Town Fair Tire Centers stolen gps

I brought my truck in for service. When I went to pick it up I checked to make sure my GPS was still in the center console and it was missing. When I when in the store manager, Nelson Froia, said that I probably misplaced it or that I let someone borrow it. He suggested that I call the police. I asked for their 800 service number [protected]) and left.

When I returned home I called I called the police and placed a police report. Then I called their 800 number and spoke with Rich Allen to file a complaint. About a half hour later I get a call from some shuck stating that the store manager wanted to look in my truck and I refused which is completely un true. He argued with me until I finally hung up on him. I WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TOWN FAIR TIRE AGAIN IN MY LIFE!

Town Fair Tire Centers poor service, damage, incompetence

Went to the Salem, NH, Town Fair Tire on Friday, Dec. 3rd, 2010 to have 4 new wheels & snow tires mounted on my wife's 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. Dropped off vehicle around 12:30pm, and was called that it was ready at around 5pm. (Someone, I think the manager Chris, was yelling at the person to STOP! - the person talking was translating for the person in the background and told us to come and get the vehicle - it was ready.) So, my wife and I drove down and after about a 10-minute wait someone named Justin came up to serve us. I asked if the car was ready and he said "I don't know where to begin". I had gone to Town Fair against my better judgment as I have had nothing but problems with them in the past. I bought a set of studded snow tires for my '98 Durango from them. The tires work great; the problem is every time I tell them to rotate them they don't. (4 times in a row now) When I had them do an alignment on it the steering wheel was cut 70 degrees to the left. Chris, the manager told me that my "rear wheels were off". The Durango has a solid rear axle, and has never been in accident, so this statement is impossible. So I took it to Sears (paid another $69.95) and they aligned it perfectly and the guy that did it stated that "Town Fair Tire only adjusts the Toe, nothing else. They are just Toe & Go." To get back to my wife's vehicle - it was not ready because they put the new tires on the old rims and that is the condition it was in when we arrived. I exploded at Justin (raising my voice a little - no profanity involved but everyone in the store knew I was furious), informed him of all the above problems with them with my Durango, and told him to refund my money to my credit card and get us out of there. He did that, and wasn't snide but just very apologetic. He took my anger and refunded our money. The car would not be ready to pick up for another 20 minutes so my wife and I went home. They called that it was ready just as we were heading back. We picked it up and Chris, the manager was there and tried to apologize. I told him I was too angry to speak - and he shouted "OK - have a GREAT evening" with a big sarcastic smile. Furthermore, the vehicle only had 3300 miles on it so we told them NOT to align it. Chris wrote this on the work order. So guess what? They aligned it saying it was "a little off." Now, I have to being it back to Salem Hyundai to be aligned again as they are not competent to do alignments. Furthermore, when I took my impact wrench to re-torque the lug nuts, I found that they had scratched every lug nut well on the vehicle when they had removed the wheels. Now, we have 4 scratched wheels and a mis-aligned vehicle that is going to cost us to repair. My advice would be to go to Tire Warhouse instead, I've had them do work on my F-350 and they were much more competent and did not damage my wheels. I will NEVER use Town Fair Tire again for anything. I wouldn't trust them to screw the lid on a jar of peanut butter. My wife has a very busy job and had to take a day off to do this. Now I have to take a day off to take care of it and wait while they do it right at Tire Warehouse. Town Fair Tire should pay us for the alignment, 4 new wheels and our pay we lose for taking a day off. One of the worst experiences I've ever had at any retailer. (Not to mention that now I must do my winter tire changeover on my Durango myself which TFT is supposed to do free for life - I have a bad back, bursitis in my right shoulder and am on heart medications. That's why I paid someone else to do it - but am now screwed.)

Town Fair Tire Centers customer service

They DO have the low tire prices, but the markups on valve stems and balancing is horrendous.
Free flat repair is NOT free. They have to rebalance the tire @ 5.00 dollars each.
Some of the worst front desk people I've ever encountered.
They NEVER stand behind their, always claiming that it's anything other than their people.
Look @ your invoice CAREFULLY, as they have hidden fees which will up your bill.
I will never go back again

If your new tires are advertised at a lower price (with like services) bring it to our attention and we will refund you 150% of the difference. We beat all competitors…GUARANTEED!

I took the advertisment and they match the price, serivce was greate, but when I looked my invoice I found there is no road hazard, I asekd them about the "Like serivces", because my add had road hazard, and they told me they dont have road hazard on those tires... If they told me before I will just go to the other place and get my tires with road hazard...

Town Fair Tire Centers terrible customer service

What a HORRIBLE experience! Try any other tire company before even thinking of using Town Fair. It's obvous that management has never even talked about acceptable customer service with the employees. I heard several nasty conversations with other customers (while I wayed for 3 hours when I had been told it would be "quick") and then we all got to hear the employees openly bad mouth the customers that had just left. The list of what I experienced is as follows:

- badly sracthed one of my rims and insisted that I gave it to them like that
- asked me to carry my tires back and forth to my car in the parking lot
- Repeatedly gave me the hard sell on getting an alignment done on my 4 month old car (it's so obvious how they are commissioned)
- The coustomer "lounge" is a bunch of plastic chairs surrounded by the tire inventory to make a "room"
- I swear this happened, they took my credit card info by taking one of those really old credit card slips, that no one has used in years, and RUBBING A PEN OVER THE SLIP WHILE HOLDING MY CARD UNDER IT!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE - extremely unprofessional

There is no customer service at the Enfield Ct. store. I was told it was a one and a half hour wait to rotate my tires. This is not a free service when the wait is this long. The 4 people at the counter ignored me until I spoke up and was rudely replied to. I will not ever again go back and I will tell ever one I know how the operation works. Terrible is to kind a word to use in describing the Town Fair store.

Town Fair Tire Centers I will never go back

I visited the town fair tire in shrewsbury ma early last week for a price on tires. first off, i waited for about 7 minutes wile all the sales people were screwing around and did no even ask me if i needed help, its amazing that they can pay all these people to goof around and not even do their jobs. i had to ask them if someone could help me, and a sales person named george finally stop texting on his cell phone, and asked me what he could do for me, and i asked him why it took so long for someone to help me when there was no other customers in line, and he told me that i have only been standing there for a minute and it wasnt a big deal so i informed him that i have been standing there for a long time, so i asked to speak to the manager.
after about another 5 minutes the manager jason came over and asked what the problem was, and i told him i was extremly aggrivated because ive been in the store for 15 minutes and no one wants to help me and he was extremly mean and unprofessional and told me that i just have to wait my turn and i told him i have waited for 15 minutes and there is 7 employees doing nothing and no other customers ! so i just walked out and i heard jason mumble under his breath that i was a ###! this is rediculous and i wanted to smack him in the face but i just walked out and went to national tire 2 minutes away and had four new tire installed and told them my experiance with town fair tire and i will never recomend them to anyone and i will never go back!

Town Fair Tire Centers poor customer service and damage

I brought my truck in a few weeks back and had four new tires installed on it. Not cheap, now, I waited two hours more than they quoted me, and was apologized to by the person who claimed to be the manager, (he was not).
I got it home, and lo and behold, three out of four rims had damage to them, dark, deep scratches all around, and around valve stems.
I went in the next day, and the "manager" looked it over, it assured me that they would have one of their subcontractors paint the rims. Got me thinking, if they have someone on retainer just for that, do they damage rims often?
He told me that they subcontractor would call me to schedule a time. Either he didn't or did not know how to leave a message, so I could call him back.
A week later, I called back, this time the real manager, "Rob", told me that they were waiting for me to paint my rims. I informed them I don't read minds, and to have the painter use voicemail. He again filled my head with false promises of proper communication. Guess what? The painter either never called again, and certainly did not leave a message.
Now I have been fed up. I emailed their corporate website, only to recieve a phonecall from the district manager who angrily told me that it was ME that did not show up for these so called "appointments". How could I show up for an appointment of which I never made, or no one made for me? He refused to listen to reason, and became more and more angry. He left me with these words. "My offer for the paintings on the table", take it or leave it. Then before I could reply, he simply just hung up.
So let's see where this leads me. Town fair tire did in fact offer to rectify the situation, but only offered and never followed through, not even with a phone call. They were extremely rude to me, and treated me as if I wasn't the customer they had damaged goods on at all, but more an extreme annoyance.
Never again.

Town Fair Tire Centers did not perform service/poor customer service

I left my car most of the day on a Sat. to have a nail in the tire plugged. They changed the tire valve, pumped up the tire and off I went only to have the same tire flat the next day. They are not open on Sundays.

My husband replaced the tire with a spare and I brought in the tire on Monday which was not easy to do after foot surgery. In addition to not plugging the tire, they had taken my special green valve cap (which helps me determine tire pressure) and in fact, did not put any valve cap on at all.

Instead of apologizing for the error and the inconvenience it caused me, they diverted the issue by saying I had the wrong valve cap on my car in the first place. The Toyota people never complained about that and I've had my car serviced by them many times. This was a tactic by Town Fair to take the attention off their mistake.

I never got an apology. They angrily took my tire away to make the repair, but attempted to continue the valve cap argument.

So how did this become my fault and not theirs? Let's see, they did not plug the leak even though they had the car most of the day, they took off the valve cap and lost it, and did not even put on a replacement. Then I had to return on my bad foot with the tire to try a second repair. Excuse me Town Fair, but if you want to keep your customers, you will apologize to them.

I will never purchase tires from Town Fair nor will I ever so much as get a tire plugged by them. There are too many other dealers who actually treat the customer with dignity and kindness.

Please be advised, Town Fair is not the place for you.

Yes, they do still plug tires ! and I had a simmular problem with them I removed the tire and rim from my car and brought it for a flat repair, I removed the tire and rim because I didnt want the car to be tied up all day for a simple flat repair. When I arrived I rolled the tire in and pointed out a big nail that was in the tire and the person there told me he could plug it no problem and charged me $4.19. I paid and asked how long, His reply was "an hour" I came back in four hours after running errands. I asked if I were all set the sales person said yes and gave me the tire and wheel I rolled it out to my car placed it in my trunk and drove the 1/2 hour to my house, I pulled the car into my garage jacked it up pulled the lugs off and removed the spare tire, I went over pulled the suppositly fixed tire out of the trunk started to roll it over to the car and I was cut by a sharp object as I rolled the tire. It was cut by the same nail that was suppose to be replaced ! I was livid ! I had to put the spare back on drive a 1/2 hour back to the shop walked in pissed off only to be told they didnt realize that the tire naver made it into the shop to be repaired, there was no apology or even a sign of caring. I was simply told give me 2 minutes ill get you right in and out, Well I would at least have expected that seeing as how they wasted my time and effort. They did plug the tire replace the stem and rebalance the wheel. oh and as a kid I worked for the company as I paid my way through school and the were incompetent then and still are today, and they really dont give a ### about customer service. They need to give their managers and sales people training in the area.

Did you actually have a nail in the tire? They don't "plug" tires anymore, they "patch" them from the inside. Replacing the valve stem every time the tire is dismounted is standard and required practice. If there was a defective pressure cap along with teh nail...well there's your problem..

Do you know for certain that it wasn't your special valve cap pressure monitor that was not leaking? Toyota probably didn't notice (or care about) your fancy valve caps. In case you were not aware, these valve caps detect pressure by slightly opening the valve in the stem. If the cap itself is not fully screwed on, or leak-proof, it will cause the tire to lose pressure. That's a fact.

BTW..I have no affiliation with Town Fair...I was just reading these complaints to decide if I should buy another set of tires from them...

Town Fair Tire Centers terrible service &pricing scam

Second rate tires, alone, are a buy but add-ons and service charges bring the price up to average. Do not be fooled... "free" alignment really means quick shoddy work which will mean many trips to the store for correction, or expensive work at a decent garage. Workmen are not allowed to make more than a single adjustment, even though it would only take another 5 minutes. Balancing is done on a machine any assistant mechanic could use, but the workers can't be bothered unless the manager stands behind them. Unless you want to spend hours waiting for shoddy work, as I had to, spend a little more than their come-on price so you can walk away satisfied. Town Fair's final price isn't any better and the service is terrible.

I went the town fair tire in Concord NH expecting the "best prices, beat all competition" treatment as well. I brought my 2 1/2 year old daughter with me. We purchased 2 front tires at 150 dollar total and was also told we needed to purchase a warranty package and a 4 wheel allignment. If you go back and read their adds it say free add on including a "2 WHEEL" allignment so I'm guessing they get everyone in there and tell them they need a "4 wheel" allighnment and the upsell on the Warranty. My advise is do your homework and say no the upselling. My 2 tires came to $252.00 which after all is said and done I would have preferred a professional mechanic and or dealership to have done it and it probably would have cost the same or less with a promotion.
Now my tires sound like they are going to fall off and its only been 3 weeks..You best believe I'm going back for that "30 day guarantee" lets see if the 30 day guarantee is only for "Weekdays" or something?

DO you homework, take your time and ask a lot of questions, don't let them rush you into a decision like they did me with a 2 1/2 year old on hand.

Do your homework and be prepared for a major run-around when you deal with the store located in Salem N.H. When the company's web site advertisement says "We Beat The Internet Competion" don't expect the process to be a seamless one. I have purchase 4 sets of tires for 3 cars I own and each experience comes with new twists and turns during the process. When you go in with the documentation that you printed from a competitor's web site, they start with the "nickel and dime" scenario saying there is a charge for this and a charge for that. They try to force their 4 wheel alignment on you and seem to be put off when you politely refuse. Just recently I made an internet appointment to have tires put on my son's car. I confirmed the appointment the day before. When he showed up they said he did not have an appointment. That prompted a call to me from my son which resulted in a short but stern converstion with the sales associate. Miraculously they found the reservation. Five minutes later my son called again and said the cost had gone from $440.00 to $500.00. Once again I had to educate the guy who insisted there was a charge for the front end alignment. He admitted he charged for a 4 wheel alignment without asking if I wanted it. Long story short...do you homework but be prepared to do battle.

Town Fair Tire Centers damage tires

I brought tires from these jerks last year for my 2005 sts Cadillac. They sold me tires for the front of my car and charge my $1, 000 for two tires with balancing and valve stems for them. They told me these tires where on a discount. I brought the tires and one year later the tires have begun to where out. One of them has a bubble on the side wall. When I returned to Town Fair Tire they told me that It was a road hazzard and that they couldn't replace the tire because I didn't have their road hazzard Insurance that cost another $13.00 per tire. I ask them if they sold me tires for $1, 000 then why didn't they tell me that road hazzard was extra then. They expained that it wasn't their fault so their is nothing that they can do. But they wanted me to sign a waiver saying that I know that the tire is bad and might blow out at any time. I told them I would not sign anything of the kind and they will here from my attorney.

1. Buyer beware, it is not up to the store to show you every little detail of your purchase, it is up you to inquire about it. 2. The company is required by either law, or their own policy (i forget which, i wasnt a manager when i worked there) to get you to sign a waiver that you know that driving on your wheels is dangerous, otherwise you could sue them. 3. Unless you have custom/chrome rims with racing tires, i'll agree with the guy above me. Your a bloody idiot.

Town Fair Tire Centers charging for services that come free

Veterans Day 2008: Upon having a 2pm appt. and not leaving until 5pm, and after listening to at least two other customers blast the personel for the same issue, while NO manager stepped in, I noticed I was charged for an alignment that comes FREE with my tires. Keep in mind, I did ask the Town Fair empolyee at least two times if it came free. But his selling skills or should I say, "improper wording" of a Balance AND Alignment being one in the same, made me think otehrwise. When I sent Town fair a letter via email, as of today 1/18/2009, not one Town Fair manager has even called me. Instead, I recieved an email to say, my letter would be email to a regional manager and that I would be reimbursed $25.00 ..Which still has not arrived... because they were waiting for me to reply (?) ~This was by far the worst expeirence I have ever had in their industry! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

I worked for town fair tire as a salesman for a couple years and when it came to alignments we could not give away the free front end alignment, we were ordered to sell the four wheel alignment. If a customers vehicle does not have any adjustments in the rear we had to tell people the you have to reference the rear wheels to match the front. There is never a circumstance where you will ever get a free alignment from them. It is merely bait and switch.

In referance to the you paid for the 4 wheel alignment which is the proper allignment and a front wheel allignment can mess up your car answer. It is funny that you should say that because I went in for a Four wheel alignment and TOWN FAIR TIRE did a two wheel alignment and chared me for a four wheel alignment and said they could NOT do the four wheel alignment so if your answer is correct WHY DID TOWN FAIR TIRE START THE ALLIGNMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE AND CHARGE ME FOR WORK THEY DID NOT DO, they stated that the bolts were tooooooo tight .

I took my car elsewhere and THEY HAD NOOOOOOOOO PROBLEM DOING THE 4 wheel alignment and told me that TOWN FAIR TIRE did not know how to do it that is why it was not done.

We now have a saying here, "SET YOUR CAR ON FIRE BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR CAR TO TOWN FAIR TIRE" PS my company cars are not serviced anymore by TOWN FAIR TIRE and we do tell everyone about it and we are in the car repair business. please respond I cant wait !

for one thing an alignment and balencing arent one in the same they are two different things and town fair tire gives a free front end alignment but if the manufactor requires a four wheel thats a different story some cars only have a front wheel adjustments and thats what you get free and as far as the wait time like anything else problems arise you might have to wait longer suck it up and get on with your life

you paid for a four wheel alignment which is the proper alignment. The free one that your talking about is just the front tires and actually can mess the alignment up worse. you shouldn't post a complaint if you are ignorant to what you really paid for. You always had the right to ask someone from town fair and not a letter.

Town Fair Tire Centers unprofessional

I normally do not take the time to blog a complaint, but after todays (12/18/08) mess I need to tell everyone.

I had a simple flat tire repaired. That was fine, nice job, BUT. I went inside my truck and everything was upside down. One can only assume that the employee was having a bad day and messed the inside of my truck. Employee was looking for the socket to unlock the tire. All compartments where messed up. Center compartment, glove compartment, under the back seat compartments. Items inside the door compartment I found on the back seat floor?

Portable razor was broken, this I leave in the front door compartment, why it was on the back floor one can only tell. I left the razor at the North Haven store. Employees actions uncalled for and unprofessioanl.

I complainted to the manager and showed him the mess. The manager did apologized (accepted), but it seems some new policies need to be enacted. May I suggest that a manager inspect the inside of a vehicle prior to and after any tire is repalced or repaired. A review for employees on how to respect a customers vehicle and please call owner if you can not find socket to unlock tire. A follow up phone call to see if everything was fine.

As a commercial customer I expected better. In this economy it only take one employee to tarnish your name and months to repair it.

Having worked for Town Fair Tire previously as a Tire Tech, i can tell you that store policy is that any needed parts for the work done (wheel locks mostly) are supposed to be found by the cars owner to prevent theft. While this normally isnt followed up on (It usually takes about 8 seconds to find the stuff), it should be if finding the item becomes a serious problem.

I bought 4 tires for my car and the receipt lists free flat tire repair as being included in the price. I did get 1 flat repaired for free. I even bought 4 more tires for my other car from them, based on the convenience of having free flat tire service. Then, when I needed another flat repaired, they charged me. When I disputed the charge, they said they were posting a notice that flat tire repair was no longer free. I bought the tires with the free flat tire repair and they should honor the original agreement. BE VERY CAREFUL. These people do not keep their promises.

I took a tire (on the wheel) to Town Fair Tire in Rocky Hill Connecticut to have a nail removed and the leak fixed. I marked the spot with masking tape showing the nail that was causing the leak. When I picked up the tire, I saw the nail was still in the tire, and a repair plug was installed next to the nail. When I showed it to the service reps and the manager, they all said it was not a nail, even though I proved it was with a small magnet. They finally took the tire back and said they pulled out the nail (The one they said did not exist). I had to ask them to check it for leaks, Hopefully if they patched the inside of the tire, it will not leak after pulling the nail. When I installed the tire on my car, there was a sever shimmy because it was out of balance. Again, I took it back, this time with the tire on the car. (Big mistake). After the re-balance, they installed the lug nuts with an air wrench, followed by a torque wrench to make sure they were at least tight enough to stay on. When I got home I had to loosen the lugs with a long "Cracker Bar" in order to set the correct torque spec. I would never had been able to remove the lugs with a normal wrench. The manager was present for this whole fiasco and didn't care what went on in his shop.

Normally I do not take the time to blog a complaint, but felt frustrated after a simple flat, It seems one employee was having a bad day. When I returned to pick up my company truck. The inside was turned upside down. Employee was most likley looking for the nut to unlock the tire.

Everything was tossed around, some items ended in the back seat floor area, those items I keep in the front door pockets. Glove compartments messed up. Center compartment messed up, compartments under seats also messeed up and electric portable razor on back floor broken. This, I keep in the driver side door pocket.

May I suggest a review for employees on how to treat a customers vehicle. Suggest also that a manager review the appearance before and after any tire is replaced or repaired. Suggest that in the future that someone just call me and all this could have been done without the stress and Town Fair Tire being tarnished on service.

actually the falt repair on the tire itself WAS free. what you fail to realise is that they have to remove the tire from the rim in order to patch-plug it from the inside. the 4 dollars and 19 cents that you are complaing about buys you a new valve stem and gets your tire rebalanced. that is a twenty dollar value discounted to four measley dollars. plus it is a lot of work for the guys in the back to even find your slow leak. give them a break they are trying their best and just doing what their bosses tell them. you do what your boss tells you right? get a life!

Town Fair Tire Centers advertised pricing!

Town Fair Tire web sites states, "We beat the internet." This is not true. Nor do they beat mail order pricing. Their advertising is a lie. I specifically requested, exact same product. Exact same service, (cash & carry.) What really flagged them as a "sell up" driven company, is their "free" front end alignment. This is clearly a come-on to sell not needed, high margin parts. Such as, ball joints, tie rods, shocks, and steering racks.

This company stinks from a distance.

TFT does not sell parts, we buy them. As for cash and carry, you just try to find a place that will install someone else tires.

Buyer beware for the cost issue, and i can assure you that TFT does not sell parts (unless you count Chrome valve stems as parts, which i dont)

I just want to say that Town Fair doesn't sell parts. The one near me said I needed ball joints and realigned my car after I got it done. They specifically said they don't sell parts.

Hope that helps!

Town Fair Tire Centers work not done correctly!

I brought my car in on Friday January 11,2008 due to my steering wheel shaking when at high speeds. When I spoke to the sales associate I told him that I think that I may need an alignment or a balance in my tires. He stated that they will take a look at it and let me know, but we have a package for $99.00 that will give you a balance, alignment and a tire rotation. So then he came back out after "looking" at my car and says well your tire belt in the right front tire in broken so you will need a new tire as well, you mi swell get two new front tires. So I agreed! The man that had fixed my car brought some paperwork out and presented to tell me that they do not make a balancing kit for my kind of car?

So $250.00 later, I soon discover that my steering wheel is still shaking at high speeds, so I decide to bring the car back to have them take another look. I walked in and was describing what was happening and that I was there on Friday January 11,2008 but problems are still proceeding. When A young man behind the counter said from what he thought so I could not here "she probably took the tires off the car, that's what the problem is" he walks away. So I said well if I wanted to take my tires off the car myself then why would I be bringing it here for you to look at. The men behind the counter did not know what to say. The young man who made this statement came walking back up the the counter, and one of his fellow co-workers said "she heard you" so the young man says "my bad" and I said yes it is!

Anyway they took my car in the back for a second look and when the guy who had worked on my car brought the car out front and he proceeded to tell me that he gave two new free tires in the front wheels, Oh and that my front right tire rim in bent and that is why I have the shaking in my wheel and if I wanted to go to the junk yard to get a rim he would fix it for free!

Well my question is how come I was not told about the rim being bent the first visit, or is it that they bent the rim when they were working on my car? All I know is I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. Whoever runs a business like this should be embarrassed!

Unless your driving a Ferrari or some other $100, 000+ Dollar car, they can do the work on your car at TFT, especially the balancing because 1. There arent "kits", there are different types of bang-on weights, as well as weights that you can stick to the inner part of the rim, which can do the job if no other weight will work. The big thing you need to realise is that most of the people working at a place like this are either motorheads or drop-outs. While they can do EXCELLENT work under competent management, they will typically do much worse if the managers are incompetent.

Brought two vehicles in for new tires. On the first vehicle when we went to pick it up the person driving our vehicle came whipping thru the parking lot with no lights on and it was dark. They almost crashed into another vehicle. Then they couldn't figure out how to get the key out of the ignition. We sat there and watched this. Then came the second...

Hankook stated they never received my information via mail for $100 Rebate. I sent in all information required. They will not accept it even when all information and receipts were provided. $600 tire scam! Do not buy from these scammers.

they stripped my wheel lug bolt and told me to get a lug nut... went to the auto store and got a wheel lug and rushed back for them to replace it only to find out it was the wheel lug bolt and they don't even replace them and to go to a garage.  I got two quotes of $175 and 200.  Both places said it was caused by mishandling of the car and forcint the wheel lug nuts on at an angle and should of been threaded before an air gun was used on them and the store will not take any responsibility.  I am escalating this higher to corporate and even the attorney general's office if mabe.  They should be careful.  Then the guy also had the nerve to tell me the bolt was rusted on and that happens when you do not maintain the tires properly.  they are the only ones who touch them (tires that is) and I rotate every 5-6k and put 1k a month on the car.  I also park in a garage at home.  there is no rust what so ever.  LIES LIES LIES

When checking loose lugnuts, look at your center caps, and make sure they aren't broken... It isn't rocket science to change tires, and I believe they do this crap on purpose...

I got a great deal on the tires but had to bring the car back three times for the balancing and it still isn't right. The steering wheel shakes when I hit 55 mph on the highway. I don't understand ... tires is what they do for a living, isn't it. I have never had a problem with TFT before - they have always treated me like gold. I wonder...if I was a 6 foot 4, 350 lb man, would the job have been right the first time?
