unethical behaviour/unavailable table
Me & my Husband so happy to bring my family guest from Canada last Friday to TGIF around 8:15 pm for dinner after showing them "The city of Chicago" but when we arrived overthere @ TGIF they told us that they will closed 9:30 pm and there is no available table for 11 people right away which I seen so many table empty. I understand that they want to go home early because of the holiday but that is not excuse to say that for my family especially we drove all the way from downtown to TGIF 9651 Hiiggins Rosemont IL and we have some kids are hungry and tired. Now I will never never recommend TGIF and never eat there again.
the food
my family had an order take out from fridays and at first the forgot the side salad, then my mother had ordered the oreo cookie dessert and the forgot the toppings, i also order of bake potato skins, inthey were hard and no green chives were on them, just cheese and bacon, we had to go back and pick up the topping for the oreo cookie, and mind you i am visiting my mother from baltimore county, and i am on oxygen after having 2 lung surgeries, so this was very distressing to me, we spent a total of $88.00, which is not the problem, but i expect my food to be fresh and cooked liked the menu offers, i will never order from this Fridays again, nor will i reccomnd, horrible, but i also still tipped the cashier for take out, good, even when she informed me that my toatal on the recoept is here and her tip goes here, which i thought was not proffessional but tipped anyway. Anyway next time will go to long horn acrooss the street in the bowie town center, Thank You
we booked the tables, but all of them were unavailable
It was the last time, when we have visited the restaurant www.tgifridays.com. We called them and told that we needed 3 free tables for the evening. We told that it was very important and the rep told that it was ok. They booked the tables for us, but when we arrived, all tables were unavailable. The rep told to wait, but after 30 minutes in bar, we simply left. Avoid them!
horrible service false advertising
My husband and I went into TGI Friday's Monday, July 20, 2015 to take advantage of the endless apps as I had received the alert that new dishes had been added We try and go out for date night once a week at different places. WE usually end up at Friday's anyway We sat at the bar since we were also going to have a few drinks When it was time to order, my...

On Saturday, June 13th, my family of 13 went into Friday's as a celebration for my daughter. We arrived at 10:25 p.m., we waited 35 minutes before we could get into the restaurant. We were called at 11:10 p.m. to be seated. We were seated but seated separately. Four of the guest that were seated separately from us was approached by a hostess immediately. The remainder of us were greeted by a hostess 30 minutes later. She was very friendly or talkative. It seemed as if she didn't want to be there. We waited for an hour and a half before our orders were taken. By that time the other parties of our group that were seated separately from us were eating and just about done. We then still waited for over an hour and never received our food.. By that time we decided to leave. By then only two plates of food had come out and it looked as if it had been sitting forever. It was the worst night ever. My child and the other kids were hungry and even cried and got sick from waiting so long. This isn't the first experience I've had with TGI Friday's in Morrow, Georgia. Management didn't seem as if he knew what to do about the situation and about the hostess or our food coming out. People that came in after us were served their food and were eating. This is a way to loose business. My daughter loves TGI Friday's but we will never step foot in there again because the service is horrible. This is unacceptable and down right disappointing.
discriminatory services
On april 21st, my husband and mother and I went to the s lindbergh location for a birthday dinner for me, and were treated very poorly to the point of racial discrimnatton. The hostess seated us and my husband had to use the restroom, well as my mother were waiting, we waited on a waitress or waiter to acknowlege us they never did. Another couple was seated...

We were served the wrong entree. We touched the food because we checked that it was ours or not. She then said sorry and served it to the right customer. She should have thrown it out after we touched it. We asked for the manager and explained what had happened and that we dont want to eat here. We already had eaten a appetizer and a drink. He said that...

So I received a phonecall due to a charge on my american express credit card of 454.00 from a fraud transaction at a girls clothing shop called anthropologie at south beach. My only recent transactions where at tgi fridays twice. So I went over to fridays to see if the manager "Tong" could help me find out the employee who did this as it is highly illegal...

We frequent Friday's all the time. Living between two cities we dine at multiple locations but mainly the one in Terre Haute. As a customer there are expectations at both ends - from us it's patronage and tipping the staff to a degree that reflects the overall quality of service received. From the staff it's exceptional service, quality and integrity.
We arrived at 3pm and left at approximately 9:30pm. We tipped out twice between 50-75% of our bill vs. 15-20%. Accidentally, I left my sunglasses on the table. Noticing this this I immediately call. I explain the situation to which I'm placed on hold while she checks around. When she returns to the phone, she tells me no one has seen or knows about any sunglasses. I explain again that they had to be there as it had been only a matter of minutes that had lapsed. She offered nothing other than she was sorry. I hung up.
Integrity. I was seated in the booth farthest from any traffic and closest to the restrooms inside the bar area. The only people who were likely to come within reach of my sunglasses were either the server, the busser, or the hostess. And mysteriously not one of them had a clue as to where they were? And this is what I'm getting at. I love Friday's, I have since I was a kid and they made menus out of oversized, paper sunglasses. But I refuse to support an establishment that's dishonest, who's staff is just waiting to rob the very people who sustain their revenue pipeline. I simply cannot. And for any of my friends and family who dare ask, I intend on telling them not just to walk away and go some place else, but to run.

Like I tell my CHILDREN - take care of your things and you won't loose them.
absolutely disgusting
At Tgi Fridays the customer is not always right. With the neglect for our orders and presence, the servers and managers could care less for any of the individual's experience. If you don't like the smell of marijuana or presence of illegal drugs DO NOT go to this restaurant, our server (Ashley) reeked of marijuana. I demand that their employees and...

Today, Friday, July 19th 2013, My family and I stopped in for lunch and was blown away by how careless the management appeared to be. Our server Chelsey was one of the sweetest servers we have ever had and was very pleased and impressed with her performance. She was on top of everything and accommodated our every need. After waiting over 40 minutes for our food, it was not the greatest, and Chelsey noticed shortly after receiving our entrees that we were not at all satisfied with them. She immediately apologized and did everything she could to make sure we were at ease. As we looked around the restaurant, we noticed it wasn't just our table that was dissatisfied with their food. It's more than obvious that the kitchen is in major need of help and obviously is not ran by a manager who knows what they are doing. If it was not for Chelsey being so kind, I can honestly say my family and I would never return again, as I am sure other customers would agree. Management obviously needs to be trained better and have more respect for their staff. Thank you Chelsey for being so genuine and wish you all the best with your baby girl!
food quality
fri, night 3/1/2013 a party of 10 went to your rest. for dinner. The food was cold, over cooked and looked nothing like pictured on the menu. The sandwich bread and burger rolls were hard and cold. The beef was dry and over cooked. Menu said grilled onions. None were on the burger. the baby back ribs were cold and dry. The ruben was soggy, and meat was cold. We spent over $400.00 w/ drinks, and were all disappointed. :(

On June 30th around 8:30pm my family and I visited the TGI Fridays in Orlando (5933 Caravan Ct, Orlando, FL 32819 Store# 0787). My wife and I ordered the 3 course dinner. I ordered the Chicken Piccata and had the Pot Stickers as one of the choices for the appetizer, my wife ordered Bruschetta Chicken Pasta with the Mozzarella Sticks for appetizer. We would...

Fights - especially at this St. Charles location. Since it opened in October 2002, I personally have seen 3 bar area arguments/fights. One of them, me and my party were involved in. Now, this is 3 times that I happened to be there on occasion (and it wasn't like I was there "every other day", either), no telling how many other times. This is Friday's, not Denny's or Cadillac Ranch or Zero Gravity. And yes, I can understand some bad things can happen randomly anywhere at anytime, but at a family restaurant like Friday's, this should be minimal at best...
Some bartenders "overserve" drunk customers (to 'maximize TIP MONEY' --despite the universal, common-sense 'cut off' rule that any good bartender knows), I have seen this with my own eyes. One time as I mentioned above, some guy was wasted along with his 7 friends - musta been some birthday gathering or something. Me and my party of two other guys were sitting 3 feet away, NOT DRINKING, just having dinner. When this drunk guy bumped me and then proceeded to sneeze my direction in my food 3 SEPERATE TIMES, I'd had enough. Some words came out of our mouths and before you know it, all of us were standing and in each other's faces and a brawl almost happened.
Now keep in mind this was 8 of them vs. 3 of us. They had a few female friends with them too and it was painly obvious they were trying to 'act loud and tough for the chicks.' Parts of the confrontation then spilled outside! I tell ya, ya gotta respect some 5'5 130 pound guy (if that) who can bark curse words and threats when he has seven friends standing behind him yelling crap and talking with their hands like g-moneys...
HERES MY POINT- the manager on duty took roughly 3 MINUTES to determine there was a problem, and then step in. Other people casually dining (some senior citizens!) were all interrupted and watching all of this take place! The "manager" was sitting at the other end of the restuarant, flirting with the other "just got off their shift" waitresses at another table. Any good manager would have been to the problem in no more than about 20 seconds. I could literally run from one side of the restaurant to the other in about 6 seconds...
The manager was REAL quick to throw us all out, and wait for their party to leave seperately, (then ours a few minutes after them, ) because he knew had something happened, either damage to anybody or within the restaurant itself, or even at some other parking lot or location, Friday's in the long run would be held partially liable for continuing to serve already drunk people, and the manager KNEW THAT full well. Me and my party made formal complaints to Friday's corporate. After seeing copies of our receipts and hearing our side of the story, corporate sent us their apologies and some gift certificates...
A few weeks later, I was in the restaurant 'picking up' food. One of the waitresses behind the bar must have recognized me and went and told one of the managers (some NEW manager this week around - the restuarant goes thru managers every month..), who then came up to me and told me that he had heard that "I was the cuplrit" of some big fight a few weeks back and that his wait staff felt "uncomfortable" with me being there (a total lie and "damage control' type of response) and asked me to leave. I guess if some drunk fool sneezes in your food 3 times you are just supposed to smile and pat them on the shoulder...
I told him very professionally that "I am here getting take-out, not causing any disturbances, and that I wasn't about to explain the facts of what really happened because it was obvious HE WASN"T EVEN THERE THAT EVENING, and B. he had clearly been misinformed, BUT, that if he wanted to remove me, he was welcome to call the police, or physically remove me." He didn't know what to say, so he just walked away. I continued to stand by the bar counter and wait for our food.
I got my food with no further problems and left. I doubt he called the police (I could just see cops coming and asking what was up, and seeing just a regular customer ordering take-out food...).
I contacted Friday's corporate about this incident as well. I have been back to the restaurant various times with friends or family, and nobody has said anything.
I still recommend the restaurant, but this Friday's (St. Charles location) has had its issues.

bad service
The hostess who seated us today was nice enough, but she was very inappropriately dressed. Her skirt was very tight and very short...way too short to have a slit, yet it did. If the slit would have been any higher, we would have seen everything. I am upset at the complete lack of unprofessionalism shown by the fact that the young lady was permitted to dress in such a manner. I lost my appetite and will not be back if this has become an acceptable standard of dress.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
You're upset by the way the hostess is dressed at a bar that caters to adults. "If the slit would have been any higher, we would have seen everything" So I take it the slit wasn't high enough for you to see anything. What was the point of your complaint?
would not honor gift certificate
We only ate here because we had a gift certificate - but when it came time to settle the check - Scott the manager came by and informed us that the $50 certificate would only pay for my entrée salad and that he could not give us a credit for the difference - so essentially we pay $50 for a $8.99 salad! My friend's 3 course dinner special would not be covered by the certificate. We were fuming and paid cash & stormed out. We wIll NEVER eat at TGI Fridays again!
A $50 gift cerificate is essentially the same as CASH! It was not a coupon! The gift certificate for TGI Fridays was not redeemed because of the issue. We will settle this with other sources. Thanks for your feedback.

food poisoning
I was there in January of 2010 and had what i thought was a decent meal. within 45 minutes of the meal i started with some horrible stomach cramps and sever gastrointestinal distress. The next day i was vomiting violently and was taken by ambulance to the hospital where i spent 30 hours. Unfortunately i was switching jobs and was uninsured until the following month and ended up with a $10, 000 bill. That night in the hospital i left word with the restaurant and never received a call back. Two more messages were left for the location manager and still no return calls. I finally sent an email from their site and eventually was contacted by a regional manager who told me to file a claim with their insurance company. I then, after an extended period of time was contacted by a gentlemen from their insurance company (Broadspire). I was spoken to like i was a child and made to feel as if i was attempting to swindle them out of money. He made it very clear that it was hard to prove food poisoning and even harder to prove where it was contracted. He was very rude, abrupt and condescending. I submitted all the paperwork that he asked for and still to this day have not heard a word from them. I am now paying off the hospital bill. I have worked in the fire/ems industry as well as law enforcement and am not stupid.

bad service and non concern for customers unacceptable for honering coupons
I will report TGIF to the better business bureau, just because they deserve it. My story: My son took me to tgif tonight for an early Mother's day dinner, he had never been there before but i have been there a few times. The service was un-acceptable, the waitress forgot almost all our request, and never filled our ice tea until we asked, I had gone to the trouble the night before to go to the web site, as they ask you to do to get a free appetizer coupon, which I did and they ask you to go to the place to get a buy one entree get one free, which the web site will not take you there, so I did the the coupon for a free appetizer up to $8.00 in value which I presented to the waitress upon ordering, so we chose our dinners and it said, "get a free apptizer with your dinner" so we ordered and then she said "oh you do not get the free apptizer as it says on the menu when you have a coupon" she should have told us that up front, which is FALSE advertising anyway. When we finished our meal I had 6 shrimp and some broccoli left which I chose to take home with me in a container they provided, as we left I forgot to pick up my to go container, I rememberd as I pulled out of the drive way and about 10 minutes later I went back to retrieve my to go container and the hostess said oh it is probably in the kitchen, and said she will get it, then she came back and said "oh I am sorry the bus boy threw everthing away from that table", COME ON NOW you don't even have the courtisy to go out into the parking lot in that short of time knowing that if someone asked for a togo container and it is sitting on our table when it is cleaned off that the customer might REALLY have just forgot it, OH PLLLLEEEAAASSSS, so I went back 10 minutes later and "OH I"M" SORRY" you cant' even hold it 10 minutes in consideration that the customer may come back for it? As it was, with all the lousey service and non-consideration, my son said how much tip should I leave, I said I would only leave $5.00, he said yeah but they only get paid very little and rely on their tips, "you know mom, he said you were in the business" I said yes I was, so what ever you want to give, so he gave a $8.00 tip, I did not get my togo container any way and I was very FFFFRRRRUUUUUSTRADED for the lake of consideration from this Restaurant! BAD On YOu
you did leave it at the restaurant and it just was leftovers relax, its not the end of the world.
Calling the BBB for a night of slightly negative service? Ridiculous. Contact management if you want but it's obvious you are over-reacting. However, I do agree with you on the coupon issue but you should have asked for a manager as soon as you got your bill, and you shouldn't have tipped if you felt service was bad.
"as we left I forgot to pick up my to go container"
It seems like what upset you most is that they didn't run out to the parking lot or save your food for ten minutes. They need to free up tables for other customers. YOU FORGOT IT. They did not it. IT IS YOUR FAULT. They may not have a safe storage space for customers food, and honestly I'm sure most people wouldn't come back for it anyways. Your waitress apologized and you are being a whiny ### about it.
lazy bartender
sat at a booth up by the bar and waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. normally when you sit by the bar, the bartender is supposed to take care of you. I had gone to the bathroom in the middle of when we finally got our food and overheard the waiter and waitress that was helping us, saying that the bartender DAWN, REFUSED to help us. WHY?! because she is so god damn lazy and doesn't think she has to do her job. the waiter and waitress that helped us were very nice, I think Kerry and Kristian. thanks to them I had a great night, but I really feel horrible for them having to do OTHER PEOPLES JOBS. my table wasn't in either of their sections, it was by the bar, therefore she should have gotten off her lazy ### and DONE HER JOB!

abusive staff, managers, corporate
This TGI Fridays near waterford lakes, abuses customers and so does their management. On top of being abusive to customers, their corporate office does nothing about it and blames the customer for it. The entire management will go against a customer for no reason while their waitstaff abuses the person. Corporate doesn't care and instead supports it and the bad treatment and lying. Beware of this place and company...

I feel ya, You don't want to go to the airport location either. They'll tell you that they'll take their own coupons that you provide to them before you even order, but, after you've eaten and you get your check, they'll refuse those coupons and leave you sitting there feeling like you were just robbed.
Diabetics should be careful here as well. I ordered an unsweetened tea, but the waitress brought out a sweetened tea, even after I specifically told her I can't drink sugary drinks. I took a big drink of it and almost spit it out all over my wife.
So, thanks Brian (TGIFriday's airport manager ) for cheating us out of $10, thanks to the waitress who gave sweet tea to a diabetic and also, to the cook; thanks for the steak that was like chewing on shoe leather that cost me $17!
And you're right, the company wont bother to return your emailed concerns as well. seems as though they have the same "We could care less about our customers" attitude as the manager does! I won't go back.
