package arrival time
Goddam UPS service! Never give any specific time for delivery. I had spent whole day long to wait for my package and the package came about 5 minutes before i left my house for dinner. I am very disappointed and question to their services. How you expect your customer to use your services if you cant give a promise to customer. Things that send from UPS always delay, never deliver early than the time show on their tracking information. They just like to leave a sticky note to you. So whats the point you tell your customer you can deliver on the time?
hidden fees / delayed delivery
I ordered box on newegg.com, on their site there are two option a) 2-3 day delivery b) 3-5 day delivery. I choose option b) and newegg.com charged me with 7341 russian rubles for shipping.
Here is my first problem with UPS, on 08/08/2019 the UPS broker contacted me and told me that I must pay another 1100 rubles, because they need to do some paperwork.
Second problem with UPS, I paid 8500 (including hidden fee by UPS) rubles for shipping in 3-5 days, but I sill do not have my package on hands.
My main complain, is that UPS uses fraudulent practices and charge recipient with hidden fees, even if the delivery was fully paid by a sender.
driver complaint
Dear Sir or Madam,
I just had a terrible incident with one of your drivers on August 10, 2019 at 12:45 p.m. I was ready to leave my house and your driver parked in my driveway, blocking me in. I asked him nicely to move his truck. He was extremely rude and called me an a--hole and walked away. His license plates are: XBF-T14. He threatened to kick my [censored]. I was scared for my life.
Please look into this and put this complaint on his record so it doesn't happen
again.
Sincerely, Nicholas Smith
package sent back to sender
My package with tracking number 1z2239vw1215448140 was scheduled to be delivered on 08/08/2019. We had road construction that day in front of our building, so I have used UPS online system to update delivery instructions and requested the package to be delivered to our apartment management office (just a different building in our complex), since no other options were available. I would prefer to pick up a package from UPS office location nearby but there was no such option available.
I didn't get a chance to stop by our management office on 08/08 after work and decided to check delivery status on 08/09 morning. I see delivery status is "sent back to sender", I contact UPS customer service and the rep is telling me that my package was in fact delivered to the management office and the info on UPS tracking site is for a different package with the same tracking number. Very confused, but reassured that my package is at our management office I wait till 9 am and go there as soon as it opens. I am informed my package was never delivered there.
I call customer service again, to be informed by another rep that the first rep I spoke with gave me incorrect info and that my package was sent back to sender because it had restrictions on it to be only delivered to specified address and since I requested it to be delivered to the management office, the driver decided for the "safety" of the package to send it back to sender. The fact that the option to deliver it to the management office was available to me on UPS website is somehow not applicable to that particular package, and it is my fault for choosing it. I ask to speak with a manager and the rep starts questioning me about why do I want to speak with a manager, puts me on hold and forwards me to refund department.
Frustrated with poor customer service and their total incompetence, I call again, and speak with yet another customer rep, who is finally trying to resolve my issue but not able to do much and after 20 min hold I get to speak with supervisor Rose, who takes my phone number and information and says that she will try to locate the package and will call me back.
I never heard back from Rose. My package tracking still shows that it is in the process to be returned to sender.
Incompetent driver, customer service and their management. They are costing their company more than they are worth!
driver
i have made numerous complaints about a driver. he threatened me, i have the complaint number [protected]
he refuses to drop off any of my buildings packages, because he claims the front door is closed. the building is open air with several obvious visible entrances. i have made complaints #[protected]
its the same driver, the whole neighborhood knows him, he will cause u.p.s lawsuits for sure, possibly from me.
i cannot believe a manager would send a driver back to a location after the driver threatened a customer
delivery
EMS is the most unreliable company you can use for sending your parcel oversees. I sent a parcel from Nigeria to Canada using expedited delivery and paid for insurance. Three weeks later, no parcel, no information. After extensive talks with the Nigerian Postal Service, Somebody decided to track the parcel, they found out that EMS gave my parcel to UPS and had a different tracking number showing item had been delivered. They delivered my parcel to a wrong address. Please do not use this company. In the advert you have issues with your parcel there is no actual human being to see. They have no physical location. Communication is only done through phone calls. They do not take responsibility for your parcels even when you pay insurance on it. My parcel was delivered to a wrong location, despite having the correct address on it. Parcel contains my sensitive and private information and is now in the hands of someone I do not know. The company says the investigation process takes 8 business days but accepts no repsonsbility. I am in the process of filing a police report as my sensitive information is in the hands of a stranger. I am disgusted at the kind of service I was provided and still being provided. I have been the one calling the organization for my parcel, they do not call or offer any support. Staff on phone keeps transfering your calls as they cannot help you. YOU probably are made to get frustrated and forget your parcel. My parcel has not been recovered. The purpose of the parcel has been defeated. I am one sad client.
On each occassion I called UPS, on the 1-800-782-7892 I have spoken to numerous staff including CIA, MARK and a manager named LAMAR. I have not received any apology regarding my parcel even when the company staff verified my parcel was delievered to a wrong location. I have invested money, time and effort into the parcel that has been delivered to a wrong location.
Please do not do business with EMS or UPS. They are an irresponsible pair.
repeated delivery scheduling failures
I ordered an 18 foot Sunsetter motorized awning that was to be delivered by UPS Freight. I signed onto the UPS website to get delivery information to my cell and email. The order listed my home phone for contact as well. I received the following text: "07/24/2019 10:33 A.M. San Leandro, CA, United States Arrangements for appointment attempted" I checked my answering machine, voice mail and email and came up with no contact whatsoever.
I called customer service 2:00pm July 26 to inform them that no contact had been made for a delivery appointment. After apology, the agent promised to have someone from San Leandro contact me within the hour. That did not happen that day or the next, or at all.
I called back on July 30 to complain about the lack of contact and delivery scheduling. After apologies the agent asked to put me on hold while she contacted San Leandro to get me scheduled. After 15 minutes of holds, I was put in contact with a guy in San Leandro who asked me what I wanted. I asked if he had my tracking and delivery information and he said he did but he was not the scheduler, who was at that moment, busy. I asked if he could get it scheduled and he said "sure, when do you want it". I told him Friday afternoon, August 2 at 3:00pm. He said ok and confirmed my delivery address. I then received the following message: "07/30/2019 9:15 A.M. San Leandro, CA, United States A delivery appointment has been scheduled with the consignee" Feeling somewhat sure that I would have my delivery on Friday, I arranged for contractors to come Saturday to install the awning.
The delivery was never made Friday and I received no contact on any media. I had to cancel my contractor with no idea when the delivery would be made so I could reschedule. Today (August 3) I call "customer service" only to find they have no weekend customer contact. This has been, and remains one of the worst customer experiences I've had (and continue to have). At the least, one would expect a company like UPS to honor their commitments and to provide a way of rectifying repeated failure - even on a weekend.
delivery
I ordered an item with an additional charge to be delivered in 3 business days. I ordered on a Saturday so I was aware that I would not receive item till Wednesday. I did not receive the item on Wednesday but at this point I give the company the benefit of the doubt. Thursday comes and went and still no delivery. I was waiting at home all day. Thursday night I tracked package and it said it will be delivered on Friday end of day. THAT IS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR. Friday night, still no delivery, tracking package, stating package could not be delivered. I have nothing that proves UPS came by, no left notice, nothing.. in fact I have a doorbell cam that records all activities outside.. NOTHING! Now my tracker shows delivery by Monday end of day. Not only did I pay in addition to have a quick delivery but the item ordered was a birthday gift that I was to hand out this weekend. YOU RUINED IT. This is unacceptable! I need an immediate response. [protected] -- [protected]@yahoo.com
bad delivery
Congratulations UPS you continue to impress me with delivering my packages to another address! How do you do it so well? Oh i'll leave it at this address and give them a Christmas present. I had 2 brand new iPhones arriving today and when I saw what company was delivering and I knew I was in trouble. Once again, lucky me has a neighbor deliver my package to me (after they opened it). Unfortunately, I don't have a say on what company delivers my packages. I will be requesting all packages delivered by UPS be delivered to one of their local stores and then just pick it up. At least then I can hold someone accountable if my package is missing! UPS you are now 0 for 5 on delivering my packages to MY front porch, but you sure do like all share my items with all my neighbors! Get your act together, jeez! Not that hard to verify an address!
employee speed
I would like to submit a complaint on one of your drivers speed in a residential neighborhood. Date: July 31st, 2019 Time: Appx. 3:30 pm, Location: 75th Ave NE Olympia WA. This is a dead end road with a T for another street. The driver came off of Marvin Rd NE, music loud and not real fast. He delivered then returned down 75th at a speed I would say of 35 mph. The posted speed limit is 25 mph with a cautionary sign of 20 mph around an "S" curve. I did yell to slow down, for all the good that would do, but I am concerned for the neighborhood children and pets who might be close or on the road. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
packages left at gate
UPS has code to our gate in the system. Drivers are leaving packages outside the gate and in the rain. Regular drivers use the code and leave in garage. Recently outside gate in the bushes or on top of mailbox ?
This is an invitation for theft and many items have bee ruined. Do I need to reset the gate code or update in the system ?

A guaranteed delivery for today didn't deliver. Driver claimed he attempted but that is simply untrue. There was no note or stub left nor did the driver showed up.
I received the package that was sent thru USPS, about the same time UPS driver claimed he attempted. I always have my packages delivered here at the clinic so someone can always sign for it.
Attaching the package I got from USPS.
dispatch mgr made no effort to get my delivery to me on the date setup on advance
Good Afternoon,
I am extremely dissatisfied on how I was dealt with by the Dispatch Mgr Mark Albanese out of the Bethlehem, PA location. I was advised that my package (Tracking # [protected]) was in Bethlehem's terminal 7/15/19 Monday Evening. The first call I made regarding the delivery was Tuesday, I had a follow-up conversation Wednesday regarding the scheduling my delivery for 7/19/19. I had someone waiting at my home for the delivery from 10:00-4:00 PM as recommended by RoxAnn (Cust Serv Rep) earlier the week. At noon yesterday, Roxann advised me that the Dispatch Mgr would have the package put on a truck within 45 minutes and delivered to me by around 2:00PM. I received a phone call around 1:30 Friday from Mark Albanese where he stated I wouldn't receive the package with no explanation as to why the delivery was not going to be made, other than it is too far away. I insisted the appointment was made well in advance and should have at least received a phone call early Friday morning if there were a change in delivery. I now have wasted additional money and I still don't know when the package is going to be delivered. This is extremely poor Customer Service, I plan writing up something up on Social Media as to how the Dispatch Mgr of the UPS Bethlehem location dealt with this situation.

delivery
on friday 7/19/20 i was expecting a delivery from you tranking number 1z9r65e9yw02123981- said by the end of day---when 9pm came and the 10 minutes later, i received an email that there was an attempt to deliver 7:30 pm no answer and required a signature . no true, first off no one was here, i have video, cameras, i and my neighbors were out side, in front of said address----one is a ups driver, , , we were waiting all day...the email says there was an attempt, , , , no such thing, , , now it also says because of this im taken out of deliver and sent to usps service-----no way to get my package, now i want the deliver guy to see he didn't even come anywhere near this location...our regular driver is george ...there is also no notice of this on my door, because i was on my front step waiting...so where he said he went to is wrong, i bet he can't describe my home...color and such ...i will now put this video and such on the social media if i don't get this resolve and an apoligy from you and driver...i'm really upset that your company had to lie, , , , should have just deliverd this the following day, , no issues-your workload too much for driver---that i can understand, but to lie, , , , not acceptable ...i will wait till monday -then you will be able to watch this live on the web...thanks
incompetent drivers and inconsistent times of pick up if they bother picking up at all!
This is not the first time I have had this problem with UPS in my area. This is not the only location I have had this happen. UPS drivers are completely unreliable when it comes to pick up times at remote drop off centers and boxes. They come early, which is what happened to me Saturday. I dropped off my overnight package to a location that had a last drop on Saturday of 4pm and when I got there they said he came 30 mins earlier. I called customer service and complained and said they needed to send someone back over there at 4 since that was the time of last drop. I was told I get a call back within 30 minutes... surprise surprise that didn't happen. Just now I got a call from the receiving person for that same package that said they still haven't received it! It's still sitting at that location so the driver didn't bother picking anything up from there Monday either! This is beyond unacceptable and the package I sent is time sensitive and is now causing all kind of problems from not having been received on time due to UPSs in ability to hire and manage responsible drivers! I make it my habit these days to always recommend NOT using UPS in this area because this is a constant problem here and there doesn't seem to be any desire or attempt to rectify the problem. They have a serious issue in Oakland CA from the warehouse down to the drivers.
shipping cost
I left something in a rental car in NY. I was called and asked if I wanted it mailed back to me. I was told it would be sent UPS 2nd day June 24th to which I said it was not that urgent ($14.99 item). I also gave them my UPS account number 28R54V which they apparently didn't know how to use. I received it "overnight" June 25th and just received an invoice for $156.94 No matter the mistake not using my number, how do you justify $156, 94 invoice. We send "overnight" packages almost everyday from my office and the charge is generally $25 I wouldn't have accepted the package knowing this "usurious" fee!
united parcel service
First, I would like to state that I drove a delivery truck for UPS from May of 1964 to August of 1976 in southern California. At that time, customer service was very important and the drivers were expected to provide excellent service with each delivery. If a customer was not at home and there was not a safe area to leave the package, we would try leaving it with a neighbor. Many times we could leave small parcels behind a screen door or in a garage, so that they would not be seen from the street. At Christmas we would sometimes need to deliver a bicycle in a box with pictures of the contents on the box. In a case like that, we would contact the customer before we left the package to ask if their kids may be present, as we did not want to spoil the surprise. Again, service was important!
Now to the present day of UPS deliveries. Seems as if service is no longer important to the company or their drivers. They don't even knock on the door or ring the doorbell to alert the customer of the delivery. Instead, the parcel is just left in front of the door, so that if the resident doesn't look down when they step outside, they may fall over the package. Also, there is the problem of packages being stolen from front doors by dishonest persons or "porch pirates" that follow delivery trucks to see when a parcel is left at a door.
As for today, I had a return package that was to be picked up by the UPS driver. I was inside all day and the driver never rang the bell or knocked on the door. I called UPS customer service to let them know that I was home waiting for the pick up. A service rep from the local office called me to say the driver would return for the parcel.
In closing, I just want to let United Parcel Service know how their service policies have changed since I was a driver.
unethical behavior
The UPS driver Anthony that comes to the property to drop off packages has shown continued unethical/ sexual behavior toward myself Elaine William and I am requesting it to stop NOW, and him be removed from the route. I do not want any problems with him over this complaint. But I am expecting something be done to stop this behavior.
Last contact with driver 7.10.19 - He walked in and rub his lips with his finger and told me he like my lips.
He has also driven up beside me while I was walking and asked if I needed a ride.
He comes in and continues to talk about my hair and what I am wearing. I have shared with him many times this is not needed but he continues with this behavior. Today was enough for me to try to get your help. Thank you If you have questions please contact me at my place of work [protected]
truck driver parked in reserved shuttle space
Good morning,
My name is Emma Button; I am contacting you through the office of Morgan Babcock, manager and coordinator of the Carlyle Council. We have had a consistent issue with a truck driver parking in the reserved shuttle space in front of 2000 Duke Street. His truck number is 157633. There have been multiple encounters with him, trying to correct the issue, where he has been continuously rude. Please have a UPS supervisor follow up with my manager.

ups store # 4687 (douglas sipes owner)
In June 2019 I was involved in the McLemore auction of liquidating the Thiel company in Tennessee.
McLemore Auction noted this spiel in Terms and Condition: (Douglas Sipes at UPS Store #4687 at 718 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204 will provide shipping and pickup services for items in this auction. If you intend to have items shipped, please contact Mr. Sipes before the conclusion of the auction to make arrangements to have him pick up items from McLemore Auction Company, LLC as your designated agent). I noted Douglas Sipes as my designated shipper twice via email as directed. As events unfolded it turned out he did not pick up the items but instead relied on the individual overseeing the auction. The problem started on 6-21-19 at the end of the auction. I called Mr. Sipes and i believe he said he would get over to the Thiel site on Friday or Saturday and the won lots from the auction would most likely be shipped by Monday or Tuesday. In reality, what happened instead was he later said he lost electricity from Friday until Sunday so he was behind. Each time i called and spoke to him he was short and acted as though it was my fault for being concerned and telling me i was just one of many customers he had to deal with. My thoughts were he was overwhelmed by the size of the job but unable to admit this. Each time he promised me the moon, i will get to yours today or later. Fast forward to 6-28-19 when the items were finally shipped. During our conversation of estimating charges i asked about double boxing and he said he inspected a shipping container earlier and felt it was sufficient to ship without double boxing. However, he then said he could double box but it would cost a lot more and gave me an estimate which i declined. I received the items unmolested which i am grateful for. However, upon arrival i see that the item were already double boxed from the factory so i am glad i declined although Mr. Sipes would have loved to have charged me the cost of double boxing. Also, early on during one of our conversations he described my lots (2) as "low hanging fruit" and would get them out of the way early on. As it turned out this was not the case as i suspected, they were still there the next day when i called to check. In my opinion and based on my experience with the Douglas Sipes's UPS store i would have to say i am greatly disappointed in UPS in Tennessee. He was short, curt, blamed customers for having concerns and downplayed his responsibilities that he decided to take on. PS, there were many other dissatisfied customers from the Thiel auction. I know this because on one of the occasions that called the UPS store a worker said " are you from the McLemore auction" to which i replied, hoe did you know? He responded "because he, (Douglas) has been getting a lot of phone calls from the bidders. I am starting to get writers cramp so i will stop here. I also have serious doubt that UPS will do anything although i felt somewhat compelled to alert UPS about his poor business habits. PS, through all of this Mr. Sipes never once offered reduced shipping to compensate for his poor handling of the auction. Don Guin
