants at least a partial if not full refund.
terrible room at motel 8
We stayed at this hotel from 8.17 thru8.20.2018. The staff was not friendly. The motel door glass was dirty, upon entering the room it was nasty. Towels and bedding very dingy. Rug around walls needed to be cleaned, upon going to bed later the blankets had many holes in. Bathroom was not pleasant. The next day we decided not to say anything as we were afraid that we would have problems w/staff. People were coming in to stay w/only a plastic bag. It appears to be that they rent to local welfare or low income people. Very scary place as we were traveling w/ our grandson. We paid $365.12 for three terrible days. We took pics of the dirt around edge of carpet and holes in blankets. The left the holes pulled out on top of bed and they put the same ones back on. This place needs to be checked out by your company with a suprise visit. I will most likley never book with Motle 8 again. Very poor lodging for the price. If it had been $50. A night i would still complain! have pic that i need to print out.

I stayed at Super 8 motel by Wyndham East Springfield East on on 9/1/18 and checked out on 9/2/18, the address is 1330 S. Dirksen Parkway, Springfield IL 62703. I paid for it online by Expedia.com for a total of $95.76 with tax. We of course had a long day at Knights action Park so were ready to get in our hotel room and get changed and showered since Knights Action Park is a water park. We got to Super 8 at 3:30 pm (Check in time is at 3:00 pm) expecting our room to be ready and it of course was not. We did not get into our room until 4:00 pm. In front there is a sign stating that if we check out late there would be a fee. There should be some kind of reimbursement if your room is not ready and we had already booked it days in advance. So we get into our room at 4:00 pm and we all take showers and immediately smell the mustiness my 2 year old toddler was wearing white socks of course clean socks since we have all just taken showers. By the end of the night her white socks were black/wet. The floor was damp and there was stains on the bed skirts. We never stay at hotels and wanted to take a family vacation out of town for the weekend. I do not know the policy of getting a refund if you are unhappy with your stay immediately and did not want to take the chance of leaving and hopefully finding another hotel that had a empty room with a King bed for a reasonable price. The floor was absolutely disgusting and then we saw the stains on the bed. When we left the hotel the next morning at check out we didn't want to even get on the floor to check under the bed because it was so gross. The cords on the radio were filled with cobwebs and dust. It honestly never has been shampooed ever. This was the worst stay ever. We could not sleep since we felt disgusting but still had plans the next day to go out as a family. We woke up at 6:00 expecting eggs, bacon and so forth. We went down to the "food court" and there was waffle and toast. That was the basically all of the breakfast. I will never ever stay at a motel 8 again. It would be great if I do get refunded at least. I want someone to go into room 118 to that hotel and tell me that it is not disgusting and have them feel like it's never been cleaned. I look forward to your reply and eager to hear your attempt to make this horrible stay right. I booked Super 8 in Sudbury for a be not get online through Expedia. There was the option to hold the room with credit card or debit. I selected debit. After driving for 5 hours we arrived at the Super 8 to be told that they resold my room because it was considered a "cash" reservation. The girl at the desk was apologetic however that did not help me find another room on the long weekend. Luckily after making several phone call the Clarion was able to accommodate us, I will never use Suoer 8 again or recommend them to snyone

I checked in on 8/29/18. I was locked out of the room over 5 times in 5 days. Because the keys didn't work. The staff was rude and unprofessional. Housekeeping never came to clean the roo.. I had to call the front desk for Service. On Sept/1/18. The maid came to the room. When I said come she left. I called the front desk and reported the incident. No maid arrived. I called Expedia, that's who I booked the room with. The couldn't get through to the manager they tried twice. At 5 :30 p. I called he front desk again requesting housekeeping. 5 minutes later the manager came to the door with an attitude. Stating that she checked the Security camera. And a maid came to the room with a vacuum cleaner at 1:45 PM and cleaned the room. So basically she was calling me a liar. On Sept/2/18 someone entered the room without my consent and stole money. The room was nasty the floors/ carpet was dirty. The housekeeping staff didn't speak English therefore I was unable to communicate with them. The entire stay was AWFULI was unable to make a complaint online marketing t wouldn't go through.
I'm sorry ypu UST have me confused with someone else. I don't know you personally. You were not there. What I stated in my complaint is what happened. The room/ floors were nasty. I had to request. Housekeeping if not the would have never came to clean it. The manager had an attitude about me requesting service. Made up a lie about a video tap that did not exist. Because she is liar. Get a life dirt BAG!

My fiancé and I stayed in the super 8 in Blytheville, AK on the night of 8-31-18 and 9-1-18. This was the most appallingly disgusting motel I've stayed in and I've stayed in a lot of motel 6's and super 8's. This place should be shut down for health reasons. My fiancé coughed his head off for 2 nights as I looked around the air conditioner vents were caked full of dust. The bedding was dirty (I have pictures)pillow cases and sheets had black spots all over them. The towels had black spots all over every single towel when we arrived and then when they cleaned the room the towels that were "new" looked the same. The shower curtain had black stains and multiple other stains. The handles of the bathtub had black mold in them them and the shower head of the shower was nasty. We had to go buy our own bedding just to feel comfortable sleeping and towels so we felt clean. This all defeats the purpose of a motel. One added non heath complaint, the TVs were so old they didn't even have an HDMI connector in the back I was an old ATV/audio jack we bought a converter to be able to watch our fire stick. We were here to visit my fiancé's dying brother on which was bad enough then this made it even more miserable. My fiancé is sick and I spent more money on blankets and sheets and towels to feel slightly comfortable, plus then paid $147.08 on a nasty motel. I would like a refund and for this place to be cleaned up and possibly checked out by a health inspector. I reserved this on hotels.com, reservation number was [protected].
unhealthy and unsanitary room
Husband and I checked in on 9/1. We got in the room & saw mold on the ceiling & the walls were dirty. My husband went to take a shower & the tub was clogged. I went to use the restroom & there was a cockroach! Came back to the bed & there was little red bugs on the bed. We immediately went to the front desk told them & checked out. They refused to refund us for both days.

we stayed here but what an awful place we paid 130.00 for one night ... no breakfast rooms were terrible...we came back and stayed at the hampton it was only 102.00 we had an awesome breakfast and it was a very clean and warm feeling place.. here are some pics of our super 8 room the fire alarm was hangng off the ceiling and the wire was broke ...the door that makes you feel somewhat secure was broke completely off
if they did serve breakfast i woulndt have eaten there ... i dumpster was probably cleaner ..lol not funny but true ... i will only stay in choice hotels from now on or the hiltons
I was denied a room
Hello my name is Thomas Schnitzhofer and I was traveling for my business in Ellenton Florida on August 29th 2018. I walked in and up to your reception desk, where I asked for my drivers license. On receiving it, I was told there was an issue, involving a resident also from Florida. After ten minutes of the story, which I was told about a man beating his wife and children, and the police being involved, that they no longer allow Florida residents to stay in your establishment. Which I responded, "so I may not have a room"? I was told no. I'm not sure if it was discrimination for being a Florida resident or for something else, either way it was clear discrimination. the chlorine in the pool
I checked in on September 1st 2018 because my daughter wanted to have a sleepover and swim. As soon as we hit the door u could smell the loud aroma of cholrine. My daughter and her friends then proceeded to go for a swim as soon as we walked in the pool area the room was so hot and filled with chlorine smell I fogged my glasses so bad. The smell actually made us sick. We complained about the smell to the front desk the explained there wasn't a manager on site. By then the manager came trying to over fill the pool by adding extra water this was then around 7:30 7:45 we checked in at 4pm my kids were forced to just sit in the hotel room because we couldn't swim at all. This was the reason I booked this hotel was to swim seeing that I wasn't given the proper customer service nor did they offers a refund I'm asking can I be reimburst my money back. This was my daughters 5th birthday and it was ruined.
dirty room
I checked in last nite around 11pm the room stunk and smelled like dog. The lights would not cut on in the room, only the light in the corner would. The clock didn't work. I went to open the refrigerator to put the pizza I bought in there last nite, I looked and it was a roach in there not to mention the microwave has a old bagel already stored inside . Also the toilet wasn't working and is over flowed. Then the continental breakfast is far from that. It wasn't even a waffle maker included. That was the only reason I even picked this motel. I am 3 months pregnant. Please help

Kelly, the manager at Super 8 Hotel (2100 N State Street, Greenfield In) acted unprofessional. My niece wanted to stay a said hotel with friends for her 18th birthday. I got her the room for the night. During the night she became ill not making it to the restroom. the manager choose to threaten my niece by calling the cops if she didn't clean up the mess. Kelly even looked her up on Facebook leaving a nasty message there as well. I will pursue this further.

We are staying at super 8 in Colorado springs off of aeroplaza drive, we have had rude service from the front desk regarding asking for towels when we checked in there were none in the room. After asking for a couple of pillows the lady at the front said she couldn't give us anymore, spending almost three hundred dollars and getting treated rudely. I myself work in retail and would be fired for treating a customer this way, on vacation with kids and just a total lack of respect for the consumer please contact me with a solution to the problem. roaches and flies
We cheked in on August 23rd 2018 and the room was infested with flies. The floor was dirty. We asked them to SPRAY the room
We came back from shopping all Day and the flies were still there. We then found ROACHES and we have videos of flies and ROACHES. The desk clerk Was Very Rude to us. We asked Emma to come to the room and look at all the ROACHES. They did nothing to help us. We checked out on Saturday morning for our Carnival cruise. I would like A COMPLETE REFUND
