Poor service
For 3 consecutive days I submit orders on talabat app and waited for more than 2 hrs to be delivered.. Called the chat agents they do absolutely nothing and end the chat by saying I ll apply a compliant for the complains team to calls you then nothing at all and no one calls back
Then I called and asked for a manager, till a manager called moustafa called me and said let me check and call you back then he disappeared and never called back
I again called back and asked for a manager that again had absolutely no idea what am talking about, and again repeated the same words of let me check and call back, till I was pissed off and said I don't want anything thing from your poor services so he didn't care a bit and let me hang up with angry feedback. And case was closed and no one even cared
Wow what a service!
And guess what they didn't call me and they sent to me apology email 😁
System issue - orders scam
I ordered 1 ala cart from one of the restaurant using my card as payment, but the time I click the checkout, the system says it is decline. I tried once again using the same card for payment, again, i received a decline message. Since I really want to proceed with my order, i proceed with it via "cash" option, then finally it was confirmed.
After an hour, i received a msg that my card deducted the first two orders i did (which its clear the app says decline a while ago). Then later on there's deliveries with the food food i ordered! In short i have 3 same food now! What kind of a joke is this talabat?!
I keep on talking to tour agent for a refund but same answer i will received! I have to wait 30 mins after our conversation for your team to call me! It's now 2 hours and i already talked to 2 different agents!

My order was never received, when I requested a full refund, the customer service kept telling me they were going to resolve the issue as soon as possible. It has been 7 days and now they're saying the money was refunded into my bank account, I contacted my bank and they confirmed that nothing was credited into my account that day or any day from Talabat. I have tried the live chat but the keep ending the conversation. I have emailed the management through an email sent to the restaurant I ordered from but no answer. The restaurant has since apologised and recognised their mistake for not delivering my food but Talabat CS doesn't seem to care about it much.
All I am asking for is my money back, it might not be much for them but it is MY MONEY.
I hope this gets resolved as soon as possible.

This company does not give just false promises it doesn't care about the pandemic that we live in their drivers are reckless and they never wear any safety gear.. No masks and no contactless delivery and when the complaint is risen they keep stalling and ignoring u and they all they do is sorry say sorry.. I ordered cupcakes this afternoon and what arrived was smashed cream in a box ! I complained with no response. The cost of the box and delivery is over 100 aed and we expect service and quality and I am extremely disappointed in the way I got the box. I have sent an email and complained online and on social and I expect my money refunded or a new box !

I have ordered 5:30am and after 1 hour I come to know that the restaurant didn't accept the order and no refund was processed.
I contacted their live chat, the agent turn out to be rude, no courtesy and zero knowledge on how to manage the frustrated customer !
My kids were waiting for the food and I did tell the agent, but i got a shock on the response he gave it back!

We were among good restaurant running in RAK, UAE and did good business through Talabat, i mean normal Talabat. One of the Talabat account manager requested to start TGO service, but for the past two months i had lost all my customers as the TGO did bad service, the customers did not received on time and some one did get nothing, payment loss for them and TGO customer service blamed responsibility on restaurent. Now account manager claims that it was the problem of rating but we checked review pack, they deliberately removed some of the rating from it. These zone in charge is destructing the right business of food delivery systems, good platform of Talabat and even today we faced a case, ( Talabat application shows restaurant as busy which was not busy exactly in). so why these fellows in charge are destructing the poor restaurants.
complaint against office agents related to driver's operations
I am Ahmed Nawaz and working in talabat as bike rider in Dubai, UAE. I am working under the contract of uplift delivery services. My enquiry is the finding way to complain against operations leaders sitting in office single business tower 501, that they have closed my working id and has not given me anyshift from last 5 days.
And their is no authentic reason for closing my shifts. And there were three guys in office when I last time visit them and they harassed me much enough by abusing and dealing with me in threatening and very unprofessional way. My request is please help me in getting my shifts in a respectful way and kindly tell me if their is a way if somebody make harassment and create such horrible scenerio where can I go to get justice. Is there any incompany solution or police is option.

We like to refer to our Thursday nights as "Talabat Night". We have been ordering through the Talabat platform since it was established years ago. With years of service, you would think that a company that has been in operation for as long as Talabat has, would learn from its mistakes and make an effort to improve.
Sadly, this is not the case and we have fallen victim to mishap after mishap with this sorry excuse of a company. The repeated mistakes are sometimes blunders that can be excused but the recurring incompetence demonstrated by Talabat Go and the Talabat customer service team as a whole is an issue that needs to be addressed.
The restaurant should be held liable when an error is committed on their part. However, as soon as that order is out the door and in the hands of a Talabat Go driver, the responsibility of getting that order delivered on time and in a presentable/edible state rests with the driver.
My order arrived tonight almost 2 hours after placing it through the Talabat platform. I followed up continuously with several different customer service representatives and was fed excuse after excuse as to why the order was late from "there's a lot of traffic" to "the driver is lost" to "the driver is just outside!".
I should not have been surprised when the driver finally did arrive almost 2 hours later and handed me an open, unstapled, damp bag with its contents strewn throughout. Needless to say, the food was cold.
The worst part, however, was spotting the delivery man slip his hand into the already open bag of food and help himself to some of my fries as he made his way down the corridor to my door. I handed the disheveled bag back to the driver and thanked him for coming out. I hope he enjoyed my dinner.
At this point, I got right back on the phone to Talabat yet again to explain to probably the sixth customer service agent I had spoken to today that my order was delivered late, was not packaged properly, was cold and was being eaten by my driver!
Talabat customer service agents are quick to throw out lines like "I am so sorry" or "I understand", but they are just useless words that carry little substance if nothing is done to rectify these errors that occur almost every single time I order food through their platform.
The best part was when I got a call from a Talabat agent only minutes after filing a complaint with a previous agent, to let me know that my order that I placed over 2 hours ago is now on its way!
Please do yourself a favor and order directly from the restaurant rather than putting yourself through the misery of having Talabat coordinate your order. By the time your food arrives (should you be fortunate enough to receive your order in full and not a half eaten moist bag of food), you will have already lost your appetite from having to follow up and deal with incompetent customer service agents. Following my horrible experience, I ask that you please do not accept any food delivered by Talabat Go unless it is properly packaged and sealed. Otherwise, prying hands may just treat themselves to your bag of food as if it were an invite to an open buffet
Service complaint
I would like to register a formal complaint. I tried placing an order for a steak and cheese footlong meal. I wanted to add mayonnaise and chipotle sauce to the sub. But, those condiments are missing from the choices. This is an ERROR in your system. I chatted with two of your associates for help. Your associate Reem R was very kind and acknowledged the error in the menu. She tried to fix it and sent a link to me. Unfortunately, the link to the Steak and Cheese Footlong Meal STILL did not include the option for mayonnaise and chipotle sauce.
As a result, I had to contact another agent for help -- Esraa E.A. I had to retype everything to reexplain the problem. Esraa said that mayonnaise and Chipoltle sauce are NOT options for the Steak and Cheese Footlong Meal. This is NOT TRUE. I have ordered this meal MANY times. These items are missing because of an ERROR. Esraa E.A. said that if the items are missing, that means that "they don't have it at the moment". This also is NOT TRUE. She didn't even try to help at all with fixing the problem. I asked Esraa E.A. to have a Manager call me so that we can place the order. I still have NOT received a phone call to help with our order. As a result, we are DRIVING to the Subway Restaurant to place the order in person. Because your agent Esraa E.A. did not help. My family and I spend A LOT of money with Talabat. We order from Talabat almost EVERY DAY! And the one time we need help from an agent, we receive HORRIBLE service. This is NOT acceptable. I am contacting the Talabat Corporate Offices. I am including screen shots of the chat as proof of the POOR service from Esraa E.A.

food safety compromised
My order no [protected] was accepted on Friday, 12th of July 2019 and arrived timely though the delivery time was 45 mins. Every minutes count when you're hungry and may eat no matter what is served. Same is my experience.
Pizza was cold due to the water dripped on top of the box from the ice bag, used for cream caramel. I have literally eaten soaked pizza as I didnt want to wait for another couple of hours to make a complain and arrange another delivery. I have photos of the same which can be shared upon demand.
Need to know about your action on how are you training your staff on food handling?

I have ordered something from Circle Abu dhabi at 19:00 pm. Now it is 20:52 and the order is still not here.
The first time i contacted your customer service, they said they tried to contact the restaurant and that they did not pick up.
The second time i contacted them
( almost 2 hours after my order has been placed) Mohanad E attended the chat. He was completely unhelpful. He read what i said and and just said wait 10 more minutes. He didnt eveb try to help in any way. I find that extremely rude and useless. Why do you pay and hire people who cant even try to help ? Unnaceptable.

I ordered last June 21, 2019 2 Dominos pizza from Talabat.com (not in the app) that cost 99aed. Payment was deducted from my account, I have proof from the bank that amount was deducted from my account. but there was no order confirmation afterwards. No order was placed. I called and chatted with them asking for a refund. They told me that refund will be processed for 24 hours.but until now I didnt receive any refund.

Today we ordered from Macdonald through Talabat .. the order was three meals but we only received two drinks ! When I contacted the driver again he REFUSED to bring the 3rd drink although he got his money fully! I contacted the customer service using live chat two times first time with a lady named Sara then with another person with the name of Koredos or something ! They both apologized and confirmed that the drink will be sent to us but IT NEVER reached ! This is absolutely not acceptable and this is STEALING! I made an order earlier on Talabat website in Dubai today, Order # [protected] from Bosporus and the delivery time was confirmed to be 35minutes after placing the order. To my surprise, a person calls me 20 minutes later asking for my name and address, he said he will place the order with the restaurant now and it would arrive 45 minutes later. He was so happy for me to cancel the order, he was also rude and shown no customer care service at all. Following this, sms arrives from Talabat stating the order was cancelled because they couldn't get hold of me, this was a completely untrue statement.
This was a very bad experience and this service was certainly not professional. It is certainly the last time I use Talabat service.
cyber crime - stolen card used to place order
Today I received first email from talabat.com confirming my registration and second email confirming about my order, paid through my credit card while I am sitting thousands of miles away in another country and neither registered myself on this "talabat.com" site nor I placed any order using my credit card.
This is a stolen card fraud case and "talabat.com" should help to reach the culprits who placed order.

One of your male arabic representative called me on talabat customer hotline today morning April 16, 2019 at 9:50 AM and told me that the restaurant was not picking the calls many times and there's no driver from them to send my food and he wants me to cancel my order immediately.
I was in doubt, I believe so he is not professional at all and was lying to me, so I called the TASTY BOWL RESTAURANT itself to CLARIFY and CONFIRM this information, and they pick calls immediately. Second, they do have delivery boy, only the item is NOT AVAILABLE and they have rice meals only after 11am. That's why the customer care cancelled immediately without prior consent to customer.
In future, opt out the items which are not actually available to avoid cancellations and inconvenience in future.
